I know Stylus and co. took inspiration from Claymore when they made her but Claymore is like the female version of Berserk so Diana's design is an indirect reference to Berserk and i will die on this hill.

I only wish they would have went full-blown ham with this idea. like how in the beginning they wanted to write off diana obtaining her forehead symbol by literally being branded with a burning iron by the Solari with the brand of the heretic. sounds pretty similar to guts' brand of sacrifice. But they chickened out thinking it's too brutal or something?
Also, in the og lore, all the shit that went down with her being sentenced to death by the Solari was also happening during an eclipse. Her eye scars, Guts' gauged eye, Diana's hair turning white after the traumatic event, a part of his hair turning white after using the Berserker armor for too long. Both wielding absurdly huge swords. The fact that the Solari's symbol are birds. The way they killed off (almost like sacrificing to a deity) almost the entirety of the Lunari and their betrayal towards Diana. Also her fighting with the void creatures. The dots are there but i feel like something is missing in order to really connect them.

Abridged Kiramman Family History.

The Lunari of Kir – Targonian Era ( 5000 BN -3000 BN)

The crest of the city of Kir shows two crescent moons in-between the Lunari symbol. The two moons are the Lunari’s signature curved blades, pointing outwards from the symbol to protect it from harm, as well as to imply it was a ‘passageway’ or ‘rest stop’ town to other settlements.
The roots of the Kirammans can be traced back to Targon, in a now forgotten city named Kir, built into the mountain side overlooking a cliff. The city was placed in the middle of the mountain pass, there merchants would get supplies from Shurima which they would then sell to other settlements higher up.
Aside from merchants, the people of Kir also trained proper soldiers and protectors, each group led by a Warrior Priestess as it’s commander, that both protected the caravans or other settlements, since most other Lunari warriors were trained as assassins.
It was a system that worked for a while, though eventually with the increased Solari aggression, the residents were forced into exile, even then being hunted down as they came down the mountain.  Whether by them or the Solari, the city itself was destroyed, leaving little to no trace of its existence.

Kir’man Hunters - Shuriman Era (3000 BN  -1500 BN)

The symbol of the hunters shows two bows and an arrow pointing at the sun. Originally meant to be a disguise for the Kir, the two crescent moons replaced by bows, as well as the arrow pointing at the sun to imply defiance to the Solari, eventually the meaning was lost, instead being replaced by the motto of the hunters wanting to ‘shoot to the stars’.
The survivors of Kir went into hiding in Shurima, the huge Continent sized country big enough to hide them as they scattered across the winds. They created an interconnected network across the desert, its soldiers becoming hunters, the Priestesses becoming leaders of each group.In a few centuries, the Kir’man Hunters as they became known, were a reliable as well as powerful clan of merchants.
It would not last however, as the war with the void then fall of the Shuriman empire (as well as the ramping up of tensions between the Ascended) began to cause problems for trade as the country crumbled around them. Once again, they faced destruction, and many groups of hunters simply were lost to history, some slow and drawn as they tried to survive for as long as they could, others in the blink of an eye.
One particular family managed to survive the fall of Shurima and the oncoming Darkin War, as their ‘station’ was in the port city of Osha Va’Zaun, having being there since it’s inception yet ironically not being as powerful. There, with most of their origins lost as well as a sense of dread from having fallen from grace again, the hunters swore that they’d never again lose their power.

House of Kiramman – Osha Va'Zaun Era (1500 BN -772 AN)

The icon of the House of Kiramman shows two swords across a shuriman sun disc with the family’s initials on it. After the fall of the empire, the Kiramman’s used the image of the Sun Disc to imply prestige, though having the family’s initials on it showed how important they believed themselves to be.
The Kiramman’s had an uphill battle as they tried to secure power as they both lost most of their resources and larger tribe. Nevertheless they managed to climb up the ranks of the merchant families with a unique strategy, they’d not try and outdo them in the fields they were actually strong, instead they’d invest in new inventions, daring entrepreneurs and brand new ideas, and in time simply run out the competition out of business.
This was most often organized by the Family’s Matriarch that led the family like the Priestess once led the soldiers, though now the battlefield was entirely focused in trade. Nevertheless hunting was a part of who they were,  and what used to be done to sell pelts or other items was now instead a hobby, with many trophies ending in their walls.
In the end the Kiramman’s had become one of the main families of Zaun and gained a seat at the council that governed it, gaining a reputation for both being forward thinkers as well philanthropists that would ‘look out for the little guy’, and while mostly a cultivated appearance (and more than one shady business going on behind closed doors) it was true enough that even as the Sungates sank the city to the ground, the Kiramman’s were one of the few council families that actively helped with reconstruction efforts.

