Sorry for so many asks its like 1am and I'm just like so feral about your interpretation of William. You are are so correct about him all the time and hes such a silly little guy

How do you think William went about the murders? Did he try to be sorta detached from it or did he amp up the villian persona?

Do you imagine the 5 missing children all were killed in one day or over the course of a week? Canon seems to support both options a bit I think , but more leaning towards all at once I think, it's been a bit since I checked

How many murders did your William commit? That tends to vary alot depending on what theories and who you ask.

Oooh how'd he go about luring them? Was it just a simple "hey I have a surprise for you come follow me" or did he gain their trust longer than that or did the SL animatronics do all the work for him. Did he just target random kids or did he have a method for picking them. Speaking of, did he plan at all which animatronics they were going to possess?

How'd he avoid getting caught? Did he?

Hmm lots of murders questions let's go off topic. If he had to own a pet what animal would he prefer. Like he def LOVES rabbits. But hmm, they like, need more work and attention than a cat. And William doesn't seem like he'd be great at that

As a children's entertainer, did he often try to throw fun birthday parties for his kids? Oh hmm, why was Evan having his party at Fredbear's if he's so scared of animatronics? Bc he obviously does care about Evan. Ive personally always interpreted that as like, William being too busy + recovering from the springlocks to like, plan something proper but there's honestly so many ways you could think of the why, so I'd love to hear your interpretation!

i am personally fond of making him as unhinged as possible in that regard. if im going to be obsessed with a cartoonish murderer im going to want him to get fucking silly with it alright im not gonna make him do some boring shit like sedating his victims before killing them or something <- targeted toward the novels

there is a LOOOOOOOT of inconsistency in "canon" sources. (canon in quotations because anything aside from the books is dubiously canon. half of the time i feel like im in the warrior cats fandom again with how people cannot AGREE ON ANYTHING OR REMEMBER INFORMATION) it makes sense for it to be done tastefully considering this is kind of a sensitive topic, being. murder. and all. theres less details about it. however, i have issues and problems and need to know everything about him or else ill DIE. BADLY

while the idea of him doing them all at once has been the agreed upon thing for...pretty much the past eight and a half years, i find the idea of them being one at a time more interesting. going about it strategically and with some level of premeditation makes for good contrast with charlies murder, which was very clearly a crime of passion. by creating more stark contrast between these events, it makes charlies death feel more significant, generally more fucked up, and more ... Out of character, for william. It makes it feel like it really MEANT something, if everyone else's deaths were executed in a way that really shows the difference in motivation/intent :3

i personally think that charlie was the first death, and was motivated by williams envy & resentment regarding henry since shes his daughter. Very heat of the moment, fueled by hatred for her father; swift, i imagine. probably just had a pocket knife in his car or something. i think this event is what makes william realize he enjoys killing; as much as i'd like to paint him in the most pathetic light possible, i can't imagine hed kill children for the sake of feeling powerful. obliterating charlie out of obsessive gay jealousy obviously probably made him feel like he had power over henry, which im sure he adored, but i generally think hes in it for something else.

I refuse to believe anything but the idea that he loves the thrill of it. I make note of this because of how he reacts to being springlocked in the novels, where he was sort of drunk on the pain, and was having far too much fun with it. That, and because he's an entertainer, a performer, he probably enjoys excitement quite a lot. He loves big reveals, he loves drama, he loves reactions! I think that can be applied to the murders as well :3 I've said all this, while leaving out my best supporting piece of evidence, being that, in canon, for Cassidy's death, he kidnapped her and beat her to death. With a shovel. So. Seems a bit over the top. To Me. I dont know. Like if he wasnt. Having fun with it then. Yknow.

My favorite favorite favorite thing about afton is how he just sort of sloooooowly unraveled over time. And even when he DID snap, there was sort of a gradual worsening as time went on; I dont think he WANTED to like killing, but he did! And eventually, he gave in to that desire to get as violent as possible. He stopped caring, and he started to enjoy it, instead of pushing it away.

Its also important to note I do think there was only one missing childrens incident. While I wouldnt put it past william to do it twice just to shut down multiple freddys locations out of spite, there isnt really a lot of evidence to suggest that he killed at the fnaf 2 location; everything that goes on there can be explained by other means we already have.

