Arachne
Initially, Athena disguised herself as an old woman, and whilst praising the work of Arachne, also sought to have the weaver acknowledge that her gift came from the gods. Again, Arachne declined to give proper praise to Athena, and even boasted that she could best the goddess in a weaving contest.
No god or goddess of Mount Olympus would refuse such a challenge, and Athena shed her disguise, to reveal herself for who she was.
Arachne was somewhat taken aback, but she would not display any humility nor ask for forgiveness, and so the contest began.

At the end of the contest two endings are often told, both ending with Arachne hanging herself and Athena being a bit over reactive.
Arachne as Winner
Arachne wins and Athena is angered by such a decision and destroys Arachne's tapestry and then starts to beat the hell out of her with her tools. This leads Arachne to hang herself.
Arachne as Loser
Arachne can't take the pain of the loss as she was so respected in Lydia that even the nymphs came to see her! So she hangs herself.
The End
Athena loosens the noose and drips a potion Hekate gave to her over Arachne, transforming her into a spider. She didn't do this out of compassion, mind you, she did it to show the gods can never be bested.
Arachne and the Rebellious Flame
Her story is of young hubris and humility. Even though she lost (in certain retellings), Arachne still went toe-to-toe with Athena. Yes, she may have had hubris, but it wasn't without its merits. Being so young yet praiseworthy, for her skill rather then her beauty, is a sign of just how dedicated she was to her craft. She can teach us about passion, perseverance, and skill developed through time.
Much like Prometheus, Arachne was punished not for actually doing anything criminal nor morally negative, but for speaking out against the gods. They were punished for speaking a truth and challenging the highest of authority. Through their suffering we learn a valuable lesson - in spite of the consequences, speaking and acting on one's truth is the most powerful gift of all.

We all know vampires feed, but do we snack?
I imagine that would be hard for a sang. Maybe a 'hybrid' snacks on energy while they wait for blood?
Is ambient feeding a snack for the psi while they wait for a donor to deep feed?

In popular media vampires that refuse to drink human blood often go for animal blood. A rare steak versus human blood sounds like a decent snack.
Maybe mirror feeding (feeding through a scrying mirror), or dream feeding, are other ways to snack.
In my head I ponder that vampires that don't have a donor have to rely on snacking over a proper meal. Compare a bowl of rice and a few eggs to a bowl of rice, mongolian beef, and garlic string beans. They will both get you full but the later will keep you satisfied longer.

Due to new thoughts the old ones change. If someone understands some aspect in a wrong manner, his error can be warded off by showing him right thinking via logic, proof and examples. If such a person is not extremely vile behaved, indolent, incited or arrogant, it is relatively easy to help him discard wrong thinking. Ordinarily when one realizes the truth, false beliefs disappear from one’s thinking. Of course it is an entirely different story if someone persists in clinging to wrong beliefs due to selfish gains or maintaining one’s false image. Yet in the arena of beliefs and faith, one’s thoughts definitely get transformed. It is not very difficult to destroy ignorance with the aid of true wisdom.
On the other hand as far as nature, inclinations, desires, sentiments and character are concerned, they cannot be ordinarily changed. Wherever it sticks it does not move easily. Because man gets a human body, after straying in bodies of innumerable species like animals, birds, bacteria etc. his psyche has intense imprints that are animalistic in nature. His psyche overflows with various thought waves. No doubt changes do take place in these thoughts yet there is no major influence on it. When man hears sacred discourses, when he reads elevating literature and when he seriously studies the nature of the soul, he easily understands what is good or detrimental for him. He deeply realizes his errors, bad habits and weaknesses. On the intellectual front, he thinks and desires that these errors be destroyed. Many a times he criticizes himself. Yet he cannot separate himself from his vile activities gathered from past innumerable births along with his bad habits.
After reading the above lines one should not wrongly conclude that contemplation goes in vain and that it does not aid in overcoming vile psychic imprints. Instead we are trying to say that good wishes of an ordinary will power take a relatively longer time to purify one’s psyche. Its speed is very slow and many a times it encounters despair and hopelessness. And yet if good wishes are imbibed continuously, definitely after a certain length of time one overcomes vile psychic imprints. The teachers of Spiritual Science never wish that such a desirable activity is allowed to languish for a long time span. Here all of them via intense seriousness, subtle hindsight and mental focus have clearly analysed the animalistic imprints in man’s psyche. These great teachers have concluded that deeper than the level of the surface of the mind, where there are thought vibrations, lies the sub-conscious mind where the psychic imprints are deeply embedded in an intense manner.