Clan Kiramman – Modern Piltover/Zaun (772 AN –  997 AN Current time)

Two keys crossing over the Kiramman initials is the current crest of the clan. The swords were replaced as the family distanced itself with its protection roots, as well as dropping the sundisc as it grew to have more negative connotations. This version of the crest was inspired by the words of one of its most successful Matriarchs ‘The Keys to the future belong to the Kiramman’
As the divide between Piltover and Zaun became more literal, so did the relationship between the Kiramman Clan and zaunites. Having grown large enough to now have one main family as well as other secondary ones, they quietly left the stage of Philanthropy overall aside from a few token efforts and moved to pick up specific inventors and business people , their acclaims also becoming the Clan’s.
If one were to look around the City of Piltover they’d find the Kiramman Crest everywhere, from patents, to buildings, inventions, newspapers and even some vox-films. The main family continues to innovate and amass power, but in truth they could sit on their laurels for a while before they’d begin to be in trouble with the amount of wealth they have.
The Current heir of the main family is Caitlyn Kiramman, who by coincidence or fate, is once again acting as a protector of a city like her ancestors did. She spends the considerable wealth she has to help as many people as she can, through donations or the gear she uses. The outter families allow this as she’s still the next in line, yet they both hope she eventually dies without an heir of her own so they can possibly become the main family, as well as the simple fact that no amount of spending from her could ever damage them in a meaningful way.
Nevertheless, Caitlyn is steadfast in her resolve to help, and perhaps if she does eventually decide to take control of the Clan directly and time to change drastically, she’ll find that often the hardest enemies share a surname.

"Are you sure this is the place?" Sister Delavange says lowly, shield raised to cover the Raven Guard, bolt carbine at the ready.
"Coalition command said the room with the nehehbu rune, usually indicates high value or strategic storage," Brother Phryd murmurs as he continues to work with the bizzare necron locking system with a piece of wraithbone technology. "No reason doubt them. I am unfamiliar with both necron and eldar technology, so this may take time."
"It could've been helpful if they gave us a colour." Halhgar grumbles. "We've passed seven rooms with that exact symbol. If we have to backtrack to find what we're looking for I'm just going te start blastin' doors in."
"If you rouse the Necrons with your sorcery, witch..."
"Please," The Raven Guard interjects with his usual measured tone, "still yourselves, both of you, I'm trying to focus. Just a bit..." He adds as he leans in closer, and then the rune flashes and dims, the door sliding open. "And we're in."

The chamber within was darkly lit, shadows flitted about the edges of the room.
Within the chamber there were lines of stasis chambers. Each storing curios and artefacts from a time before mankind reached the stars.
As the team progressed, the artefacts became more recent... relatively speaking. There a pilot from the Golden Age of Technology, there a trio of men of iron, over there was the battered and broken form of a Thunder Warrior in scavenged gear fighting a pair of Dark Angels.
But one stasis chamber stood out above all others.
Sitting cross legged, a serene expression on their face was... could it be?
It must be.
It was Sanguinius!
Except... Sanguinius was... a woman!

- Sainted as an Archangel of Tyriel, one of the God of Justice's acolytes due to her unwavering dedication to facing evil and chaos

-Primarily a loner due to past trauma, but has since done her best to try to let others into her life once more

- After recovering, she journeyed away from Sabaal, across the seas to the town of Warshire in Vunalis
- From there she trained herself nearly to death week after week and month after month in the deadly Icewind Pass, not listening to anyone that told her to stay away. Her body was forged into what it is now, and she grew intensely strong
-Sarai joined in the battle against Barathruum's corrupted drow and abyssal creatures deep below the Iron Mountains of Vunalis years later in life after the Shatterblades were killed by cultists of Skrios. She traveled deeper into the Abyss but was beaten down, lost her arm, and was taken prisoner by the drow, but not before using the last of her strength with the aid of a sorcerer's spell to protect her allies and cover their escape. She suffered in slavery for five years before she could aid in an uprising and recuperate her body and gain what would be her prosthetic armored arm.
-She eventually killed the bandits who destroyed her life and killed the leader of them with a single, decisive strike of her blade.
-Moved away from the cold of Vunalis and to Aerilon, where she eventually decided to join Dawnfire as an honorary member
-Helps train Aerilon's guard from time to time
-Also aids the Church of Tyriel at times in hunting down groups of Skrios worshippers