So, Susie goes first!!!!!!! By this point, I firmly believe that Elizabeth has already died, charlie has obviously already died, and Henry has forbade William from ever setting foot on the premises ever again, but he gets away with it by wearing the spring bonnie suit. Killed her dog, apparently. Prick. Anyways, chica/susie states that she was the first to go and has apparently 'seen everything'. I don't take this as necessarily meaning that he did everything at once, especially since we know he Fucking Kidnapped Cassidy, but i do believe all of them were dragged into that saferoom at some point. oh, yeah, i also think its the saferoom because

employees only really go in there if theyre literally bleeding out from the springlock suits, and the suits were decommissioned when william used them, meaning no employee would have ANY reason to be in the safe room. the phone guy states the spring bonnie animatronic was 'noticeably moved', then reminds people they arent supposed to be used, which supports me thinking william used the suits when employees werent supposed to use them + means nobody regularly fucks with the suits that ARE in there in the first place if this is a notable event he has to point out

animatronics dont know it exists. not in their programming. what are they gonna do, tell his fucking mom

i dont know why im explaining why the saferoom would be the best option i just see that nobody seems to agree on this for some reason

easier to do it in a room nobody can access rather than dragging them outside while theyre alive and/or concious

makes sense for him to know all this since he used to own the franchise

anyway, he probably didn't have too much trouble getting them back there since he had the suit on, but he also knows what hes doing in general. even if he werent wearing the suit i dont doubt he'd have been able to pull it off. hes a childrens entertainer. probably told them he had candy or cake for them, or some sort of surprise, maybe lied to them and said their mom or dad was in trouble and they needed to follow him, that kind of thing, standard fuckin. kidnapping behavior i guess. as for selecting the victims, picking kids who were kindof off by themselves doing their own thing makes the most sense. i imagine thats the only thought he put into it

while id LOVE for each death to be as bloody as possible, im not sure william could really afford that, given the setting he was in. hard to get too messy when youre in a public establishment; even if it was unlikely anyone would ever come into the saferoom, its probably better to make cleaning up the evidence a relatively easy process. i really. really really really like the idea of him using an axe for some reason? i know it was popularized because of the die in a fire music video, and would not be pertaining to how he killed anybody, but im attached to it got DAMNIT. im kind of contradicting myself because axe murdering is like an inherently messy process but yknow. maybe that was just one of em. it doesnt seem outlandish to me that there could be an axe in the saferoom- Like a fireaxe, yknow? i can imagine him having a knife knocked out of his hands, panicking and grabbing that. thats fun. i like that one

actual timeframe though. ummmmm. definitely not all in one day, but having them be throughout a week seems too long. having kids go missing in One Place over the course of a WEEK feels like it would be giving the place ample time to get shut down briefly. i give him 3 days ABSOLUTE maximum. maybe two.

initially i think he wanted the sister location animatronics to do the work for him, but after liz dies he doesnt wanna deal with them because. grief, and after killing charlie he processes that he doesnt mind getting his hands dirty i guess. so theres that. the sister location animatronics never really got the chance to function how he wanted them to because circus babys pizza world never opened

as for how he didnt get CAUGHT, there just...Wasnt enough evidence to convict him. DNA testing was introduced in 1986, one year after the murders occurred, and i suppose any crime scenes wouldve been wiped clean by the time forensics couldve been involved. It's definitely a situation where a lot of people just KNEW he did it, but it fell flat in a court of law- Henry, of course, would be one of those people who knew. That, and the fact fazbear ent is very scummy when it comes to those sort of things, prioritizing their brand over individual people. Even if Henry knew william did it, he'd probably want to crack down on people continuing to pursue his arrest; itd be bad for the company, after all! having their name attached to this forever? having one of their FOUNDERS attached to it forever? absolutely not. hed know there was no way theyd imprison william, and dragging the ordeal out would just cause damage to the label. henry may be better than william, but he is not a beacon of all that is right and good in the world. remember this forever

anyways um! im a firm believer in the idea he'd have a bunny. i can understand where ur coming from w the 'theyd be too much work to take care of' sentiment, but he had 3 kids, and a bunny is still less work than 3 kids. admittedly, he hated one of them and the other two died, but YKNOW its not like hes a complete stranger to taking care of things. michael lasted a long time. technically was only tangentially williams fault he died. cat would be good too

i do think he'd probably want to plan things for the kids as well, which is demonstrated by evans birthday party. i think at this point in the timeline he was just very, very caught up in his work, as shown by him watching them remotely through the camera system in his house + talking to evan via the fredbear plushie. so generally i agree w you on that, i dont have much to add :]

