i’m on the golyn niis chapter right now and i don’t know why but it wasn’t at all the violent descriptions that got me sobbing; it was the fact that rin finally broke down after weeks of holding it in, and it was suni—broken, terrifying, gentle suni—that finds her and holds her until she calms down and it���s such an obvious parallel to altan holding him in the dining hall, back when times were simpler and more innocent, that i just HDISJBXKSJSBAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
