I tried the King's Hawaiian Sweet Top-Sliced Hot Dog Buns and these were pretty good.
These buns firm but soft and were lightly sweet. These didn't taste dense bready but light and airy bread while a little crunchy. These were sweet but lightly sweet to me. These were convection ovened.
I would eat this again.
Got from the Kroger Bakery Clearance.

Best Beef Hot Dogs in California: Where Quality Meets Taste
California – a land of sunshine, beaches, and...incredible beef hot dogs? Absolutely! While California may be famous for its fresh produce and innovative cuisine, there's a serious movement happening when it comes to the humble hot dog. Forget the dry, flavorless hot dog you used to get at the ballpark. California is taking the hot dog experience to a whole new level, with a focus on premium ingredients and mouthwatering flavor combinations. But with so many options, where do you even begin your search for the best beef hot dogs in California? Fear not, fellow hot dog enthusiasts! This guide will help you navigate the delicious world of California hot dogs and point you in the direction of some truly exceptional options.
Beyond the Bun: The Allure of the Premium Beef Hot Dog
Not all beef hot dogs are created equal. The best ones start with high-quality ingredients, specifically the sausage itself. Look for hot dogs made with premium cuts of beef – think Angus, Wagyu, or even locally sourced, grass-fed beef. These cuts offer a superior texture and a richer, more satisfying flavor compared to your average hot dog.
California's Local Gourmet Hot Dog Scene
California is a breeding ground for culinary innovation, and the hot dog scene is no exception. Local gourmet hot dog restaurants are popping up all over the state, each offering unique twists on the classic hot dog experience. These restaurants understand the importance of quality ingredients, crafting their hot dogs with premium beef, gourmet toppings, and delicious buns.
Finding the Perfect Beef Hot Dog for You:
So, where do you find these culinary hot dog havens? Here are some tips:
Search Online: Utilize keywords like "Beef Hot Dogs near me" or "Premium Hot Dog Restaurants near me" to discover options in your area. Explore review sites to see what other diners have to say.
Look for Local Gems: Don't underestimate the power of your local hot dog stand! Many small, independent vendors are crafting incredible hot dogs with unique flavor profiles and locally sourced ingredients.
Consider Ambiance: Do you crave a casual, grab-and-go experience, or are you looking for a sit-down restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere? Knowing your preference can help narrow down your search.
Frank and Furter's: Where Quality Meets Taste
While we may be a bit biased, Frank and Furter's is a strong contender in the "Best Beef Hot Dogs in California" category. Here's why:
Premium Beef Sausages: We use only the finest cuts of beef to create our signature hot dogs. No mystery meat here!
A Symphony of Flavor: We complement our premium beef sausages with a variety of delicious toppings, from classic options like sauerkraut and relish to more adventurous selections like kimchi and sriracha mayo.
The Perfect Bun: We believe a great hot dog deserves a great bun. That's why we use high-quality buns that are both soft and slightly sweet, providing the perfect textural contrast to the savory sausage.
Frank and Furter's vs. the Competition:
Wondering how we stack up against other California hot dog establishments? Here's a breakdown:
Frankfurters Hot Dogs: Frankfurters Hot Dogs is a California institution known for their classic all-beef hot dogs. While they offer a delicious taste of nostalgia, they might not be what you're looking for if you're craving a gourmet hot dog experience with unique flavor combinations.
Local Gourmet Hot Dog Stands: Local hot dog stands often have a limited menu, but the passion and creativity behind their hot dogs can be unmatched. However, quality can vary, so reading online reviews is helpful.
The Final Bite: A Delicious Beef Hot Dog Adventure Awaits
The search for the best beef hot dogs in California is a delicious adventure. With a little exploration and these helpful tips, you're sure to find a hot dog that elevates your taste buds and leaves you wanting more. So, ditch the ordinary and embark on a culinary hot dog journey through California. Remember, some of the best finds might be hiding in plain sight – and your perfect beef hot dog could be just a search away (or maybe even closer at your local Frank and Furter's!).

Food Review
One would instantly think of the country of United States when they hear the food called "hot dog" but little did you know that the hot dog actually originated from the country of Germany in the 13th century and was originally known as Frankfurter from the place called Frankfurt in Germany. It consisted of pork and beef meat but in modern times, chicken and turkey meat can be found in these "hot dogs" that we know of. As one would experience it, the hot dog has a soft meat that is usually accompanied by its salty and sweet flavor. Some brands of hot dogs add spices to this for a kick while others add cheese for creamyness. However, the hgot dog's full potential comes when it is paired with a bun. The hot dog inside of a bun is one of the most popular representation of what fast food is. It consists of the bun, the hotdog, and some adds a combination of ketchup, mustard, or even mayonnaise, while other vendors like to take it up a notch and even add grated cheese that can also be melted. You can find this food in every fast food chain or fairs that you may go into. Along with hamburgers and fries, hot dogs in a bun is one of the most famous fast food there is.

Behind Your Touch Episode 13: Han Ji Min Suspects Park No Sik as the Serial Killer
Behind Your Touch is a popular South Korean drama series that airs on JTBC and Netflix. The show stars Han Ji Min, Lee Min Ki, and Suho as the main leads. The story revolves around a veterinarian with psychometric powers, a hot-blooded detective, and a mysterious convenience store worker who get involved in solving crimes in a small town.
(Photo : JTBC Official Instagram) In the latest episode of Behind Your Touch, Han Ji Min’s character Bong Ye Bun finds a new clue that leads her to suspect Park No Sik’s character Jeon Gwang Sik as the serial killer. She also learns more about Suho’s character Kim Sun Woo and his connection to her grandfather. Here is a recap and review of Behind Your Touch episode 13.
Recap
(Photo : JTBC Official Instagram) The episode begins with Ye Bun and Jang Yeol visiting the shaman Park Jong Bae, who claims to be innocent of the murders. Ye Bun uses her power to read his memories and confirms that he is telling the truth. She also sees a vision of Sun Woo helping her grandfather to go to Assemblyman Cha’s office. Meanwhile, Sun Woo visits the convenience store owner Ok Hee Mo, who reveals that he knows about his psychic ability. He warns him to be careful of Ye Bun and Jang Yeol, who might be looking for him. Sun Woo denies being involved in any crime and leaves. Ye Bun and Jang Yeol return to the police station and share their findings with Chief Won Jong Muk. They conclude that there is another psychic who is manipulating the evidence and framing the innocent people. They wonder if it could be Sun Woo or someone else. The next day, Ye Bun goes to a house call with Sun Woo as her escort. They have a sweet moment together as they take care of a dog. Sun Woo tells her that he is looking for his mother, who abandoned him when he was young. He also says that he likes her and wants to protect her. At Gwang Sik’s house, Ae Ran tells Ye Bun that Gwang Sik knows about her power and asks her to read her memories. She says that she lost Gwang Sik’s ring and wants to find it. Ye Bun agrees to help her and tries to touch her back, but Gwang Sik stops her abruptly. He acts strangely and tells Ye Bun to leave. Ye Bun feels something is off and begins to suspect Gwang Sik. Ye Bun goes to Jang Yeol and tells him about her doubts about Gwang Sik. She wonders if he has been lying about his power and creating stories to mislead them. They also think that there might not be a third psychic at all. The episode ends with a flashback of Gwang Sik killing Assemblyman Cha with a knife while wearing gloves.
