Initial Research - VR Games
VR games are becoming increasingly more popular due to the multiple different options to get into this genre, some costing less than a computer. This genre allows the player to interact a lot more with the game they are playing than using a conventional display, keyboard and mouse. Players can also get haptic feedback vests that will provide them with touch feedback to anything that happens inside of the game. Here is one :
Tumblr media
With the new Quest series (1,2 and 3), its a lot easier to try VR and AR than ever. VR stands for Virtual Reality, and AR means Argumented Reality. Here is a list of a couple games that I have played and my opinions on the game :
Vader's Immortal (1, 2 & 3) -
Tumblr media
Vader Immortal is a great story driven game where the player can explore a 'Star Wars' world. The player can also fight in the game with a light saber and deflect incoming blaster bullets from enemies. Its a great game for someone who loves Star Wars. I found the graphics and the interaction to objects amazing, and is one of my favourite games on the quest (However I haven't played many quest games so I cant say its the best out there).
UltraWings -
Tumblr media
A low poly flight game, available standalone on the quest. This game is a flight simulator with some great physics. This game allowed you to fly around and complete challenges at different airports. Those challenges would then award you money that you could then spend on new planes. Its a great for people just getting into VR who want to play a flight sim game.
Pavlov Vr -
Tumblr media
Pavlov VR is a fast paced PvP shooter game where you have to go around a map and shoot other people. Its highly inspired by CS:GO and has many of the features that the game has, such as the quick shop gui. Its a great game to get used to shooting and moving around in. When I played this last, it did give you a bit of motion sickness so be careful.
Superhot -
Tumblr media
Time moves when you move. This game is amazing inside of VR, working well with VR as a whole. Any movement that you do in real life changes the speed of time inside of the game. This feature make the game so much more interactive and makes you feel like you are there. A great game for someone who is looking for a VR game to buy. The non-vr game is not as good.
VR Chat -
Tumblr media
A social game that allows people to express themselves with custom avatars and allows people to talk to other people around the world. Some people use a haptic vest like the one at the top of this blog, however they are expensive and therefore they aren't that common. This game is great for gamers who don't like to "touch grass".
Google Earth Vr -
Tumblr media
This app allows you to use Google's street view, satellite view and AI to provide you with a immersive grasp of the world. By pressing 2 buttons, you could teleport yourself to Crete. Its great for people with disabilities who cant go out and explore the world.

The Future of Gaming with AR and VR
A degree in enhanced visualization or visual effects teaches students how to manipulate images on the screen to create things that cannot be captured in real life. Training at a VFX institute in Pune will prepare you to become an expert in mastering the equivalent.
Video game consumption is no longer just limited to teenage males and girls looking for a fun diversion while taking a break from playing on the playground. People of all ages and interests have been addicted to one or more video games as a result of ground-breaking technological advancements, the prevalence of cellphones among adults, and superfast internet.
Learning about AR and VR technologies is crucial if you enjoy game creation and want to work in the field. To become a future-ready game developer, you can choose from a variety of game development courses. But first, let's learn a little more about this wonderful field.
 AR: Augmented Reality
Augmented reality is a real-world environment that has been altered by the enhancement and addition of sound, visual components, and other sensory cues. By displaying visual pictures through a phone's camera or video viewer, augmented reality (AR) enhances the real world by adding colors, virtual objects, and characters.
The most popular types of AR games include:
 1. Geo-Location Games: These games, which include treasure hunts and quests, require players to walk around the actual world while using their smartphones to find stuff.
 2. Sports games: The most well-liked ones include basketball, football, and cricket.
 3. FPS Games: By overlaying virtual foes and barriers onto real-world locations, AR improves the experience of first-person shooting games.
The most well-known augmented reality games include: Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, Pokemon GO, Jurassic World Alive, The Walking Dead: Our World, and Zombies, Run!
 VR: virtual reality
When experienced through a headset known as a virtual reality device, virtual reality is a simulated experience of a computer-generated environment with scenes and objects that seem to be real. Only the illusion of physical presence in a virtual world is provided by VR. It is a realistic simulation that requires specialized tools including computers, sensors, headphones, and gloves. Gamers' experiences are now more realistic thanks to VR. You can stroll across a virtual landscape while inhaling the flowers' scent and feeling the wind in your hair.
VR games are created for a variety of device types, including:
 1. Mobile VR for light devices (Google Cardboard)
2. High-end mobile VR (Daydream, Gear VR, etc.)
3. VR headsets for computers (such as the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Windows Mixed Reality, etc.)
4. Independent products (such as Oculus Go, Oculus Quest, etc.)
5. Sony PlayStation VR for consoles
Some of the most well-liked VR games are Beat Saber, Tetris Effect, Superhot VR, and Astro Bot Rescue Mission.
The Bridge Crew from Star Trek
The worldwide game industry is being revolutionized by both AR and VR. In such a situation, choosing the correct AR & VR Gaming Course would be essential for studying both the technology and their applications in video game development.
Maybe eventually, as these technologies develop further, gamers won't be able to distinguish between a virtual environment and reality, much way the audience at the conclusion of Inception couldn't determine if it was a dream or reality. And in fact, it is where gaming is headed.

