things that i changed: removed wheels on arms (now under his hood so i dont have to draw them lol), changed the hood logo to the autobot symbol, upped the contrast on the colors, and some other minor details.

Optimus is horrified when he puts the pieces together and Megatron finally comes clean. THIS MAN FEELS SO GUILTY. Essentially his thought processes is:

Oh wow, I didn’t know Megatron had a kid -> Huh… that kid kinda looks like me -> oh what the fuck -> WE HAD A DAUGHTER THIS WHOLE TIME AND YOU DIDNT TELL ME??? -> Sad wet cat emoji… my baby..

It definitely puts a strain MegOP’s post war relationship, and Optimus is very distraught to eventually learn about how she was raised and what lead her to this point. He’s almost dead set on trying to ‘rehabilitate’ her and try to be her Sire (Unfortunately for him, he’s gonna have to compete for that spot with Shockwave) He understands her hatred towards Megatron, and is actually pretty used to getting bots to calm down after a few years of Megaton Exposure Therapy with his Autobots. He actually gets really melancholic when encountering her on the battlefield, and even once witnesses one of her spark attacks and maniac episodes, it forces him to realize that he had a hand in these developments that he 100% could’ve prevented

The MegOP argument would be the stuff of legend (little excerpt below)

“Megatron if you didn’t want her you could’ve given her to me! She would’ve been safe with my Autobots!”

“That’s not how it works!! It never would have worked!!”

“We could have made it work!!”

Optimus is also gonna be really upset when he finds out she gets “communicating with deity’s” from him, and it’s Unicron (The Earths core in my AU) (and when she becomes Unicrons Champion.. he’ll have a good cry…) Although it’s probably gonna be similar to TPF’s space cocaine thing with her and they’ll just have to detox her
