I Hate Him

Draco x Male Reader

Context: Reader can be read as whatever house (?) But he is friends with the golden trio, so I was kinda writing it with Gryffindor!Reader in mind. Can take place in whatever year, I didn't write it to take place at any specific time in the canon other than 'at a time where things are not in active chaos' so do with that what you will. <3

Chatter and conversation swam in the air of the great hall. The candles hanging in the air above were moot against the aggressive sun of an approaching summer beating down in through the large windows. 

Though lively, Draco found that the echoes of joy paled in comparison to the booming sound of your laugh at the table across from him. He watched you, lazily picking at the food in front of him. A smile dug into your face and your head reeled back with every bout of giggles that Harry Potter and his stupid friends pulled out of you. How funny could they even be? How ridiculous your sense of humor must be.

He watches as you swat at Harry’s shoulder in amusement, huffing through his nose at the anger that boils under his skin. 

“Are you alright Draco?” Pansy Parkinson lays a hand on Draco’s shoulder, and he jerks back like he’d been stung. 

“Peachy.” He sarcastically mutters, rolling his eyes before returning his glare to you. 

Pansy’s eyes scan the table across, eventually landing on you seemingly having the time of your life with a certain trio of gryffindors. You were red in the face with laughter, visible tears pooling in your eyes. Draco’s inexplicable anger suddenly made sense.

“Ah,” Pansy started. “L/N, right? Is that his name?”

“I hate L/N.” Draco grumbled under his breath. Pansy wasn’t convinced. 

“Are you sure? It’s not just because he’s hanging off Harry and his friends?”

“You calling me jealous?” Draco finally turned his attention away from you, brows raised and a sneer etching into his expression at Pansy.

Pansy raised her hands and shook her head dismissively, opting not to anger Draco further. He looked back at you just as another bout of laughter escaped you. It felt like he’d been punched.

“I hate his stupid crooked teeth,” Draco bit out, venom lacing his words. “I hate his ridiculous haircut,” He watched you and the trio get up out of your seats and looked you up and down. “I hate his knobby knees, I hate him.” He let out a strangled sigh. 

His eyes stayed trailed on you, even as you playfully shoved Harry, the four of you all walking together towards the archway out of the great hall. He curled his hand into a fist, digging his blunt nails into his palm until it hurt, trying to distract himself from the pang of white-hot envy that twisted in his stomach.

Draco Malfoy hated you, and he hated himself for the way he desperately wanted you to be laughing with and hanging off of him instead. He rolled his eyes again and turned away, not ready to watch you leave.

Draco just hates you so bad guys, he totally doesn't want to hold your hand that's preposterous! What do you mean he wants to make you laugh just like Harry does? No he doesn't! (He does)

I been updating my Ravenclaw!Reader story on wattpad and ao3 but I've been too lazy to make the covers for them on pixlr so I'm just now getting around to doing that and posting them here TT so expect two chapters of that sometime in the next 3 hours. <3

How do you go about photographing your pages, if you don’t mind me asking? I was looking to start a traditional art Clangen blog myself, but I struggle to capture decent fully-colored photos. Also, just wanted to say this latest page looks amazing! The color choice with the snow and train lights is exceptional.

That's very kind of you to say! I've been really trying to push myself to make more creative color choices.

Alas, regarding the tribulations of traditional art 😅 I have a Epson Perfection V39ii scanner I use. While it can only scan one thing at a time it's slim and I can neatly store it in my closet when not in use. I believe it was $90 at my local Office Depot?

I don't always use the scanner though! Sometimes when I'm away from home or just don't feel like busting it out, I'll instead take a photograph of the art with my phone. I do this outside for better lighting and ideally it will be a sunny day with a shady spot available. Then I'll resize the image and adjust the saturation and contrast in Clip Studio Paint 😉 but I've also liked using the Pixlr app before if a phone is the only tool available. Several moons have been posted this way and most of the fan art I've shared here.

