I fucking love my roommate. Allow me to explain, and no you don't get to say no, my roommate is the best person on this planet and I need to rant about them.

So we've been living together for the last 3 months, and for the last 3 months they've put up with all of my batshit craziness. They've listened to me rant about Trolls, watched the movies multiple times with me (and ignored my fanboying over the best parts), let me blast the soundtrack over and over again, and let me decorate my half of our room with dozens of Trolls posters. They have supported and encouraged me as I cut my hair into a mohawk, dyed it blue, and got the tips frosted, designed tattoos for Trolls, and got hyped up for November 17th. And so I thought that they couldn't get any better than they already were. I mean, even my freaking parents don't do what my roommate does.

I was wrong. They got better. So, so much better.

How, you ask? How could they possibly get better?

Recently, they got a girlfriend who, and I say this as platonically as possible, I love with all of my heart. She's SO SWEET and SO KIND, honestly kinda the human version of Poppy, and she makes my roommate SO HAPPY. To top it off, she loves Trolls too.

Why is this relevant?

Today, after MONTHS of listening to me rant about how fucking excited I am about Trolls, my roommate and their girlfriend are going with me to see it in theaters. I didn't even ask, they specifically said they wanted to go with me. They have said that they love how happy Trolls makes me and they want to share in my joy.

I have the best roommate in the entire fucking world. I just can't, I love them so much 😭

started actually spiraling out today i am. unwell

#ri speaks #had literally the worst fucking day dude #found out i had to write an APPEAL. for a job i really want. because i failed a class last semester.#and then Moments Afterwards #fucking three people texted me #all at the same time.#and i love my friends i do #but it was truly too much #i was like. already freaking out and then #i was sitting there like. god. im the worst friend ever (<- did literally nothing wrong)#and then i skipped my night class because i was like fully starting to have a panic attack #AND THEN. someone emailed me back and “updated” me on something i ALREADY KNEW and i was like oh my god. i cant do this.#because like. i ALREADY felt guilty about that #and then that just compounded it #but its literally not my fault i knew. but whatever #and they literally wont care theyre like the sweetest person I've ever met #i went to dinner and was like. so fucking nauseous from stress #AND THEN. fascinated to hear your reasoning on not liking cane corso, since to me they’re kind of the midway point between dogos and neos which I know you both like. I also dislike them for both aesthetics and temperament fwiw (sorry corso stans)

I agree with you except I think that that midway point is really awkward and icks me in a way I cannot describe, like a weird Pokémon middle evolution 😭 I think 99% of it is their eyes? I guess coming from a Collie/Beauce/Dogo lover standpoint we want a very dark eye, and every Corso I see stares straight into my soul or into another plane. Also dilutes are super popular around here at shows and they almost invariably are hairless by the time they're veterans

#even at shows which obv doesnt mean theyre the best representative of their breed #(i mean just look at beauces i guess)#there is one (1) dark brindle i really like the look of #i think its just me being repelled by dilutes in the breed #which is weird because i like dilute dobes and neos #such are the nature of preferences i suppose #every corso ive met has been a fine dog but their owners are either the sweetest ever or literally the worst and there's no in between #kind of like akita owners #asks