Disclaimer: This art of her bastard sword is the updated design, and I didn't update it in Sarai's character art because it would have been too much to do.
Bastard Sword: Sarai's first weapon crafted for her while she was with the Shatterblades. An adamantine sword with a four and a quarter foot long blade and seven inch long hilt, and a simple curved crossguard and pommel. The hilt is wrapped in white cloth. Sarai easily uses this sword in one hand.
Zweihander Flamberge: A massive, black aegisteel zweihander bearing no name. The huge weapon overall is around seven feet long with a fifteen inch long hilt, an 8 inch long ricasso, and a thick, six foot long and seven inch thick, undulating blade. This weapon was crafted to rend and crush. It is black with silvered edges, a straight crossguard, and a heavy ball pommel. Truthfully, she rarely uses this weapon, but she can wield it rather easily in both hands, and can even wield it in one hand if necessary. This weapon is enchanted to stick to her back when put away. Inherited by Sarai from her mentor and adoptive father.
Shortsword: Small, durable adamantine sword kept on her right thigh, mostly used as a last resort. It has a twenty inch long blade and six inch long hilt. Inherited by Sarai from her adoptive brother.
Dawn's Lightning: A heavy siege arbalest with quadruple limbs, a thick and sturdy chord, a sturdy aeigisteel-reinforced, cedar ironwood frame, and a mithril bayonet. While Sarai doesn't keep this weapon with her, it is enchanted to summon to her hands when she wills it. It is strung with a thick quadruple Fulgur Chord that swaths twenty-inch-long bolts in holy sunlightning when they are fired at the cost of the bolts themselves.
Abilities
Great Strength: Extremely powerful, especially for a human. Her size and strength were granted through both extensive, near-death training and as a boon of Tyriel due to her dedication to beating back evil.
Archangel Form: Sarai grows four great, black wings from her back, giving her the ability of flight. Her eyes also glow a red aura, and the magic connecting her prosthetic arm to her body glows a brilliant white color instead of red.
Charm Immunity: Due to her trauma and the cold it left in her heart and soul for years, Sarai is immune to magic that would charm her.

Silvaze ‘06: Part 5 - Finding the Truth

Previously: Silver chose to follow Shadow ten years into the past.
Silver and Shadow arrive just before the failed Project Solaris separates Mephiles and Iblis. It’s now crystal clear that Mephiles was never to be trusted. Shadow pursues Mephiles while Silver pursues his old nemesis, Iblis. The action stage, Aquatic Base, is pretty by-the-numbers.
The Sealing Ritual
Silver’s powers are able to suppress the Flames but not stop it (just like in his future). The injured Duke of Soleanna appears with his unconscious daughter, Elise, and plans to seal it inside of her. He ironically uses the white Emerald, representing desire, to repeal his selfish tampering. Silver pays great attention, mesmerized by the words of the ritual:
Eternal Sun! The flames of fate handed down to our royal family. Fall into slumber with a royalty’s soul!
What impresses Silver most, however, is the Duke’s choice to use the last of his life to seal Iblis away. The Duke gave both his own life and the safety of his daughter to do so, to save the world from his arrogant mistake of tampering with the gods. An implied purpose of the experiment was to resurrect Elise’s late mother, but it ended up endangering all of reality: this again shows the uneven balance between one life and the world.

Silver has an "oh what have I done?" moment. He's been chasing the wrong target this whole time, neglecting the princess when he should have been trying to save her. His entire world, his reason for living, is flipped upside-down.
But he can relate to the Duke - he too has foolishly crossed through time to tamper with things he did not understand. This is what it’s like to sacrifice to save the world, to be a hero, and Silver may have to do the same in order to atone for his foolishness.
At this point, Silver also obtains the white Chaos Emerald. As the blue one represents hope, the white one represents wishes or desires.
Silver & Elise
Silver is entrusted with Elise, the vessel of the Flames of Disaster. She is the girl whom he let get kidnapped so many times - all this time, the true key to preventing Iblis’ awakening was right in front of him. He cradles her in the curve of a tree trunk (remember, nature symbolizes Silver’s hope for the future).