Review
(Photo : JTBC Official Instagram) Behind Your Touch episode 13 was a thrilling and suspenseful installment that revealed the true identity of the serial killer. The show did a good job of building up the mystery and dropping hints along the way. The viewers were kept guessing until the final twist, which was shocking and unexpected. The episode also developed the romance between Ye Bun and Sun Woo, who shared some cute scenes together. Their chemistry was palpable and their relationship was sweet and sincere. However, their happiness might be short-lived as they face more danger and secrets in the future. The episode also explored the characters of Gwang Sik and Ae Ran, who turned out to be more complex and sinister than they appeared. Their motives and backstory are still unclear, but they seem to have a dark past that involves Sun Woo’s mother. The show has set up an intriguing conflict between them and the main leads. The episode also had some humorous moments, such as Ye Bun revealing her power to the other detectives, Jang Yeol confronting Sun Woo, and Ok Hee Mo teasing Sun Woo about his crush on Ye Bun. The show balanced the comedy and drama well, making it an enjoyable watch. Behind Your Touch episode 13 was an exciting and surprising episode that delivered a major revelation and raised more questions. The show has maintained its quality and interest throughout its run, making it one of the best K-dramas of 2023. What are your thoughts on Behind Your Touch episode 13? Happy Sunday Adira! For your sentimental asks, 14, 24, 40!
Hello, my Lovely Jam. My Lucky Jellybean. My Luxurious Jalapeño. Having a good SundaySundaySunday???
I'm making chicken Kiev and tater tots. Because I can.
.
What’s your favorite food from what you grew up eating at home?
Oh ho! A loaded question because my mom has always been kind of a terrible cook!! She's gotten a little better over the years; mostly because of things I taught her. And I am really not a great cook. Actually, the reason I don't eat ham or pork that isn't processed is all her fault. The way she overcooked things...and what she roasted them with...the salt....the unrendered fat....the texture....*shiver* I remember spitting meats into napkins when my parents weren't looking and flushing them later.
ANYWAY. As a child, I loved Twinkies, Oscar Meyer hot dogs (sometimes cold, right out of the package), milk with Quik chocolate powder in it, and pizza burgers. Pizza burgers is something my mom made up to use up stuff in the kitchen. It's basically toasted burger buns, spread with mustard and some kind of spam mix and then baked until crispy.
DISCLAIMER: All of these things make me make the Pukeface™ 🤢 now and I wouldn't touch them with a festooned hazmat shield. Except the Quik, of which I have a big Costco container of on my kitchen counter because when I want something sweet but don't want to eat, it scratches that itch.
Let's see if you can spot it.
.
Is there any sort of folklore or mythological creature you were told about as a kid?
My parents are basic, so it was Santa and the Easter Bunny. I knew they weren't real very early on, but I also knew that the minute I didn't believe anymore, they would stop giving me presents in my stocking and basket. So that was more my con than theirs.
.
YouTube videos you genuinely enjoy watching.
I truly miss Glove and Boots. They were my favorites. I have a few witchy channels I'll pop by every now and then, but I don't really jive with the prescribed pagan thing, so I'm mostly just there for the tarot deck reviews. And when I'm sad, the fastest way to cheer me up is to play me anything shittyfluted (esp. Take On Me. Classic.).
I think my favorite channel is Arnold Mackey. He's just some old dude in his house doing lipsyncs into the camera. I mean, maybe "lip sync" is generous. More like just opening and closing his mouth. They're pretty awful, but you can tell he really enjoys the songs. He's recently switched over to just doing karoke in his easy chair and that's fun too. Am I laughing at him? Sure. Is it partially out of being stupidly endeared of him? Fuck yes. Is he my hero? 100% He reminds me of the old guy who used to come to my college karoke night and sing a tone-flat version of Madonna's "Crazy for You" and whom I adopted as my grandpa. This lovely, genuine human often supplies me with beautiful serotonin and he is an angel.
I found him when I was researching the old song "Isle of Beauty" for a show I was making. I think this is my favorite of his. Especially since it's one he sang himself and then lip syncs badly to a recording of his own self....singing terribly. I love it so so so much.

Valencia morning bike adventure-
Sam, Carlie and Cam had been in Valencia the whole week, so they had put together a great itinerary for us on our overlapping day in Valencia. First, Sam put Matt through the paces on a fast (for Matt) beach boardwalk run. Then we rented bikes from Sam and Carlie’s hotel for the adults and big kids and put Oli and Cam in child seats on the back of bikes and cruised out. The kid great on the bikes and the city of Valencia has great infrastructure for it with bike lanes set up everywhere. the first stop was biking by the ciudad des artes y ciencias which has a bunch of futuristic museums housing an aquarium, museums, and art space. We then biked along a greenspace that used to be a river until it was diverted around town due to flooding. We came to our first big stop of the trip: Parc Gulliver, which is a massive playground structure made to look like the Giant Gulliver from Gulliver’s travels. There are slides and climbing structures made to look like various body parts and articles of clothing. Some of the slides are so big groups of people can go down together which Tio Sam did with the kids a few times. From there it was on to Horchateria Daniel for some delicious horchata and some tasty sweets (also their famous “fartones” which were aptly described by Carlie as basically hot dog buns with a little frosting on them, which you are supposed to dunk in your horchata…so so reviews by us). We then headed to to Mercado Central and decided to pick up some seafood to cook up the following night. We then biked back to the hotel and returned bikes.

Five Guys Breakfast Review
Five Guys is a fast-casual restaurant chain in the US and UK that sells hamburgers, hot dogs, and French fries. The restaurant is known for its large portions, quality food, and reasonable prices, but now it’s joined the ranks of fast-food restaurants that serve breakfast. The only catch is, breakfast is only offered at select locations and some airports. If you’re anywhere near a location that has breakfast options, it’s worth a try. Let’s find out what the breakfast menu looks like in this Five Guys Breakfast review.
History and Inspiration
In 1986, Jerry Murrell opened a burger restaurant in Arlington, Virginia, named after himself and his four sons. However, a couple of years later, he had another son, so Jerry claimed the restaurant was named after his five sons, excluding himself. That still works, right? The idea of the restaurant was simple- sell hand-formed fresh-ground beef and fries cooked in peanut oil. Also, no freezers were to be used- only fresh ingredients. As each burger was made to order, they offered complimentary shelled peanuts as something to snack on while you waited. Over the next 20 years, Jerry opened several more locations, expanding across state lines and eventually in the UK. While they have an impressive following of burger lovers, Five Guys began offering breakfasts in 2019 as an answer to growing requests from customers in big cities and airports. Not straying far from their regular menu, Five Guys’ breakfasts include breakfast sandwiches that include eggs, cheese, or bacon.
Types of Five Guys Breakfast
The breakfast menu is served between 8-10:30 am daily at a few locations, and it includes four breakfast sandwiches. Combinations include the bacon, egg, and cheese roll with apple-wood smoked bacon, two eggs, and melted American cheese. Or you can order a plain egg roll. Generous portions of Five Guys’ hand-cut fries can also be ordered with any breakfast item. Start your day with one of the following classic breakfast options: - Egg Sandwich ($2.99) - Egg and Cheese Sandwich $(3.49) - Bacon and Egg Sandwich ($3.49) - Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich ($3.99)
Five Guys Breakfast Review
Without complicating their menu, Five Guys simply added eggs to their menu and re-appropriated their existing hamburger toppings into breakfast sandwich ingredients. It was a creative and resourceful move, but how do the breakfast sandwiches taste?
