Just realised I never actually gave a real verdict on my thoughts & feelings of Dragon's Rising Season 3 - I just made like 4 posts with Spoilers & then dipped LMAO

SPOILER-FREE VERDICT: holy shit. They are doing THINGS and they are doing them well. It's a FANTASTIC start to S3 & I'm clawing at the wall waiting for what they do for the next 10 episodes. It's seriously so good. Im so excited‼️‼️

LLOYD‼️‼️ ONI RECOGNITION‼️‼️ HE SPOKE ABOUT THEM & THEIR RELATION TO THE FSM - WE'RE GETTING CLOSER TO A ONI/DRAGON LLOYD HERITAGE REVEAL TO THE OTHERS I JUST KNOW IT‼️‼️ uuuughhoughh Lloyd... my favourite traumatised pathetic wet cat of a man. How is he still kicking I will never know. HIT HIM WITH MORE TRAUMA PLEASE‼️‼️ although. Maybe scale back and don't kill him again because OH MY GOD. HE HAD HIS SOUL EATEN??? WHAT THE HELL?? he can't go ONE day without everything happening to him. ALSO! Sora and Frak were. Interesting. But I GET it. They're brought together through weird circumstances, Sora most DEFINITELY still had some wariness due to Frak being with Ras before & Frak desperately trying to prove himself to show that he's NOT a terrible person, just manipulated & misguided due to finding Ras first ouuuugh I love them. Their relationship, of 2 guys who have the same best friend but have never met, is SO GOOD. THEYRE AWKWARD, THEYRE SNIPPY AND SARCASTIC, THEY ARE NOT COMFY TO BEGIN WITH!!! & that's PERFECT! honest to god - it's 100% the vibe when you're new to a job (Frak) & desperately trying to make friends with your coworkers your age but desperately trying to seem normal oooough they're so weird. honestly I would have LOVED to see how they kept progressing it BUT!

SORA & ARIN. I can't lie - REALLY wasn't expecting Sora to go with Arin & Ras. BUT! It's probably bc I honestly didn't expect Arin to go back to Ras. I wasn't expecting him to go with the Ninja, no way in hell he does NOT feel comfy with them at the moment still & he's still mad at Wu, but I REALLY thought he'd go his own way bc he is just SO FED UP with Ras. (Aren't we all?) BUT the fact that they DID go together is really nice, my babies☹️ they're best friends they love each other so much they mean so much to me. I hope they leave Ras in part 2, I hope Sora can convince Arin to find his own way - OH! WHAT OF 1 OF THE NINJA FIND SORA BY HERSELF & TELL HER THAT ARIN'S PARENTS ARE ALIVE & SORA TELLS ARIN & ITS A WHOLE PARALLEL TO THEM FROM SEASON 2 WITH THE LYING & TRUST OOOOUGH. just a thought.

Kai, Nya & Wyldfyre... OOOOUGH they're so silly. Nya & Kai were at each other's THROATS this time - I was a little wide-eyed every time they had their arguments, BUT I've seen SOOOOO many people say that they were ACTUALLY acting like siblings this time round & since I don't have those (hi yes im an only child) I'm gonna believe everyone else bc I don't completely understand how siblings work‼️‼️like TRUST I've seen siblings arguments and I would NEVER imagine doing that to someone and having us actually talk to eachother again afterwards but I guess that's just how you guys work. Freaks. ALSO! Despite me LITERALLY just saying i dont understand sibling dynamics lmao - Kai & Wlydfyre. Are definitely siblings. They WERE giving father & daughter when first introduced but NO WAY anymore. They are SOOOOOOOO older brother & little sister with a BIG age gap. I love them so much - ESPECIALLY Kai's attitude towards her & Roby. He was SO ready to kick ass when Roby got messed with & Wlydfyre was upset ouuughh...