For some context there are more than 300 sign languages in our world and with the addition of the undersea I imagine mana could probably have double that amount. anyway here we go:

there’s the Capital Sign Language which is the one everyone’s “supposed” to know. however, in practice, it’s not as wide spread and people only really learn it if they think they’ll be spending significant time in the capital. so people on the outskirts of the capital would prob use that one

there’s a much more common “Traveller’s/International Sign Language” but again - only really fully learnt if people think they’ll go travelling and is probably a lot more common around countries(?)/cities/towns/etc that are near each other. (can’t remember if you’ve talked about it but I imagine there’s a large population cluster around the capital and then the further away you get the more it dwindles out.) caspian’s tribe for eg probably only knows their specific one

^there is probably some overlap in these -> for eg BSL and Auslan use the same alphabet and have other overlaps (<- although I’m not sure how Much exactly: I only know bits of Auslan) so basically: places close together where people would be more likely to talk to each other/move to those other places etc etc would probably have some overlap in their particular sign languages <- I would say Traveller’s/International Sign Language mostly came about from that and is just more of an attempt to make an “official” version

even within the overlap people have their own dialects though. for eg: auslan has two main dialects! -> northern and southern. and these signs can be fairly different sometimes

i imagine the oversea and the undersea wouldn’t really have similar sign languages though. considering they don’t interact with each other much?

if gillion knew sign language he’d know the Capital’s sign language and definitely wouldn’t know the same one chip does which is probably a pirate’s/oversea traveller’s/International sign language (I wouldn’t be surprised if pirates had their own sign language considering all the other culture they have and that seems like the kind of one he’d have been taught)

also! since the four corners of the sea are just? completely cut off from each other? apart from Allport at least -> I feel like they would also all have very distinct sign languages that don’t have much overlap. but each corner has overlap within itself. if that makes sense o(-(

anyway here we go! I’m still learning a lot about sign language culture (specifically auslan’s) but I thought I’d apply what I do know to mana since I feel like it wouldn’t make sense for there to be One Single Sign Language esp considering how many different sign languages we have in our own world

I HAVE talked about the undersea capital being in a cluster yea yea. Does the capitals sign langauge build off of other sign languages in the undersea or is it a completely new one and every other one was Based off of the capitals? I'm assuming its a bit more of the former so that its somewhat understood to certain extent by people who dont know it. OR is it more of the... I forgot what its called exactly but its a sign language type that is more for education and understanding spoken/written language rather than actual sign language? Is it more of that?

Oh and if theres specific language/travellers signs are there signs more designated to people of certain work that were brought in or no ?

so! that one lowkey tea filled meme i posted got some responses to go off ig so thats what im gna do. i have negative experience in making structured arguments, so if some of my stupid shit doesnt make sense, im sorry lmao! rant under the cut.

ok. im gna be talking about shiro, adam, and allura, and why i dislike the fandoms response. if you didnt kno already, sdcc showed trailer stuff and revealed on twitter that shiro DID have a significant other named adam, and they broke up before kerberos. im not super informed on this, but the fandom seems to have taken it as uh they were engaged or maybe were bfs and then broke up bc kerberos?? and then shiro has a disease?? idfk man listen. im gonna just be listing some little points but theres ya background lol

1. shiro being gay!

the team told us that shiro did have a significant other, and that his sexuality can be interpreted as bi, gay, whatever. and im so fucking down with that??? ive been w lgbt hcs for most if not all the vld characters, including shiro!! he was always bi in my mind, for allura or matt or whoever just bc chemistry. but this influx of mlm shiro just feels... weird. not saying you cant hc him as gay or whatever, but this one tweet about this one stranger that we’ve literally never heard about once is whats setting it off? i lov lov LOV ,my gay brothers n sisters, but damn if it doesnt feel like bi erasure lol!!!!! im not saying everyone who posts gay shiro is a dirty exclusionist but it really feels like we out here, ignoring that bisexual people exist and are precious n beautiful. idk.

