Band Ghoul Names and Element Guide (For this blog)

I’ve been meaning to make this guide for a while. Recently I received a request which will REALLY need this for better context.

(Note: some of the elements and names Are just ones I personally use for my world building, so they aren’t official or fan wide!! This is just how I’ll be regarding them and how they work in my writing.)

All ghouls in the list are written in chronological order of appearance!

Miasma: “syringe ghoul” - Ghoul who had the syringe during chapter three. Presumably quintessence/unconfirmed element. Rumored to also have a 'darkness' to their element...

Gamma: Era I - II. Mixed Forrest and Stone ghoyl.

Earth: (small earth) Era II - III. Plains Ghoul.

Ivy: VERY BRIEFLY end of Era III before Mountain took over. Forrest ghoul.

Mountain: Era III - Current. Stone Ghoul.

Water Ghouls (Bassists):

Delta (Chain Ghoul): Era I. Oceanic ghoul/borderline deep sea.

River: Era I - II. Freshwater river ghoul.

Water: Era II. Freshwater ghoul with oceanic parent.

Look Out, Trish–Victoria’s Gone Over the Edge!

Jealously can be a very dangerous emotion. It was the Renaissance Italian statesman Niccolo Machiavelli who said that all hatred springs from envy. If there’s any truth to that, then Victoria must be the most envious person in all of WWE, because the hatred she harbors for Trish Stratus is about as strong and destructive as it gets. And if Trish isn’t careful, it could spell the end of her run as Raw’s dominant Diva.

Victoria’s jealousy of Trish is obvious to even the most casual viewer. While Victoria would vehemently disagree, her behavior would belie her claims. She can hem and haw about how Trish sabotaged her career as a fitness model, but that’s nothing more than simple bitterness. Victoria was never able to reach the heights that Trish did in the fitness world, so she takes out her frustration on her rival. It’s Human Nature 101: If you fail, blame those who succeed. 

For years, the green-eyed monster of envy possessed Victoria’s soul, but until now she was unable to exact any revenge. While Trish Stratus ascended to WWE glory, first as a manager and then as a competitor, Victoria wallowed in anonymity, powerless to stop her meteoric rise.

But all that’s changed. Trish can no longer categorize Victoria among the untold number who burn with envy toward her. Now Victoria shares the same locker room as her, competes on the same roster as her–even eats in the same arena commissaries as her. It’s got to be hard looking across the room, pretending not to see a woman scorching a hole in you with her eyes.

Taken at face value, it’s actually quite a testament to Victoria’s perseverance and dedication. Let’s face it, she set a goal for herself and achieved it. Tired of watching Trish every week on TV, Victoria stopped wallowing in frustration, deceiving to become a WWE Superstar herself and beat Trish at her own game. If she were a normal, sane young lady, this would certainly be a praiseworthy accomplishment. But she’s not. 

Victoria is WWE’s first-ever certifiable, grade-A wacko Diva. The only female of the past who even comes close would be Luna Vachon, but compared to Victoria, Luna was downright well-adjusted. That’s because Victoria’s obsessions and hang-ups are buried deep below the surface. Unlike the more histrionic and campy Luna, Victoria is an insane woman pretending to be sane–a deadly formula if ever there was one.

Almost no one–except maybe Trish–really knows how long this anger and bile have been building up inside Victoria. Whatever the case, her pent-up aggression has wrecked some heavy-duty damage to the woman’s psyche. In fact, it may be completely beyond repair.

“I usually don’t use such colloquial terminology, but this girl is batty,” opined renowned sports-entertainment psychologist Dr. Sigmund Ziff when contacted for comment. “To tell you the truth, from what I’ve seen of her, I can’t imagine anything short of intensive shock therapy making a dent in her psychosis. I’ve treated some difficult cases in my day–I was the guy who got George “the Animal” Steele to verbalize for the first time in his adult life–and even I have to throw up my hands.

“The layman may not fully appreciate it,” Ziff continued, “but even Victoria’s most subtle words and actions scream out to the trained analytical mind. She is capable of some terrible things. The last thing anyone should want is to be perceived by her as an obstacle. Honestly, I can’t even fathom how WWE could hire someone this unstable. Their staff psychologists should have spotted this problem right from the beginning.”

While that opinion is solely Dr. Ziff’s, we can’t help but ask the question: Should someone like this be allowed to ply their trade in a WWE ring? While it’s certainly true that WWE has had its fair share of madmen and maniacs on the roster in the past (and present), there have never really been any madwoman. Frankly, we’re not sure that the Women’s Division can contain such a presence. This is not meant as a knock, but any rational viewer would admit that many of our lovely Divas are simply unprepared to cope with the out-and-out menace that Victoria represents. People’s livelihoods and well-being are at stake here.

Perhaps if Victoria’s diseased brain existed in the body of a Stacy Keibler or a Terri, we would have less reason to be worried. But it doesn’t. It resides in a lethally skilled, athletically honed body that was built for combat. While she definitely possesses the sultry and seductive looks we’ve come to expect from WWE’s Divas, she is no dainty little damsel. Victoria is equal parts brawn and beauty, blending the two in a way not seen in WWE since the days of Chyna.