Five Guys Breakfast. Photo by Five Guys Twitter France. 1. Taste and Texture True to their nature, Five Guys loads their breakfast sandwiches just like they load their burgers. The buns are soft and the eggs taste much better than some of those yellow rubbery egg circles you might find at other fast-food chains. The crispy bacon gives the sandwich a much-needed crunch in the bite. The grilled onions are sweet and caramelized, and the grilled mushrooms had a nice savory flavor as well. My only complaint would be that the ingredients make the sandwich too soft, and I like a nice firm bite in my sandwiches. I added salt and ketchup to mine- I know, ketchup on eggs- it’s a Texan thing. Nothing about the breakfast sandwiches stand out to me, but they are a good option if you’re near a Five Guys and want a big breakfast portion to start your day.
2. Are they healthy? The burgers are made with fresh ground beef and the fries are cooked in peanut oil. Burgers and fries quickly add up in terms of calories, saturated fat, sodium, and cholesterol, so if you’re following a strict diet plan, Five Guys may not be the best option. But consumed in moderation or for special occasions, it’s a good option. 3. Are they Worth it? I like the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, but I’d probably only choose it again if I was in an airport and a Chick-Fil-A wasn’t available. Even though the portion sizes are generous and the prices are reasonable, it’s not my favorite breakfast option. Five Guys doesn’t have any plans to add other breakfast items to their menu, so it’s likely that they’ll continue their legacy as a quality burger joint. Final Verdict Five Guys’ breakfast options aren’t super creative or innovative, but they are made with high-quality ingredients and there are lots of topping options. The 15 sauces and extra toppings Five Guys usually has available for their hamburgers are also available with the breakfast sandwiches. It’s a decent option, so I’d recommend trying the breakfast at least once.

Five Guys Breakfast Pricing
Each breakfast sandwich is priced under $4. You can even add a hamburger patty to yours for $1.50, and the extra toppings are free. These include The topping choices include mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, mustard, A.1. Steak sauce, Bar-B-Q sauce, hot sauce, relish, onions, jalapeño peppers, and green peppers. What do you think about our Five Guys Breakfast Review? TikTok Has The Best Ideas
Bucky x Reader | 1.1k words | Fluff | Pre-Smut | Reviewed by @xerphena
Synopsis: Wanda tells the reader about a TikTok trend about getting naked in front of your partner. This might be one trend the reader actually considers.
This is my first fic! Comments and criticisms are welcome!
___________________________________________________________
You sat on the couch in the common room with Natasha and Wanda, nursing your second glass of rosé.
This was your weekly ‘Girl’s Night’. It was turning out as it usually did: a bottle (or two) of wine polished off, Netflix long forgotten, and conversation flowing freely.
“It’s absolutely hilarious,” Wanda began. “The guys look so stunned, and always end up running after their partner.”
Conversation had landed on some new trend Wanda had found while on TikTok. According to Wanda, the reactions ranged from shocked to elated, but always ended with the partner chasing after them like a dog after a bone.
“It sounds pretty funny. Could get pretty steamy though.” Natasha weighed in and seemed to be considering trying this trend. “Y/N, weigh in here: is this funny or sexy?” Natasha turned her gaze on you. The question piqued Wanda’s interest too, raising a perfectly manicured brow your direction.
“I’m not really sure, to be honest. I think it has the potential to end up pretty hot. And it’s always nice to know that your body gets your man going.” You laughed.
“So,” Wanda smirked. “Does that mean you’re going to try this out on our resident Winter Soldier?”
“Who’s trying what out on me?” Bucky walked into the room confused and unaware of the rest of the conversation. He wore a tired smile as he strode over and stopped behind your spot on the couch. He bent to plant a kiss on your crown. “More plans to braid my hair or somethin’? Because last time Nat pulled my hair so tight I swear I saw spots.”
“No. Nothing like that, sweets. Wanda is just rambling about something she saw online.” You assured Bucky as you stood from your seat. “Ladies, if you don’t mind, I’m going to head to bed—Fury’s got me scheduled for takeoff at 5AM, and he’ll have my ass if I’m late again.”
“Where are you being sent, again?” Natasha stood to start cleaning up the empty wine glasses and popcorn bowls.
You had already folded your blanket and began walking out of the common room with Bucky as you called out your response. “Just a quick day mission with Clint; some file retrieval in France. I’ll be back before you know it.” You stopped walking and turned back to your friends, “Wanda, do me a favour and delete that app. You know it’s full of spyware.”
You could hear Nat’s muffled snickering behind you and Wanda yell: “That’s what Vis is for. He’s my walking firewall.” The last thing you heard as you turned the corner was Natasha’s full belly-laughter.
___________________________________________________________
The mission was easy, and you were back in the tower the very same night. You said your ‘goodnight’s to Clint and the deck crew and made your way to your private quarters.
As you opened the door to your apartment, you spotted Bucky sitting in his armchair, his battered copy of The Lord of The Rings in his hands. Bucky’s head snapped up as you entered, and a grin broke out across his face when he realized you were home. “Hey baby. How was it?”
You walked over to where he sat and wound your arms around him, placing a gentle kiss on his lips. “As expected; simple in-and-out like I predicted.” You pulled your hair from its bun, shaking your hair as you did so. “I’m going to take a shower. Want to watch a movie tonight? Or has Mr. Tolkien stolen you from me, yet again?” You joked, knowing how much Bucky loved reading the series.
“It’s up to you, doll. Let’s see how tired you are after your shower and we’ll decide from there, yeah?”
You nodded and kissed him once more, then set off for the bathroom.
___________________________________________________________
As you washed away the dirt and sweat of the mission, you allowed your mind to wander. All of your thoughts drifted back to Wanda’s suggestion from the previous night. Your shower, now over, you shut off the water and toweled off.
While drying your hair, you seriously pondered trying the trend on Bucky. You had no doubt it would work, as Bucky had always loved your body. You looked at your folded pyjamas on the counter and asked yourself: ‘why not have a little fun?’ It was settled; Bucky was in for a surprise tonight.
Collecting your now useless pyjamas, you padded into your bedroom and placed them back in their drawer. Your towel secured around you, you grabbed your phone off of the dresser and opened the camera. You grinned into the lens. “So I saw this trend where people are walking naked in front of their partners, and I want to give it a go. So let’s see how my boyfriend reacts.”
You flipped the camera into standard mode and walked out to the living room. Lucky for you, Bucky was so immersed in his book that he didn’t notice your presence. You removed the towel from around your body and—saying absolutely nothing—threw it at Bucky.
The towel hit him right in the face and Bucky startled, “Doll, what’re you doin’? I just got to the best pa—oh wow…fuck.” His entire demeanor shifted when he noticed your state of undress.
You flipped the camera into selfie-mode once again and, sending Bucky a smirk, began sauntering back into the bedroom. In the camera you could see him bolt out of his chair, book clattering to the floor, and begin running after you, already removing his shirt. “Oh, hell yea!”
As you made it back to your bedroom, you winked into the camera and stopped recording. You dropped your phone to the ground as Bucky—now clad in only his boxers—tackled you to the bed, a smirk on his face.
In the morning, Wanda was going to get the biggest thank-you for this idea. But for now, all that mattered was Bucky and your wild night ahead.