When Shadow leaves behind the Scepter of Darkness, it inspires Silver to leave something behind too: his lucky charm, the Chaos Emerald. Seeing the weight of the world resting on this child’s shoulders, he entrusts this gift to her - she needs its power more than he does. Not to mention its blue (青い) represents naivete, as if Silver is gifting her some of his own innocence in hopes that she can maintain her childhood under such pressure. (Don't forget that the blue Emerald also embodies the emotion of hope, like the blue World Ring!)
As he dives back into the time portal, he is completely inspired to do the right thing and protect Elise.
Blaze in the City
Silver reappears in Soleanna New City, right beside Blaze. His thoughts led him directly to her this time, seeking help rather than rushing around alone. Blaze has been loyally awaiting his return, barely a block from the train station, though she does seem almost irritated at being left behind. Her arms are folded, and that deep blink when she puts her hands on her hips is almost like a sigh.

Blaze suspects that he saw another vision, and Silver admits that he was wrong to hunt Sonic, since he really isn’t the Iblis Trigger. When Blaze casually drops the news that Eggman has Elise again, as if it’s a trivial current event, Silver shows newfound concern for the princess’ safety. Just look at Blaze’s surprise when she learns of Elise’s tie to Iblis!

Speculation: I wonder if Blaze regrets not caring more about the citizens of Soleanna. It could be inferred that she’s not exactly a fan, based on her exasperation at staying in town with all the gossiping civilians. Maybe she realizes she should have done more, had she known Elise was the vessel of Iblis. After all, she would have been present for the surrender.
So now Silver plans to save the future by protecting Elise, rather than playing hitman for a manipulator. He takes the first steps ahead of Blaze again, running, but this time with conscious momentum based on his own knowledge. Blaze’s eyes narrow as she recognizes the change and sees just how serious this is.

Though the Kingdoms had held off planning a formal wedding for Melissa and Daigo out of respect for the post - war environment, the Solarian Queen's court ( influenced by a particular blonde ) still insisted on having a small party to celebrate their beloved monarch's birthday. The celebration was symbolic itself : a handful of representatives from each of the three lands were present, many of whom were now good friends due the prior demands of a year - long conflict.
In the midst of the gathering, however, Daigo stepped close to his bride - to - be. He placed a hand on her waist affectionately. Sensing the Prince was asking for a moment alone with his fiancée, Okamura shooed the two toward the gardens with the promise that she and her husband would see to the guests for a little while. She winked teasingly at her friend as Daigo led Melissa, hand clasped in her's, into the Queen's beautiful greenery.
The gardens of the Solarian palace were beautiful to behold, even in the soft light of the evening. They were filled with aromatic flowers, all carefully cultivated and tended to by a team of official gardeners, to suit the various established hives of bees within its depths that were much - adored by the young Queen. Daigo guided them to a secluded spot just off the main path. There was a fairly comfortable bench in this little nook ; they both liked to escape here when the pressures of the palace were too constricting. Daigo offered his hand to help Melissa sit first before joining her.
"Love, I ― " the Prince smiled. When they were alone, his features were much gentler. He didn't have to keep up the airs that used to give him a safety net in another life. "Melissa. I wanted to get you something special for your birthday, especially since I couldn't do much in camp last year. It occurred to me that . . . I've never asked you to marry me properly. By the traditions of Koutetsujima, I should say. I want to correct that."
He produced an object wrapped in fine cloth from his pockets and uncovered it. Inside was a beautiful wrist cuff composed mainly from gleaming Koutetsujima iron. It was twisted into a mock flower, of which the bloom was a shining black stone, whose stem and roots flowed up the wrist in enchanting coils. Daigo held it gingerly in his palms. Without further fanfare, he sank to his knees before her ― and this show of loyalty to a woman was not a part of his home, but it was important to him personally.
"In Koutetsujima, women wear jewelry like this once they're wed ; sort of like . . . the way Akarians use rings now." Daigo turned over Melissa's palm and set the elaborate piece into it tenderly. "The stone is significant. Black for my colors, of course, and ― " The Prince drew his thumb over the polished onyx sweetly. "My mother used to have a mirror she could fit in her hand that she treasured. She said it came from her grandmother. I was able to save it from her things after she passed. The glass broke over the years, unfortunately, but the stone backing was still good." Daigo tapped the ink - colored center reverentially and withdrew his touch. "I would like to think she has blessed this union for us."
After taking a moment to compose himself, the renegade Prince looked up at his love. Fresh tears glittered in his dark eyes. "If I may ask the Queen of Solaris, on this ― the most treasured day of the year ― would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

