the thing is THE THING IS !!! the parallels between the trios are BASICALLY NEVER one to one. Tetsuya Nomura is a Character Parallels Fiend the same way TobyFox slams down leitmotifs. The people saying Terra and Riku parallel each other aren't wrong, they're just not seeing the whole picture (Terra also parallels Sora, Ventus, Xion, Axel, etc). Everyone is paralleling each other like they make commission and rent is due and the fandom as a whole doesn't really acknowledge it all that much.