MORRO: I didn't realise how much I missed him? He's not a character that I like. Think about a lot (like the main guys) but I've never hated him. But holy shit wow they've done him good they did him so good I LOVE his character. ALTHOUGH! WHY WAS HE EATEN AT THE END?? Brought him back JUST to kill him??? WILD do the writers even like him. DARETH: why. I have a... love/hate relationship with him tbh - I straight up never know how to feel about him he's so fucking strange. I've missed him. I wish he didn't come back. I hope he annoys the Ninja again. I hope he dissappears forever <3 ARRAKORE: UGH IVE MISSED HIM SO MUCH. This iteration is a weird one for me (in a /pos way), I don't think this list quite explains how I really feel about each turtles. A more accurate one would be condensing all 3 into 1 place and keeping Donnie in 2nd but I can't quite do that to my baby 😔🫶

Remember when I said I love Rise Donnie's vibe? Man I think I love '03 Donnie's vibe even more. They're LITERALLY polar opposites and here I am fawning over both.

I can't separate Mikey and Donnie even if I tried. Love them both very much, its not a competition. Leo's character is just great, especially during S4. I just wish Raph had more solo episodes but he's still a great character nonetheless.

OK so.... this is... very vibes based but....

Kwiat Jabłoni's re-interpretation of Eldo's "Miasto Słońca" (City of Sun) is THE wxs song to me. It's so hard to put in words. Bc it's just about this. Love and dreams and wanting to see the world together...

So many of my thoughts are just feels but I'll try explaining. Also amateur translation so beware

The first verses are like. Not anything in specific. It's just about the day passing well, "moving forward like a good movie" (?). But smth about life as a movie (show/play). I'm pulling at strings here tho /silly

Now this is very Emu Ootori to me. Emu the innocent dreamer whose head is a bit in the clouds (feet not touching the "dirty ground", smth about her chasing her dreams and ideas without realising the hard/technical problems of it at first. If that makes sense). But also she loves and loves everything about the world and treats it with this kindness and excitement.

Also. Shao (and Miles = her grandpa). "Sorcerer and apprentice" team name. Yk, the whole magic/sorcerers imaginery

This feels like Tsukasa to me.

Tsukasa putting a bit of himself/his daily life & feelings into his roles to make them "whole" (that one verse is actually smth like "i merge them all together into something whole" but that sounds awkward so i went with "put tohether into one"). Also smth about living everyday to the fullest. Being happy and attached to the small things, appreciating each moment. Also smth smth sekai is created from his feelings and its reflecting "crumbs" of his life and all

Also "The sun shines FOR ME" is just very tsukasa. That one "sun shining through the foliage as if a natural spotlight made to shine for me" line from his initial 1☆ . But also just his optimistic look on life

"WE'LL BUILD PYRAMIDS OUT OF DREAMS" DO I EVEN NEED TO EXPLAIN THIS. WXS DREAM OF MAKING THE WORLD SMILE AND MAKING SHOWS WITH THAT FEELING IN MIND. ALL THEY ACHIEVED SO MUCH TOGEYHER THANKS TO THAT DETERMINATION AND THOSE DREAMS. WXS SUPPORTING EACH OTHER'S DREAMS AND GETTING BETTER TOGETHER TO AIM FOR GREATER THINGS. (You could probably throw in smth about Wonderland sekai to this again too)

The last line is just. This is so OHE coded. "Open your eyes to the world", there's so much outside of PXL to learn from, so much they can see and do and it's all worth seeing. Freelancing opens so many gates for them and each of the 4 of them stand to learn something from it, even Emu

AND "we'll visit it together" OYHDHDHDJJ.... ITS NOT THE SAME IF THEYRE NOT ALL TOGETHER... THEM ASKING EMU TO COME ALONG WITH THEM, HER BROTHERS CONVINCING HER TO DO IT, THEM GOING AROUND FREELANCING NOW ALL TOGETHER AND HDJSHDHD DO YOU GET ME...

