oh god the knee high converse price gouging thing OK SO this alll depends on location BUT usually checking ebay works to get off brand but still good ones like this (uk link sorry it might ship wherever tho or there might be a local one) n sometimes sellers on apps like depop or Vinted *do* list them cheap you gotta check regularly and sometimes it’s just dumb luck.

I have bought 7 pairs of longverse (for me and to give to friends over nearly 3 years lmao dw I’m not hoarding them I think I have like 4 pairs left and one I literally have worn holes into) and never paid more than like £25 for them with the cheapest being a plain black pair I got for £10. THAT SAID this was in 2020 and the price gouging by resellers has only gotten worse since then so there probably won’t be £10 ones but I did get purple on brand longverse for a friend for like £20 this year so it IS possible

Here is the cheapest pair of on brand longverse I can find rn (£40 UK size 4) for example you might also have luck with bidding on eBay but idk a lot about that :)