2. allura and girls in general

so. this might be a touchy topic. but i ALWAYS see this shit. boys and mlm couples in general always recieve more attention and love than girls and wlw ships, or just het ships in general. and im not tryna be That Het but jesus christ! i see so many of my fave girls get these years or seasons of development w someone, only to have it overshadowed by one tweet, or one video, or one anything. im really sick and tired of seeing people just go nuts over a pairing that we haven’t really even seen yet, and completely overshadow one thats so well developed and healthy. hhhnhmnh.

3. shallura in general!

as i said before, shallura has gotten seasons of constant development. theres ALWAYS something there for us, and i’d say we’re pretty fuckn lucky!! shallura has parallels with two canon couples in the universe, matching themes, colors, its just really apparent to me that theyre endgame!! or, were- idk where the crew is going with this. but anyway, the introduction of adam, even though the crew has told us theyd been thinking about it for a while, feels so rushed. almost exactly like matts arrival, but worse. yall know how hard shallura has had to fight to be a popular ship? it wasn’t so bad in the beginning, but it still kind of sucked being second to klance. then matt came along, and shatt became a thing, and shallura went under the water yet again. we’ve been pretty steady, but this whole adam thing has just dropped the popularity, and i dont even know why. we know nothing about adam other than his appearance and that he and shiro were a couple. its either this fandom has a PHAT distaste for allura, or just shallura. i dont know, but its jus. annoying. a bunch of the popular shallura blogs are being really gracious and nice about it, but shadam fans seem to be jumping on that opportunity to erase allura and shiros relationship completely and go back to shipping their uwu gaybies!! im willing to give shadam a chance, but im just displeased now because i feel like the fandom is way overreacting. we know nothing about him.

Season 3 aka DIgimon Tamers is still a solid series, and I still vividly remember watching season 4 on TV when I was slightly older and finding it weird but cool (4 was where they could actually like combine with their digimon)

Tips for Applying to College Undecided

When you first start applying for college, everyone says to look for super specific programs for your major. Aim for the biggest and best. Only apply to schools that specialize only in your exact field.

You don’t have to know all that. I mean, don’t get me wrong, if you know exactly what you want to do for the rest of your life right now, go for it! Aim for that specialized school, make it into that prestigious program!! More power to you! But don’t make yourself feel bad if you have no idea what you want to do.

Personally, I knew what I wanted to do as a career. My path, however, was very very specific, and I only found four schools that even offered it as a major, so I broadened my horizons. You don’t need to know your exact career. If you have an inkling of an idea of what you want to do, roll with it. But we’ll get back to this.

Say you’re completely undecided. No idea. Here’s how you start.

Open a Common App account. It sounds self-explanatory, but it’s extremely important. Get the general stuff filled out and finished.

Skip the essay for now. Start looking at and thinking about prompts, but don’t write it until later. Just get an idea. 90% of the time people spend on their essays is proofreading. It took my half an hour- tops- to write mine. It’ll come to you.

For the last two years colleges across the country have been sending you promotional emails and things in the mail. Stop just deleting them and throwing them away. Start skimming them. I’m serious. Skim. Look through the list of majors, and if a single one sounds interesting read the rest of the pamphlet. If not, toss it. If it’s an email, go to their site and do it. It doesn't matter how great a college sounds if theres nothing they can offer you academically.

Most of these pamphlets sound exactly the same. They’re gonna get old and annoying pretty fast. You don’t have to read all of them. If you have a certain area or region you’re aiming for, look at addresses first. (So if you wanna go to school in North Carolina and the address says Delaware you can probably just toss it. That being said, if it says South Carolina, you should still consider it unless you want the original state for in-state tuition. Otherwise, keep your mind open.)

A lot of the things they’re sending you have vouchers to put in your application for free. Those are a blessing. Use them.

Almost all colleges use Common App, so make sure you check the site so that you don’t end up filling out ten unnecessary applications.

You don’t have to apply for a certain number of colleges. Some people apply for three. Some apply for eleven. I know a girl who applied for thirty. Just remember that even if you don’t have to pay for application fees, you have to pay to send test scores. They don’t give you vouchers for those. It adds up.

Eventually you’ll pick some sort of field to focus. You may not be sure about it, but it’s a start. Start looking at colleges with good programs in this area.

It doesn’t matter that you’re undecided. I’m serious. Everyone is secretly undecided. Almost no one knows what they want to do at seventeen. People change their major all the time. Even adults with established careers change their mind. Just breathe.