Zmęczone twarze wagą nocy [Faces tired by the weight of the night] (?? This line is very ambiguous)

Trochę się boją, stawiając niepewny krok [They're a bit scared, taking hesitant steps]

This is not as obvious to me as the other lines but. Nene. Nene's determination and hard work even if it's tiring, even if she sees how much she has to catch up to, even with the weight of the others' skills feeling overpowering sometimes

Even despite her old failures and hesitance, and her timid nature, and how scared she was at first – she's still moving forward and getting better. First with robonene, but then actually taking her own steps on the stage and then keeping on improving and shining with new confidence and her beautiful voice, and also reaching out to others more experienced to talk and learn – step by step, not without hesitance, but surely she's moving forward

Zestaw myśli, nawet te dzikie i szalone [A set of thoughts, even the wild and crazy ones]

Tak już jest gdy wywijasz sumienie ma drugą stronę [That's just what it's like when you turn conscience upside down] (oh god idk this line is hard even in Polish)

RUI. RUI AND HIS MIND AND CREATIVITY. HIS THOUGHTS AND IDEAS THAT CAN GET CRAZY AND SOMETIMES EVEN DANGEROUS. But "even" those thoughts because in the end they're always included in the shows wxs make. There's "a set of thoughts" and ideas of wxs that they brainstorm around for each new performance and there's always a place for him to go wild a bit with his insane stunts (the ones that are doable ofc but. Still)

The conscience bit is. Very difficult even in Polish. But smth about Rui and his crazy comments and ideas and all and playful ""threats"" but still always making sure that everything he makes is safe and very apologetic whenever something does happen. Also smth about selfishness and blaming himself for wanting to keep this even though that's.. not smth worthy to be berating himself over. And very valid. Idk how to explain this

A słońce wysyła szczęście do ciebie, patrzy w twoją twarz [And the sun sends you happiness[/luck], looking at your face]

Wxs determination despite setbacks, they keep on going until they can achieve what they need to. They don't break down completely and give up, maybe not exactly "calm" but like. Calm in the sense of comfortable and decided on their dreams and unswayed by the mistakes and failures y'know

The sun part is just wholesome. And again smth about happiness being their theme. Could be wxs miku/vsingers? Kind of looking after them

Then there's chorus again and THEN

Tsukasa is the first line, like, because of this whole "this day is FOR ME" but also again. living every day to the fullest. Doing whatever he feels he wants and needs to do and using every chance for his dream (just. Look at the new 4koma. What is this man doing. Why is he training at school 😭) and even with his reputation as a weirdo he doesn't let that get to him too much, and he lives his life almost like a show even when nobody's looking. Idk how to say this hahd hope u get me

THE SECOND IS SO RUI TO ME. The line there is kind of like. The day won't end as "normal"/ the day won't end casually = I'll make sure the day will be unique and extraordinary before it ends bc every dsy deserves to be unusual. Rui with his amazing ideas and ways to spice up both shows and everyday life. Just look at what he does at kamiyama 😭 this man cannot survive a day without making it a unique show and doing smth insane again

AND EMU OUTHJJ. THE PLAYGROUND FOR HER. THE WORLD IS HER PLAYGROUND BC SHE HAS FUN AND LOVES IT. BUT ALSO PXL. AND THE WONDER STAGE. Her precious places that she will protect even if she's the only one fighting for them. Even if they're important "just for her". But also later wxs doing their best to put her ideas and dreams into life in shows and protecting what she holds dear. THE NIGHTSHOW. do you hear me

Now Nene might feel least defined, like it was just to complete them all saying something. And that is partly true HAHSHHA but also. Wxs being her "city of sun". You'd think someone like her wouldn't really get along with these hyperactive and annoying and weird /aff people and yet she loves them. They showed her the way and let her stand on stage and brighten her days. She gets annoyed with them but also she always has that fond or exasperated smile with them. Like, the sun can be annoying. It can get hot or too bright and make you complain, just like wxs can get loud and hyperactive and crazy and make her eyeroll and groan half the time. But we still bask in the sun and its still so gloomy without it. And even if its so annoying sometimes we still love it and depend on it and appreciate it. And thats also how nene is with wxs. Do you see this

Anyway. I'm normal about this song. I love how soft it is, how happy and warm it feels to listen to it. And that's what wxs is to me too. They love each other so much I need them to blow up
