I fk hate how something so trivial which should be their right is paid with sweat and blood and live, and he's HAPPY for it!

It's so goddamn painful and sad i can't find it in me to be feeling those things, i am burning with rage like KUMA MY MAN! If you ain't gonna be at least upset about the whole thing, I'd hate the wgo for the both of us.

The blackbeard option would be boring tbh like how would that further the plot in an interesting way?

I mean you're not wrong, like I feel like Blackbeard might be a very realistic option, I'd definitely be far more interested in either Dragon or Cross Guild showing up (former because of the emotional build-up already being there, latter purely for the chaos also I want to see my husband)

But to be fair, Blackbeard showing up could progress his sideplot

Like I had completely forgotten a part of this, so to recap; Blackbeard wants to make Fullalead a proper country that's actually a part of the World Government (like so they could participate in Reverie etc). To do this he attempted kidnapping Koby in the hopes that he could hold him hostage, only returning the marine if the WG made Fullalead a country. Of course, because Koby is a SWORD, this didn't pan out for Blackbeard, and Koby has now escaped.

But now, Blackbeard has gotten Garp in his possession. The great hero of the Marines. Like he may be retired, but Garp is and has been an inspiration for the Marines for decades, training countless people and saving many more. With Cross Guild already taking out Marines left-and-right, their morale must be in absolute shambles. Losing Garp could be absolutely devastating for the World Government right now.

So, BB could show up with Garp in shackles, demanding for Fullalead to become a country and they get their precious hero back, OR BB and his crew will not only sink the Marine fleet but also kills Garp.

If Saturn agrees to BB's demands, Garp gets to live and BB becomes a king of a country that's now under the World Government's protection. The Emperor essentially becomes a Turbo Shichibukai. He also gets access to Marijoa and depending on what the fucker is planning, That Could Be Bad. Knowing Saturn though, this could be under some kind of a condition like Blackbeard having to first kill Luffy, Kuma and the Vegapunks (if they escape Egghead as planned), which could make things interesting if Blackbeard like. Agreed and proceeds to chase after the Strawhats.

Or, possibly more likely, Saturn refuses, because Garp is old and has technically retired already, there will be new Marine Heroes who will take his place soon enough. And BB joining the World Government will not benefit the WG in any way, and when Blackbeard joined the Shichibukai just to pull off one hell of a stunt by abusing that position, yeah, Saturn could see BB as untrustworthy (and rightfully so)

What will Blackbeard do then?

Like he could proceed to sink the Marine fleet along with Kizaru and Saturn (or at least attempt to), or if those two alone seem scary enough, Blackbeard might just have to give up and flee (maybe with Caribou). But what is he going to do with Garp then? And this is where we remember that Cross Guild had put a bounty on Garp's head. Blackbeard may not be able to get anything from the WG from Garp, but killing him out-right could be a bit of a waste, couldn't it? So why not ask Cross Guild if they're going to pay for the old man's head as they've advertised and see if they wanted to have a nice little date to exchange the goods And I have done some wild speculation on how that could go down- the speculation was from late November so I doubt this is how it could go down exactly but you get the idea

Point being, if Blackbeard shows up Egghead, I will personally be like "not now Blackbeard, there's more important shit going down". But him showing up could actually lead to some interesting things going down, not immidiately, but down the line