Make sure you talk to the people you want to write your rec letters early on. This really goes for anyone, but it’s really important that you ask them sooner rather than later. Chances are you aren’t the only person they’re writing a letter for.

Visit colleges. Visit as many as you want. Visit more than you have to. You can go to visit campus on the college you swear you’re gonna go to and not even end up applying (like I did) or you can visit a college you swear you’re going to hate and by the end of the day be ready to put in your deposit (again, like I did).

You don’t have to say undecided on your application. If you chose a maybe field, use that. This doesn’t commit you to that major unless they offer you a specific scholarship.

There is no disadvantage to applying undecided.

Apply earlier. Finish everything before the deadline. Finish before the early action deadlines are even due, just to be done with it. That way you aren’t rushing and half-assing it the night before. If you want to apply for another college later, go for it!

Know all your deadlines. Make sure you know the difference between early action and early decisions. At most colleges these are different, and early action just gives you acceptance earlier, while early decision commits you to the college at acceptance. Some colleges do not differentiate and if you do early action you’re committed. Do your research on this.

There’s no significant advantage in doing early action/decision. It shows the college you’re serious about attending, but even if it does raise your chances it’s not going to make or break you if you don’t.

Once you started getting accepted places, visit. Visit again. Do an over-night. You’ll know if you want to go.

There’s going to be campuses that you go to and find no problem with. Those same campuses you may leave knowing you don’t want to go there. You know where you belong, don’t let anyone else choose for you.

Go where the money takes you. If you can’t pay for the big-name college, but the small liberal arts college gave you a huge scholarship, unless the first school is going to filter feed you directly into the exact program you want by the end guaranteed (like Mercy Hearst and the CIA) go to the latter school. You’re paying for the name. You’re education is going to be just as good anywhere else.

Before you even apply, and even after, go to college fairs. Colleges are gonna send representatives to your school. Go talk to them. You’ll not only learn a lot, but you could open up some opportunities by making a good first impression. Some school in other states may even pay for you to fly out and visit campus.

Talk to people! My mom is a college professor, so she was a huge help to me. Talk to graduated seniors from your school. They all have knowledge and advice. They may know of a school that you never thought of that ends up being perfect for you. They may go to the college that’s currently your top choice, and what they tell you you may not like. Talk to your teachers. The people around you want to best for you, take advantage of that.

Once accepted, make a chart. Chart out what they offered you in money, chart where they are, chart the total tuition, chart what they specialize in/what major you requested if you did loosely choose one. That chart is so helpful, since you’ll have everything laid out in front of you.

This kinda turned into general application stuff, and in kind of a weird order, but trust me it’s good to know.

Just remember that being undecided is ok! Everyone goes at their own pace, you’ll figure it out eventually!

QUESTION 1. What is your favorite scene in the comic so far and why?

1) Spense's backstory for how he came along is probably my top fav? It was short, concise, but also revealed the personality of him, King, and Queen all in one go that I feel has definitely helped develop the characters in a way to really flesh them out further and has me curious where it's all going to go now what we know whose 'stakes' lie where. /wording yay.

yeah i liked how spense's backstory was executed. cause at the end it didnt just develop spense, it developed the world, other characters, and so forth. which is not usually something you get with backstory so i liked seeing backstory actually further the story in other ways without it suddenly being a story about spense.

my fave scene is the one where pin is being kidnapped for the king and then she just 180s her opinion cause of the evidence being in her face and then she kicks the fairfolk out. i not only enjoyed seeing a character who wasnt stubborn and basically went "this is my life now," but i enjoyed how many things we learn about her personality from this single instance (like the fact that for someone who didnt believe, she sure knew a lot of those fae rules).

i feel some of it is kind of playing it up. i mean tbf most of the characters are kids or the fae. the only adults have been i think a ghost and pin's mom for 5 seconds? so in a sense it could be like a group thing of playing it up. cause kids do that too. play pretend in large groups.

not to say i think it is pretend. just the noir thing i could see still as the kids just hamming up their weirdo lives

I rather liked that flashback scene with Penelope "Pin" (I wonder where the nickname is from) going off on the town history, being very suspicious of the founder. Thought it rang true to her character.