A Fool’s Guide to the Occult, A Fool’s Look At The Planes of Correspondence
There are several dimensions to this universe. In physics what we know to be dimensions are directions you can go. You can see this with your own eyes that we live in a 3 dimensional universe affected by other dimensions such as time, gravity ect. Dimensional physics gets very complicated and save for being a highly intelligent mathematician, kinda impossible to understand on an advanced level on your own. The Science behind it is fun though and it shares a lot of things in common with hermetic philosophy mostly because it evolved from Hermetic Philosophy along with most fields of study. Again this tells you how strong of a philosophy the Kybalion and the hermetic philosophy is. Here we will be talking about a similar concept in the hermetic philosophy called The Law of Correspondence and its planes of existence.
“As Above, So Below,” is a common phrase in the occult and makes up one of the core concepts of hermetic philosophy. What this means, As Above So Below, As Within so Without, is that what happens on a microscopic level also seems to happen on the macrolevel and vice versa. So what happens to the individual. You have seen the examples I talked about in previous Fool’s guides how brain neurons look a lot like galaxy clusters. How the Universe is mental because that is the highest plane of existence humans can perceive. Those are examples of as above so below. The higher reflects the lower and the lower reflects the nature of the higher. The Universe may be divided into three classes of phenomena;
Three Great Planes:

The Great Mental Plan
The Great Spiritual Plan
The Planes Shade into each other similar to how the dimensions in Physics are all connected as directions of energy and force. There is no true division. All is connected in THE ALL, connected by different phenomena. Planes in this context means a state or condition. So in physics we have the 4th dimension which is classically known as Time. It is more complicated than just time and I’m not an expert. It is also what helped Einstein form his famous e=mc2, law of relativity. Everything is connected with the Vibrations of time in the form of energy. Everything is energy from the smallest particle to the totality of the universe. All is energy. Each of these three great planes of energy are divided by sub-planes.

Plane of Matter (C) (Subtle Teneous Matter)
Plane of Ethereal Substance (Connects matter and energy which creates the ether, its has extreme tenuity and elasticity)

The Mental Planes, organize themselves in levels of awareness. The levels of awareness from mineral to Human mind. Keep in mind these concepts were first thought up back in the times of Ancient Egypt but it still stands the test of time. For this mental exercise think of the term mental as how things take action. Minerals grow, crystals have a uniformed way of growing itself. This can be thought of as a mental force, same thing with how chemicals bond and plants photosynthesize and animals hunt. The Mental plane is the plane of process.

We know that there has to be seven sub planes and one Great Spiritual plane. Because hermits love the number seven and so to it seems the universe. This is the plane all spiritual beings reside, gods, angles and other sacred beings. The Spirit is, “The Animating Principle.”

Blessed Water Recipie & Ritual 💧🙏🏽💧
My Ritual for Blessing water is a Blend of the Roman Catholic rite and a folk tradition of blessing water. If you'd like to exclude the notes of Christianity, I'll leave a cheat sheet below 💕.
Hardware:
Water tap is fine, we're boiling it anyway. You can use aaaany kind of water you see fit be it moon, sun, rain or shine 😂.
Salt
A white candle in a red/clear glass filled halfway with holy water. - Call done the blessing/ sign of the holy spirit
Astringent (White Vinegar, alcohol)- Cleansing, Clearing, protective, kills bacteria & increases shelf life.
That's all you'll need for the basics, you can choose to include other herbs, oils, and things to strengthen your water or provide it with a stronger intent.
Optional:
Purifying/ cleansing incense- Frankincense, Myrrh, Dragons Blood, Sage, Rosemary, Lavender, citrus, etc.
Carrier oil- Either olive or coconut oil
Frankincense E.O. - Raise vibration, purify, Blessing of the Creator.
Myrrh E.O. - Consecrate and cleanse, Blessing if the Redeemer
Copal Resin - Cleanse, Protection, purity - Blessing of The Holy Spirit
Rosemary Leaves - Cleansing, Protection, purification, enhance strength, Blessing of the Most Holy Virgin of Guadalupe.
Step by step:
(You can sub calling on Christian spirits by calling in the spirits of the elements or whatever feels comfortable)
Gather materials, fill a clean, glass, vase with water (I will fill 4 if I'm making a big batch)
Fix your white candle into the red cup. This is a symbol of fire and purity. Once secure, fill the cup half way with pre-blessed or charged water (both for safety and potency of magic)
Exorcise/ cleanse salt. I follow the Exorcism of Salt
Exorcise/ Cleansing of water.
Cleanse a large boiling pot and then pour the water in.
Add salt, carrier oil, essential oils, splash of an astringent, and herbs. I'll pray Psalm 23 here 3 times.
Clean out some jars with lids, cleanse them by passing the incense smoke through any jars or cups you use.
Let the whole mix boil for about 10 minutes to kill off bacteria and store in clean, air-tight jars

