Seokjin/Jin:

There’s no doubt in my mind that Jin would be devestated, he loved you so much and he would want you to be safe. More importantly, he would want to remind you of your self worth, and not only of how much he loved you - but how much you should love yourself.

‘Y/n babe, I’m not going to tell you to stop, that’s not my desicion. But please, please think about the reprecussions of this. Never forget how important you are.’

Yoongi/Suga:

I think Yoongi would be very understanding. But his heart would break slightly at the revelation of hearing about your self harm. He would sit down with you, and have a serious discussion at the causes, and potentional ways of helping to prevent this. Supporting you 100% of the way - when you needed it.

‘Thank you for telling me this babe, you know how much I care about you, how much I love you. That’s why I’m going to make sure you get all the professional help you want, I know I can’t solve this myself, but I most certainly can support you, and try to help as best as I can.’

Hoseok/J-hope:

Hobi would feel shocked, mainly because he wasn’t expecting it, slightly blaming himself for not knowing. He would constantly check up on you, even without you knowing. He would also suggest professional help, especially if he was worried the situation was getting out of hand.

‘I’m proud of you for opening up to me Y/n, whatever you need - I’m here. I’m not going to leave you, but I do think professional help is the best idea, unless you’re not comfertable with that okay?’

Namjoon/RM:

Namjoon would have saw it coming in a sense, you had always been precausious about what body parts were shown around him. But his heart still broke when he learned it was official. Like the others, he would also suggest help, but he would also make sure you knew that you could trust him. Also, that he always wanted you to express how you felt, because he cared about too much for you to go through this alone.

‘Please tell me next time you feel bad, I know I can’t help as much as I wish I could, but I can listen to you, and support you for aslong as you need okay? I love you and want nothing but the best for you.’

Jimin:

Jimins heart would ache even at the thought of you hurting yourself. He would reassure you of your worth all the time, also hoping that you would express how you felt to him in the process. He would never want you to feel alone, or that you couldn’t confide in him.

‘I promise you can tell me anything baby, if it’s important to you, it’s important to me. Please don’t feel as though I don’t care, I care and love you so much.’

Taehyung/V:

I think tae would be surprisingly mature about it. Not that the others weren’t, I just suspect that Taehyung would also sit you down, and have a long, serious talk about it all. Whatever that needed to be said, and he would listen to your every word. Knowing that he would do whatever he could to help you - in anyway that you wanted.

‘Is there anything I can do to help you? I promise I’ll do everything I can, I know that I can’t force you to stop, I can’t force you to do anything, but I hope that you know how much I care about you, and It would mean a lot to me if we tried to get through this together, if thats want you want babe.’

Jungkook:

I think that Jungkook would have a harder time grasping it, simply because he thought that you were so perfect, but obviously he would be mature enough to know it’s a lot more than that. He would do everything he could to make you feel secure and loved by him, also suggesting ways to help you, wanting nothing but the best for you, because that’s what you deserved.

‘Whatever I can do to help Y/n, I’ll do it. You’re so strong for telling me, and for doing as best as you can, and I hope that I can help you even more. All I ask if for you to let me, if that’s what you want. I love you too much for you to go through this alone.’

The Simpernaturals: First Date-Part 1!

You know the drill!

That night John, who was floating on cloud nine, came into the house in a daze. The prettiest girl in school wanted to go with him to the Spice Festival! He sighed as he entered the hallway and right in front of him was Michael with his project.

“What’s with you?”

“Me? Oh....nothing....you wouldn’t understand”

“I’m not a little kid anymore......I can understand most things” Michael said indignantly.

“Its about love Squirt”

“Ewww” Michael reacted as he went back to his work.

“You were saying something about understanding?”

Michael rolled his eyes as John looked on. Since he was doing his project, he thought that maybe he ought to start doing his too.

“What’s so special about her anyway?” Michael asked, face still in a grimace.

“You’ll understand when you are older” he responded. They worked in silence for a little more and finally John was finished with his while he saw Michael struggling.

“Need any help?”

