do you ever think about how Pac is so incredibly prey coded and people usually take this to mean like a rabbit or a doe. running away at the first sign of danger. freezing in headlights. giving up because there’s nothing else he can do

but what about other “prey” animals? rams and elk and fully grown deer? sure they may run. sure they might freeze in your headlights. but i’ve been taught that seeing a moose or an elk in the wild can be just as dangerous as seeing a grizzly bear. one wrong move and they will trample you. a ram can charge and gore you on their horns. if you hit a moose with your car, you will die before the moose does. a fully grown buck would make a pretty trophy, but you better hope he doesn’t decide you’re intruding on his territory.

i don’t think Pac is a rabbit. i think he saw himself as a sacrificial lamb, quiet and gentle and willing to do anything to himself as long as it helped someone else, but i think he changed in purgatory. i think he grew horns.

and i want to see him use them.