Melissa had always enjoyed her birthday - since her very early years as the single heir to throne, then as first in line for succession after Queen Eleanor, the festivities prepared in her honor had always been quite dazzling for a young woman who liked to be at the center of the events. Even when studying abroad and at the time she befriended Okamura, there was still a considerable amount of pomp and fanfarre to the date given her status as a ward of the local crown.
Now, returned to her homeland and the reigning queen, the parties had always been generous and prepared to offer something to every Solarian - but unfortunately, the luxury of the previous years had been suspended in face of the war waged not long ago across their borders. Hopefully only a temporary measure, just as they had declared in relation to the upcoming royal wedding - but a royal decree would never be enough to stop the queen’s right hand and best friend.
Thus the small, rather private and intimate gathering was orchestrated and Melissa confessed herself powerless to resist - the brunette allowed her friend to do as she pleased and took the backseat for the day, occupying herself with selecting one of the dresses to go with the jewelry and to take a moment to write to her sisters; the absence of Rose and Heather would be the only thing the monarch resented on that day, but she knew the twins would grow to be formidable princesses in their own right (or maybe even successors to the Solarian throne, should Melissa failed to produce an heir).
And yet, that sounded like more than a matter of time than anything else - although not ceremonially wedded, the treaty between both countries had been signed and both royals had ignored protocol in favor of real affection and warmth still in the battlefield. The once disgraced Prince who had been driven from his home was now restored to his former glory - even if it was one he did not care for but for the ability it gave him to enact change. The queen was honestly looking forward to be with him for as long as the Goddess allowed them, as well as the children She blessed them with.
The fact that Melissa was enamored with the hero of Koutetsujima was evident in how easily he convinced her to walk towards the gardens, separating the queen from her hive for a moment. The brunette was happy to walk between the blooms and all the carefully maintained greenery with the Prince, and took the seat offered with a sweet smile that grew even wider after bearing witness to his own curved lips. The way that Daigo transformed once they were alone was so very heartwarming - as if there was a precious side of him that got unlocked in the woman’s presence alone and which made him so viscerally human.
That vulnerable part of the man feared by so many evoked the protector warrior in her - for him, Melissa would don heavy armor and pick up her sword to battle anyone who threatened to wipe such a lovely look of happiness off his face. By the Goddess - he deserved it. Even if it was her birthday, the monarch wished for nothing but to see his dark eyes burning with such hopeful light and lips pressed in gentle grins, calloused hands holding her own digits. But as he started to talk, it was the Solarian’s turn to grow surprised and moved - the image of him sinking to his knees evoked their first meeting, where he offered his services to her as the kingdom’s blood knight if it meant the chance to take his father down.
Now, Daigo did it again - but out of love and offering his heart to Melissa. As the Prince spoke about his home’s traditions and the history surrounding the makings of the exquisite piece of jewelry he had in hand, honey-colored eyes grew gentle and heavy with emotion. She had never seen anything like it before - the traditions of his own people were like secrets beyond the borders, but that he wished to still honor everything in a way that paid tribute to his late mother was something she couldn’t take lightly. What Melissa knew about her neighbors was that one’s female progenitor did not hold the same importance as in her country - that Yayoi was such a dear figure to Daigo meant so much to his future wife.
“Yes,” Melissa said without a moment of hesitation - perhaps too short a word for his precious elaboration on the tale, but it was easy to see that the queen was overcome with feelings of her own. Instead of staying on the bench where Daigo had so elegantly seated her before, the woman dropped to the ground to be on the same level as he was, uncaring for the dirty or the possibility of soiling the dress. One of the brunette’s hands was wrapped over his, creating a secondary layer of protection over the jewelry; the other went to his face, thumb caressing his features lovingly before wiping away the tears pooling around his lashes even if they were joyful ones.
“A queen’s duty is to her people, but I swear this, my love, with the Goddess as our witness - I have never loved anyone as fiercely as I do now. I will do my best to make Yayoi proud of her legacy and honor her as you do,” the queen replied, pulling him for a kiss on the lips that was sweet and adoring, a far cry from the desperate and heated ones they had shared after the battle was done, or even behind closed doors (much to the desperation of certain advisers).
“I will wear your gift every day, as a visible reminder of this promise we make one another. It is with no small amount of pleasure and pride I take the rightful heir to the Koutetsujima throne, His Majesty Daigo Dojima, to be my lawful husband.” A short giggle followed, announcing a separation that lasted only long enough for the once renegaded prince to adequately clasp the object on her arm - Melissa allowed herself a moment to see how the dying light on the horizon was reflected on the polished stone, the other hand moving to trace its shape softly and with a reverential edge to her gestures.
“The only thing I’m not certain about is whether this is the most treasured day of the year - what about the day we originally met? Or our first time as husband and wife, regardless of the absence of any papers?” Melissa teased him with a less innocent smile, and inclined herself forward in order to have her forehead rest against his in an intimate gesture, incapable of leaving the floor, Daigo’s close proximity or even return to the ballroom. For a precious, still moment, everything she needed was still there.
“Or perhaps we have not yet had the most important days of our lives - our wedding celebration, the day we reopen your ancient home after repairing it, the birth of our children... We’ll be so happy together, Daigo,” Melissa murmured with confidence, knowing in her heart that nothing else could be the truth, “Yayoi and Eleanor would not allow us to be anything but fulfilled.”

