"Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" (Donna & Stu)
"No, but I'd kiss yours." Stu smirked, trying desperately to ignore the fact she'd made him think about his mother. Despite everything, he missed her quite terribly. Even dull comfort was vital when comfort of any kind was a scarcity. Though, he hadn't seen her since before everything happened. Neither of them got to properly say goodbye. She'd left a note, and he'd left a corpse. Fleeting messages between mother and son, lives always parallel until one stopped suddenly. "I meant your mom, by the way. Not that I'd kiss you. But, I mean, I would kiss you, if you wanted. But, you probably don't want that, right? You don't want me to kiss those beautiful lips of yours, right? You hate having a good time. Too scared you might enjoy yourself."

"It’s one thing to want somebody out of your life. it’s another thing to serve them a wake-up cup of drano." (Donna & Stu)
"It's really not that different." Stu disagreed, with a shake of the head that was arguably far too casual for the weight of the conversation they were having. "I mean, at the end of the day, it's either you or them. Y'know?" he paused for a moment to chew on his finger nail that had been snagging against his sweater. "Your happiness or their happiness. I always have my own back. 'Cause, I'm the one that's gonna be stuck with me forever, right?" he sighed, raking his finger off of the table to try and sand down the rough edge he'd just bitten into the nail. "If they're getting in the way of my happiness, then, they've gotta go. Yeah, peace, love and mercy or whatever, but, they aren't considering me when they're pissing me off. So, why should I consider them?"

Bloodied footprints accompanied Stu down the aisle of the abandoned theatre. As he reached the stage, he walked along the front row before all but collapsing in the very middle seat. A perfect view of his handmade contraption that sat on display. He put a hand on his bloodsoaked t-shirt, panting for a few moments as he tried to force himself to relax, though ultimately it was short lived. The hair on the back of his neck stood on end as he heard something or someone moving around backstage somewhere. "Alright! Show's over, you can come out now!" he urged, hoping his voice would bring out friends or scare off strangers. "Only dumb idiots jump out at people!"

❝I'd rather know what you're thinking - even if what you're thinking is insane.❞
(Stu & Donna)
"Just shut up, alright? Shut up!" Stu called out, hearing Donna's voice from the foyer. She wasn't supposed to be here. She wasn't supposed to even know where here was. But, of course, he'd been too trusting when things were good. That always happened and yet he never seemed to learn. "You're not meant to be here, man. Just...Just get out, alright? Door's locked, anyway. We ain't open for business."

❰❰ BED ❱❱ our muses share a bed (Stu & Donna)
Stu sighed, folding his arms and wriggling a little, struggling to find any position that was forth staying in for more than a few mere seconds. "I'm gonna be honest with you, my bed kinda sucks, huh?" Stu's apartment was dingy and his flat pack furniture left a lot to be desired. "Having you stay the night was a lot hotter in my head." He sighed again, smiling this time. "You're still super hot, don't worry about that. It's just this stupid cheap-ass bed." He looked over at her, a tawny eyebrow raising in curiosity. "Maybe we should just break it, ay?"

"Oh yeah?" he grinned, picking up on what she was putting down. "I guess we'd have a whole planet to repopulate or somethin'. Would keep us busy, huh?" He began to chuckle, enjoying their shared closeness. He wanted to reach out and make a move, but, there was a part of him that wanted to keep the theatre a sacred place. At least until he'd finished his performance. That had been the deal, after all. "Listen, I could make a list of people I want to kill with you. Right? Like, so many that we could make it like a date night activity. But, right now? I need to focus on this theatre. Remember? They'll still be here to kill when I'm finished." he smiled, sadly. Hating to disappoint her. "And trust me, we'll do more than just kill 'em. They'll be beggin' for it."
@lcvenderhcze
"I COULD THINK OF A THING OR TWO THAT WE COULD GET UP TO THAT WOULD MAKE IT QUITE WORTH OUR WHILE?" donna wondered, smirking from ear to ear as she moved closer to him. did she like having him around? oh, more than words could say, because.. yes, he understood her in a way that not a lot of people did. darkness was darkness and many had it, but.. not a lot could understand it. not like he could, anyways. "want me to kill her for you? i could. bet that she wouldn't even put up that much of a fight, anyways," shrugging. "bo-ri-ng. darling, she won't understand you. like ever. trust me on that. AND ARE THERE? FIVE OF THEM HERE? I SAY WE PICK THEM OFF ONE BY ONE."