Ill never go back to playing Elite Dangerous without VR. Sadly my hotas broke and I need a new one.
I play Skyrim in VR and probably wont go back to flatscreen to play it. Don't have nearly as many hours logged in it as the Xbox version, but it's definitely a fresh new way to play it. Bow combat is much harder, but way more satisfying and using shields is way more fun.
I started resident evil 7 with the vr mod, but it's very difficult and kinda janky. I'd be more fun on easy difficultly.
Superhot is way more fun in VR, but the vr version is a different game than the other 2.
Between work and kids, I don't get much time to game now, but when I do, I play my quest 3 almost exclusively because it's easy to just throw on and start up a game.
Also hmu if you ever want to play walkabout minigolf or hyperdash.
Does anyone actually play VR ports of regular games as anything other than a novelty? I definitely enjoy vr sometimes but it's never more than in short bursts, a few hours here and there. But like, has anyone who didn't already like the real game been like "damn fallout 4/skyrim/payday 2 was boring but this vr version is great!" I just don't think this has ever happened in real life

Finally, unsupported games flat out don’t work on the Steam Deck. Playable games are ones players have tried out, and while they work, they might have some bugs or small issues associated with them. Verified games are exactly what they sound like: Games Valve has officially started to work on Steam Deck with no issues. We will break down the list of games into three sections: verified games, playable games, and unsupported games.
#Superhot vr quest 2 full
So far, not every game on Steam has been verified to work on the handheld, so we’ve compiled a full list of what you know you can play right now on your Steam Deck. That’s assuming all your games will work on the Steam Deck. However, if it really can run all your Steam games, that extra upfront cost could be worth it to take your library of hundreds of games wherever you go. The console is an almost completely open platform and is much more powerful, though it does have a much bigger price tag attached. Marketed as a portal PC, the Steam Deck has all the potential to be a strong competitor to Nintendo’s Switch.

VRSideLoader will load the android bridge files in order to sideload your apk.
Every unsupported game confirmed on Steam Deck Follow the steps below to begin: Connect your Oculus Quest 2 to the PC and open VRSideLoader.
Every confirmed game verified for the Steam Deck.
The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is unquestionably the best all-around action experience on the Oculus Quest 2, and one you should definitely try. On Quest, the game automatically loads the next part of the level, whereas the steam version makes you walk back to the middle of your playspace. The Quest port has more settings, but it's basically the same as the steam version. Full of action, and difficult choices, you must face your fears as you work your way through its storyline. I've got it on Steam Vr and I'm seriously considering taking it wireless on the Quest as well. This immerses you in the gruesome atmosphere of being surrounded by zombies, forcing your heart to race with each step they inch closer to you. The game also comes with a compelling story as it’s a continuation of the storyline from the original game. Regardless, your goal is to survive by any means possible. Use melee weapons such as swords and axes, but if things get out of hand, you’ll have to resort to the arsenal of weaponry at your disposal. The game takes place in a walker-infested New Orleans where you must survive by any means possible. If you want to know if you’d survive a zombie apocalypse, this game will tell you. To top off our list of the best action games on the Oculus Quest 2, we have The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. If you want some intense firefight action, Onward is by far the best pick for the Oculus Quest 2.
#Superhot vr quest 2 how to
On top of that, there is a variety of guns, that you must learn how to operate if you want to utilize them in the event of battle. The game consists of 11 maps, however, there’s also a community hub where you can explore custom-made maps in the game. And if you really want to feel the adrenaline, head into VIP mode.
#Superhot vr quest 2 code
Or if you want a bit more tactical gameplay, one game mode sees you securing an area long enough to upload a code through your tablet. only an exe for HTC Vive/SteamVR etc Collection SUPERHOT VR Now that. The first one is a full-out firefight for control over an Uplink station. How to Get SteamVR working with Oculus Quest 2 and Virtual Desktop The Oculus Quest. The game features multiplayer battles with up to ten players, in three objective-based game modes. As a mil-sim, you must perfect your abilities because you will be playing with no crosshair or minimap, therefore your fate will be determined by your communication, teamwork, and pure ability to take down enemies. Its popularity and success as a VR mil-sim has continued to grow, and as a result, the game remains relevant on the Oculus Quest 2. Onward was one of the first action FPS games to be released on the original Oculus Quest, back in 2016.

