The Coolest Thing I’ve Ever Found and Kept: My Faith in God
What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever found (and kept)? When asked to share the coolest thing I’ve ever found and kept, there’s only one answer that truly resonates with my heart: my faith in God. Faith isn’t just a set of beliefs—it’s a transformative, life-giving force that shapes everything. For me, nothing can be “cooler” than the kind of faith that has brought peace in chaos, hope in…

Trusting God in the Valleys
Job.
Y’all, the Book of Job is WILD.
It kicks off with this almost unthinkable conversation between God and the Devil. The Devil points out Job—this man who’s been loyal, faithful, blameless his whole life—and says, “Well, of course, he’s faithful. Look at everything he has! Take it all away, and watch what happens. I bet he’ll curse You to Your face.”
And God allows the test. He told the Devil, “Go ahead. Do what you want with him—just don’t take his life.”
Challenge accepted.
But here’s the incredible thing: God knew Job’s heart. This wasn’t some blind test or gamble; it was rooted in the deep relationship between God and Job. At one point, God even calls Job “friend.” Think about that—God wasn’t putting Job through this because He doubted him. He knew Job so well, loved him so deeply, that He was confident Job’s faith would hold strong.
God knew that no matter what the Devil threw at him—no matter the pain, loss, or heartache—Job’s heart was anchored in Him. God trusted Job’s loyalty because He understood his heart like no one else could.
And so, the Devil took everything. Job’s family, his wealth, his health—it was all gone. He ended up sitting in ashes, covered in sores, broken and alone. And the only people left around him were three “friends” who didn’t exactly do much to comfort Job.
These friends basically spent chapters telling him he must’ve done something wrong. Over and over, they insisted, “Come on, Job, God wouldn’t let this happen to you if you were truly innocent. Own up to whatever it is you’ve done wrong, and maybe things will turn around.”
One friend, Bildad, really drove it home in Chapter 18. He told Job, “The light of the wicked is put out.” In other words, people who go through suffering like this must be far from God. Bildad was convinced Job’s suffering was punishment, plain and simple.
But here’s the thing—Job didn’t back down. He didn’t say, “Yeah, maybe I deserve this.” He knew he hadn’t sinned against God, and he refused to lie just to make his friends more comfortable. Instead, he challenged them. “Take it up with God—He’s allowed all of this,” he told them.
Job’s friends couldn’t see his heart, but God could. God knew his integrity, his faith, and his loyalty. Even when Job was at his lowest, he clung to that truth.
Job went on to list his pain, his isolation, his loss. He had nothing. His family was gone, his friends had turned on him, his body was failing. He was barely more than bones. He’d lost it all.
And then, in the middle of his suffering, in Chapter 19, verse 25, Job makes one of the most remarkable declarations of faith: “For I know that my Redeemer lives.”
After everything—the suffering, the heartbreak, the loneliness—Job still held onto his faith. He believed, deeply, that God was with him. He knew that, even after all he’d lost, God was still his Redeemer. He believed that at the end of his suffering, he would see God face-to-face. “I shall see for myself,” he said.
God didn’t just see Job’s suffering; He saw Job’s heart. And that’s why He trusted him. Job’s story isn’t just about his endurance through hardship; it’s about a relationship so deep that God could trust him with this test, knowing Job’s heart would stay true.
I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately—how God is the same whether we’re in the valleys or on the mountaintops. He sees our struggles, yes, but He also sees the heart behind them. He knows when we’re clinging to Him, even when we’re barely holding on. He’s faithful in our highs and in our lows.
The God who knew Job’s heart so intimately knows ours too. He sees us in our valleys, and He never leaves us there alone. The same God who trusted Job’s heart in the hardest of times is the same God who walks with us through ours. He’s not just the God of blessing and abundance—He’s the God who stays with us in the desolate places.
Our God doesn’t leave us in our valleys. He doesn’t abandon us in our brokenness. He’s the God of restoration, of patience, of steadfast love. The same God who held Job’s heart in his darkest hour is the same God who holds ours.
And maybe that’s the most comforting part of all—knowing that God sees us completely. He sees our fears, our doubts, our faith, and our loyalty, even when the world doesn’t. And because of that, we can trust that no matter what comes, our Redeemer lives. We are never alone. God knows our hearts. And that changes everything.

Changing for the better is not an easy endeavor, but it is so worth it because you are making yourself proud and making Jesus Christ very happy. When it comes to the topic of change, a lot of people always ask, “Does God have the power to change people?” And as Darlene Lorraine Gibson, author of One Woman’s Testimony of a Transformed Life, the answer to that question is a resounding yes! But if you really want to improve yourself, you won’t be able to succeed in that endeavor if you’re not making steps toward that goal.