“Yeah......lots.....” Michael scratched his head. John spent the better part of the evening helping his younger sibling out and finally, with the pictures and the reports he had made prior, the project was done. They both stared at it for a minute before Michael thanked him.

In that instance, Asher came into the room. She was the first person John had seen since coming in.

“Hey Sweetie!”

“Hi Mom, whatcha up to?”

“Oh, I just wanted to practice some more bar tricks before your father’s home from his fishing”

“Cool, can we watch?” Michael asked. Asher agreed and they both sat down in amazement.

Asher’s first attempt at the trick backfired causing the kids to yell out, but thankfully she came away unhurt. She laughed a little after the shock wore off and tried it again, this time managing to pull it off.

Both John and Michael whooped and hollered as, at that exact moment, James walked through the door with tales of his amazing catches.

“Yeah, at first my hook caught up in some weeds and as I pulled it out, I looked so ridiculous!” laughed James as he recalled his time out by the water. “But then, something amazing happened! I caught a salmon!”

He beamed with pride as he had recalled his exact feelings at that point in time. After his story, he finally laid eyes on his eldest son. He realized his look was far away from where he actually was in time and space. “What’s going on?”

“John’s in loooove” Michael responded for him, drawing out the last word and grimacing. Asher laughed and ruffled his hair as James responded.

“You know, some day? You will be in love.....” he smirked.

“Who, me? Never!”

“Never say never, love.....” Asher winked as he made a face again. Turning to her son, she took over the Q & A.

“What are you two doing together?”

“Going to the Spice Festival!” John declared. It was going to be great, he could just feel it.

“That’s exciting!! Be careful and stick together though....its the city after all”

“Yeah yeah yeah.....” he countered. While James wasn’t too thrilled with that answer, he let it slide when he saw his wife’s look.

“Any chance we will get to meet the young lady?” James asked.

“She’s coming over tomorrow and picking me up”

“I always thought that it was the other way around son.....” James queried.

“You are so old fashioned James.....” giggled Asher-Rose. Another smirk lighted upon James’s face.

“Yup, that’s me.......I’m an old fart......but I do know how to treat a lady” he winked and smacked Asher’s butt as she giggled.

“Oh GROSS” exclaimed Michael as the rest laughed. He looked absolutely disgusted. “If THAT is what I have to go through, I say no thankyou!”

“10 simoleons that you will have a girlfriend when you are my age” John said putting out a hand.

“10 simoleons says I wont!” Michael shook his hand. Their parents looked at each other and a secret passed between them. Michael probably would end up eating his words. However, he had to learn that love wasn’t gross at all. That without it? He wouldn’t be here in this moment.

The following day lent itself to a quick breakfast as John wolfed down his food. Lilian would be there any minute! He asked that she come over early just so she could meet his Mom and Dad. If he was lucky enough, they’d even have time for a movie!

Just as he was putting his dishes in the dishwasher a knock came to the door and he answered it. By this time both parents were out looking at the garden, so he showed her through the house and lead her to the garden.

“Mom? Dad? Meet Lilian!”

“Welcome Lilian! We have heard so much about you!”

“Likewise! Nice to meet you too!”

They talked for a while until John decided that it was too pretty of a day to not waste some shots on his camera. He instructed Lilian to hold still.

As the sun came up, they decided to go back inside to watch a movie and wait for the festival to begin in a couple hours. Already, John was ecstatic and was having the time of his life......even though Lilian had to shush him again as he seemed too amped and couldn’t stay quiet.

It was then that John decided to try to be polite and ask that she not shush him in his own house. She looked away, momentarily perturbed before moving on.

As the movie started to get good, they started talking about which actors they liked and when he mentioned Jensen Ackles, she was shocked to find that John liked him too. However, to Lilian, she knew that he really meant his acting abilities and not how hot she thought that he was. That was why she liked him and now, she couldn’t get all googly eyed about him in front of John. She liked John a lot and so it got too awkward talking that way about Jensen.

He undoubtedly saw her face though and asked. When she responded, she winced waiting for the answer to come.