Nothing is inherently magical.
The mage makes objects, situations, and all concepts magical that otherwise wouldn't be. Things are as they are, just existing as they evolved. Salt is a food, dirt is dead nature, and water is a liquid. The Sun is a star, the Moon is a giant asteroid in orbit, and Earth is a planet. Welcome to the Ordinary World.
Perception manifests magic.
Salt becomes a sympathetic link for water as well as a protective element. It is corrosive to negative energy and spirits. Dirt becomes a sympathetic link to wherever the witch picks it up from. From a church it becomes a hallowed object, from a graveyard it becomes a tool for necromancy, from a garden a tool for growth. So get some dirt and do some dirty magic.
From Land to Sea, Sky to Cosmos, all things are magical now upon the Will of the Mage!
So we take our favorite pop-culture characters and use them in our rituals. It is more accepted now then it was when Taylor Ellwood first presented the idea (he's the first as far as I know to make it public, although it is also mentioned in The Paradigmal Pirate by Joshua Wetzel). He says only characters that are from worlds with magic should be used for pop-culture magical purposes.
Fortunately, this is less common, and I am one that uses characters and worlds that are not inherently magical. It is a challenge, but a lot of characters and worlds that have magic built in are often based off of concepts and beings from mythology and religion anyway. Why work with a fictional version of something that already exists in our magical universe? So I made it a point to find the magic where there is little to none.
The Pop-Culture Triple Aspect
Supergirl, particularly from the CW starring Melissa Benoist, started my pop-culture work. Her outfit became a form of color magic, her powers inspirations for extended perception based on psi, the limits of my own strength, and her Kryptonian lineage a view into Atlantean conspiracies and myth, and finally, a delve into UAP phenomena.
Harley Quinn was next where I broke her costume down into color magic forms and functions, her journey from the Joker to finding herself as a shadow work journey to self realization. Her weapons became magical tools, and her hyenas reprsentation of animal familiars. Her makeup became a concept for glamour and her mental instability a line between the magical and mundane, the imaginative and creative.
Although she is great for shadow work, not so much for self love, but good for smashing your heart to bits to cry it out and laugh it off... and do it all over again until the pain subsides.
Lastly, Android 18, or Lazuli, was added to complete the Triple Aspect. The Triple Aspect is important in my practice as I used to be a devotee of Hekate. For a long time she has always been who I return to for devotion and acts of sorcery. I don't worship anymore, but Hekate is always in the back of my mind.
I also broke Android 18's powers down into forms of extended perception and clothing as related to color magic, but more importantly, she is a focal point of unlimited energy, cybernetics, and the possibilities of science. She represents the future after the Singularity as she is an android that was originally human that married a human and fights aliens.
Each of the pop-culture archetypes above and their worlds are shared concepts of superpowers, extraterrestrials, magic, time travel, and pushing the limits. They were born from the imagination and so they make home in mine.

Is there a way to treat ADHD naturally? What one should do?More than 1 in 10 children, ages 4-17 have ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) (1), defined as “limited attention and hyperactivity.”
Common characteristics of ADHD include:
Difficulty sustaining attention or focusing
Difficulty following through with tasks
Hyperactivity
Difficulty organizing self and tasks
Impulsive behavior

After those options are exhausted however, there is little, if anything else doctors say they can do.

THE BRAIN GUT CONNECTION
The “brain-gut” connection is essentially what it sounds like: Your gut and brain are directly linked.
Your vagus nerve (the nerve responsible for directing how you think and your brain function) is connected from your frontal brain lobe to the top stomach. In addition, about 95% of your serotonin (“feel good” brain chemical) is produced in your gastrointestinal tract.
Couple this with the fact that your gastrointestinal tract is lined with more than a 100 million nerve cells, and it makes sense: the inner workings of your digestive system don’t just help you digest food, but also guide your emotions.
In short: When your gut is unhappy or stressed…your brain is unhappy or stressed.
Enter: The “brain-gut connection.”
Inflammation in your gut sends signals to your brain, causing a similar response (inflammation, stress and in many children’s cases, anxiety, sensory processing disorders, and ADHD).

