Before 2D was kidnapped, him and Nix were in frequent contact via texts and calls. So when he disappeared suddenly, she suspected Murdoc, and decided to track 2D's phone. During the events of Stylo, she's trying to get ahold of either man while following their location.

Maybe people talk about it a lot and I've just totally missed it somehow but honestly I haven't heard ANYONE talk about how smart Murdoc is implied to be.

He's so much of an idiot but he must have some section of his brain that was in genius mode for a short amount of time (or still is and he plays dumb) because he built a FUCKING CYBORG?? WITH THE DNA OF NOODLE??

Also did he modify Stylo himself?? To be a car that just TRANSFORMS into a shark submarine?? He's so dumbed down now, but on Plastic Beach he was a mad genius.

I guess you could make an argument that he was always super smart, because it takes a certain level of intelligence to be able to manipulate people well, and we've seen him do that lots.

The way that he's written now isn't doing him any favors in that department, but maybe we'll see his intelligence come back sometime? Who knows.

I need that version of Murdoc back lmao