2 Thesallonians 3:3
As I face the trials and tribulations of this world, I find solace in the words of the Apostle Paul to the Thessalonians. Though they too faced persecution and opposition, Paul reminded them that the Lord is faithful.
The verse 2 Thessalonians 3:3 is part of a letter written by the Apostle Paul to the church in Thessalonica, a city in ancient Greece. The verse reads: “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” In this verse, Paul is reminding the Thessalonians that even in the face of opposition and persecution, they can trust in God’s faithfulness. Paul believed…

When You Feel Like There's Nothing Left
There are times when I feel like I have nothing left to give. Those hard seasons when you pour out everything for everyone else and feel like you're left standing in the aftermath, empty. When your cup is bone dry, and you don’t know how to fill it back up. In those moments, I feel lost. Confused. Hurt. So alone.
Disappointment settles in. It creeps up in ways I didn’t expect—disappointment in others, yes, but mostly disappointment in myself. It’s like training for a race with all you’ve got, running hard, pushing through every obstacle, only to fall short at the finish line. Worse, there’s no one there waiting to comfort you, to tell you it’s okay.
I’ll admit, there’s a deep pain when you feel like you’ve let yourself down. And carrying that weight alone? That makes it even heavier.
Sure, I know how to pull myself up by the bootstraps. I’ve done it plenty of times before. I’ve put on my big girl pants and faced the storm alone, figuring things out as I go. But even as strong as I can be, there’s a part of me that longs for help. For someone to share the burden, to whisper, “I’ve got you. You’re not alone.”
And yet, in those moments of loneliness, when it feels like I’m fighting every battle on my own, it’s so easy to lose sight of God. To wonder, where is He in all of this? Why hasn’t He stepped in? But if I’ve learned anything through the valleys, it’s this: those desolate, empty moments are not without purpose.
There is purpose in the loneliness. There is meaning in the disappointment. As much as it hurts, I’ve come to understand that these seasons—where I can barely see my own hand in front of my face—are the very moments God uses to draw me closer. When everything else is stripped away, and I have no one left to lean on but Him, that’s when He reveals Himself in ways I couldn’t see before.
Because when life is full, when I’m surrounded by distractions or the noise of other people, it’s easy to miss what God is doing. It’s easy to think that others are the reason I’m getting by, or that I’m making it through on my own strength. But when it’s just me, alone with my disappointment and doubt, that’s when I’m reminded that I’ve never truly been alone.
God is there, even in the silence. Even in the emptiness, He’s there. He shows up in the darkest places, bringing light where there is none. He uses those moments of loneliness to teach me something so profound—that my worth doesn’t come from my accomplishments or my ability to get everything right. It comes from Him.
He didn’t create me to leave me here, in the middle of my pain and disappointment. He made me with purpose, with intention. I am wonderfully and purposefully made. And though the loneliness feels endless sometimes, it’s in those moments that God reminds me who I truly am. He whispers, You are mine. He shows me my value when I’ve lost sight of it.
God hasn’t forgotten me. He hears my cries, He knows my pain. He’s with me—even here, even now, in the middle of my mess, in the deepest valley. And if He’s here with me in the darkness, I know He’ll walk with me into the light.
So even when I feel empty, when I’m tired and disappointed, I hold onto the truth: God is faithful. He hasn’t left. He’s still working, still shaping, still guiding. I’m not alone. I never have been. And neither are you.

TrueStory "The Little Girl Who Was Stronger Than She Knew" #faithaffirmations #humbledandgrateful
Once upon a time, there was a little girl who carried the kind of pain no one could imagine. Her heart was so brave, even when she didn’t feel it, and her spirit so pure that no darkness could truly destroy it. She didn’t know it yet, but she was a warrior in a battle far bigger than her.
SurvivorStory 👉🏼 There were moments when she felt like everything was broken—like she was broken. She felt shame so heavy it was hard to breathe, like she was trapped in a nightmare she couldn’t wake up from. But deep inside, where no one else could reach, there was a small flame. It was tiny, but it burned steady and strong. HolyFire 👉🏼 That flame was hope. And even when it felt like she had nothing left, that flame kept her alive. It whispered to her in the quiet moments: “You are not what they’ve done to you. You are not their lies. You are not their evil. You are good, and you are still whole in ways they can’t touch.” Even 👉🏼 when they tried to humiliate her, when they made her feel like she was less than human, they could never reach that deepest part of her. They tried, oh, how they tried. But no matter what they did, they could never break her spirit. They could never truly win. StrengthInFaith ☝🏼 When the despair felt unbearable, when it felt like there was no escape, she wasn’t alone. There was someone right there with her, holding her hand even if she couldn’t see it. Jesus was there. He saw every tear she cried, every scream she couldn’t let out, every time she felt ashamed. And He said to her, “This is not the end of your story. You are not what they say you are. You are My child, and I will carry you through this.” 👉🏼 He didn’t turn away when she felt humiliated. He didn’t flinch at her pain. He didn’t see her as dirty or broken. He saw her as precious. As whole. As someone worth saving.
One day, that little girl would escape. She didn’t know it yet, but the flame of hope inside her would grow into a fire. She would find the strength to leave. And when she did, she would discover that nothing they did to her could erase the beauty and the light in her soul. TrueStory 👉🏼 BeStrong Little one, when it feels like you can’t take another second, when the shame feels like it’s swallowing you, hold on to this: You are not alone. You are not dirty. You are not broken. What they did to you is not who you are. You are loved beyond measure, and one day, you’ll see the proof of that love all around you. 👉🏼 You will survive this. You will. And when you do, your story will shine so bright that others who are trapped in the dark will see it and find their way out, too. Keep holding on. You are so much stronger than you know. JesusSaves 🛐✝️💟☝🏼🙏🏼❤️ 🙌🏼

Searching for Strength: A Broken Man's Journey
Searching for answers...
What does the Bible say about being broken?
There’s a difference between a broken man… and a broken loyal man who fights.
They both have a story, but not the same ending.
Proverbs 24:16 "For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again…
Being broken doesn’t define us… but how we rise does.
Even when we break, it’s the will to fight that shapes our story.
Keep searching. Keep fighting.
In our darkest moments, we find the strength to rise.
Enjoy the day you create.