THE MISSING LINKS IN ADHD TREATMENT: GUT HEALTH & STRESS
Unfortunately, for years, we’ve come to see the body and mind as two separate entities.
The mind is often treated separately from the body, other than using medications to suppress “neuro-chemical imbalances.” Patients with ADHD or other mood disorders and mental illnesses are then typically referred out to see a psychotherapist or occupational therapist to address “behavior” and emotional issues, in hopes of remediating the symptoms, with sub-par results or a lifetime spent in therapy, using coping strategies and taking medications.
From a functional medicine perspective, we want to address ADHD and other mental health conditions in the same way that we address any other health condition (i.e. autoimmune disease, diabetes, GERD, hypertension, etc.). We want to look at what the underlying causes are for these conditions. This is essential to treat ADHD naturally.
While mental illness, like ADHD, is a complex combination of various genetic and epigenetic factors, (including nutritional, physical, biochemical, environmental, social, emotional, and spiritual influences), many traditional methods of diagnosis and treatment fail to address two of the biggest drivers of disease: gut health and chronic inflammation (i.e. stress).
Our stress levels and gut health are the gateways to health.
In fact, the American Psychological Association estimates that 99% of ALL disease is attributed to stress alone (2). Stress is defined as any “outside force that exceeds the body’s ability to recover or maintain homeostasis.”
Just like the “stress” of a poor quality diet, lack of sleep and sedentary lifestyle leads to conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, and just like poor gut health, such as “intestinal permeability” (leaky gut) is connected to conditions like autoimmune disease, skin breakouts and anxiety, stress levels and gut health play a key role in ADHD.
STRESS 101
Contrary to popular belief, “stress” goes far beyond mental stress. Physiological stress equally imbalances the optimal function of the body—brain balance included. Common sources of physical stress and inflammation for many ADHD sufferers include:
Inadequate sleep or poor quality sleep. More than half of kids do NOT get 8-9 hours of quality sleep. (3)
Sedentary lifestyles. Kids are moving less than ever before with 1 in 5 getting the recommended minimum of 60-minutes of physical activity 5 days per week. (4)
Overexposure to screens and blue lights. The average kid spends 6-9 hours/day in front of a screen. (5)
Lack of spontaneous play and time in nature. Only 10% of kids spend time outside every day (6) and a 2018 Gallup study found that children nationwide spend less time on creative play than ever before, spending 18.6 hours each week to screen-based play per week, versus 14.6 hours on indoor screen-free play (7).
Antibiotic drug exposure. 1 in 4 kids get antibiotics every year that are unnecessary and 5 in 6 kids take an antibiotic every year (8).
Poor quality nutrition and processed foods. Nearly 50% of kids’ diets, ages 2-18 consist of empty calories from added sugars and and processed foods including: soda, fruit drinks, dairy desserts, grain desserts, pizza, and conventional milk (9).
Poor gut health. Including about 2 in 5 kids with constipation (10), 1 in 4 with GERD or “reflux” (11) and millions of kids with allergies and asthma—the #1 “chronic disease” of kids nationwide (12) (linked to poor gut health) (13, 14).
GUT HEALTH 101
Much of the chronic diseases we face today can also be traced back to our gut health, including ADHD. If we could address the problems in our gut, we can find the right ways to treat ADHD naturally.
The human gut contains more than 100 trillion gut bacteria—up to 10 times more bacteria than human cells in our blood stream and body.
The healthier and more diverse your gut bacteria, the healthier your body is overall. However, the less healthy or less diverse your gut bacteria, the less healthy or “out of balance” you are.
Our gut bacteria influence the health of our:

SURVEY SAYS: ADHD & GUT RESEARCH
A 2017 peer-reviewed study found significant connections between increased gut inflammation and test subjects with ADHD, regardless of age and previous diagnosis (15). The volunteers with ADHD had more Bifidobacterium genus, often associated with SIBO or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (16).
In another review in the European Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Journal, researchers state that while studies on ADHD and the gut microbiota in patients is budding, there is clear evidence about the link between obesity and ADHD and between obesity and alteration of the gut microbiota.

