Sooooooo... how exactly did Theta end up trapping Blythe in her pact?

Through clever wording! Fae are known to speak truths but stretch that truth to the degree that many people just don't comprehend what is being said - kind of like lawyer speak. I think a conversation between a Fae and a Devil would literally be unstoppable force vs immovable object.

Theta promised to give Blythe power - power that she may eventually become as powerful as her even. All she wanted in return was for Blythe to join her as an equal, to work together, as part of a coven. She would still be free to do what she pleases, but they would be partners in crime.

What she failed to mention, is that the way she granted this power is by making her a Hexblood, and with the eventual transformation into a Green Hag like herself. That's the "become as powerful as me" caveat, that Blythe becomes a Hag to join her, as covens multiple the power of the Hags within it.

I write that becoming a Hexblood essentially ties her to Theta for an eternity, like spawn to sire. That she has had her being irreversibly changed without her consent (Or rather, informed consent) - it's why she refuses to reconcile with Theta, because in her eyes, Theta cheated.

In the end - it's all about choice. Choice that Blythe wasn't made aware of, and choice she had taken away from her. Theta by a technicality didn't lie, but she hid parts of the truth that would let Blythe come to an actual decision. It's why she wishes to at the very least break the pact - while becoming mortal once more may be an impossible dream, she could at the very least remove that yoke.

okay this is funny because I literally had not thought about it since writing it but it was sitting in my drafts and i was like "omg wait that was kind of a good idea who wrote that"

i just think there's this allure of choso as a character in jjk who is new to things and yet still tries his best to be caring and protecting, like he does with yuuji. he gives me the energy of that six week old kitten who was found taking care of like four smaller kittens :(((( i love him sm

and so i feel like he fits right into an au where his job is to protect and keep his subject safe, all while still learning the ropes on his own. and because he can never have things easy, his first task, his first little human that has been placed in his care, is this twenty something year old human who stresses him him out sooo bad hehe. like you walk under ladders and lean on very visibly unstable furniture and on his first day he is so anxious and stressed that while preventing a bowl from falling on your head, he accidentally makes himself visible to you.

you blink at him and brush it off, assuming it's another sleep deprivation induced hallucination and head to your fire escape to light another cigarette and forget about it. surely there's no tall beautiful man in your apartment holding a bowl. and even if there was one, he wouldn't have soft, fluttery wings tucked against him. you just need a quick nicotine fix and all will be well again.

except he follows you onto the fire escape and berates you a little for being so unbothered by a man in your apartment. takes the cigarette out of your mouth and replaces it with a lollipop from his pocket. it's your favorite flavor. you're stunned.

of course it is. he knows you, through and through (even if some of your choices and motivations remain an absolute mystery to him).

So I got the idea for Sam’s powers from official concept art of Infamous Second Son! They had glass, wire, steel, etc.

Originally I was going to do neon first, since it was a self-insert OC I could see myself having neon powers. But then I thought maybe steel? but my friends recommended wire and I was like “hmm okay!” And tbh that’s how I started with her powers! And through out drawing her concepts, more ideas started flowing in :) I also knew I wanted her DUP outfit to be like Fetch’s DUP outfit from First Light >:)c

I was just wondering what Luis’s eye color is? When I searched it up it said grey/ brown. When I see close up pics of his eyes, sometimes they look a bit light and cool toned? I’m not good at telling colors so I wanted to know what you think 🙏 (I hope this makes sense 💦)

So Luis’ eyes are REALLY WEIRD cuz you’re ABSOLUTELY RIGHT in that from a distance they look brown- and I think MOST people had that same assumption that they were brown (at least I did HCNEHENEJ) for a LONG TIME before proper freecam modes n stuff were made but they’re actually a warm grey!!!!!!

These photos look a lil silly cuz the spotlight is shining directly on him but they’re definitely a warm grey!!!!! Again it’s just WEIRDLY hard to tell cuz from a distance they just??? Look like a dark brown?????? So I see a lot of artists (myself included just outta habit HFNWHENEHE) draw him with brown eyes anyways!!!!!!

4. What's your favorite feeling?

woooooahhh this question is so interesting. i initially read it as what's your favorite emotion (like a specific emotion like joy, sadness, anger, etc.) but im going to answer this as whats a situation that i derive a lot of positive emotion from (does this make sense am i overthinking skdjfnskdfj) BUT my answer is that my favorite feeling is when i cook for someone and they love my food <3 i love cooking in general. i love food. i love cooking for myself and enjoying the food i cook BUT nothing beats cooking for someone i love and care about and them genuinely enjoying it. bonus points if its persian food and im introducing it to them for the first time!!! feeding people/cooking for people is definitely how i show love and care and i feel so content when i can provide food for someone!