“What’s wrong with that? I like the gal who plays Ruby in Supernatural, but its not like I would have a chance in hell. They are actors and its hard to get to know them with all the paparazzi hanging around them. Plus, its not like they live anywhere near here” he laughed. “Also, I know that you like me.....sooooo.....”

“Oh is that right?” she giggled and gave him a look. He laughed and told her to be careful cause he knew all her tickle spots.

After the movie had ended, they were off to the festival for some fun! His parents again warned them that they better stick together as Michael’s incessant sing-song voice rang through the air, “John and Lilian sittin’ in a tree.......”

This was just the start of their date and already, thanks to Michael, John was already thinking about if they would kiss by the end of said date. Time would only tell.

Everyone knew you in town. You were the cute girl who was always talking and everyone thought you were just the sweetest thing. One day however there was talk of a man named Kroth who was basically the town drunk and he should be exiled. No one ever did anything though, because it was all just talk. However this sparked your interest. You couldn’t remember meeting anyone named Kroth, and after knowing just about everyone it now became your new mission to seek him out.

You wandered around town for a long time trying to spot someone that you didn’t recognize. Suddenly you saw someone, however it wasn’t a man but a boy about your age. That surely couldn’t have been him, he didn’t even look old enough to drink. But he was a new face so you decided to introduce yourself anyways. You wandered over and timidly tapped him on the sholder, “ umm, hi.” He turned around and looked down at you smiling a bit sheepishly. You suddenly felt your face turn bright red. You didn’t know why, this didn’t happen to you a lot. You opened your mouth for a breif moment then stuttered, “ i’m…uh….i’m uhh….i’m Megan.” His eyes brightened, i guess no one really had introduced themselves to him before. He looked around at all the people that were walking around before saying, “ hello, i’m Mills.” You sighed in relief, you thought he was just going to keep it to himself. He was awfully adorable. “ I’m sorry to ask but, why did you want to talk to me,” He said timidly. You were a bit shocked, you weren’t really prepared for this question. “ know just about everyone in the town, however you, i didn’t know you,” you answered. He smiled softly, “ oh thats really kind of you, people tend to stay away from me because i work for Kroth.” You nodded, “ i was wanting to meet him too, he sounds interesting.” Mills nodded and kind of had this far away look as he said, “, he is, and i owe everything to him.” You tilted your head, “ how so.” He shook his head slightly and looked at his watch, “ oh my goodness i’m late, i need to get these to him now, if you’d like i can tell you the story as we walk.” Your eyes brightened up, “ yes please.” He held out his arm, “ then on we go.”

You spent a lovely evening with Mills , listening to his tale of how Kroth rescued him and taught him to read and gave him a job. All in all Kroth sounded great. He might have drunk a bit too much but he was still kind enough to help Mills which was good in your book. You got to meet him yourself too, and even though he was a tad eccentric he was actually a decent fellow “ You know Megan i’ve had a really nice time talking to you, you are a brilliant person and i would love to see you again,” Mills said after he brought you back home. You smiled , “ i’d really like that too, are you sure i don’t talk too much?” He chuckled, “ oh no i think you’re a fascinating person.” You felt yourself blush as he said this, “ thankyou, i hope to see you again very soon.” “ Me as well,” Mills said as he began walking back, “ farewell.”

The Simpernaturals: Asher’s Birthday

Good Morning everyone! I’m once again here to update you all in the goings on of our favorite legacy family!

The very next day dawned and it took Asher-Rose a minute to realize that today she turned into a very fine young adult! The minute that she got out of bed, her Mom and Dad came in singing happy birthday while giving her her gifts.

“Good morning! Happy birthday!” her parents exclaimed.

“Thankyou!!”

“How are you?”

“Great now that I got to see you guys and all of these gifts!”

“Its just two”

“I know.....two very perfect gifts” Asher-Rose said as she was opening them. The first was a curious key. “A.....a key? Did you get me a car?”

“No......its to the lock on a house that we are having built”

“No way! You......you bought me a.......”

“House, yes.....” Ben said.

“Just think of this as a birthday and wedding present........” Erika said with a wink.

“Wedding? Im not getting married.....”