QUESTION 2. Pineburg is not just filled with the supernatural, but numerous human characters up to their own things. Do you believe that Iola is truly on Pin’s side now? Alternatively, do you think Iola might betray Pin in the future (and if so, what for)? Do you believe that Riley will overcome his addiction, or might he find some other way to get Fruit? Besides withdrawal, what long term consequences do you think Riley might suffer from his past usage of Fruit? Will Iola and Riley be a boon to Pin’s detective work, or are they going to end up becoming burdens? Also, do you think it’s significant Pin doesn’t know what her mother does for a living? What role might her mother play in regards to events going on in the town?

I read from 100 to the current page so I probably missed a lot. I did get confused. Best part I saw would be that whole backstory to Penn's ancestor. Most interesting character stuff.

Yeah, that fruit thing really threw me when it first came up. Oh, which reminds me, another scene I liked visually was when Pin got sucked into the other place and there were just all these street signs floating in the air. Great callback, how things made sense later (like the fruit).

2. I believe Iola is on Pin's side as long as her revenge is being sated by the Queen, and the Queen seems interested in Pin if just a little bit. I'm waiting for Riley to drip back into addiction, sadly. I don't believe this will be something he can 100% beat without something to literaly cure it <_<; Magic n' all that. On Pin's mom: With what's all been hinted with the family I wouldn't be surprised if she tries to keep away from Pin fo rher safety due to what all they're wrapped up in. Sure her father might have been the link but who's to say she wasn't aware/told some shit?

spense might of been a special case though being a bird and all. and tbf it seemed everything with spense happened in one day? and while magic is involved, you dont usually get addicted in one day. at least in a way that comes with withdrawal

IDK man - magical addiction might just wreck the body - though usually depending on lore Fae magic is pervasive but slow, often with intent to make permanent damage. But, that is kinda hinted too with how Riley describes how the fruit tastes and what it's like, and how eventually that goes away and what you're left with. I'd say that at least has shown a long term addiction.

TO BE FAIR - did anyone notice all the street signs were gone too? <_< How much do we know can be seen by others? Her sickness might be seen as lesser and just like, exhaustion. Though at least a doctor's visit c'mon. If my kid can't walk for a few days she's goin LOL

(I'd also want to know wtf my kid is doing to being so exhausted but it seems like Mom is pretty... not on the ball about her kid)

The Spense thing on one day? I thought it took a bit of time to get hooked, then he was with the Queen for a little bit too. Though he was unhooked in a day, I grant. Riley needs to find a fruit substitute.

Well, the whole town was exhausted for a while, what with passing out while walking their dogs and things.

Incidentally, I didn't immediately clue in that the King was the graffiti artist, and that's how he was doing his thing. Only dawned on me when the shadow thing came back up.

Not sure if that's a me thing.

but i guess it depends all about what mom is going. like what if shes fighting the forces of evil and if she stops everyone in the town dies? i could understand just kind of hoping pin is fine for the sake of the multitude of other ppl to save.

Some fae lore falls into a veil-like magic - which I htink may be applied here. It's hinted Prudence had the ability to "notice things" and this system has been used a lot - basically, you see what should be there because you know it should be there, you can't see the magical reality because your brain either wouldn't handle it, or you haven't been brought into the magical influence yet.

QUESTION 3. Much of the comic’s conflicts are driven by the supernatural Faeries around Pineburg. Do you believe we’ve seen the last of the King, or do you think he’s planning some sort of comeback to once again take the town? What do you make of the King’s ominous warning before he left? Do you believe that the Queen is relatively benign, or is she up to something considering the sudden overgrowth of nature? Could it have something to do with the boon Iola asked the Queen for in order to get rid of the King? If the Queen is up to something, what might her goals be? What other rules of the Faeries might trip Pin and other characters up in the future? Have we seen the last of the Fruit with the King’s departure, or will it come back somehow? Lastly, what do you think the Faeries’ interest with Pineburg is specifically?

What do you think Pin will have to do to be able to free Prudence? Do you think she’ll have to consult the King, or might someone else have the answers? Do you think Prudence is being honest about just wanting to rest, or do you think Prudence is going to betray Pin after being set free? If the latter, what do you think Prudence’s ultimate goals are? Additionally, do you think Pin will be able to maintain a good relationship with her shadow, or will her shadow attempt to leave to be her own person? How might the split with her shadow continue to help or hurt her?