Terravenger - Season 5: Part One - Episode 399 (Do Not Copy)
   During the next morning, many soldiers led by Victoria Sidney continued to defend the civilians inside the Marion Library by battling another large group of cybernetic beings outside.
   Among the soldiers were two students, Ayr Alistar and Declan Sharpe.
   Ayr wore a black uniform with long sleeves, long leggings, and light-blue designs. His left elbow was covered by a black brace. And his MAF badge was placed on the left side of his chest.
   Declan had on a pale-brown T-shirt, blue pants, and white shoes with black at the middle. He also had a thick brown belt with his MAF badge as a buckle. And he had on an opened white coat with long gray sleeves along with a golden collar.
   Declan pushed his right hand forward. Then a small globe of swirling energy formed around him from the air. He soon blew the projectile at the cyborgs marching before him. And the globe created a large explosion that destroyed his opponents.
   Meanwhile, his partner Ayr struck the chests of the cyborgs coming toward him using his palms. And each of the soulless beings were blown away from him.
   The lieutenant Victoria formed a circle with her right hand to her mouth. And she blew a spiraling wave of red flames to burn many of her opponents before her.
   Her husband Gavin stood behind her as he pushed more of the cyborgs away using his power from his left hand. After that, he summoned a large cloud made of iron into the air. Some of the iron had formed into long spears which struck the cyborgs quickly.
   On the top of the DSL Boutique building, a few soldiers fought an army of cybernetic beings who launched from the sky.
   Among the soldiers was the student Iris Thomas. She wore pale-brown eyeliner and blue lipstick. She had on a sleeveless green top that lowered to her waist. She wore a pair of long leggings made with bright-blue scales and long black boots. She had on a necklace with a small shell at the center. And her MAF badge was placed at the top center of her bottoms.
   She spat a barrage of acid from her mouth at many of the cybernetic beings before her while another person attacked more of the enemies from behind.
   It was the fiery Cassidy Lawrence. She had on black eyeliner and brown lipstick. She had on a sleeveless brown top lowering to her waist. She also wore a short dress made of khaki jeans and a pair of long brown Cowboy-boots. Her MAF badge was placed on the front left side of her top. And she wore a rounded Cowgirl-hat that was colored brown.
   She released a long string of yellow energy from her left hand. And Cassidy waved her hand in a crescent pattern as she struck many of the cyborgs standing away from her. Then she spun herself in a clockwise manner and struck another of the cyborgs with her string.
   The two girls along with soldiers from the Midas Armed Forces continued to fight the humanoids until they all spotted something coming before them. Stomping toward the DSL building was a large creature that looked like a mammoth with gray fur and a pair of long white trunks. It also had a pair of long ears that laid down. And attached to parts of its body were robotic implants.
   "What the hell?" cried Cassidy.
   Then someone floated toward the front of the gigantic creature.
   It was the leader of the Paigettes club -- Paige McCormack. She had on black eyeliner, brown eye-shadow, and red lipstick. And her long brown hair was worn down. She had on a long-sleeved light-blue top that lowered to her waist. On the middle of the top was her MAF badge while on the right side was a golden symbol that was shaped as a dropping tear. And attached to her sleeves were black gloves. She also wore a short yellow skirt. And she had on a pair of long black boots.
   Paige threw her right palm forward and fired small balls of yellow energy around the creature.
   She soon closed her hand as she yelled "Blossom Fire Solaris!"
   And the small balls formed into a large explosion which struck the head of the cybernetic giant.
   The mammoth slowly stepped away from the building.
   And an angry Paige yelled "You will stay clear away from my aunt's business!"
   After that, she blew balls of golden energy from her opened right palm to the creature.
   She called out "Blossom Fire Maximum!"
Episode 399:  The Arrival -- The Cathedral
   At the cliff of the Forest Area which on the top of the Midas Academy, soldiers fired lasers from their short-arm guns to a swarm of cybernetic humanoids flying from the cloudy sky.