STEP 1: EAT REAL FOOD (ESPECIALLY FATS & PROTEINS)
When we eat, we not only feed ourselves, but we also feed our gut bugs. This is a crucial step to treat ADHD naturally. It’s not rocket science: Real, whole, nutrient-dense foods make an unhealthy gut a healthier gut. While most kids’ favorite foods include chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, French fries, Honey Nut Cheerios, possibly fruit and anything with ketchup, they are humans too.
And humans were wired to eat real foods. Real foods include: sustainable, organic meats and fish, colorful fruits and veggies and essential healthy fats (coconut oil, ghee, grass-fed butter, pastured egg yolks, avocado, raw nuts and seeds.
STEP 2: CUT OUT THE CULPRITS

Those who undergo the ayahuasca experience report having profound spiritual revelations regarding their purpose on earth, the true nature of the universe as well as deep insight as how to be the best person they possibly can. It is nearly always said that people experience profound positive changes in their life subsequent to consuming ayahuasca. In addition, it is often reported that individuals experience what gaining access to so called “higher spiritual dimensions” and making contact with various autonomous entities who serve to act as guides or healers.
Ayahuasca focuses and aligns the patient with the archaic essence of spirituality. It ‘resets’ our biological clock according to universal time and harmonizes our natural brain chemistry. The corresponding shift in our personal values, priorities, and self-image produces a lasting rebirth, a transformative “new beginning”. This quality is the most important and life-changing gift of the Goddess, and the one most desired by many seekers. Persons experiencing Ayahuasca ceremonies typically achieve substantial mental, psychological, and spiritual progress, comparable to that accomplished through intensive long-term psychotherapy, and often in a remarkably short time. Studies investigating Ayahuasca's history and use often fail to explain the remarkably transformative processes it initiates. Ayahuasca’s various effects progress through cathartic, abreactive and spiritual stages. Experience of universal time is an important element in this process. Physical effects: The body high of ayahuasca can be described as a pleasurable, warm, soft and all encompassing glow. For some it is manifested spontaneously at different unpredictable points throughout the experience, but for others it maintains a consistent presence that steadily rises with the onset and hits its limit once the peak has been reached.
Cognitive effects: The head space of ayahuasca is described by many as extremely sober and clear headed in its style when compared to other commonly used psychedelics such as LSD or Psilocybin. It contains a large number of psychedelic typical and unique cognitive effects.
The most prominent of these typical effects include, •Introspection •Acceleration of thought •Enhancement of current mind state •Removal of cultural filters •Feelings of fascination and awe •Conceptual thinking •Vocabulary suppression •Ego suppression, Ego loss, and ego death •Time distortion •Deja-vu
Along side of the typical cognitive effects listed above, ayahuasca induces certain states which are seemingly rare or spontaneous within all other psychedelics in a consistent, reproducible and in an extremely powerful way. These commonly reported unique cognitive effects include, •Powerful and consistent mindfulness - The term “mindfulness" is used within psychological literature to refer to states which are achieved through the act of practicing meditation. This feeling is characterized by a sense of focus on the present moment with a stillness and clarity of mind. Induced mindfulness can occur within any psychedelic but is unique within ayahuasca due to how consistently it is manifested and the way in which it can sustain itself for days, weeks or even months after a single high dose experience.
This is an extremely beneficial and therapeutic effect for personal psychological health. In contrast, other more commonly used psychedelics such as LSD and Psilocybin tend to induce this effect in a merely spontaneous and temporary form.
•Consistently induced states of unity and inter-connectedness - This effect is unique within ayahuasca due to how consistently it is manifested as an accompanying effect along side of ego death and occasionally, ego suppression. In contrast, other more commonly used psychedelics such as LSD and Psilocybin tend to induce this effect rarely at best.
•Consistent communication with the subconscious - It can be briefly described as a literal communication with an internal voice within which claims to be the subconscious. At lower levels this is performed by the subconscious conversing with you through your own thought stream. At higher dosages however it becomes a fully audible voice which is capable of coherent conversation on the same level as the ego, and arguably self aware in its own right. •Sustained dream potentiation - Regular or occasional ayahuasca usage commonly results in extremely vivid, lucid and easy to recollect dreams in the days and weeks after the experience. It’s worth noting that the overall cognitive positivity or negativity of an ayahuasca experience in psychologically balanced individuals depends greatly on how nauseating or purgative the chosen method of preparation is. For example, paranoia, anxiety, delirium and a difficulty stringing thoughts together often immediately manifest themselves during uncomfortable states of nausea for the inexperienced, but remain absent when the user has been accustomed to the purge itself.
Visual effects: Enhancements,
Ayahuasca presents a complete array of possible visual enhancements which generally includes, •Increased visual acuity •Enhancement of colours •Enhanced pattern recognition •Visual drifting (melting, breathing, warping and flowing) - In comparison to other Entheogens or psychedelics this effect can be described as highly detailed, slow and smooth in motion and static in their appearance. •Tracers •After images •Texture repetition •Colour shifting •Scenery slicing Geometry, The visual geometry that is present throughout this experience can be comprehensively described as structured in their organization, organic in geometric style, intricate in complexity, large in size, fast and smooth in motion, colourful in scheme, glossy in colour, equal in blurred and sharp edges and equal in rounded and angular corners. At higher dosages they are significantly more likely to result in states of level 7B visual geometry over level 7A. In terms of their manifestation they are progressive in nature and continuously self complexify in settings with little or no visual input and disturbances. For example, darkness will cause the geometry to progressively intensify but this can immediately be reset back down to base level by simply turning on a bright light or actively performing a physical task which requires any level of concentration.
Visionary states, Ayahuasca and other forms of DMT produce a full range of high level states in a fashion that is more consistent and reproducible than that of any other commonly used "Entheogen" or psychedelic.
These effects include, •Transformations •Imagery •Visualizations - this particular effect commonly contains inner visualizations with scenarios, settings, concepts and autonomous entity contact. Research has been made showing the relative physical safety of DMT. Ayahuasca, has been studied by multidisciplinary groups in Brazil and other countries and was shown that in reasonable doses in a careful context, it presents no negative cognitive/psychiatric/physical consequences. In terms of mental health the very same study showed that users presented elevated levels of happiness and health. Ayahuasca is not physically addictive, and many users experience a frequency self-regulating quality to the drug. This is despite the fact that the substance holds no real tolerance and can be used on a daily basis if it is desired.

