PC's Spider Lily Tattoo- This is where things with the meaning get tricky. Blue Spider Lilies symbolise the following: truth, calm energy, stability, freedom, and inspiration.

Though, the petals of a blue spider lily can change. In hotter climates, they become more pink symbolizing: Feminine love, beauty and passion. In cooler temperatures, they become more blue/purple. Here's a tidbit I think is pretty neat.

On an empty stalk [PC, in this case], the petals can only bloom in late August/early September. [Also, the time PC will turn into the anomaly.] [Because they got cursed on September 3rd/4th.]

Additionally: Campus Story: Towa offers you between two flowers:

Hydrangea- [Angry Towa] Meaning: In a negative sense frigidity, heartlessness. [Probably the general term in this since the flower wasn't shown to us.]

Oh wow! Yes that seems very like the laidly worm, and northumbrian worm myths in general. They've even got the worm being appeased with cows milk (why would dragons drink milk?)

It's not that old a story I think, late 1700s is first record of it (though claimed to be much older) and probably inspired by other tales including other northumbrian worm stories (like the lambton worm and sockburn worm).

Also the worm poisoning the land and preventing crops from growing makes me think of Glaurung, but that might just be coincidence.

Dude I'm really new to Tumblr and you're my fav artist out of everyone I've seen so far,,, what are your boundaries on inspiration/reference of your pieces? Askin cuz i know some artists prohibit/dislike pieces inspired by their art ^_^ I hope this makes sense lol sorry words aren't my strong suit

ooh that's a good question because i use a lot of inspirations myself!! so i totally get wanting to know these types of things

honestly, i'm totally fine with other ppl using my art as inspiration -- i'd be honoured, really. but ig if we're talking as a reference, as long as it's not a one-for-one copy or has the exact same poses, layout, etc, then i'm fine with it!

if you rly wanna redraw something of mine, however, just tag me and i'll enjoy that a lot :))