   Walking toward the battlefield was the determined doctor named Leora Archer. She was a young woman with fine skin and brown eyes. And her short brown hair was tied in a high tail. She wore a shiny white blouse with short sleeves. And on the center of her shirt was a large butterfly drawn by pale-violet lines. She also had on tight gray leggings lowering to her ankles and a pair of brown boots. And she had on a long white lab-coat that was open along with her MAF badge placed on the front left side.
   The doctor made her way toward the cliff and placed her hands together.
   "Illuminating Field!" She called.
   She opened her hands and placed them forward. And a large barrier made of a bright green energy slowly formed around the entire area.
   The swarm of cyborgs tried to bust inside the barrier until Leora lowered her right hand.
   She called out "Hallowed Vapor!"
   A large silver cloud slowly formed above the building. Then a large wave of green wind blew from the cloud which froze the bodies of the wicked beings. And the cyborgs fell from the sky.
   At the Playground Area below, more of the soldiers fought another army of the cyborgs. Doctor Rose Avery was among the protectors of Midas City.
   Rose had her long black hair tied into a low tail. And she wore her eyeglasses along with pink lipstick. She had on a sleeveless teal top, tight white jeans, and black slippers with flat heels.
   She attacked the cyborgs marching around her using a barrage of palms and kicks while she twirled around as if she was a ballerina.
   Inside the Principal's Office of the Academy, the commander Beau Ravenstone thought to himself while sitting at his large desk.
   Beau wore a long white top with a thick white belt and a blue coat with golden pads on his shoulders. He also had a pair of black pants and short black boots. And his MAF badge was placed on the front left side of his coat.
   Standing before him were his soldiers -- McKennah Roberts, Sage Wood, Alexis Sanyo, Bryan Chaolan, and Rian Simms.
   Rian wore a collared orange shirt with short sleeves, the standard MAF navy flak-jacket, and fingerless black gloves. He had a long white rope tied around his waist, tight black pants, and white shoes. And his MAF badge was placed on the front left side of his jacket.
   Wood had on a uniform made of maroon leather with long sleeves and long leggings. He had on a pair of black boots. And his MAF badge was placed on the left side of his chest.
   McKennah had on black eyeliner and red lipstick. And her long blond hair was worn down. She wore a black outfit with short bottoms and no sleeves. She had on a pair of long black boots and a small black gun holstered around the top of her left thigh. And her MAF badge was placed on the right side of her chest.
   Bryan wore a standard MAF navy-blue flak-jacket underneath a black shirt with long sleeves. He had on a pair of tight black jeans and brown boots. And his MAF badge was on the left side of his chest.
   The tops of Alexis' long brown hair were tied into two tails. And the other parts of her hair were down. She had on black eyeliner, brown eye-shadow, and dark-violet lipstick. She wore an outfit with light-gray at the bottom as black was at the top along with long sleeves. And her shoulders were covered with white fur attached to her top. She also had on black leggings and a thin black belt with her MAF badge as a buckle. And she wore a pair of long dark-brown boots.
   "The blue hound's alright?" asked Rian.
   Alexis lowered her head and answered "His physical scars have all healed. But his emotional ones... Both Captain Durant and Officer Montoya have died. And Young Treis risked his very life to save him. I haven't the thought that Tiger will ever be well."
   Wood lowered his head and said "This is terrible. Cody died. But he went out the way he wanted -- fighting."
   "His wife," implied McKennah. "She is gonna go crazy when she finds out."
   And Beau added "Daniel will be devastated by the death of his friend. Rico Montoya was always good to him."
   "And Treis," Bryan replied. "As long as I've known him, he and Tiger were inseparable. Treis giving away his life must be a tragedy to Tiger."
   Someone soon walked into the room.
   "Tiger," said Beau. "It is great to see you well."
   The calm Tiger wore a sleeveless black top with a large navy-blue V covering his chest. Each shoulder was covered in black while he had a see-through black sleeve that was attached to his fingerless black gloves. He also had tight black jeans and black pads around his ankles with blue at the center. His MAF badge was placed on the front of his bottoms. And he had a black cap on his head. He had black liner around each of his eyes. And he had sorrow in his eyes.
   "The news is true!" cried McKennah. "You're human now! Somewhat!"