Autoimmune Diseases and Inflammatory Disorders of Unknown Etiology; Contemplating Causation and Implication in Public Health Protection- Juniper Publishers
Abstract
Due to their multi factorial causation, the investigation of the etiology of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders constitutes a challenge that seems to exceed greatly that which was faced by the pioneers of the previous centuries, in connection with microbial diseases. Genetic factors, microbial pathogens, the alteration of the normal microbial flora and/or of the micro biome have been implicated to the etiology of the specific category of diseases but their interaction is so complex that the distinction of the causal from those that are incidental becomes extremely difficult. This issue is further complicated by food additives that are nowadays widely used and could have a contributing role to the pathogenesis of disorders associated with immune dysregulation. In this respect, it is perhaps critical that administrative authorities involved in public health protection revised their licensing strategy from deciding based on evidences of harmfulness, to taking seriously into consideration even indications of the latter or requiring proof of safety.

Introduction
In ancient Greece, the notion of infectious agents was depicted with the term “miasma” that was used to indicate any factor resulting to bodily, spiritual or ethical deviation from normal. In 1665, Robert Hooke published his book titled “Micrographia”, in which he provided a detailed description of the structure of a simple microscope that was invented many years before (1590), by Zacharias Janssen. This was an event of fundamental significance in the investigation of disease etiology and motivated several inspired researchers, such as Anton van Leeuwenhoek who provided the first physical proof of microscopic organisms in 1670, and Robert Koch with his landmark publication of the Koch’s postulates in 1890. The latter constituted a concrete context that formulated the research conducted on all aspects of the investigation of disease etiology, for several decades. The idea was simple and common for all infectious diseases: a pathogen transmitted to a sensitive host causes a specific disease; the pathogen should not be detected in healthy individuals; a sensitive host exposed to the pathogen should develop the specific disease. These postulates proved efficient in connection with a large number of infectious diseases and triggered the developments towards their accurate diagnosis, treatment, control and in several cases, eradication.
However how does the scientific community respond today to the challenge represented by the dramatic rise in autoimmune and inflammatory disorders? If the elementary technological developments of the 17th century proved sufficient to clarify disease pathogenesis of so many infectious diseases in just over a century, how is it possible that in spite the revolutionary discoveries of the 20th century, a large number of wide spread diseases continues to be of unknown etiology? Is public health protection a parameter that should be considered in connection with the specific diseases or at least with those that appear to be potentially infectious, i.e. associated in many, but not all cases with exposure to one or more pathogens?
In contemplating the causation of autoimmune diseases and inflammatory disorders of unknown etiology, the logical approach would be to follow a course similar with that of Koch, and attempt to define first the notions of “disease” and “sensitive host”; exactly therein lies today the real challenge. Regarding case definition, what appears to be a single disease entity often proves to have specific forms that are similar in terms of clinical manifestation but different with regards to etiology. A typical example of the latter that was not as obvious a few years ago is cancer, a pathologic condition that is no longer perceived as a single disease and can be manifested by many similar forms, triggered by etiologic factors that are remarkably different such as viruses, chemicals, radiation etc. With regards to the definition of the sensitive host, the difficulty lies in that susceptibility does not apply at, but within the level of animal species, depending on various parameters including age, gender, race and genetic predisposition. The latter is neither precise nor definite i.e. there are many different factors possibly resulting to similar types of genetic predisposition and this can be influenced in the course of life by various parameters including stress, nutrition, alteration of the constitution of normal microbial flora, genetic and epigenetic factors. An example of a disease that seems to fit perfectly in the specific context of pathogenesis is Crohn’s disease.
Crohn’s disease is a form of chronic eleocolitis that affects humans with substantial negative impact to their quality of life [1]. Though the disease is still officially considered of unknown etiology, it is rather clear that the basis of its pathogenesis is immune dysregulation. Several factors have been proposed as relevant, such as genetic predisposition, nutrition, stress, the alteration of the microbial flora and/or of the microbiome, and various microbial organisms [2]. In connection with the latter, reference is more commonly made to Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis (MAP) [2]. Notably MAP, which is wide spread in nature and many types of food, is the cause of paratuberculosis that affects the intestine primarily of ruminants, causing lesions that are very similar with those of Crohn’s disease. It has been suggested that the implication of mycobacteria in this and other diseases of unknown etiology, such as sarcoidosis, is associated with the regulatory role they acquired in the process of the evolutionary development of the mammalian immune system, formulating its response to various antigen recognition patterns (ARPs), and its ability to selectively react or tolerate similar antigenic stimuli [3,4].
