now that natlan is out it's tsaritsa yearning hours again because i am one nation closer to either being horribly disappointed or foaming at the mouth!

creator!reader w a little side of conflicted tsaritsa is such good food I can't not yap about it. a woman who has dedicated so much of her life to severing herself from "love" of all kinds and succeeding and. just being so confident that when she meets you she's bitter and angry and mean. because she can't stand you. she isn't supposed to love yet you worm your way into her heart anyway and you don't even know it.

especially in smth like an imposter au. she tells herself your just a tool for her to use but your treated like the Divine you really are, pampered and spoiled every step. tells herself it means nothing when she indulges you – let's you hold her hand in private, eventually let's you move aside the veil, just a little.

and she hates it. hates how easy it is to let you break down the ice she's built up for years.

all you do is smile and she feels like she can't breathe. because despite how violently she rejects love in all aspects, it always bleeds through eventually. she despises it but the way you brush your thumbs over her cheeks makes her bitter and warm and it infuriates her to no end.

she hates you and she loves you and she can't stand you and if you were ever taken from her she'd destroy every inch of teyvat if she had to go get you back.

and ironically enough I think she'd also be the one to initiate any first kiss. maybe she's still trying to convince herself it's just a fluke and itll make her realize it meant nothing, it means nothing. desperate to fix whatever you've done to her and instead it just makes it worse.

a horrible mess of a woman who gave up on love just to be confronted with it when she finally accepted it's absence.

God, when you draw them cuddling, I'm always filled with such bittersweetness. I could cry over them. The soft glances and smiles, the tender but firm touches, the intimacy and joy of simply being close to each other... and knowing that it won't last, that it will be only a memory. Your turn!! Fave ahs character of all time and why AND if you’d fuck them!?!

This was soooo hard cause there is so many different characters love to analyze and break down throughout the series, but I settled on Lana Winters as my favourite.

That is a survivor, that’s the finalest of final girls ever. The fact she’s still alive and kicking by the end of Asylum is literally insane, my girl did not let the, break her.

Her story kind of traumatised me ngl Asylum made its characters suffer like no other season did, but that made the end where she leaves and swears to fucking end that place with her story so so so cathartic and satisfying. And like, little closeted me living in a very Christian place really needed to see this lesbian on screen, I genuinely think she changed something in my brain chemistry that then made me accept my own sexuality as a fact of life. I was just able to pull A LOT of relatability out of the things they put her through in this season and I guess she just stuck with me as a bad bitch who lived on anyway.

Overall I love Lana banana so much even though I will never rewatch this season because of how much it terrified me back then. But my queen conquered all of that 😌

My backstory for Frey in Dragon Age Origins is that she’s a city elf mage that was taken to the Circle so young she barely even remembers her life before, and that during her Harrowing she inadvertently ended up bound together with Mouse/the Pride Demon. She refuses to tell anyone that, though, because fuck the templars and the Chantry🖕🖕 She’s gonna handle it herself.

The demon is annoying, but not strong enough to best her, so they’re stuck in a stalemate of driving each other mildly crazy while she’s trying to deal with the fucking Blight. She’s the only one who can communicate with him, but some characters who are sensitive to that sort of thing can sense it, so some NPCs are extremely put off by Frey and even hostile toward her. Which is fine by her, because fuck ‘em. She doesn’t need the approval of anyone, especially dumbass humans she’s so lonely though pls she just wants some friends 😭

Jinbe probably grew up hearing all about the selkie goddess, so what was his reaction to the fact ussop was her reincarnation?

A lot about the selkie goddess was forgotten - most of what's remembered is remembered by monks, traditional people and the elderly. Jimbe heard about how there Was a selkie goddess, her name was Caethes and she buried the sun god's heart under the ocean. He didn't really look into it - even among fishmen and mermaids it's rare to meet a selkie in a lifetime, let alone for a selkie to have a safe space even among who should be their cousins (the money is just too good, the risk is just too great, the government would slaughter 1000 fishmen, women and children if it meant taking a single selkie alive, the fortunate of them could simply pretend a life that valuable wouldn't be systematically placed into a fate worse than death)

So Jimbe had never actually met a selkie, personally. He'd seen corpses before - or what was left of those bodies, after being used and beaten and flayed because their skin was worth entire countries and getting it fresh was "part of the fun". He thought at first that the crew owed Usopp, that he was traveling with them for protection in exchange for work or some other based on a debt they had to Usopp somehow. He didn't mean to but he just automatically fit Usopp into every stereotype he knew for selkies because he had no other reference. He learned better quickly, but he still had those thoughts at that time

Learning he was the reincarnation of Caethes was a shock, but so was discovering that enough of Nika's heart was left on the surface it could become a devil fruit, one smart enough to hide itself until Luffy forced it out. He knew logically it couldn't be proven - but Luffy's gear 5 bouncing over to Usopp, with hearts in his eyes, holding Usopp's hands with the softest smile and calling him Caethes so smoothly when Luffy had only attempted to pronounce it once. It was Nika, then, looking at the ghost of his love in Usopp's face. Jimbe was sure.

If Usopp was the reincarnation of the selkie god, Jimbe only hoped that meant the current selkie way of life was coming to an end

I think it’s so cool to see how different people interpret the same character. I write Sukuna very differently than you (I enjoy the sadism too much to ever let him be soft). And yet, I love the way you write him. Especially in Reverence. Your writing style is lovely and I appreciate how you take the time to flesh out the characters and their surroundings. I am very excited for part 2 <3

I was very hellbent on keeping Sukuna as in character as I can while writing Reverence, but that ending hurt me a bit too personally and I had to satisfy my inner softie with tons of unrelated Sukuna fluff to make up for it !! Soft Sukuna brings me soo much joy and I'll indulge in him no matter how ooc it is 😩

But really I love all the different iterations of him! I'm definitely gonna stalk your acc later to read your Sukuna stuff bc based off that strikethrough comment... I'm Interested 👀

'Hang by a Thread' is my favourite performance in the Genshin concert so far! I already loved that track but the lights etc. made it even cooler!