8. What's a fabric/texture that's nostalgic for you?

this question made me sit and think for a while because when i get hit in the gut with nostalgia its almost always because of smell??? like i catch a whiff of something and it just throws me back to a specific memory or person. but hmmmm if i had to pick something associated with touch i think i would pick piano keys. i played piano for 11 years growing up before i went to college and i havent played much since (even though i finally have a piano smh its just sitting there untuned :'))) ) and every time i touch a piano it just throws me backkkkk!!!! (side note would really love to get my piano tuned and get back into practicing this year)

27. Do you like to garden? Have you ever grown something?

i have a decent amount of house plants so i have definitely grown something ! ive also had some herb gardens in the past as well. since moving to this new place, we havent done a bunch of outdoor gardening but thats something that i would love to change. in all honesty though my partner is definitely more of the gardener. he's very into native plants and gardening and has been spending the last couple of years at this house turning our yard into a blank slate of sorts. aka getting rid of all invasive species, trying to foster and help native plants grow, etc. he just bought a bunch of seeds for native plants and is going to start planting those this upcoming year which is exciting!!! the dynamic is very much i give direction and he executes lolllllllllll but a garden is definitely in the works!! i just always get stuck on what to grow bc i have definitely picked things to grow in a garden in the past that i just don't eat enough of! and when a plant really produces you're left with all of this veg that you dont know what to do with. my worst nightmare is having a bunch of fresh food and letting it go bad! so definitely need to brainstorm what i would love to have in plentiful amounts that i actually cook regularly with

What was your favorite episode (with fav moment or overall) this season? :)

I feel like every episode was packing sooo much this season, there was just a lot going on constantly... I mean between the cruise ship and Devin coming back (twice!!) and Bobby's third begins episode and madney getting married and Kevin!! Lee!! and MARA and the grant nash house burning down and the bi Buck of it all and many many more in just 10 episodes... if I'm only allowed to pick one hmmm

I guess I'm gonna be a bit basic (and cheat a little) and say that 7x05 was my fave — excluding the first 15 minutes which was nothing but one secondhand embarrassment after the other, to the point that I actually scroll past it when rewatching the episode... and my fave scene was the coffee date.

I loved both of Buck's coming out scenes and I loved Tommy calling Buck adorable, but the coffee date is definitely my fave!!

for many reasons, but mainly because 1) Eddie does whatever Buck tells him to, when it comes to relationships and apparently Buck does the same; if Eddie says he should call Tommy, then he will and 2) that was Buck finally, finally taking charge of his own love life and making an informed decision on what he really wanted and going after it (not to mention... just how fucking cute he looked?!)

4. What's a headcanon you need to work out?

There are actually a lot of headcanons where I feel I need to figure things out! One of the biggest ones that I have trouble with is figuring out where countries come from and how. I previously liked to imagine that they had parents or ancestors for the stories and narratives that you can tell with that, but then you have to think about family lines and lineages and ~all of these things~ and it just ends up taking up so much headspace that it makes worldbuilding unnecessarily complicated.

Figuring out hws Finland's origins is especially difficult since prehistoric Finnish history is relatively unknown and vague: there were little to no written records of Finland before Christianization, populations were scarce and divided into diverse Tribes, and Finnish soil is very acidic which means that artifacts and fossils dissolve uber fast and it doesn't leave much for the archaeological record womp womp 😔

In the end I just decide to opt for "they popped out and grew very slowly and people took notice that they're special", but I won't lie, I still like the idea of nations having parents or biological families because I feel it would make things more interesting and dynamic. But on the other hand, I feel like it would make things more constrained and strict, y'know? Like you can't just act any way towards family and putting characters into a familiar dynamic just sort of sets it into one specific relationship for the rest of their lives. Also I feel having bio families makes all of the inter-nation relationships much more complicated; I can imagine that after a while all the nations would be related to one another lol.

Honestly, I would in the end much prefer a more mentorship or found family dynamics style for nations as opposed to strict families, since then relationships can be flexible and change over the years, but are still in the end rooted in those foundational moments.

Alternatively, I like to think that they were born from regular people, and that their parents and the village/community realized that they're special, either through their slow growth, or maybe a shamanic prophecy or local legends or something, I think that'd be really cool!!

13. What song gets you daydreaming about Hetalia?

That's a good question!! Honestly don't know what to really say here bc our most holy Finland takes up 95% of my headspace so if there's a song that I like, I can absolutely make it about him. I often listen to movie, show, and video game soundtracks, pop and rock, and have recently had a lot of Antti Tuisku, Erika Vikman, and Bess stuck in my head and Spotify sooooo... Finnish pop anyone? 👀👀

42. Any Hetalia merch (og or fan-made) rave-worthy?

I'm sorry anon but I don't have any Hetalia merch or have anything that is "rave-worthy" 🙈 In general I don't really buy fandom merch unless I absolutely love it. Most Hetalia merch feels too "plasticy" to me and most of what I have from Hetalia is from my friends and fanart <3333 The closest thing to actual merch that I have is a t-shirt with Varric from Dragon Age, it's my workout shirt 💪😎✨

I've only been to one rave in my life: got some glowsticks w friends, danced to loud EDM, and the people around us got really weird and touchy-feely so we left early :'D (yes we went to the rave sober... it was at a con)

I feel like my biggest insecurity with my artwork is probably posing and also hands 😔 I’m not really good at drawing out poses that come to mind and have to look for one on Pinterest :’P

Music!! A good song and scenario from my head gives me inspiration for art! As well as movies and such but it’s mostly music! 🤭