This idea is the foundation based on which, a new approach was made very recently for the treatment of Crohn’s disease patients, using a vaccine that contains MAP [5]. However, none of the factors mentioned above can be associated with all cases of disease, and causal effect cannot be determined in a definite manner for any of them, not even for a specific subset of patients. This has generated speculations about disease definition implying that maybe, just like cancer, Crohn’s disease is a label that should be perceived as descriptive of a set of conditions that are similar with regards to clinical manifestation but distinct, in terms of etiology [2]. Unfortunately the issue of Crohn’s disease causation is still very far from being resolved, mainly because the aforementioned factors are so closely interlinked that it becomes extremely difficult to differentiate the causal from those that are incidental. This problem however and the context of disease pathogenesis outlined here does not apply only to Crohn’s disease. Some or all the factors associated with the causation of the specific pathologic condition are being identified as potentially significant for many others. To mention only a few, sarcoidosis has been associated through several reports with exposure of genetically predisposed individuals to Propionibacterium acnes or certain Mycobacterium spp. [6]; human exposure to MAP has been associated in addition to Crohn’s disease with multiple sclerosis, diabetes mellitus type I, Hashimoto’s thyreoiditis, sarcoidosis, rheumatoid arthritis and certain forms of cancer [2]; the alteration of the constitution of microbial flora and/or of the microbiome has been linked to a plethora of diseases of unknown etiology [4], the most recent and rather unexpected addition to which is autism [6].
The overall context formulated today in connection with diseases of unknown etiology would be incomplete without a reference to the potential role of specific food additives, which complicates even further the investigation of their pathogenesis. Two of the most widely used products of this category that could be implicated in the issue addressed here is erythritol and arabinogalactan. The former is a polyol that exists in a natural form in some fruits and vegetables but is used in an artificial form as a low calorie food sweetener, since it is very poorly metabolized by the intestinal and the oral microbial flora. Arabinogalactan is a polysaccharide consisting of arabinose and galactose, and can be found widely in nature, in plants and in the cell wall of specific bacteria. Today, arabinogalactan is used broadly as a chemical stabilizer in cosmetics, food and animal feeds, and as an immune stimulating or drug delivery agent in therapeutics and food supplements. Apparently due to the wide use of erythritol and arabinogalactan, human exposure to them exceeds greatly the natural, in terms both of intensity and duration. This could constitute an element of key significance in their role as potential or perhaps incidental pathogenic factors for specific sub-sets of the human population who, for various reasons, are prone to immune dysregulation. This association should be primarily assessed within the context of the microbial flora and secondarily in connection with the immune response to ARPs that the mammalian immune system has been trained to perceive as critical in terms of immune regulation and responsiveness. Indeed regarding the former, chronic exposure to erythritol is associated in many research reports with functional alteration of the intestinal microbiome, which may affect millions of consumers leading to autoimmune diseases and inflammatory disorders [4,7,8]. Erythritol is also a significant bioactive substance for potent bacterial pathogens. In more detail, the specific inert under normal circumstances sugar is identified as the factor that attracts Brucella abortus to the genital tract of female bovines, leading to chronic infection and abortion [9]. Erythritol has also been associated with up regulation of specific pathogenic genes of other Brucella spp., including Brucella melitensis, the main causal agent of brucellosis of humans [10]. Arabinogalactan on the other hand is a major component of the cell wall mainly of mycobacteria, nocardia and corynebacteria, and contributes significantly to their ability to resist phagocytosis and to survive as intracellular pathogens. In this respect the use of arabinogalactan as an immune stimulating agent seems rather apparent at least for normal individuals, but generates concern in connection with the response that it could activate to those prone to immune dysregulation, especially considering the strong indications about the implication of mycobacteria in autoimmune diseases and inflammatory disorders [2,3,4,6].
Conclusion
The multi factorial causation of autoimmune diseases and inflammatory disorders that currently remain of unknown etiology constitutes a challenge that seems to exceed greatly that which was faced by the pioneers of the previous centuries, in connection with microbial diseases. The progress is indeed remarkable but there are no indications that the etiology of the specific pathologic conditions will be clarified in the near future. In this respect, it is nowadays perhaps critical that administrative authorities involved in public health protection revised their licensing strategy from deciding based on evidences of harmfulness, to taking seriously into consideration even indications of the latter or requiring proof of safety.