"You're here and all alone." he pushed back, not sure what exactly his goal was other than to make sure she felt as low as he did. "I've never heard of you, or your stupid farm. So you can write a few stories, who cares? When's a story ever changed the world? How about never." He was just shredding any details she gave to him, trying to give her reason to leave him alone. Even if he had been looking for company, she seemed like she'd only make things worse. "Are you afraid of fire? Are you afraid of being on fire? That might be something to think about. I'm sure your adoring fans can help identify your remains out of the pit in the morning."
@lcvenderhcze
"YOUR FAMILY? OH, HONEY. IF YOU'RE HERE AND ALL ALONE.. doesn't seem like you have a family. sorry to say." was she being rude on purpose? yes, because.. she was awfully bored. yes, she could go back to the farm and find some new entertainment with her new .. friend, but.. then again, she wanted to be out here. her place was out here and not in there and yes, she knew that much. "donna sweett. big time writer and now, a member of .. you know, the farm?" proud of having gotten there? yes, she was. "and why would i? i'm not afraid of you." @springbandit

"But, killing people is why they bother me in the first place!" he laughed, finding it amusing that killing people could solve the problem he'd created by killing people. "If I kill all the people that piss me off, there'd only be, like, two people left on the planet. And what are we gonna do with a whole planet and no people to kill, huh?" he smiled, hoping a little hypothetical might stop Donna from sniffing around his problems quite so intensely. "If my sister dies, everyone's gonna know it was me. I mean, come on, she's my sister." he shook his head, trying to warn her that it really was off limits. "And leave Tatum out of this. I'm workin' on her, alright? She might be cool about it. If not..." well, he hadn't quite planned for that yet. But, killing her wasn't off the cards if she turned against him. "It's not their opinions I'm worried about. One of 'em killed me, remember? And, I hate to break it to you, because I think you're amazing and beautiful and all that good stuff, but, I'm bigger and stronger than you. So, I don't fancy your chances against, like, five of 'em."
@lcvenderhcze
"WHAT BETTER WAY TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY DON'T BOTHER YOU ANYMORE?" would he agree with her? donna could say that she wasn't particularly sure, but.. then again, that was the case. was she tempted to do the same thing to bret? he was a problem for her and always had been and so.. yes, perhaps she'd have to do so. who knew, she wondered? "just your sister? what about the others? the ones who turned their backs on you? the little bitch who will run once sh realises who you really are? trust me, i had one of those. once. their betrayal always stings the most." was that the case? oh, she had learned that much the hard way and it wasn't something that she ever wanted to go trough. not at all. "and you think that i care about their opinions? i'm here for you and you alone."

He smiled as she spoke, finding great comfort in her words. She seemed genuine and he wanted to believe that if anyone out there could ever come to understand him, then she was likely his best bet. She'd yet to judge him so far, and he hoped that the ever increasing regard he held for her wouldn't come back to bite him. "Get rid of them? You mean like..?" he ran his index finger along his throat, implying that she was going to kill them. "I mean, as tempting as that is for, like, my sister, I don't know if it's a good idea. If it went wrong..." he didn't want to think about potentially losing Donna. After Billy turning his back on him, then Tara, he didn't have the strength to go through it again. "They don't deserve to be anywhere near you. If they knew you were hanging out with me...." he laughed awkwardly and sighed. It felt like Leslie wouldn't be happy until he was dead again. "I just need to get out of my mind, that's all. Afterwards, you can totally turn this place into a bloodbath, trust me."
@lcvenderhcze
"YOU ARE HANDSOME. AND I KNOW YOU'VE BEEN HANGING AROUND PEOPLE THAT VERY MUCH DO NOT APPRECIATE YOU, BUT.. DARLING, I AM NOT ONE OF THEM." shaking her head a little bit, because she very much was not and.. well, he had managed to capture her attention in ways that no one else had and right now? she didn't see that changing anytime soon. "tell me their names and i'll get rid of them," shrugging, as she let one hand move to his cheek and cupped it. "whoever messes with you, messes with me. hm?" was she protective of him? yes, in a way, she supposed that she was indeed. right? "i get that. if that's all that it is indeed." was he going to do something stupid?

"People like us," he scoffed, "There's no people like me. That's why I don't think about anybody." He wasn't going to let her tear his walls down that easily. She'd offered nothing to show she had positive intentions for doing so, and he didn't feel like he was emotionally in the right place to handle things well if she tried to make fun of him. So, the best move was not to play at all. "My family would bail me out." He answered, having always been his fallback excuse for why he never feared prison before. It had already left his lips before he realised his affluent family no longer supported him, or cared about him, or likely even knew he was alive. But, he'd said it now, and it was easier to live a lie. "Definitely focus on me, especially if you want to have fun. They're promising you cash, sure, and that's great. But, money can't buy what I can give ya." he smirked, raising his eyebrows dramatically to try and lure her in.
@lcvenderhcze
"HM. SEE, I BELIEVE THAT'S A LIE. I THINK THERE IS SOMEONE THAT YOU DO THINK ABOUT. FOR PEOPLE LIKE US.. THERE ALWAYS IS. as much as we hate it and them." was she thinking of someone in particular? yes, she very much was, but.. then again, it didn't matter. he had died many years ago and he had a grave here -- one that she visited more times than she could count -- and that was it. she wasn't wasting time thinking about the past. no. "yes and what about the consequences, hm? opening someone meaningless up is .. all good and easy. a man like him? you'd end up in prison, where you'd suffer a very unfortunate incident. NO, THANK YOU." she had lost too much and done too much to end up dying here and it was not happening. no way in hell. "she could try. YOU HAVE YET TO SEE WHAT I CAN DO," whoever that was? wasn't better than her. no way in hell. "focus on you and all the fun we can have together... IS IT?" @springbandit