Not Your Guardian Angel: Chapter 12
Marked Book 3: Not Your Guardian Angel
Chapter 12
[ Previous | First | Next ]
Pels looks up The Dog Shack on Saturday morning, trying to find something about them online. She learns that they’re in Unity (which she knew) and she finds the phone number to call, but while there are plenty of reviews online, she can’t find a menu or a way to order.
So she presses the numbers and makes the call.
“Hello, this is The Dog Shack. How many dogs would you like and what name should the order be under?” a voice sings out cheerfully.
“Just how many and what name?” Pels asks. “There aren’t any options?”
“Ah, you’re a first timer.” She can hear the deep breath that the speaker takes before blurting out, “Our dogs are all mini dogs on a white-bread bun, which are made fresh three days a week. Each dog comes with cheese, meat sauce, and pickled onion, with optional ketchup and mustard. We don’t have any vegetarian options, and the cheese is a shredded Vermont sharp because our owner doesn’t like New York sharps and thinks cheese sauce is a copout unless it’s made fresh and we don’t have time for that. The wait time will be about fifteen minutes for us to prep your order, and we take cash, credit, or school dining dollars at the counter when you come to pick up. Your order will be packed in foil first, then a biodegradable cardboard carton which we hope you recycle. Each dog costs only $1.50, and you can get ten for $12.”
“Oh.” Pels has no idea how filling a mini dog could be, and at that price they seem like they must be small. “I’ll take… four? And do you have fries or anything?”
“Do you want your fries topped the same as your dogs?”
“Sure. Can I get ketchup on the side for both?” Pels has no idea what she’s doing, but it sounds good anyway, and in the end it sounds like maybe she’s getting breakfast and lunch both for under $10 total, which is a good thing.
Fifteen minutes later she’s waiting in line at the small shack, and ten minutes after that she’s already finding a spot in the stands to sit while teams from four different colleges warm up on the track below. She opens the first cardboard container and takes out a piping hot mini dog and takes a careful bite, meat sauce and cheese dripping back into the container below.
She burns the roof of her mouth, but she thinks it might be worth it, because it really does taste so damned good.
“Isn’t that your friend’s friend’s girlfriend?” Dad murmurs, nudging her shoulder to get her attention.
Where…? Oh. There, standing at the lowest level right below where Pels sits, looking up at her. Cass has her hair in a high ponytail and is wearing a denim jacket with embroidered flowers along the shoulders, her hands shoved into the pockets. She doesn’t seem ashamed to be caught staring.
Pels lifts one hand, then gestures to the seat Dad occupies since to Cass it should look empty.
Cass’s body language is a clear huff of “well, fine” before she climbs the stands and cautiously takes the seat next to Pels. “You’re Nate’s friend,” Cass says.
“One of them,” Pels agrees. She gets the feeling that Nate knows everyone but doesn’t have a lot of friends, which seems almost as sad as knowing no one and having few friends. Maybe even more sad. “And you’re Dax’s girlfriend.”
Cass makes a small noise and pointedly looks down at the track, where Nate and Dax are stretching side by side, talking.
“Not much of a talker, is she?” Dad says.
Pels takes another bite of hot dog. If she’s not talking, she might as well eat.
Two dogs disappear for breakfast, and by the time the first races are starting she’s working on the fries. She burps and is pretty sure she’ll be tasting cheesy meat sauce for the next several hours; thankfully it’s a good kind of taste.
“Hey there.” Shane slides onto the bench on her other side, Jess just beyond him. His cane clatters against the metal, and his hand brushes against Pels’s knee as he reaches for it to set it back within reach. “Did we miss anything?”
“It’s a track meet,” Cass says sharply. “We’ll be sitting around and waiting all day for five minutes of running that will be over before we blink.”
“If that’s how you feel about it, we can just text you when the race is coming up and you can go do something else if you’d rather,” Pels responds before she thinks about it.
Cass closes her mouth, lips pursed tightly.
Jess leans across Shane. “I told Shane that you’d been watching practices, and that you were going to cheer Nate on today. So we thought we’d come lend our voices.”
Cass huffs. “I know why I’ve been watching practice. What’s your reason? You know Nate’s not—”
“It’s peaceful.” Pels cuts her off before she can get into a full rant. “And why are you so angry about it? Nate’s my friend. It’s nice up here, and it isn’t crowded when they’re practicing. I like coming up here to sit in the sun and work.”
Shane leans in close on her other side, his knee and hip pressed against her. “Ignore her. She’s always cranky. Don’t let her drag you into whatever’s got up her ass.”
“I can hear you,” Cass snaps.
“Then try being nice,” Shane counters. “Or go sit somewhere else.”
It’s different from watching practice. When more people wedge into the bench, Jess moves to sit in front of Shane instead, leaning forward as she cups her hands around her mouth and calls out to cheer on a runner that Pels doesn’t recognize.
“Hey.” Shane nudges her again, his hand covering hers where it rests on her knee. “Is this okay?”
Um.
The loudspeaker goes off, but Pels doesn’t process the words, all too aware of Shane’s hand on hers, and the way his fingers dip to thread between hers.
“Nate and Dax are heading to line up.” Shane points as Jess calls out both names loudly. Nate waves back at them, while Dax just looks up, brow furrowed.
Pels waves back with her free hand because it seems like the right thing to do. Her other hand is too warm, and her stomach is doing little flip-flops like maybe the dogs and fries were a bad idea. She still has half of them left for later, sitting on the floor by her feet. Maybe she’ll offer them to someone else, if her stomach doesn’t improve. She can’t decide if this is bad or not.
“This one is the 1500,” Jess says. “It’s short for a long distance runner. I think they’ll be doing a 5k today, too. I don’t know if this meet has a 10k; those are a little more boring to watch, since it’s basically a half hour of running around the track. They’re usually the last event of the day, while everyone else is cleaning up.”
“Dax said he’s running the 1500 and 5k today,” Cass says tightly. “The 5k is mid-afternoon.”
Shane squeezes Pels’s hand. “They’re going to kill it,” he says.
Her hand is warm. Not overheated, not on fire, just comfortably warm. And her stomach is settling, slowly, although it still feels like butterflies might have taken root. Or maybe bees. Yes, bees, buzzing around but also building a honeycomb sweetness that spreads through her limbs.
Who knew holding hands could feel so… nice.
The loudspeaker burbles again, and the runners resolve into a single line across the track. Nate stands next to Dax, tall and lanky, bouncing on his toes as he shakes his arms. Most of the runners look like Nate—thin and rangy, some shorter than others. Dax has a heavier build, with a longer torso and shorter legs. He looks out of place on the field, both in build and in the way he stands quietly with no outward energy.
A sharp noise sounds, and the runners all crouch in position, and with a popping sound, they’re off.
They crowd together, and for a moment it’s hard to figure out who’s who. Pels sees a mass of jerseys and tries to pick out the white with gold and purple trim that are Nate and Dax. She holds her breath as they go down the long, straight length, and as they enter the first curve she realizes that they’ve moved from across the track into a small pack in the two inner lanes. She finally finds Dax in the middle of the pack, his curls just long enough to bounce with every step. Nate is second from the front, edging away from the pack, just behind the frontrunner dressed in red and blue.
For the first time, Pels notices Nate’s running shoes, which are a vivid gold, shining with every step, matching the stripes on his jersey.
“Go Nate! Go Dax!” Jess screams, her hands cupped around her mouth like a megaphone.