Reports arrived from Moon Base 3 that suggest seismic activity is occurring in the fourth quadrant. A point seven measurement was observed on the seismograph, detected four miles under the moon's crust. Thermal scans of the area picked up signs of several large veining structures underground. Mining equipment was brought in to drill tunnels into the moon's middle mantle, the second internal layer. Lunar scientists and geologists were transported to Moon Base 3 to analyze the foreign structures.
After months of digging, probing, and scanning the team at Moon Base 3 broke through the structure's outer shell and were met with strange lifeforms. An initial visual examination of the beings and the inner workings of the structure showed that they survived off of farmed bacteria on the cave-like walls. The quadrupeds had large eyes and wide drooping mouths. Saliva from these orifices provided the nutrients for the methane-producing bacteria. Several of the lifeforms were brought back to earth for further study while the remaining inhabitants slowly died off from methane deficiency. The twelve Selenites were examined inside pods that mirrored their own ecosystem.
As the research into the Selenites continued the funding for the project was cut, despite there being political and spiritual curiosity over the existence of an alien culture in such close proximity. Politicians instead attempted to squelch the riots and violence that erupted over racial tensions with these pulled funds. Scientists of the Selenite project sought to combine their research with the search for peace among the divided races and factions that had been tearing humanity apart.
The Selenites were thought to be unintelligent and mentally deficient. They were incapable of learning and adapting and had to be infused with oxygen breathing apparatuses to survive Earth. Across the globe the alien species was met with verbal and physical abuse, of which they did not truly understand. They were often aimless, jobless, homeless, and stereotypical of a race that had lost their identity, ignorant of a culture that rejected them but who also accepted them as a necessary evil.
Despite attempts by the more compassionate humans the Selenites were forbidden to rise above the "sub-lower class" and continued to live in poverty among the human race. Aggression towards humans of different skin color was completely forgotten as they grew to be enlightened without the harmful effects of racial tension. The nation that held the highest Selenite population became the richest and most prosperous compared to those that had less.
Those that provided safe harbor to the alien species were often met with financial and social ruin. Keeping Selenites hidden or providing them with an education was detrimental, unsafe, and frustrating. A 2017 peer-reviewed study found significant connections between increased gut inflammation and test subjects with ADHD, regardless of age and previous diagnosis (15). The volunteers with ADHD had more Bifidobacterium genus, often associated with SIBO or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (16).

STEP 1: EAT REAL FOOD (ESPECIALLY FATS & PROTEINS)
When we eat, we not only feed ourselves, but we also feed our gut bugs. This is a crucial step to treat ADHD naturally. It’s not rocket science: Real, whole, nutrient-dense foods make an unhealthy gut a healthier gut. While most kids’ favorite foods include chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, French fries, Honey Nut Cheerios, possibly fruit and anything with ketchup, they are humans too.
And humans were wired to eat real foods. Real foods include: sustainable, organic meats and fish, colorful fruits and veggies and essential healthy fats (coconut oil, ghee, grass-fed butter, pastured egg yolks, avocado, raw nuts and seeds.
