"radio" [sylvan esso] aghhhh i had so much fun with this one! the pink glittery theme was a lot of fun to work with and definitely a vibe i got from the song. the girl leaning over the glitter filled toilet is probably THE image i got from this song! anyway, my friend got me hooked on sylvan esso, and she's incredible! she's got lots of great songs on her "what now" album, like "die young", "the glow", and "rewind"!

u know what idk why i didn't think about it til now but i kinda love how "sylvan esso" starts with "hey mami" which is a tongue in cheek song about being cat valled and then it ends with "come down" which starts "hey mama" and is a much more sincere, sad, lovely ending

that contrast. incredible.