Pels realizes she’s gripping Shane tightly as the first minute passes and the first lap completes. She glances at him, and he only smiles and squeezes her fingers gently as if to say that it’s fine. She holds on tight and turns her attention back to the race.
The runner in red and blue keeps inching away from the pack, but Nate keeps up with him, staying just a step behind, so close that Pels is afraid they could trip over each other. She can see the way the runner at the lead glances back as if to see if Nate’s still there, and he always is. They move away from the main pack, and Dax moves up, sliding into the third position at the head of the middle group. Two of the runners are falling behind, the pack leaving them as they keep running through the second and third laps.
As the final lap begins, the pack has stretched out, and the results look clear cut. The runner in red and blue picks up the pace again, his face flushed, and Pels imagines she can see the stridor of his breath.
From behind, Dax puts on a burst of speed, moving into the second lane as he approaches Nate. But Nate must hear him coming, because he speeds up as well, passing the runner who was in first before Dax can. They both go flying by him as if he’s standing still, and Nate crosses the finish line just ahead of Dax. They fall on each other on the other side, holding each other up and patting each other’s backs as the crowd screams.
Cass exhales roughly.
“That’s our boys!” Jess shouts, her voice hoarse from yelling. “Go PHU!”
That was possibly the most intense three and a half minutes of Pels’s life. As the adrenalin fades, she realizes she’s still anchored with Shane’s hand around hers, and the liquid honey in her gut has warmed her all the way up to her eyeballs. She’s light-headed; as she slowly disengages and stands, she wavers until Dad props her upright.
Shane grabs his cane, bracing himself to rise as well. He reaches one hand for her shoulder. “You okay?”
“Yeah. Of course. I’m just going to—” Pels is blocked in with Shane on one side and Cass on the other. She stands carefully so she doesn’t step on the food she has resting at her feet, and she can’t go down because Jess is in front of them.
No one is sitting directly behind them, and Pels carefully climbs up to the next row in the stands. “I’m going to go pee,” she says bluntly, and heads for the stairs. She thinks there’s conversation behind her, but she doesn’t stick around to find out what it might be.
They’re sitting in her usual spot for watching practice, on the opposite side of the track from the building. She makes her way around the perimeter, and by the time she gets inside she’s breathing more evenly. “What even was that?” she grumbles.
“Were you flustered by holding hands, or by the race?” Dad grins when she glares at him. “Holding hands, then. That’s called attraction, Pels. Which you feel for Shane. Your soulmate.”
“I don’t like it.” It’s a lie, of course. That warm honey sensation was nice, just confusing. And overwhelming. Maybe she does like it, but she hates it at the same time, like something’s just slipped out of her control again.
Being on her own she can control. When it’s just her—well, and Dad—she knows what to expect. This is throwing in all kinds of variables and turning her life from simple addition into calculus. And unlike some people who are math majors, she really doesn’t enjoy calculus.
She pushes open the door of the bathroom and waits for a turn at the sink so she can wash her face and push at her hair as if she can do anything about the curls. She fingercombs them, taking them from windswept to just slightly messy, and pats everything back in place.
“Here.”
Cass stands to her left, a hair tie dangling from one fingertip. When Pels just looks at her, Cass pushes her hand closer. “Take it,” she orders. “Do something about that mop or when the wind kicks up again you’re going to lose an eye from it blowing all over. Or someone else will.” As soon as Pels cautiously takes the hair tie, Cass stands with her hands on her hips, head tilted as she looks her over critically. “Your hair is such an odd length. Do you style it?”
“It doesn’t really hold a style, so I just pick a length and run with it, and try to remember to keep it from getting too long. I’m lucky it doesn’t frizz.” It’s more like ringlets as long as she remembers to keep it from going wild. Many ringlets. Shorter ones for bangs and gradually longer down the side of her face. She can just barely pull it back into a ponytail, but it does keep the bulk of it away from her face, which isn’t a bad thing. “Thanks.”
“Hmph.” Cass tugs the scrunchy out of her own hair, running her fingers through it before braiding it quickly and tying it again. “You need all the help you can get.”
“Rude,” Dad says.
“You don’t need to take it out on me,” Pels tells her. The bathroom is less crowded now, so Pels turns to lean against the sink next to Cass, figuring if someone needs it, they’ll tell her to move. “I get it. You’re cranky.”
Cass pulls lip gloss out of her bag and leans closer to the mirror, pursing her lips before carefully putting it on. “You don’t know me, and I don’t know what you think about me—”
“You don’t like Dax doing track.”
Cass straightens quickly, hand falling as she looks at Pels. No, not looking—staring. Pels feels as if Cass is trying to look through her and see her squishy guts on the inside. Pels crosses her arms and glares back.
“I’m right,” Pels says.
“So what if you are?” Cass counters.
“You could talk about it.” Pels shrugs one shoulder. “I mean, I already know you’re angry, so it’s not like you’ll lose any points if you bitch about it. And you’ve already got acting like a complete bitch nailed so far, so.” She shrugs again. “Just go for it already.”
“I just don’t understand why he has to take up another sport,” Cass mutters under her breath. She puts away the lip gloss and pulls out mascara, touching up her lashes. “He’s so busy with football in the fall, and with everything going on—” She cuts off. “I just thought that maybe we’d get a break this spring. That we could spend more time together. And now he’s got practice every afternoon and he’s spending extra time working with Nate, and he hasn’t got any time left for me.”
“So you’re jealous,” Pels says quietly.
“You do understand human emotion,” Dad observes.
It’s always easier to see something from the outside, especially something like this. Besides. Being angry because something’s out of her control is a feeling that Pels is intimately familiar with, and it’s not difficult to recognize it in Cass.
“Dax is really good at it,” Pels says slowly. “I mean, he and Nate took first and second in that race and made it look easy. When they started passing that guy, he couldn’t keep up. There was nothing anyone else could do, and it looked like if he’d tried, Dax and Nate would’ve passed him anyway. Aren’t you proud of your boyfriend?”
“Hmph.” Cass tucks her mascara away and leans on the edge of the sink, looking down.
Pels isn’t sure if sad is better than angry.
“I thought you were all tiny, sharp angles.” Cass’s voice is sharp, but muted. “Where’s this sympathy coming from?”
“Oh, I suck at people, and yes, I know what it’s like to be angry all the time. Which means you are a person I suck a little less at getting because you might not be small, but you try to keep a barbed wire fence around yourself,” Pels shoots back. She smirks because Cass’s scowl means she’s got it right. “Besides. I like Nate. He’s not trying to steal your boyfriend. I don’t think he could if he tried. I mean. Would any guy who doesn’t love you to the moon and back put up with your shit?”
Dad laughs loud enough that Pels winces. “Now who’s being rude?” He sounds proud of her for it.
Cass huffs. “Whatever. I need a coffee. Come on.”
Somehow Pels ends up with a coffee in each hand while Cass carries two as well. When they make their way back to the bleachers, Cass shoves one of her cups towards Jess. “Here,” she says, before dropping a small bag of sugar, cream, and stirrers on the bench next to her.
Pels gives one of hers to Shane, then opens her cup enough to inhale. It’s a small cup, which isn’t nearly enough caffeine in her opinion, but it is warm on her hands. She cradles it, enjoying the warmth more than the taste for the moment.
