Jeremy, it's hard to put into words how I feel after seeing you perform yesterday. The way you embody each character you play inspires and amazes me. I had the privilege to watch you become Kendall Roy and now seeing you as Dr. Thomas Stockman. I cried, I laughed, I sat there with so much admiration because there's no better actor than you. I am truly speechless. Just to be in your presence is a gift. I have so much respect for your craftsmanship. I hope I can one day embody the art of performing the way you captivate us. TMD WEEK DAY 7: Parallels

After a small setback, the Don’t Bothers are headed to their first game in the state championship tournament in The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers‘ season finale (streaming Friday, May 28).

This week’s episode saw the team dealing with some classic teenage drama when Evan and Sofi took different dates to a dance party instead of just admitting they really liked each other. Plus, Coach T ratted out Bombay to the American Youth Hockey Association and a hearing was held to determine whether he was eligible to coach the team after being banned from the NCAA. In the end, Evan and Sofi cleared the air, and Bombay (with help from Alex) was cleared to lead the Don’t Bothers in the championship games.

The episode set the stage for a high-stakes finale that may see the squad go head-to-head with their rivals, the Ducks. Sway Bhatia, who plays Sofi, teases plenty of action in the final episode of the season. There will be “a lot of hockey playing” and a lot of “important decisions that we have to make,” she tells TVLine.

The finale will also see Sofi continue to deal with a lingering knee injury, which she’s been nursing for most of the season. She draws strong parallels to Adam Banks (played by Vincent LaRusso in the Mighty Ducks films), who also came from an elite youth hockey team and suffered a nagging wrist injury after being struck with a hockey stick. Sofi got to meet said counterpart in the reunion episode from earlier this season, in which the OG Ducks were honored at a gala.

“It was cool getting to meet the other me — and you’ll see in Episode 10, we do a little surprising thing where we pull out our inner OG Duck,” Bhatia shares. “I think there are many connections [to Banks] in the storyline, but Sophie is also her own person and she does have her differences.”

Namely, Sofi is a young Indian girl, and her cultural identity plays a significant role in her story. “When I first got the audition, it said on her description that she is going to be an Indian hockey player, [and] that was so uplifting to me,” Bhatia recalls. “It really empowered me, seeing that this character is going to be an Indian girl.”

The young actress concludes by noting that Sofi’s story in the early episodes — her parents pushing her to get straight As so she can get into Harvard — was, yes, “a little bit of an Indian stereotype.” But she loves that Sofi “got right out of that and became [her] own person.

“She wants to get good grades, but she doesn’t want to be pressured by it to the point where she has to go to Harvard or she has to be on the Ducks, where it’s all about winning,” Bhatia adds. “She can just be herself now and play the sport she loves the way she loves.”

The music we are creating is... Our next EP has taken a journey into self criticism and understanding, while also exploring a lot of new directions musically. We took this second album as an opportunity to open up and just express what we felt both as people and musicians. The instrumentals range from shoegaze to heart-pounding punk rock and articulate emotional ideals that we all deal with daily. This album is all about self discovery and being open to whatever feels right and we're just lucky to share those ideas with our listeners.

Right now we are... preparing to release the new EP, "Ghost to Ghost" and also going on tour June 16-22. We'll be visiting several south/central Texas cities and releasing the album on all digital platforms June 14th. We really can't wait to share all the new music!

A culmination of all the musical genres that have ignited my passion for music in the very first place. I think I will look back and think of this song as one I HAD to produce in order to move on to other things. It's the most reflective of my artistic voice. I grew up loving all forms of music, but I've always been partial of music that can make you move. Genres that were energetic by nature (Jazz, Funk, & Hip-Hop) have always had a soft spot in my heart. Electrocute is the one track on The Jazzmen Invasion that combines all 3 of those genres & applies them to their fullest effect. In it, I channel 1/3 Eminem, 1/3 Prince, & 1/3 Frank Sinatra; a blend that could be hard to swallow. I always tell people my genre of music is neither jazz nor funk, it's Jazz+Funk. So I see that a lot more songs in my future would build off of the Electrocute formula.

Currently… I've put together an outfit of wonderful musicians who I've reached out to help me re-interpret the music on the EP to a wider live audience. We are Funk Sway, the driving force of the Jazzmen Invasion. With a band of musicians that I trust to carry out my vision with me, new music, & subsequently, new music videos, social media content, etc. will also be inevitable. I am working on building the NOVA movement one song at a time.

  There was a gargantuan wave of musical mayhem emanating from Sunburn Arena in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad over the weekend. Fresh from topping this year's Top 100 DJ Mag Poll, Belgian DJ duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike delivered a stellar India Take Over 2019 Tour for the 13th edition of Asia's largest music festival, Sunburn presented by Percept Live; with the tens of thousands, all swaying, jumping, and dancing in unison to the earth-shattering beats and adrenalizing melodies.

Scorching the ceiling of the 15,000 plus capacity stadiums with their roof-raising line-up accompanied by one of the most impressive stage concepts ever seen in the world of electronic music, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike delivered a spectacle across 4 sold-out nights giving fans, a truly mesmerizing audio and visual feast. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, alongside a range of opening acts that included Anish Sood,Ritviz, Angemi,Shaan, Greff, Basspatch, Basshunk, Olly Esse, Omen, Siana Catherine and Shiva Manvi illuminated buzzing music fans throughout the entire weekend's proceedings with what many were calling the most insane event of the year!

Making a special appearance backstage in Mumbai was leading actress, Tamannaah Bhatia who has enjoyed a successful year in the South with top grossing films, who joined the duo in Mumbai today.

The level of surprises and musical magic was kept and maintained at a constant high ensuring that the atmosphere of each arena showcase never failed to disappoint the up-for-it crowd. The jaw-dropping mainstage show was a sight to behold with an array of visuals, Co2 cannons, pyrotechnics, special effects and much much more, wowing the insatiable crowd throughout the entire night.

The tour kickstarted on 7th November at Ozone Urbana in Bengaluru followed by CMR Arena in Hyderabad followed by Backyard Sports Club in Delhi NCR and culminated at Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai on 10th November.
