After the whole dragon event and their lives finally settled down, do you think Kaneki would get something for touka? The rings that Touka gave him is something that was precious to Touka - and personally I think Kaneki would want to give Touka something in return! (But I have no idea what - normally rings, but they already have rings) - what do you think? :)

!!! this is such a cute idea. i feel like kaneki would love to get something for her, i could see it being something on his mind since the underground, and maybe all throughout his recovery and as they start their new life. since kaneki likes books...maybe something that’s like a scrapbook/photo album of things that he collects of the first year or so of their home life & being with ichika ✨ like photos of her at different months of life, the different recipes they try to make for her, their new cafe’s first dollar, cut-out coffee bag labels with their reviews handwritten alongside that he painstakingly remembered to write in secret after asking her what her opinion was...

i think the bonus appeal of this kind of gift is that since touka has had to live life on the run/in secret, she may not have too much memorabilia of growing up, or things like photos — so being able to collect and cherish things like that now... 🥲💖