Shane adds cream to his coffee, while Jess adds both sugar and cream. As Shane sits back, he leans closer to Pels, and she leans into his warmth before she thinks better of it. Shane shifts his coffee to the hand further from Pels, then lifts his arm.
“He’s offering to keep you warm,” Dad points out.
“Oh,” Pels exhales. She slides the few millimeters closer to Shane, his warmth heavy against her side as he drops his arm over her shoulder and somehow tucks her even closer.
It’s not awful.
It might even be good.
Jess is screaming at someone in purple and gold that Pels doesn’t recognize, standing up and punching the air when they finish the race in second place. Pels keeps close to Shane to avoid being touched, relaxing as Jess settles down again.
Jess somehow seems to know more people on the track team than any of them, and she keeps up a running commentary through the afternoon. She even manages to pull Cass into conversation, begrudging as it seems. Pels uses the time to just watch them all, and eventually eat the remains of her hot dogs and fries, which are still somehow good when cold.
By the time the final race comes up, and Nate and Dax line up for the 5k, Pels can almost ignore the fact that her butt is cold and a little numb from sitting too long. She knows there’s only fifteen minutes more to watch, and around the track most of the teams are already cleaning and packing gear.
As they start, there are more than twenty runners on the track, spread out across, bunching up as they all try and make it to the inner lane. Somehow Nate and Dax are in the middle of the pack. Pels clenches her hands together tightly to see them there, walled in by bodies all around them. But both Dax and Nate seem relaxed, running easily through the first lap.
It’s not an exciting race for most of it. There comes a point about halfway through where some of the pack fall behind, maybe a half dozen racers trailing the rest. Another lap, and a few more fall away, until only a handful remain in a tight group at the head.
One of the racers makes his move with three laps to go, pulling away and putting several paces between himself and the pack. Nate moves up as well, taking the space between him and the pack, and Pels can see the plan clearly after the earlier race. When the final lap begins, Nate starts pushing around the outside, forcing the runner in first to speed up. Dax comes out of the pack, stride lengthening just enough to keep him close to the frontrunners along with one other racer. By halfway through the lap, it’s obvious that unless someone else makes a move now, these four are vying for the top spots.
When they hit the straightaway, Dax somehow seems to go into overdrive, head down just a little as he pushes past both Nate and the other runner. Nate glances at him, and joins him, loping a half step behind him, leaving the others in the dust even as he’s losing ground when Dax somehow sprints through the final run. Dax slows after he crosses the line, and Nate catches up, and together they walk around the ring, Nate’s arm slung across Dax’s shoulder.
Pels joins her friends in jumping up and screaming, because that seems to be the right thing to do.
Cass grabs her phone and fires off a text. “Come on. They’ll meet us at Teas Please, because no one ever seems to have anywhere else to go.”
Dad bumps into Pels, and she stumbles forward, hands reaching out. For a moment she’s afraid she’s either going to fall into Jess or over the bench and crack her head open on the one below, then Shane’s arms wrap around her, pulling her back against him.
“You okay?” he murmurs, breath warm against her ear.
Pels’s cheeks heat up. “Yeah. I’m fine,” she says.
Jess bites her lip and turns away. There’s an uncomfortable twist in Pels’s gut, like she knows she’s done something wrong and it wasn’t even her fault.
“Sometimes I’m a klutz,” she says, which isn’t the whole truth, but isn’t a lie either. Cass wasn’t there for the guardian angel reveal, and Pels isn’t sure she’s ready to be that out to the school about her Talent yet. “Thanks for the save.”
“If I hadn’t, Jess would’ve,” Shane says. He grabs his cane, and Pels thinks he’s favoring his leg as he inches down the row to the stairs.
“And that’s my fault,” she mutters. “Good job, pushing people around until they get hurt.”
“If you’d just—”
“Stay out of it,” she hisses under her breath, cutting Dad off. “Don’t try to help.”
“Whatever it is you’re talking about, rest assured that I wasn’t trying to help,” Cass says idly. “But you’re in my way, so just keep moving and we can get out of here.” She gives Pels a little nudge.
They make it out of the bleachers without further mishap. The teams have somehow already managed to leave the field, and Cass is half focused on her phone and half on walking, giving small reports on the status of Nate and Dax as they move along. They have to cross campus entirely to get to Teas Please, and Nate and Dax manage to catch up with them before they do so.
Dax picks Cass up and kisses her, one hand in her hair and one on her ass as Cass wraps her legs around him to hold on. Pels can’t figure out how Cass could possibly be insecure in that relationship.
Nate, on the other hand, wears his heart on his sleeve when he watches the way Dax greets Cass. Despite the smile he pastes on as they walk into Teas Please, Pels can see that he’s still wistful.
God, when she actually looks, apparently she can see people being emotional. She blames this entirely on Dad. She can barely handle her own emotions; she really doesn’t want to have to deal with everyone else’s as well.
Speaking of… Pels twists and looks behind herself. Where the hell did Dad even go? Is she actually being let out on her own?
“I don’t have your table.” Serina looks up as soon as they enter, her brow furrowed. There are bags under her eyes, and she pauses long enough to yawn before she grabs a stack of menus. “How many—” She counts under her breath, then nods quickly. “Okay. Six. I’m sorry, I can’t get the booth, but we can pull a couple tables together in the front. It’s like everyone who was at your meet came in here all at once, and there’s a group from UAlbany at the big back table, and I just—”
“It’s okay.” Nate lays a hand on Serina’s shoulder and she just stops dead, shoulders slumping like a string’s been cut. “Hey,” he says softly. “Have you been sleeping?”
She shrugs one shoulder. “Sometimes. Maybe. Mostly. I don’t know. It’s weird. Everything’s weird, y’know? I’m just kind of tired and over everything, and it’s a bit much, and I just need Carolyn to come back and then everything will be okay. I think I failed a test this week.”
Everyone’s still missing. It’s been a week, and there’s been no sign of Nikita.
And Pels just somehow… forgot.
Not entirely. She’s seen Rory seeming lost without Alaric around, and Kit looking much the same. But it slips from her mind in the times between, not affecting her the same way it affects them.
She feels bad about that.
“They’ll be back,” Nate says firmly. “I’m sure of it. Carolyn would never leave you and Kit behind.”
“Besides,” Dax says. “Orson’s not settled. I can still feel his unfinished business.” He taps the side of his head. “Which means Alaric has to come back, or I’ll kill him myself, then yell at his ghost.”
“Honestly,” Cass mutters. “Can’t we have one meal without drama?”
“Hey.” Shane catches Pels’s hand. “Can we talk for a minute? Before we go in?”
They’re already in, crowded into the space around the podium at the front of the restaurant. But Pels nods and lets Shane tug her back outside, as the others go on to claim space inside Teas Please.
“I forgot,” she says with a low sigh. “Nikita’s missing, and I forgot.”
“Are you worried?” Shane asks, and when she nods, he keeps going, “then it’s fine. It’s like grieving. It doesn’t happen all the time, and you have to keep living your life, too. She’ll be back. They’ll be back.” He drops her hand and takes a step back, leaning on his cane. “I just wanted to ask you something.”
Pels glances to her right and left. Dad’s still suspiciously missing, and she doesn’t know why. Being on her own is unusual. “Okay,” she says slowly.
“You went out with Jess.” Shane leans back, letting the front wall of the restaurant take his weight. “And I’d like you to go out with me. Just us. On a date.”