“Not yet anyway and.its still being built” Ben laughed. Asher was wondering just what this meant, but decided to thank them just the same. Opening the next gift, she saw a spa day that was already planned out for her and money.

Looking curiously up at her Mom, prompted Erika to tell her, “Its so we can get gorgeous and then later I am sure that you’ll want to go out for your birthday”

Asher got up and hugged them both, “I love you two........a house......I just can’t believe it! Thats a pretty huge gift.........still, I am trying to figure out how you figure that I will be getting married though....” she chuckled.

“Actually, what your Mother meant was, this is our way of telling you that we approve of James. I know youve had some pretty big thoughts about how you want your life to play out and this is something that shows you that no matter what, we want you to be able to spread your wings and fly” Ben explained further.

Asher was so happy she could cry tears of joy. However, she had a call from James to look forward to and she needed to get ready for her big day.

The minute that Asher came out of her room and into the kitchen to try to find her Mom, there was Ben working on mixing drinks. She cringed some as he made some mistakes, but she loved to see her Dad working tirelessly on his craft. He had such determination! His love of cooking, baking, and drink making inspired her to do the same so they had a real connection where this was concerned. This was her way to learn how to do things.

Next she knew, Erika had come in just as Ben had finally figured out the right concoction for a drink that had recently been giving him problems. She clapped and told him how impressed she was and then, turning to Asher, told her that they ought to be on their way.

As the day progressed, Erika and Asher had not only gotten their nails done but had also gotten massages too. Just as they left totally relaxed from The Wishing Well Spa, James called Asher.

“Hey Sweet Cheeks......Happy birthday!”

“Thanks Honey!”

“So, I have the perfect place to take you for your birthday!”

“Where?”

“The Blue Bear!”

“That’s like our hangout......of course its perfect because we always go there” Asher laughed.

“True......but still......that place holds a lot of good memories for us!”

“Also, we can have dinner on Mom and Dad! They just so happened to give me money to use for dinner out!”

“Perfect! I’ll pick you up at 5:30pm?”

“Sure!!” Asher said looking at her watch. She had exactly two hours to get home, get cleaned up, and put on makeup.

Once home, Asher-Rose rushed to her room and started to get ready and within, what seemed only a minute to Asher who was hurrying along her way, an hour James came and they were off.

They made it into the restaurant in enough time that the evening had not really gotten underway just yet. However, upon approaching the hostess, she noticed that she wasn’t really in a good mood. She decided to try to be sweet and ask politely no matter what, just like her parents taught her. James was busy at the bar getting them drinks.

“WHAT can I do for you, YOUR HIGHNESS” the hostess fumed.

“Ummm......my boyfriend and I would like a table please?”

“Oh well, right this way.........I only live to serve you and our guests” she rolled her eyes.

“Are.......are you okay?”

“OH just peachy dearie......the cook is sick so we have a newbie who doesn’t know worth a shit about cooking, Im supposed to have a helper but she called out “sick” too. Therefore leaving ME all by myself.......” she ranted.

“Oh dear! Im just glad that its not that busy, just yet.......maybe it’ll get better” Asher tried being nice to this surly hostess. The hostess again rolled her eyes but remained silent as she showed her and her boyfriend to a seat.

After the hostess went away, James was a little upset. Mainly because he wanted tonight to be perfect, but to Asher-Rose, it was. She had to remind him of that and even decided to make funny faces to cheer them both up. Then, when they finally ordered and was waiting for their food, Asher suddenly remembered her homework.

“Homework? Now?” James scratched his head.

“Yeah, I missed this part of my homework and need to finish it or else I don’t graduate!”

“And you couldn’t have done it earlier?”

“Well, no sweetie, I was trying to get all beautified to see you”

“You’re already beautiful!” James chuckled.

“Awww thankyou!”

“Its true!” James said and looked at her homework. He realized where she was as far as her studies were concerned. He remembered that he had passed already with flying colors. “Need any help?”

“No thanks Hon......and I am really sorry about this, I just have to get it done. I am almost there and the rest of the evening will be all about us!” Asher said. To this, she was true to her word. The food came, her homework was done, and they laughed and talked the whole evening through.