"Handsome, huh? I'll take handsome." He smiled, brows raised almost as if he was unsure that she was being serious, but, he wanted to believe that she was. He wanted to be appreciated. "Especially from someone like you. I'd take a lot of things from you, Donna. All kindsa things." he teased, trying to pull her attention away from the more painful topic of conversation that she seemed so eager to make him talk about. "Well, I ain't really got a choice, do I? What do you want me to do? Kill them again? Cause it worked out so well for me the first time, didn't it?" he didn't want to get irate with her, but, the situation was frustrating and he didn't really have anywhere else to spit his tacks at. "Yeah, that's all. I just need to have something for myself. Just, you know, to remind me who I am. I get so strung out over all this garbage."
@lcvenderhcze
"QUITE RIGHT. SAME AS I DO BELIEVE YOU TO BE HANDSOME. HAVEN'T I MADE THAT CLEAR RECENTLY?" donna wondered, raising an eyebrow at that, because.. well, there was something going on with him and right now, she was determined to find out precisely what that was. and she was going to do so, wasn't she? yes, yes, she absolutely was. "and why are you letting them? take away all of that from you? i mean .. they become a problem. they should be stopped." shrugging a little bit, because.. yes, that was precisely how she saw it and always would be. right? indeed so, indeed so. "it's not. precisely what's why i say. they should die." of course that she was going to be the one to take his side here. "is that all?"

"I don't think that much about anyone." he shrugged. He didn't have family of his own to care about and his friends were few and far between. The one person who did hold his thoughts captivated, well, they weren't to be spoken of right now. "Who cares what he's done? He dies the same way everyone else does. Can be as scary as they want, still all warm and gushy once you cut 'em open." He giggled, smiling at the idea of cutting someone open and watching their blood escape them. He hadn't seen that in a while. He missed it. "Don't get ahead of yourself, sweetheart. She killed me. She'd put you down like a dog." he shook his head, laughing softly as if remembering fond memories of friends. "I think all women are beautiful creatures. But, if you wanna stand out as one I remember for their perfect body...tuggable hair...well, you'd have to give up this family thing, and maybe focus a little more on what's right in front of you. You get me?"
@lcvenderhcze
"ARE YOU.. SINCERELY GOING TO PRETEND AS IF YOU DON'T THINK ALL THAT MUCH ABOUT ANYONE?" oh, donna saw right through him, thank you very much and yes, she did that as clear as day. did she not? yes. it was obvious as day and no, she didn't need to be told that in the slightest. it was there. was it the fact that she could read people all that easily and didn't let anyone look through to her? yes, maybe it was. it absolutely did seem like that. "kill a mobster like finn pederson? who faked his own death and who is notorious for destroying the lives of the people that piss him off? oh, darling, no, no. i like my life a little too much. don't particularly want to see it destroyed after all i did to get it." a scoff. "whoever this woman was? i'm better than her," donna sweett did not like being compared to ... huh, anyone. "and oh, you think that i'm beautiful? DO TELL ME MORE?" @springbandit

"I think you think about these people too much, man. Unhealthy." he screwed his face up, not wanting to hear much more about it. For people she apparently didn't like, didn't care about and were only using for money, she seemed to think about them and their relationships with one another a lot. Enough to bore him, at least. "Kill the big boss man too, no problem. I mean, you said you were damaged, right? Easy peasy. Kid stuff." If she was going to bore him, he was going to have to find his own fun, even if that involved trying to push her buttons. "She wasn't you, no. There's nobody like her, trust me. But, we ain't gonna have any fun if you keep whining on about that snivelling little family, you understand that, right? So much talking, very little action. A waste of a beautiful young lady, if you ask me."
@lcvenderhcze
"HUH. I SUPPOSE I HADN'T THOUGHT ABOUT IT LIKE THAT. WELL, I'D BE A BETTER DAUGHTER THAN SHE EVER HAS BEEN." it wasn't as if she had met finn pederson just yet, but she had heard a lot about him and yes, he seemed scary enough and she absolutely liked that. after all.. what was she as well, if not.. scary enough, one could wonder? hm? "can't do that yet, darling. the big boss man was very clear. he stays alive. for now. as long as he's away from her." was the little bitch going to be stupid enough to risk his life by attempting to win him back? well.. maybe she needed to show she was not joking at all. right? "she wasn't me, was she? no, i think we could have a lot of fun. HM?" @springbandit