“I feel like you guys are trying to woo me,” Pels grumbles. “Like you set up some kind of a plan to tag team to tame the wild thing—” She cuts off as his expression twists into something rueful. “You did. You totally did.”
“Maybe a little,” Shane admits. “Still. What do you think? I just—I feel like we should give this a chance.”
This.
She doesn’t look down at her wrist, but she knows the ink is there.
Dad’s nowhere around, but she can still hear his voice saying, “He’s right. Just give it a chance,” or maybe, “going out with Jess didn’t kill you, did it?”
It’s funny how he impacts her life without even being present.
She sighs heavily, crossing her arms. “Fine.”
“Fine?”
“Fine,” she repeats. “Okay. Yes. Fine. We’ll go on a date. That is not a group thing like this. You can even hold my hand since obviously touching you is not destroying my soul any more than it already has.”
“We don’t want to destroy your soul,” Shane says quietly. He carefully stands again, balanced with one hand on his cane and the other held out to Pels. She slips her hand in his and matches his pace as they walk in.
They may not want to destroy her soul, but they could. It’d be so easy, and Pels is so used to it. Every time she gets used to something it’s snatched away.
And this time Dad isn’t even here telling her that maybe it’s okay, that maybe this time everything will turn out just fine.

I tried the Private Selection Sweet Hawaiian Hot Dog Buns and these were pretty good.
These were convection ovened to toast a little bit. The hot dog bun were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.
The hot dog bun was a little sweet but not overly sweet to me.
These buns were light tasting.
I would eat these again.
Got at Kroger Clearence.

FIC: My Private Happiness ch.2 (baon)
Summary: Dealing with the world's bullshit is exhausting, especially when that bullshit includes Red's bro. Stretch and Edge finally went on a damn date and all Red can hope for now is they don't fuck it up, 'cause he's got his own shit to handle, thanks, lots and lots of handling.

Notes:
So now we can see the behind the scenes after Pillars of Creation, Edge and Stretch’s first ’date’.
While those two were feeling there way through their emotions, Sans and Red were feeling their way through a little more literally. 😉
Part of the ‘by any other name’ series.

Someone was in his house.
Since the boss moved out, Red was gettin’ used to living on his own. Spending his morning kicking his way through trash and balled up socks, and his nights scarfing down fast food, leaving the wrappers to molder behind the sofa in between the days he headed over to his bro’s place to raid the fridge.
Tonight, he was full of Pap’s cooking…no, Edge, it was Edge now. Funny, innit, how easy it was to toss his own name into the trash, but his thoughts still slipped up sometimes when it came to his bro.
Point was, he didn’t have a little brother in his house to trip over anymore or demand he get his ass up and out to his sentry post ‘fore Undyne caught him slackin’. He lived on his own and he fucking well liked it.
So whoever it was that decided hangin’ out in his living room was a good life choice was gonna figure out what a mistake they’d made getting’ up this morning real fast.
Red kicked off his shoes on the doormat that his bro left when he moved out, not looking in the direction of that presence. He yawned, scrubbing an idle hand over his face, then he whipped around and sent out an attack, light on the intent but enough to get someone’s attention right quick. Turned out that any intent was a bad idea and weren’t they lucky-loos that Sans sidestepped the bones easily. Sans was a dick but that didn’t mean Red woulda been happy to bring him home to Papyrus in a jar.
“the fuck you doin’ in my house,” Red growled. The house was plenty warm, he kept the temp higher than when Edge was living here, but he kept his jacket on, shoving his hands into the pockets as he glared at Sans.
Not that it had any effect, course it fucking didn’t. Sans sidesteps dirty looks as easily as attacks, his grin mild and unoffended as he said, “you’re late. s’friday.”
Fuck him if it wasn’t. Friday was when they got together for their weekly review of the local gossips, plus whatever goods they needed to discuss outside of the Embassy’s listening walls, and Red woulda remembered that if it weren’t for the fact that Edge and Stretch were finally taking their first uncertain step towards the fucking that they should’ve been doing for ages now.
Eh, it was more than that, though, wasn’t it. If it were just fucking, Red wouldn’t give a shit. Something about the honey bun, though. Wasn’t real obvious, ‘cept to him and maybe Sans, but if he saw, Sans kept his cards tucked in close to his chest. Could only see it if you knew how to look right and it was kinda nice to take a peek at someone’s soul and see somethin’…nice, for a change. Somethin’ that could be good for his brother, if he could pry his skull out of his pelvis long enough to get ahold of it.
For Sans, all Red had was a one-shouldered shrug. “’bout the only new news i got is that edge and stretch finally went out tonight. my bro only just got home.”
Sans only looked all the more amused, his grin ticking upward on one side as he tucked hands into his hoodie pockets, turning himself into Red’s more saintly mirror image. Course, if anyone took the lack of demon eye lights and sharp teeth as a clue that Sans was on the side of the angels, they deserved what they got.
“sounds like the date didn’t go too bad then, huh?” Sans asked,
“heh. well, they didn’t fuck, if that’s what you were hopin’ for.” If Red were perfectly honest, that probably wasn’t on the table for a while yet. For all their vicious flirting, Edge never did show much of an interest in getting pelvic with anyone so far and Red was kinda hoping that wasn’t a dealbreaker for the honeybun.
“no one was laying odds on that,” Sans snorted. “they goin’ out again?”
“according to my bro’s phone record, they are.” And from what he saw, this time the date was Edge’s choice. Might have to keep an eye on that and make sure he didn’t invite the honey bun over for fucking crosswords or deep-cleaning the carpet, some shit like that. Didn’t have to get pelvic, but shit, Edge would have to do a little better to entertain Stretch. Speakin’ of pelvises… Red licked his teeth and asked, “you wanna talk about my bro’s dating habits or you wanna try somethin’ else? think it’s your turn, sansy.”
Anyone else might’ve tucked tail and ran at that little insinuation. Sans only shrugged and some people would call the gleam in his eye lights sadistic. Red wasn’t one of ‘em, but he still frowned when Sans said, easily, “could do both.”
Yeah, okay, they probably could, if they really fuckin’ had to and Red guessed they did, because he wasn’t about to let Sans win that one even if thinkin’ about his baby bro alongside sex about made his libido crawl back into his soul.
It was the work of minutes to get settled on the sofa, his shorts pulled down to the tops of his femurs and soon enough Sans’s head was bobbing in Red’s lap as he sucked his cock with lazy enthusiasm. Red sighed, setting a hand on the back of Sans’s skull. Not really guiding, just letting him make his way downtown, homeward bound, the magic of his formed mouth slick and his tongue cushiony plush as it wound around the shaft.
“know somethin’? if the honey bun hurts my bro, i’m gonna kill him,” Red said, with enough relish to top one of those cheap-ass hot dogs Sans was so fucking fond of. He couldn’t hold back a gasp as Sans hummed thoughtfully, choking out, “could do it easy. make it look like an accident, no one’d ever guess.”
Sans pulled off, licking his teeth and leaving behind a film of pink. “no, you won’t.”
“you sure?” Red teased. Abruptly, he remembered that Stretch put in an offer to Sans once for something like this. Probably only wanted some friendly touchy-feely, the honey bun leaned towards desperate the first few months after they got here, but it still happened, even if Sans told him no. He tried to pull Sans’s head back down, the cold air on his wet dick wasn’t exactly pleasant, but he resisted.
