In a theoretical world where the siblings get to end up with their childhood crushes:

Billie and Genevieve (Gen)

Billie would make the first move. Her crush, being a sporty preppy girl at a Catholic school and there was probably a lot of compulsive heterosexuality on Gen's part. Choosing to only go after boys until Billie finally got up the nerve to ask her for a night on the town once they're old enough. It not really clicking that it's a date date until partway through.

Billie tries her damnedest to remember all the clothing and makeup brands Gen likes/uses and often defaults to flowers. Girls like flowers right??? Gen has it easy mode, she can just buy Billie knives and beer.

Billie is absolutely the one that leaves her stuff around, but that doesn't mean Gen is an innocent party here. The bathroom counter and shelves are her domain of messiness, covered in all her skin care and beauty products.

Tomek and Axle

Axle has been making the first move since they met. Grabbing him by the hand to show him his desk when Tomek joined halfway through the year in Kindergarten. Finding him at Billie's softball game after he was removed from school and dragging him under the bleachers. It's not till their adults and reunite by random happenstance in America that Axle gets up the nerve to tell Tomek how he feels before he disappears from his life again.

There's probably much specific they get each other. Tomek probably does home cooked food stuffs. Axle likely gets Tomek a lot of trinkets he remembers Tomek liking as a kid after seeing how barren his apartment is, or it's 'experiences' like going to zoos and amusement parks. Trying to inject some whimsy back into the life of someone who didn't get to be a kid because of intense illness and his mob boss dad.

Axle. It's mostly just coats and shoes though. Left wherever they land when he gets home until he leaves. Tomek absorbed some of Skarlet's neat freak nature on top of his crippling need to do things perfectly.

I don't usually take one big vacation to a really special place, but more like a few small trips to see my friends/family in their places or go to events in the Big CityTM like the BDSM parties, anime convention, etc. bigger trips are expensive and overwhelming, so while I like them I don't think they're as frequent as yearly.

oasis; dream destination? 

i would LOVE to go to Italy or Ireland. I've always wanted to visit Italy since I was a child for some reason so that's stuck with me, I feel like I'd love to just take in the vibe and the art and try some authentic food and such. Ireland would be fun and I feel like it'd be easier to get by with speaking English lol, plus my ancestors are from there (and the Czech Republic which would also be fun to visit)

3. What’s something you learned about yourself as a writer?

Hmm, mostly I think I learned I CAN have more than one fic really in progress at a time, especially of the longfic style. I was reluctant to start anything else longer than a oneshot for a long time because I worried it would keep me from finishing Lunacy, and while that really did slow down when I started on other stuff it was also because I needed to take my time on the finale of it. Having something much more seat of the pants like Missing as a semi-long fic to work on really helped.

I also learned that I cannot, under any circumstances, spell unconscious (or consciousness or anything like that) correctly the first try. I always forget the first s. I have made this error approximately 3 million times this year and anticipate making it another 3 millions times next year.

10. What fic made you feel the happiest to work on?

Oooh, this is a tough one partly because of measuring a quick burst of creative energy, something that was done in an hour or two, or something that I crafted for a lot longer. I think I'll go for peak happiness with the least misery of fighting through any kind of blocks, and for that I'll go with Five Times Assassination Attempts were made on the Traitor Elven Oracle without a Death, and One Time with. This one took me a few hours, and was a complete delight to write - when I proposed the idea in the fic discord the rest of the group took the core idea and ran with it in a very different much more serious direction (which Tangerine has started writing here ) but I always had this almost purely comedic piece in mind for it.

28. How did you recharge between fics?

Reading fics counts, right? Also in the D20 space, something I spent a lot of time doing (mostly with people not actually involved in the fandom otherwise!) was getting together with different friends and watching some series together over discord voice chat. It's kind of a great way to do a rewatch; having someone else there means I focus more than I tend to when I'm alone, and it's a great deal of fun to see the various series freshly through others' eyes!

In terms of other hobbies, I play chess poorly and Slay the Spire a whole bunch and other games middling amounts.

exactly ! i'm so impressed by the way you depicted different symptoms of depression depending on people cause like you said, mental illnesses are different for everyone. i found myself relating to Max's symptoms more but the fact that you wrote depression in a different way for every character while still being accurate and heartbreaking just shows what an amazing writer you are

3. ohh this is hard. i don't especially think of any of them as underrated, really, if you take into account that sixty tags are generally less popular than connor ones. in general it'll probably be a question of time bc it's my baby and my magnum opus, until i finish the tmg au, whereupon you shall all want to kill me and dance around my lifeless body. i'm excited. that one's super niche and will be really very dark, so I imagine it'll be underrated for that reason.

(if I can pick an honorary mention re: smut, it'd be let him hear. I loved writing sixty in that one.)

9. YES SO MUCH HONESTLY. I don't tend to write anything until I can see it. it's like walking through a place in my mind. for last call, I could literally draw you the layout of the bar, down to the goddamn fire exits. it's so so vivid. for the people I can watch their interactions, see them move through the space, figure out the vibe they embody. it's so so useful for workshopping scenes but it is an intensive process... and i get carried away, which is one of the reasons I take SO long to update anything I write. writing without a visual is a Lot harder too - not impossible, but it usually takes me a lot more trial and error bc I haven't done that bit in my head yet. i'm very, very visual when planning and writing. it's all about the colour and the shape and the feel of it. seeing it gives me a way to describe it so that hopefully you see it, too.

18. hmmmm I don't know about obscure, honestly, but I've a bunch: how company boards and shareholders work in terms of controlling how a company operates; i researched a bunch of law and criminology stuff for let him hear, down to recommended textbooks for prelaw students, but then didn't use any of it; computer error codes for a question of time; a bunch of stuff related to emergency services for the the end of the tmg au prologue... and for the start of chapter 1. I've done a BIT of reading on AI, but truthfully not much. I try to be pragmatic, to be honest: if it needs to make logical, in-universe sense, I'll research it. if I can pants it convincingly, I'll do that. if the end approach ends up being a combination of the two? thats's synergy, baby.

Hi hiiiii I hope you don’t mind anons. I just wanted to let you know your bard boy fics are my favorites. Memory loss, titanic, and vampire fic are some of my favorite longer fics in fandom and I love all your shorter fics too. I love how you write their dynamic and how much they care about each other and support each other. I like the way you craft plot and the way your words flow. And this might sound weird but I like the smut in your fics when it’s there. It’s tender and fun and never too much or over the top. Some smut can be too graphic and overlong for me but yours never crosses that line and really speaks of the character.

anyways, I just wanted to thank you for sharing your words and I hope you write more! And even if you don’t, ill cherish the fics you have written

Oh god if I have to pick one, I think I want some Johto love to make someone there stronger bc oh god all the Johto Pokemon are struggling. Feraligatr is a quick pick for me specifically but also god imagine a Mega Skarmory. Knife Bird Extra. I Love You.