Stu's tawny brows shot up in both shock and concern at Donna's sudden disagreement with him. He didn't like that. He said nothing for a moment, waiting to see if she was going to qualify it with anything that might change his mind, but, when she didn't, he spoke up himself. "I gave her that nickname. You got a problem with that?" He squinted at her, almost squaring up to her without moving from his relaxed position in his chair. "I have to keep her around. She's the key to everything, don't you understand?" He loved Tatum, and as he stood now, it felt like his entire course of action for the rest of his life was hanging on whether or not she liked him back. At least, liked him back after he was snared on by the inevitable truth his sister was all but making sure would come to light. "Yeah, well, while he's keepin' a roof over my head, I ain't gonna pick a fight with him. Even if he deserves it the way he ignores me all the time." He wanted to relax, but, he was still slightly bristled now that they'd ruffled each other's feathers. "Can't exactly pay the bills bein' a killer, can I?"
@forafcrtnight
"TATE. WHAT A STUPID LITTLE NICKNAME," donna had been annoyed at the other ever since she had heard about her the first time around. who the fuck would throw that kind of show after finding out who their boyfriend was? if anything, she saw that as a good thing about stu and whoever did not? clearly, they had a problem and yes, she supposed that she would have been happy to get rid of them. was that something that she would have normally done for him? maybe. "harmless and boring. how you keep someone like her around, i will never know." rolling her eyes at that, because.. wasn't that annoying to hear? yes, she supposed so. "maybe i will," smirking from ear to ear. "no. had a fight with someone he cares about, i guess. he didn't like that very much. and don't worry. you're better off not being there."

"You think my name's pretty?" he asked, pausing for a moment. He'd never really thought about his name in that way, but, he did like to be thought of as pretty, so, he saw it as no bad thing. As she stopped in front of him, he had to dig his own heels in to do his best not to crash into her. "Yeah, boring." he pushed, choosing not to elaborate any further. "Well, I gotta care, don't I? I don't got all that money and fame and whatever you've got. All I've got is my little self and these buncha people from my hometown are all runnin' around tellin' everybody what a terrible person I am. They're gonna take everything away from me and even then I don't think they'll even be happy. Y'know, I think that's what bugs me the most. If they'd be satisfied after, then maybe I could get over it. But, I got one night of fun and now I have to hear about it forever. I mean, how is that fair?" he panted a little as he finally stopped rambling, not realising he'd had so much to say waiting to come out. "Yeah, fun!" he forced a smile, trying to push onwards with what was more important. "What kind of theatre wouldn't want a little fun?"
@lcvenderhcze
"HM. THEY SHOULDN'T. IT'S A PRETTY NAME, BUT.. YOU KNOW THAT IS NOT WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUUT, DON'T YOU?" donna was watching the other very closely, because.. yes, she felt as if he were keeping something from her. did she like that? she didn't like secrets at all and so.. no, she didn't and so, she stopped right in front of him, eyes watching him very closely. "boring? you are not boring. and why do you care so much about these people, anyways? clearly, they do not give a damn about you and never have! why care?" she raised an eyebrow at that, because.. yes, she had seen that before. people like him, putting themselves down because of the idiots? not happening. "the fun?"

"Hey genius, while you're on her pappy's payroll, he's your old man." He sneered, laughing at the idea of being chained down to such a strange arrangement. He'd never tie himself down to other people. He'd never be stupid enough to clip his own wings for the benefit of someone else. "You should kill him anyway, just so I don't have to hear about him no more." The constant talk about this other man was making Stu feel jealous, even though he knew he didn't feel like he had a reason to be jealous. It was just more emotion he didn't know what to do with. "You want to bring out my brain? Look, I'm into some unusual things, but, I might have to draw the line there. The last girl I rolled on the ground with tried that, and, it didn't end well for me."
@lcvenderhcze
"HER OLD MAN. AND WELL, IT'S FUN, ISN'T IT? and besides .. i met her. i despised her almost immediately. the little bitch has it coming." it was no lie to say that cecilia fucking pederson had reminded her of someone that she despised in a strange way and yes, that had made it so she wanted to get rid of her or .. keep her miserable. and yes, she had to admit that it helped that she was being paid for it. right? "NO, HE'S NOTHING TO ME. JUST A PAWN. I'D KILL HIM IF I HAD TO. GOD KNOWS I'VE THOUGHT ABOUT DOING IT PLENTY OF TIMES." it helped that he was so fucking insufferable and that she had considered it plenty of times. right? "i do indeed," she didn't let herself think about what that meant. about what.. she had done. "i think there is, actually. you just need some help bringing it all out. hm?" @springbandit