“course i’m sure.” Sans rolled essentially his entire face before he leaned down and swiped his tongue messily across the head of Red’s dick. “if you were making murder plans, you wouldn’t’ve told me.”
Huh. That made too much sense and Red sank back, disgruntled. “you blowin’ me or not?”
“guess if that’s the only two options, i’ll stick with column a.”
“i got your column right here,” Red grumbled. Sans’s chuckle was reduced to a low groan as Red pushed back between his teeth into the plush softness of his mouth. Hearing it made him itch for more, made him want to shove Sansy off and get him on his knees, tear those shorts off him and see how lazy he was when Red was riding him like a bastard, rutting against him while he choked out those little groans until they went strangled and whining.
But that ain’t the deal, is it.
Red let his head drop back, clenching his own groans back behind his teeth as Sans worked him with that sweet, hot mouth, and let his mind go blank.
He’d done enough thinking for one night.

What food is the most well-liked?
Published On:- 08-18-2022
Americans are united by their love of pie and fried chicken despite their differences. According to a YouGov survey, fried chicken nuggets are the most popular food in the US. However, just 2.3 billion chicken nuggets were consumed in restaurants in 2018. This indicates that chicken nuggets have recently lost popularity. So you can make your own if you want to, primarily if you reside outside of the United States and wish to attempt making one of America's most well-liked delicacies at home. Additionally, the majority of these items are not difficult to prepare.
For instance, hot dog is a traditional American food. The hot dog was initially a sausage sandwich served in a bun. A century ago, they were frequently advertised with the phrase "hot, hot," and it quickly rose to the top of the list of most popular dinners in America. The word meaning dog in German is where the phrase "hot dog" originates.
Even though some Americans dislike spicy cuisine, others find it comfortable. For instance, Nashville hot chicken has a fiery history. A disgruntled lover once offered Prince cayenne pepper in the 1800s. So Prince created a hot chicken restaurant in Nashville after eating it and falling in love with it.
In the south, biscuits and gravy are also standard. They are available practically wherever that serves breakfast. Cornbread is another component of southern American cuisine. This can be done with veggies and can be either sweet or savory.
Peanuts were exported from South America to Europe and nations in central Asia around the beginning of the 20th century. John Harvey Kellogg patented a method for making salt-and-peanut-paste during this time. This process has traditionally been regarded as the origin of peanut butter. Julia Davis Chandler published the first peanut butter and jelly sandwich recipe in 1901. This time-honored meal is still widely consumed today. If you want to make a distinctive and tasty dish, think about adding peanut butter.
This list is not all-inclusive and contains some personal preferences. For instance, while the concept of "popularity" in and of itself is somewhat arbitrary, empirical evidence supports it. I gathered the information from other sources (many of which are cited) and other lists, but after reviewing the list, I tend to concur. The recipes I have for each item on this list are also linked below.
The roast lunch, a traditional British meal, was typically eaten as a family. The roast pork was served as the main course. Typically, mashed swede and diced potatoes make up the sides. It was often consumed during the winter and accompanied by custard or vanilla ice cream. Rolled oats, ground almonds, and other nuts are frequently added to crumbles with other well-liked fruits. As I get older, food statistics fascinate me more and more. I enjoy learning about the most well-liked dishes in the US and worldwide.

Wienery, 18 July 2018, National Hot Dog Day
We got time for story time? I got time for story time. Let’s do story time. Once, back when Daddy Charlie was dating ex number four, he and ex number four went to the Wienery and Charlie ordered a pair of slaw dogs, there called Clevelands. Fourth ex ordered French fries. (This is why I’m a bad son: I can’t remember my mother’s birthday but I can remember what an ex girlfriend ordered at a hot dog joint two or three years ago.) Anyway, something about the dogs wasn’t sitting right with me and I started feeling a bit grody while I ate my second dog in the car on the way to Target. No 4 kept telling me to just stop eating it, just throw it out the window but it was too good and I kept telling her, no, I could make it. She told me she didn’t want me getting sick so just stop eating it already. We got to the parking lot and I’m burping and groaning and No 4 keeps telling me to throw it out and I’m finally like, “OK.” We get in to Target and No 4 goes to the customer service counter to return something, I walk over to a waste basket, look over my shoulder, see No 4 is occupied with the lady at the counter, and tuck the fucking dog in my mouth. We’ve established this about me: All my partners are smarter than me and I am a glutton. Anyway, I’ve been to the Wienery a few times since and never put myself in any distress, so it must have been something else. Since today is National Hot Dog Day, according to Twitter (@CharliePauken), I decided I wanted to get a really good hot dog. I didn’t want a chili dog since I’ve been eating those for dinner all week - when you live alone, one can of chili dog sauce lasts a lloonngg time - and I didn’t want a plain dog, Walkin’ Dog didn’t have any “holiday specials”, so I checked out the menu at the Wienery, even though I already know it alright, checked the Google Map, ten minute bike ride away, looked at the non-dog part of the menu and saw “Philly Cheese Steak”. How had I not seen their cheesesteak before? Well now I had to go, it’s been eons since I last had a cheesesteak. So I get to go here, get a hot dog on the appropriate holiday and also get a cheesesteak. A cheesesteak. I had practically given up on ever finding one again. OH. RAPTUROUS. JOY. I biked over there, there was only on other person in there, I must have missed the lunch rush. The guy behind the counter helped me out right away. I got the Cleveland, the cheesesteak, and fountain drink. (I opted for Mello Yello. Mello Yello, For When You Want Mountain Dew But All They Have Are Coke Products. Mello Yello, For When You Look At Coca-Cola Down At The End And You Think, “Meh.” Mello Yello, Because You Know The Chances Of Blowing The Bag Are Pretty Nil Compared To The Others. Mello Yello, Because These Diabetes Aren’t Going To Develop On Their Own. Mello Yello, Because, Look, You Just Felt Like It, Alright?) It took me one solve of my 3x3 Rubik’s Cube and one solve of my 2x2 Rubik’s Cube and then the guy brought my food over. Let’s start with the slaw dog. The Vienna Beef frank had a salt-cure tone riding on top of a rich umami underneath and the coleslaw was creamy and tangy and, almost most importantly, crisp. The poppy seeds on the bun were pretty much there for aesthetics. The cheesesteak gets points docked only because they don’t use Cheez Whiz (and whatever this was* was there I think just for the dreaded “stretchiness factor” because it sure wasn’t there for flavor). Otherwise, the meat possessed a rich flavor under a perfectly balanced seasoning and the onions and peppers were chunked largely and perfectly grilled, imbuing a semi-sweetness to the sandwich. It was also large enough that I wasn’t sure I would finish it three quarters of the way through. I griped yesterday about my ten dollar lunch and today I’ll sing about my ten dollar lunch: A slaw dog, a cheesesteak, and a fountain drink with refills. I am completely satisfied with what I ate. I was overdue to bully review the Wienery and there was honestly no better day than today. Go to the Wienery where they got six kinds of franks served sixteen ways. It’s the best decision you can make. As long as you don’t tell your doctor about it. Because he looks at you funny for eating potato chips once a week. Imagine the look he’ll give you if he finds out you’ve been eating nothing but fucking hotdogs since Monday. He’d positively go into fits of apoplexy. Go to the Wienery. Don’t tell your doctor.
* I was going to do the Sysco joke again but I can’t say for sure that it is and Sysco would seem to run contrary to the literature on the “About” page of their site. So let’s hope.