“So, what did you get from your parents anyway?”

“Well, the money you know about........but......I got another gift. A BIG gift” she breathed evenly. Yet another talk about how they ought to take things slow, but she had to tell him. It was just too good not to. “I, I got a key to a house that is being built”

“A house? Really? That......that’s.....awesome!” James said excitedly.

“Yeah, Mom said ‘just think of it as both a birthday and wedding gift’“

“Wedding? What wedding?”

“Its supposed to be symbolic, okay? I told them about how things went with you and I the last time we hung out” she got red now.

“That’s still bugging you?”

“No.....cause I had a really good talk about it with my parents”

“Good, Im glad.......really, I do really want you to be my wife someday.......I just don’t see why the rush”

“Yeah.......so.........so the house was supposed to be their way of saying that they approve of us together”

“Well, I am glad honey.......thats amazing” James softened and kissed her. By this time they had paid for their meal and were headed on their way back to Asher’s.

It was then that Asher got comfortable and by then her cake was ready. They gathered, sang to her, and she blew out the candles on the cake. It really had been the perfect evening and it wasn’t even close to being over yet.

The Simpernaturals: A Chance Meeting

You know the drill by now!

During dinnertime that same day of the humor festival, Ben announced an idea.

“I want the family over for a nice dinner party!”

“What brings this on? Grandma Bear and Grandpa Gamer never come to these parts, claiming that they have too much to do. As for Auntie JB, we rarely see her as is!”

“Which is the reason why young lady. We need our family around us!”

“What if they don’t want to come?”

“Why wouldn’t they? Im a fabulous cook, great conversationalist, and entertaining is my profession!”

“A regular three ring circus ladies and gentlemen!” Erika laughed. Ben shot her a look. He was trying to get Asher to understand cause in her mind, they never were around. Asher of course thought this was funny.

“Im with Mom on that one.......ha ha.....sorry Dad”

“Look, they are family and we hardly see them. Please do this for your old man”

“Oh.....okay.....” Asher said defeated. Asher-Rose decided that if she was going to be a good sport about everything, that she would help with the prep work. She got together with Ben and spent the better part of the next day getting ready. Including calling everyone, which of course was all going to be there no doubt.

At the moment that Ben wanted to get ready for their evening, Erika slipped through the door.

“Hey honey.....I love the fact that you want them all here. I am glad we are doing this. I just worry that you ride too much on the notion that they’ll come more often or that we will go see them more. As much as I really want to do that with all my heart, I know that may not happen. I am okay with that, so is Asher.....however, Im worried over you......”

“Wow.......you really thought that one out, huh? Thankyou for your concern Sweetie. I really do wish that they’d be around more......and yeah, maybe I have something riding on this dinner party.......but I really just wanted to see them is all. C’mere...” he held his hand out and pulled his wife in for a sensual kiss.

“Alright Tiger, get to it then.....” Erika giggled, winked, and smacked his ass.

“Rawr” he smacked her bottom in return and giggled as he continued to get ready as she left.

A few minutes later and everyone was there. Erika was off tending bar, keeping up with the conversation at hand, and interjecting her thoughts from afar. The conversation was light, playful, and energetic in nature. Asher-Rose thought Grandma had on the coolest outfit on.

“You really like it?”

“Yeah I do!! Its awesome!”

“Your grandma has taste and flair, thats for sure!” Gamer replied.

“So....honey.......any new prospects on the horizon?” JB wanted to know. “At work, I hear that this is the season for spring flings! There have been a lot of people falling in love, getting engaged, and marrying lately” she sighed and put her hand to her heart.

“That was totally random......” Asher said abruptly.

“That’s Auntie JB for you.......” Ben replied from the stove and giggled. He was busy plating the food for dinner.

“You always were my favorite nephew” JB joked.

“Auntie, I AM your only nephew”

“Huh! No wonder you are my favorite!” she winked and laughed. “So, back to the original question.....”