Haiii hello :3 I’m back again with more stsg thoughts !! So,, I feel like we can all recognise that teen stsg are complete and utter losers BUT there are quite a few scenes in the anime that make it obvious that the both of them are capable of being serious to protect people when it’s necessary.. and it made me think of how they would react if you got seriously injured hmmm HMMMMM (this totally isn’t yummy to me because I wanna see feral protective stsg…. Totally…..) or maybe it’s a lil like when Toji told sugu that he killed satoru hhhh … like ur all on a mission together and u get separated somehow and satoru is like “where tf did y/n go 🙁🙁” and whoever they’re fighting comes outta nowhere like “oh I killed th-“ 💥💥💥💥💥💥 ‘n it turns out you’re just a little injured 😭😭 but I feel like they’d be sooo dramatic and worried about you :( and satoru “jokes” that now they won’t be able to leave u alone incase u get injured again…he’s just gonna have to keep an eye on u and protect u forever and ever (he means it) and sugu js goes full mother mode like he’s forcing u to stay in bed, makes you soup, reminds u to take pain meds and listens to every word of advice the doctor gives to help u recover from the injury 💔💔 hrherh I know this wasn’t as long as my usual asks but I thought it was cute and I’ve been thinking about the stupid losers all day… can’t wait to see the sashisu thing uve been working on too !! I love them sooo much I know shoko doesn’t get much love in this fandom :( loser boys (stsg) taking up too much of the spotlight smh…. Move outta the way…. It’s bae shokos turn…. Wrecks. bc they feel sooo guilty and they hate seeing u in pain….. i imagine that it’d hit sugu extra hard so toru tries to be more serious and mature than usual to make up for it!! idk i just feel like sugu is especially prone to blaming himself over things like this :((( even if it wasn’t his fault at all…. and he tries to distract himself from the shame by tending to u like a baby chick. makes u food and carries u around the house…. sits u down on his lap and tries to distract u from the way his eyes gloss over w tears bc he can’t stop looking at the cast on ur foot and he just feels so incredibly guilty :((((((((….. sniffle. i wanna hug him.

i got carried away phfkdjkdkf BUT I LOVE YOUUU STSG ANON and i love this concept sm…….. they’re both papabears :((( i feel like satoru gets a lot more serious when you’re injured, while suguru gets more meek than usual…. it’s kind of a reversal of their usual roles but it’s great bc they balance each other out !! :3 like. in the scenario above i feel like satoru might get frustrated bc they told you to be careful not to slip on the ice or whatever but suguru is there to remind him that you’re in pain and that it was an accident :(( and when it’s a more minor injury i think suguru is the one to get slightly condescending bc why would you go out into the rain without a jacket?? /obviously/ you’d catch a cold, dummy. and satoru is there to defend your honour with his life LMAO…… they’re sooo so silly.

be careful, bumble found a gun of his own and he doesn't have his bow bc i rushed on this bc i actually wanted to rush on this and make it look so absolutely horrendous like my really old art from when i was a beginner (you wont find it on here). kinda the main joke here is that bumble is normally so innocent too. you wouldn't expect him to be threatening you with a gun. Another thing i can point out here is the hand holding the gun too, i recolored it in pixlr e that free online image editor and made it orange so it looks more like its bumble holding it but its the wrong orange LOL. also i think this meme had been done before in this exact format but here i used a drawing i made. oh i hope this isn't too long for you to read i just cant stop myself from going on and on. speaking of going on and on, i like to talk a lot when I'm talking to friends if its something i really care about for some reason informing people about all the cool things with stuff i like is just fun! speaking of fun, whats really fun is the battle cats its a free mobile game that i can go on and on about how much there is to the game! speaking of going on and on about how much there is in the game, the battle cats does have so so soo much gameplay in it because there are the main story chapters and after you beat the very first chapter you unlock into the future (I'll get on that in a bit) and you unlock a second chapter and later a third after you beat the second one. there are 48 levels in each chapter making it a total of 144 levels in the first main story chapter. there are 3 main story chapters so there is a total of 432 levels in all the main story chapters. Into the future is different then the first main story chapter since this is where you first see aliens and unlike the first main story chapter the second chapter of into the future's levels can be drastically different from the first chapter with new aliens/enemies you haven't seen yet from the first chapter. The final main story chapter is Cats of the Cosmos where, similarly there are aliens but the aliens have stars and are commonly called starred aliens. some of these aliens can warp your cats backwards a little bit and some have barriers which you might need some cats to take care of. This doesn't sound very different from the other 2 main story chapters... BUT!!! there is a new thing added called restrictions where it makes it impossible to send certain types of cat units, cats of a certain price, or a certain number of cats. This makes it very very difficult to beat levels in Cats of the Cosmos for some players who might not have any super rare, rare, or uber rare cats when they are being carried by bahamut to deal massive damage to enemies when specials arent allowed. My tip to avoid this is: just freaking get gatcha man, wait till uber fest, super fest, or epic fest though so you have a good chance of getting uber rare cats. Speaking of uber rare cats and cat gatcha, NEVER EVER EVER open capsules from anything other than epic, uber, or super fest... its very tempting to just use the tickets or cat food right away but you will thank me later when you finally get ubers because you didn't waste anything on a 5% chance and instead got a 9% chance. Oof i think I'm writing too much, see i said i like to go on and on!
