#THE 217 WAS THERE ! That's his station!! & they were like “Nah he actually isn't even THAT important” !!!!!

I keep bracing myself to see that man so I don't get too big a jumpscare mid-episode, and yet...

I was prepared to see him in e2 until I realized that they were going to do the hangar stuff in the 3rd ep. I was so sure he was going to be there in e3 bc it MADE SENSE, more than him flying the plane, at least. He's a firefighter, that's a well-established fact. Also a well-established fact is that like, half the companies in the city had been dispatched to the emergency, well over 100 firefighters were on hand.

It would have been so easy to have him at the hangar or on the highway, even if it was just a quick shot before he moved back into the background.

Then, I was fully expecting to see him in a shot after the emergency was over (I literally sent a message to the Discord last night lamenting about the fact that we'd get a scene with him and Buck, or possibly even him, Buck & Eddie),

AND YET!!

His character was perfectly established to be a part of this emergency (even if not in the way that SOME PEOPLE had assumed he would be), but they didn't take any of the numerous opportunities to integrate him into the 118 or give him any further importance to the storyline and that's a choice.

Anyway uh, point of the story is I keep bracing myself to see him and then I keep winning anyway bc he's never there 🤣