“Uuh, noooo.......I haven’t been a teen for too long, ya know”

“But look at you! Positively gorgeous and glowing!! Its surprising that the boys have not been swarming around you! Listen.......I know someone.....he’s real cute! Just moved to town with his brother in San Myshuno!!”

“Auntie.......Asher’s too young to date yet!” Ben protested.

“Oh pish posh! Expect him over to introduce yourself.......leave it up to your great Auntie JB!!”

Ben and Erika gave each other a look that said “we ought to talk soon about this”. They weren’t too keen on their daughter dating just yet, but they weren’t about to prohibit it. Simply put, it was the fact that their baby was growing up way too quickly. The night raged on with lots of jokes, laughter, dancing, and drinks. Ben’s meal was fantastic and toward the end they all wished each other well with a promise to do this again sometime. No one held their breaths for that to happen, but it was a nice sentiment.

The next day lent itself to a surprise at the door. Asher went to get it and a dashing young man in dreads was waiting on the other side. Asher let him come in and started talking to him.

“Hey, your Aunt wanted me to come over and introduce myself.......name’s James Thornberry!”

“Nice to meet you James, my name is Asher-Rose, won’t you come in?” Asher-Rose was beside herself. JB had certainly pulled through!

It seemed like they had talked for hours on end and she couldn’t believe how much they had in common! At one point, she told him that she was able to hack into Lothorio’s Trust Fund.

“Waaait.....YOURE into computers?”

“Yup!”

“Coool!! Me too!! I LOVE playing games!!”

“Some day I wanna make my own games!”

“Your nerd is showing!” James laughed.

“Oh yeah? Well if my nerd is showing, so is yours.....you just TOTALLY geeked out when I liked computers!”

“Did not!”

“Did too!” she giggled.

Just then Ben was found in the corner of the room just watching them.

“Hey, don’t look now, but I think we have been spotted” giggled James.

“DAAAAAD, a little privacy here please?!”

“Just......uuuhhh......checking to make sure that the computer still works” he busied himself all of a sudden and then left embarrassed.

“Honestly....” she said under her breath as James grinned.

“That’s cute......your Dad is awesome”

“Annoying sometimes, but yes.......hes my best friend”

“Very cool.......and your Mom?”

“Shes cool too”

“Hey, would you mind if I had your number?”

“No, not really....” Asher smiled. “Wanna go grab something to eat?”

“Sure!!”

After they went downstairs, they got into conversation while eating cookies. It was scary how well this was going. Asher-Rose couldn’t believe how sweet he was.

The only thing was, was that right at the moment that James wanted to kiss Asher, her Mom had been standing right there. She felt bad, but she stiff-armed him.

“Dude! Mom is right there!!” Asher admonished without thinking. He looked crestfallen, but planned to make it up to him. Erika had never been so proud of Asher, but was careful not to shower her elation over it. Instead, she backed away and left.

“Was I........too forward?” James fidgeted.

“No.....but Mom was right there.......its just too weird!”

“Uuh, right you are”

“Well, I really want to go work on my cooking skills and all so I hope that you don’t mind that I show you out?”

“I’ll call you tonight”

“Okay......I’d like that......” Asher-Rose said blushing hard. The minute he left, she got to work.

While Asher-Rose worked in the kitchen she thought a lot about James. She hoped he’d call like he said he would and hoped that she’d get asked out by him too. Sighing, she realized that only time would tell and until then she’d just have to wait.

The Simpernaturals: Asher-Rose Grows-Part 2!

You know the drill!

Asher-Rose’s birthday dawned and the first thing that Erika heard from Asher-Rose was, “WAKE UP!! WAKE UP!! ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!”

With a yawn and the rubbing of her eyes, Erika opened up, “I-Im awake Asher....what time is it?”

That’s when Ben, too, woke beside her, “Honey, its only........” he stared blearily at the clock, “5:30am? Asher, Darling, get back to bed.....” he yawned.

“No......its my BIRTHDAY!!” Asher jumped up and down.

“Ben, Sweetie, could you be a dear and......”

“And nothing......she knows better.....”

“She’s just excited....after all, its her big day.......”

“Then we ought to both get up.......however, you forget I work today......”