Top 13 Oculus Quest Games
So I have played about 15 Oculus Quest game, and I'm going to rank them from best to worst. (Also, I am counting all 3 Vader Immortal games as one game since all of them play similar and are very short)
1. Robo Recall (Must Play)
Robo Recall may be simple, it is a lot of fun. You can destroy defective robots in almost anyway possible. The sandbox element of this game makes the gameplay very fun. This was one of the first Oculus Quest games I played, and it made me fall in love with VR. The only problem is that the game is only 2 hours. Although to fair, that’s average for a VR games
2. Beat Saber (Must Play)
I will admit, I’m not the biggest of the songs, but this game made me like them a bit more. This game really gets my body moving, and hitting blocks to the sound of the beat is really awesome. This game has quite a bit of content, which easily justifies it’s somewhat high price tag.
3. Red Matter (Must Play)
This almost took second place, but the game is only really 2 hours with no real replay value. However, the graphics are amazing for quest and the puzzles and story made exploring this abandon space station quite amazing. It Kind of reminds me of Inside, and I love that game.
4. Creed: Rise to Glory (Must Play)
This game will also gets your body moving. Boxing feel very realistic and is very fun. The graphics are ok for quest. The game is about 2 and half hours, and there is some extras worth playing.
5. Vader Immortal (1-3) (Recommended)
Presentation in all 3 games are great. I do feel apart of the star wars universe. Picking up a lightsaber in Ep1 is charming, and using the force in Ep2 fells magical. However, the game is more story driven then action driven. They also very short. This kills almost all replay value. Ep3 is the best as it the most action packed one. However, It was fairly fun time for all of them
6. SuperHot VR (Recommended)
I don’t think this is the killer app, but It is still a good time. The graphics are great, yet the game is only about an hours and a half.
7. VR Chat (Recommended)
The graphics are very poor, and this version has a lot of compatibility issues. However chatting online as still created a lot of good times for me. The game also free, so no harm no foul
8. Arizona Sunshine (Cautious)
This game 40$, that’s a lot for VR standards. However, the game is about 4 to 5 hours long, which is really good for VR. Yet the game really doesn’t have the content to justify it’s length. You seen pretty much everything one hour in. The free updates and cheap DLC help justify the price a little, but I would wait for a deal on this one. Also this game kind of ugly with graphics.
9. Job Simulator (Cautious)
Every with all the games humor, the game is kind of boring. It almost feel like an actual job sometimes. It’s at most enjoyable in short burst.
10. Sairento (Cautious)
It’s pretty much Robo Recall  with bullet sponges, and kind of bad level design. Actually, it’s Robo Recall, but worse
11. Rec Room (Cautious)
It’s like VR Chat, but with no user created content, and not that exciting games. The only thing this game has going for it, it that it’s more stable then VR Chat and a lot less user dropping F bombs.
12. Journey of the Gods (Avoid)
Graphics are great, Yet the gameplay is not very good. Swordplay is kind of awkward, and defeating enemies isn’t that satisfying. Some enemies are a pain to take down. Just not that fun.
13. Drunkn Bar Fight (Avoid)
This game has a great idea. It’s a free for all fighting game. However, one hit knock down kind of take away enjoy for the game. Also the game is very short, only being 20 minutes. All you do is play for points and that’s it. At 15$, it’s not worth it at all

