-An area stray cat took a liking to her house because she fed him too many times and named him Archon Cuddlemuffins.

-She has the Echo and regarded it as a huge inconvenience for 2/3 of her life until she was shown how she could use it to help people and complement her lack of fight strength as an adult.

-Her East Shroud tavern, Spookeasy, serves as a waypoint for moving supplies and, occasionally, healers to those in the Shroud who Hearers can’t or won’t help.

-She and Lu were born on Mazlaya and came to Eorzea around the time of the Calamity. They think their mother thinks they’re both peacefully studying in Gridania and Ul’dah respectively, thanks to Lu’s letters that insist that Nothing of Interest is Happening Whatsoever.

-Their mom knows they’re full of shit.

-Her mother and sister are talented mages but Aoife herself has very little practice manipulating external aether, since the tradition of her mother’s tribe was to train the eldest daughter only. Recently in Gyr Abania she’s taken interest in red magic because it’s a different process that lets her do backflips and satisfies the part of her that grew up on hero stories.

-Her father was a Tia from the Thanalan U tribe who met her mother while exploring a ruin, and he’s so laidback and lazy that even Aoife gets frustrated with him.

-Her birth name is L’Septha Mahsa, but the number of people who can safely call her Septha can be counted on one hand. She picked “Aoife” from a book as a “stage name” because she was frustrated correcting people’s pronunciations of “L’Septha”, but then half the people she met couldn’t read “Aoife” right either.

-She has a short superficial temper but it’s hard to get her absolutely furious and she hates when that happens because she stammers and completely seizes up.

-Although she'll sometimes embellish stories for dramatic effect, she’s a basically-honest storyteller and tells about things that have actually happened to her or her friends. It’s just that, considering her and her friends tend to be Eorzean Weirdness Magnets, she has a 50/50 chance of actually being believed by an audience.