   "Right!" Rian commented. "He still got the tail!"
   Alexis informed the newcomer "You look well."
   The emotionless Tiger faced his commander and reported "Your son is in terrible danger. He and the Counselor are leading an army of the machines to the old cathedral near the Marion Library."
   Then Alexis closed her eyes as she placed her right hand on the right side of her face.
   She informed Beau "I can feel it as well. We must assist the Counselor and Young Tai while we can, before they are taken."
   A feared Beau stood up and cried "Taken?"
   Alexis walked a few steps toward the desk as she said to her commander "I know that you know what will happen after an innocent is taken by them."
   "Uncle Beau!" asked McKennah. "You know these guys?"
   Beau lowered his head and informed his group "They are known as the Cyberian Empire. I as an officer had fought against them while Sidney was commander. Redbourne and Panel were with us as well."
   "While the General was commander?" asked Bryan.
   "How didn't I know about this?" questioned Rian.
   "I wish I knew," said Beau. "I... I do not remember anything else about them. And I have no idea why."
   At the empty main room of a large old cathedral, soldiers from the Midas Armed Forces were surrounded by the humanoids that had machinery attached to parts of their body. Among the soldiers were the counselor of the Midas Academy -- Mercury Fakinos -- and the brash student, Tai Ravenstone.
   Mercury wore a blue shirt with long sleeves and black pants with a small silver gun holstered to the left side of his black belt. He had on fingerless black gloves with black protectors around the wrists. And he had on black knee pads attached to his pants. He also wore a pair of black boots with silver protecting his toes. His family crest was printed on the left shoulder of his shirt. And a sleeveless black coat was worn with a thick collar while his MAF badge was placed at the left side of the chest.
   Tai had on a black T-shirt with the golden symbol of a winged creature on the chest area. He had on a pair of tight black jeans with a thick dark-blue line coming down from each end. He also had on long brown boots. And his MAF badge was placed on the left side of his chest.
   Each of the cyborgs lifted their fists forward and fired bullets from small barrels which were attached to the back of their hands. Mercury using the movement of his right hand quickly formed a large barrier of wind around him and his soldiers which blew the bullets to the enemies standing at the front.
   The color of his eyes turned from blue to black as Mercury placed his hands forward.
   He called out "Ventus Figura Concutero!"
   The globe of wind quickly formed into long rods that struck more of the creatures.
   As another group of cybernetic humanoids marched toward the front of the soldiers, Mercury created a large globe of stone to protect them.
   Then Mercury called out "Luto Circulus!"
   Next, a circle of mud emerged from around the soldiers as Mercury kept his right palm forward.
   And the counselor yelled "Tempestas Terrae!"
   The shape of the mud quickly formed into small balls which shot the chest of the approaching cyborg.
   After these cyborgs slowly fell face down on the ground, more of them walked into the old cathedral.
   "Look out!" yelled Tai. "More of them bastards are comin' this way!"
   The cyborgs began shooting at them as the soldiers gathered around the two warriors. The barrier of rock continued to block the bullets until it slowly fell into pieces. And the soldiers standing before the young pair fell face down after they were shot.
   Another group of cyborgs had gathered with the others as they all marched toward the remaining soldiers.
   "Death is the only way out!"
   Both Tai and Mercury finally spotted a pair of the cyborgs walking toward them.
   "What the hell's this?" yelled Tai.

A Japanese mandarin with two attend-ants is seated at the center near the edge of the lagoon facing the arbor. A group of Japanese maidens are on their knees bowing very low to the dignitary. They rise in unison, and in a quiet dance that is characteristic of their race, entertain his sublime personage. After their dance they retire to either side, seat themselves in graceful groups, and sip tea under the cool shade of colorful parasols. Through the arbor of cherry blossoms comes a troop of acrobats, who amuse the gathering with clever feats of strength. When they conclude, they bow grace-fully to the dignitary, while the fwo great screens, decorated in festoons of illuminated lanterns, slowly come to-gether. Near the base of the screen is a line of lanterns of unusual design, that become animated.