“That is pretty late.......” Erika admitted. Patting her husband on the shoulder, she took Asher down for her breakfast.

“Ok Sweet Pea! What would you like to do for your big day?” Erika asked. She was about to cook breakfast and then asked herself why they never really thought to buy a coffee maker.

“PRESENTS!!” Asher yelled.

“Shhhhh!!! Daddy is sleeping.......we will do presents and cake tonight. Lets go to the park and have some fun today while Dad works!”

“YAY!!!”

Erika couldn’t remember when she had been so excited like this. It was certainly fun to see! Soon, Daddy was awake and off to work after playing with Asher-Rose some, and then they were off to the playground. Erika loved it especially since she got to run around a lot.

Finally, once they were home and after Asher got her nap, it was time for Erika to play house with her. Asher-Rose had a great time and after, gave her Mom a great big hug, “Thankyou Mommy”.

“Youre welcome my love......its almost time for Daddy to be home so lets get your pjs on, huh?”

“YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!” she ran and giggled through the house to her room.

Finally, Daddy showed up and he barely had time to do anything. The candles got lit and little Asher-Rose blew them out!

When she was done, her Mom decided to style her hair just for fun. She kidded with her telling her that it was her birthday gift to her.

“Mooom!! Thats not funny!” she complained.

“Sport, Mom is just joking, of course we got you something! Go take a look!” he escorted her out to where her dollhouse was. There, just inside the room, was a science table filled with experiments to do wrapped around with a bow!

“NO WAY!!! I can make potions and stuff with this!! SO very cool!! Thanks Mom and Dad!!” she jumped up and down in excitement.

“Anything for my baby-girl” Erika hugged and kissed her.

“You betcha sweetie!! I hope you have fun! Just don’t blow the house down!” he goofed.

“Come on Dad” Asher-Rose rolled her eyes. After Erika went to bed, Ben and Asher-Rose had a good talk. They talked about how awesome school was going to be and what Asher couldn’t wait to do! In the end, they became best friends!!

The next day was Ben’s day off, but he was found by Asher-Rose, doing his routines and then practicing his guitar while he sang. She loved it so much she stayed to watch for a bit til he laughed.

“Are you telling me, Miss Asher-Rose, that you aren’t interested in that science table we got you?!”

“Oooh I am!! I just wanted to listen to you for a bit!”

“I would think what your old man does for a living would be pretty boring.....” he joked.

“Boring?! How could telling jokes and playing the guitar be boring?!” she smiled.

“I dunno.....” Ben said with a shrug. He then told her that he needed time to work out some new material, so she gave up and went downstairs to play with her new stuff!

She was at it for hours on end! Then, suddenly, whatever she had mixed together just started to stink up the place.

“Asher-Rose Trueheart! What on Maker’s Earth are you doing with that stuff?!”

“Im mixing ingredients!”

“Well it stinks!!”

“Soooorrry!!” she yelled. She went over to the door and slammed it closed and continued.

After the upteenth explosion of gas that smelled of rotted eggs and cheese, Erika went to Ben.

“We’ve GOT to do something about that smell.......she uses it all the time and she should be able to. However, I can’t take it.”

“Just let her be, sweetie......it sounds and......ahh, smells....” he allowed himself a giggle which got him a look, “like she’s having a ball! I am glad she likes it!”

“Maybe we can move it up here?”

“What? And have my work space smell like rotten eggs? No thank you”

“It wouldn’t stink dear......you ARE outside......” she pointed out.

“OOOhh......riiiggght” he rubbed at his chin mockingly. Erika nudged him and he hugged her, “well......OK.........”

Finally, after dinner and when they were about to hit the hay, Erika came up to Ben.

“You don’t look so hot”

“I feel awful”

“Do you think it had to do with dinner?”

“I cooked the meal Mister.......if you’re joking that way, you can cook for yourself for a while”

“Sorry, teasing......”

“I think that it has to do with Asher’s experiments......”

“Oh, yeah.......I will take care of that tomorrow.........”

Erika nodded and went to bed and Ben shortly after that. It had been a busy day!
