Digging further into the concept of swapverse! With a scene from underverse episode 0.3! Fun but painful to draw AHA..

Okay so I spent a lot of time in this drawing, most of it was because I was heavily experimenting and more often than not I would come to a stop and say “okay so what now”.

UHM, ANYWAY HI, this is a thing I made for a private vampire AU, say hi to Halluciv (swapverse Nightmare), yes he’s the king of vampires, no he doesn’t actually rule like one. He’s just a silly little guy that roams in the forests. Vampires are absolutely TERRIFIED of him tho (and for good reason).

Why Good Morning Darlin~

Name: Zap Apple 

Element: Magic

Talent: Magical Engineering

Many feel as though earth ponies in equestria have been given the short end of the stick, Zap Apple being one of them, but you’ll never hear her complain about it. No matter what those fancy schmancy city ponies think earth pony magic ain’t broke so there’s no reason to go around fixing it. She understands the value of family and team work but often struggles asking for help. Whether physical or magical, she’ll never turn down a chance to show her work ethic. That isn’t to say Zap doesn’t love to learn and evolve, she is deeply passionate about finding ways to make life more efficient while still holding on to the value of hard work. In fact she’s so eager to learn that it can be overbearing at times, especially when most unicorns she lives around look down on her cause. Not only this, but as you may be able to tell from her constantly broken glasses, she doesn’t care much for frilly, impractical things. Which some might say is what Canterlot is all about. She’s somepony anypony can rely on but Queen Piercing Gale saw how out of place she was in her kingdom. There was no doubt she could make friends and learn many lessons on the way but it was necessary to send her out somewhere more diverse, where other ponies would be receptive to ideas and she could see the value of taking ideas from others without conforming them to her worldview.

Ponyville is an epicenter of diversity. Farming earth ponies, weatherpony pegasi, and magical unicorns. At the outskirts of the town lies a large greenhouse and a humble yet storied cottage home. There lives Wildberry. With a unicorn patriarch and earth pony matriarch, Twilight Gardens Greenhouse (named after Night Light’s mother, Granny Twilight Twinkle) combines their strengths and grows all kinds of magical herbs. Ponies knock on their doors night and day for pastes and cures. Wildberry is endlessly passionate about the magic and science behind growing plants. It comes so natural to her earth pony brothers but she’s spent every waking moment since she was a foal practicing and studying, you could say she was a bit of a filly prodigy. She’s known to be incredibly stubborn and honest to a fault, she knows she’s smart and believes her ways are the best. To not point out to ponies that what they’re doing is wrong, in her eyes, is actively harmful even if the pony doesn’t really appreciate it. Despite her insistence on doing things her way she’s prone to extreme bouts of anxiety where it feels like the world is falling apart around her. With her parents gone, caring for her younger sister and her elderly (yet spry) grandmare, it often does feel like she has the weight of the world on her shoulders.

Name: Sweet Chorale 

Element: Generosity 

Talent: Wedding Seamstress 

Sweet Chorale, Sweetie as she’s known to her friends, is often compared to a carousel. She goes round and round every day, looking like a dream while she does it. With her own personal flair that keeps brides to be coming in, she also has a flair for the dramatics. Sweetie longs for her own once in a lifetime love some day, she can be a little too persistent on the subject, for herself and others as well. She believes that every couple deserves a fairytale wedding and that perfect attire is part of that! If you want a job done right you ought to do it yourself and Sweet Chorale takes on everything and anything, how she stays so well kept during all of it is a mystery. She sometimes makes promises no normal pony could keep and puts off taking care of herself to get it done. On top of this, she is often counsel and a shoulder to cry on for her clients. The same clients who will often bring their little ones. She loves nothing more than letting them be a part of the process, helping their guardian pick accessories for their special day, and designing them lovely ring bearer/flower foal outfits of their own. At her core she’s concerned with others first and foremost.

Princess Esper is the type of pony who turns heads whenever she walks in the room. Despite only being the sovereign of the Crystal Empire compared to the entirety of Equestria, she is by far the most popular princess and the sociable face of the kingdom. Renowned both for her beauty and her intelligence she has the ability to command a room with natural leadership. This isnt to discount the thing she's most famous for. Which is her incredible beauty. She highly values her appearance and the appearance of her kingdom. Her domain is the magic of inspiration, this, along with her special connection to the crystal heart allow her to access a wide variety of spells that beautify the empire. However, she doesn't just use delegation and magic to complete this task. Esper may be the spitting image of a princess with perfect ettiqutte and luxury in her every step, but she is also incredibly generous. She is beloved by even the most small and shy of her citizens because of her willingness to dirty her hooves with work. Much of her vast wealth goes to projects that will benefit her little ponies in addition to the ponies themselves. Even if it means sacrificing some of her beauty. Whether by giving so much away she cant afford her spa treatments or by cutting off her tail to help a sea serpent in need. Some criticize her vanity and say that "creative inspiration" isn’t all that important to the wellbeing of the Crystal Empire. Any pony who truly knows her can see that she doesn't just inspire creatively but inspires the crystal ponies to be kinder to their fellow equine.

A greater stain on the princess' reputation is the guard pony she took as a wife. Cosmic Crisp is much like a tree. Stoic, quiet, and hard skinned. She is known by most ponies to be much less approachable than her wife. This is because shes thrown herself into the study of earth pony magic, it doesn't simply come natural to her as it does for her younger sister Zap Apple. So much of her waking life is dedicated to warping crystalline trees and soil for the protection of the empire. Despite her lack of people skills it's as clear as day that she has a wielding of the earth almost on level with a princess, so she quickly rose the ranks of the royal guard. Her valor comes not just from a love for her family but a deep sensitivity rumbling just below the surface. Cosmic doesn't like to show it but she's deeply sentimental. She holds onto many things from the childhood of herself, Zap Apple, and their adopted diamond dog sister Wag. She often compares herself to the other creatures in her life which has developed into a deep seeded insecurity. Her and Zap have strain on their once close sisterhood because it caused her to self isolate and lash out. Her relationship with Esper and the gratitude of the crystal ponies for her valiant efforts has beun to help her heal. To help her see that she is valued and begin to reunite with her family. Similar to the roots of a tree gaining a community instead of hiding herself away from the world has not only strengthened her mental health, but strengthened her magic.