Resident Evil 4 VR is the best VR game I’ve played yet, and I’ve only played the opening area. I played through a lot of the Resident Evil games on my stream, but the one that has bested me so far is Resident Evil 4, I got stuck and just haven’t beaten it yet. It has been my least favorite Resident Evil game so far after playing 7, 2, 3, 8, and 1, in that order. But I haven’t thought about returning to it until I saw a Jacob Geller video on nebula (I know, I caved, the video essayists got me).
The video went into his experience of it giving him a Ratatouille-esque experience of playing the game for the first time, and while that’s cute, I don’t have much nostalgia for the game. What sold me was his explanation of what parts of the game changed for VR, like the first person immersive gameplay style.
Up until now I’ve thought Superhot was the best VR game. It is great for getting you to see the capabilities of what VR can do while also allowing you to very literally take the game at your own speed. And you can very much play Superhot frame by frame by frame making sure you dodge all the bullets. But what makes Superhot really fun is when you’re able to play the little puzzle like bullet time scenarios at full speed because you just figured out the perfect fluid movement to win it.
And that’s been my problem with a lot of VR games so far, they are designed to acclimate you to VR and get you used to the sensation of it, and avoid motion sickness. And while it’s fun at first, the novelty wares off quick. But Resident Evil 4 VR resists this urge to baby the player, and doesn’t use precious game time teaching them how to use a VR headset. If you want to have the most fun you’ve ever had playing VR, turn on immersive combat, set your movement to fluid, and get ready to live out every zombie killing fantasy you’ve ever had.
Your handgun is on your dominant hand’s hip, you knife is on your chest, your healing item is on your shoulder opposite your dominant hand, and your ammunition is on your thigh opposite your dominant hand. You reach for your hip and grip and you are aiming down the sights as quickly as your arm is able to move. You have the red dot sight but honestly it’s more fun to actually look down the iron sights of your gun, and it is practically perfect in accuracy every time. This means stabilizing your handgun hand is a necessity if you want accurate aim, shooting from your hip is difficult and sloppy. This feels so natural and badass that it made me giddy getting to play. But here’s the hard part, you have to physically reload your weapon when your clip runs out, reach down to your thigh, pull up a new clip, and cock your gun to be able to start shooting again.
It is beyond fun while also being deeply anxiety inducing. The kind of anxiety that makes you really flinch when a villager throws an ax at you. Or the kind that has you fumbling to get your knife out because you ran out of bullets with one more headshot needed to get the enemy right in front of you.
I had to stop playing after the first area cause I did get a little motion sick, but I am so excited to throw the headset back on and get back into the game, which is the first time a VR game has really made me feel that. So if you have a quest headset and it’s been gathering dust for a while cause nothing is really fun it just all feels like novelty, Resident Evil 4 might just reignite the spark you got when you first got it.

#TELL ME HOW TO PLAY CHAINZ TWO RELOAD UPDATE#
#TELL ME HOW TO PLAY CHAINZ TWO RELOAD PC#
Manual ADB Command Methodīefore SideQuest implemented the 90Hz setting, which simplified the process, this was the original method which uses ADB commands:ģ. You can disable 90Hz by repeating the process above but pressing the Default of 72Hz buttons instead. If you turn the headset off and on again, it will revert to 72Hz and you will have to go back to SideQuest and press the 90Hz button again. Upping the refresh rate to 90Hz did not seem to have a positive impact on Solaris: Offworld Combat, for example, and if anything may have caused more variability in its performance. However, generally speaking, this may be dependent on whether an app is already ’90Hz-Ready’ or not. Games should now be running at a higher 90Hz refresh rate - we tested and confirmed that it works at a stable 90fps for both Echo VR and Beat Saber. Press the power button on the Quest once to turn the screen off, then once more to turn it back on. Click the 90Hz button under ‘Refresh Rate’, pictured below.ĥ. Press the ‘Device Settings & Tools’ button, represented by a spanner, in the top right of the SideQuest toolbarĤ.

Connect your Quest to your PC via the USB cord and confirm the headset is connected to SideQuestģ. Once that’s all sorted, here’s how you enable 90Hz for apps:Ģ. Check out our article on sideloading on Quest and follow all the instructions in the ‘Initial Setup’ section - enable developer mode, installing SideQuest and enabling debugging between your computer and Quest 2. If you’ve never sideloaded anything onto your Quest 2 before, there are a few first-time setup steps that you need to do before enabling 90Hz. Make sure you also have a USB cord to connect the Quest to your computer - any USB A to C cord (or C to C, if your computer supports it) should work. You’ll need an Oculus Quest 2 - to our best knowledge, this method will not work on the original Quest. Let us know which apps work for you in the comments below.
#TELL ME HOW TO PLAY CHAINZ TWO RELOAD UPDATE#
However, not all apps have been this proactive and so the instructions below may not work for an app that has yet to update their app in preparation of the official 90Hz release. This ensures that the apps will be able officially run at the higher refresh rate as soon as the feature is officially enabled. Many Quest developers have proactively updated their apps to make them ’90Hz-ready’, such as Echo Arena, Superhot and Virtual Desktop. The method has also been confirmed by Virtual Desktop developer Guy Godin on Reddit. However, as may other Redditors have pointed out, the process of enabling 90Hz is not exclusive to Echo Arena, and should work for many other games as well. It has since been posted to r/OculusQuest by a player from the community. The process was first outlined by an Ready at Dawn developer in the Echo Games community Discord looking for people to test 90Hz mode on Echo Arena.
