There were likely crowns and headdresses worn by kings and high-ranking individuals during the Bronze Age, as seen in the "Prince of the Lilies" fresco. Unfortunately, I'm not well-versed in this specific topic; otherwise, I'd know the name of the crown type worn by the Archaic Zeus of Ugento.

I'm particularly drawn to that crown, and I've noticed similar designs on some Archaic red-figure pottery. The Sabouroff Painter Hera also has a similar crown. It's basically the main crown i think of when i think about the gods, lol. However, I've been unable to find any information about it.

Your designs look awesome, I've always also imagined Zeus with "Zig-Zag" hair in the way that if he had curly hair, for example, it would be zig-zag curls instead of the usual rounded ones.

reeeeeeeally love the crowns omg theyre simple but also bold? idk how to describe it but theyre kinda beautiful (i prefer this style over jewel encrusted headpieces).

looked up the fresco :D i always love how vibrant they are! says here the crown combines waz-lilies and peacock feathers (gasp hera). will be featuring in the next art hehe.

anyways i dont think couple/ family portraits were very mainstream back in ye olden days so ig im just going to make one from scratch, these are my references thus far (poses not appearance)

not at all era accurate lol, but i imagine zeus standing tall and proud, very regal like, possibly newly wedded to hera, who is seated beside him on a throne looking to the side, the light in her eyes still.