Trish Stratus is certainly no slouch either. In the past year, she has metamorphosed into an elite female competitor. Many so-called experts as well as naysayers have had their mouths shut by the ring prowess Trish demonstrated as Women's Champion. But we can only ask so much of her. There are many men on the WWE roster who would have their hands full in a match with Victoria. Trish’s defeat at the hands of Victoria at Survivor Series was surely not the end. The Women’s Championship has appeased Victoria, but her goal is far from achieved. Victoria will not stop until Trish is completely ruined.

Victoria is, after all, someone who still holds a grudge from fitness competitions that took place years ago. She’s not about to let a few setbacks get in her way. After all, it’s a lifetime of setbacks that resulted in the person she is today. In her mind, it’s time to make up for all that. Just like all those who are so warped by past traumas that they are unable to place the blame where it belongs–on themselves–Victoria refuses to see things for what they really are. Instead of making the healthy decision to safely channel her aggression in a productive manner, she has chosen chaos. 

Only sweet revenge can offer Victoria solace. And if she has her way, Trish Stratus will be the one sacrificed for her psychological health.

I wonder how many of you would have voted "smash" for the Rock before last week. Like, just how much good will was erased in an instant? So far, events have interfered with poll results twice in the three months of this blog's existence (three months of the most insane wrestling news in the history of pro wrestling, tbh), and I'm contemplating running those polls again in a year or so if requests get slow and the events are behind us.

Our collective father Christian Cage has taken the top spot for total votes, with 582 people casting votes. He is No. 34 overall in terms of smashability by percent, but just due to the sheer number of votes cast, he received more smash votes (447) than anyone else. Like, the only people to receive more TOTAL votes than that are Punk (527), Hook (449), and Hangman (447). I was really hoping he'd pass the 600 vote mark, but not today.

Sami Zayn also joined the "Whole Lotta Votes" club with 435, putting him at No. 7 overall.

Starting this off with Bull Nakato, who I always was interested in when I first saw her in the WWE. Awesome Kong because she was so great back in TNA. Maki Itoh, the Pop Star who turned into a Wrestler. Told you there’s a reason I picked Sakura to be in this. Toni Storm because honestly she’s one of the best reasons to watch AEW today. And finally ODB because she was always fun in TNA.

Spots Picks

With 15 to pick, let’s get some obvious ones out of the way. Bayley and Sasha Banks (Mercedes Moné) to have the four Horsewomen. Trish Stratus and Lita for being the biggest female names of the WWE. Medusa (or Alundra Blayze) for being that in the early 90s. Chyna for being one of the first females in a Royal Rumble. Jordynne Grace because she was impressive in her Rumble appearance despite being TNA.

Nia Jax to be a big powerhouse against some of the best female wrestlers. Beth Phoenix for being another powerhouse and completing the females who entered the Male Royal Rumble club. Let's bring in some wrestlers from the past. Wendi Richter, Sensational Sherri, Luna Vachon, Aja Kong (who still wrestles today).

Two spots remain so let’s bring in a legend of the business: Mae Young. Even at her old age she was entertaining. And our final spot will go to the BOAT: Natalya. 

And this is my 30 Female Roster for the Sprite Royal Rumble if I could. And honestly I think it looks more fun than the male roster. A strong mix of styles and personalities with a lot of stories to tell. Will I ever make this, maybe one day. Of course there’s always Fanfiction.

Lilian Garcia is a former WWE ring announcer , singer , and a podcast host . She began her career in WWE during the Attitude Era in 1999. Her debut on TV came on the August 23, 1999 episode of ‘ RAW Is War ‘ . She was involved in two big angles with Jeff Jarrett putting her in a Figure Four Leglock to take his anger out after losing to Luna Vachon via Disqualification and with Miss Kitty after introducing her for the Chocolate Pudding Pool Match for the WWE Women’s Championship against Tori. Miss Kitty took the mic out of her hand and said she was now known as The Kat. She also sang the National Anthem before every RAW each week and on the September 13, 2001 episode of Smackdown. She also sang it at Wrestlemania 2000. She also had a rivalry and a match with Howard Finkel in 2002. She did win with the help of Trish Stratus and Stacy Kiebler. She went on to make a few WWE Appearances and is now announcing for the Professional Fighters League. She is also the host of the Chasing Glory Podcast.

Update: LA Ghoulette Names + Swiss Element Change

Just wanted to update the name list for future work! I’ve finally decided what I’d like to name the Ghoulettes from the Kia Forum shows! :) These are what I’ll be calling them in my own works, and what elements I’ve assigned them!

If any new tidbits or fun scenes of them emerge in the eventual movie some of this info might change. But for now I am very happy with these portrayals!

Luna - Vocalist - Quintessence

Trained along side Aurora back in the day! All of the LA ghoulettes were hand selected and worked with Stratus and Aurora for a Papa centuries ago. Back when this particular Papa had a hold on the opera and classical music scene. Luna is very close to Aurora and Stratus! Luna is one of the most respected ghouls in the entire ministry and is often sought for advice and guidance.

Breeze - Grand Pianist - Air

Tall, elegant, and as pleasant as a summers day. Don’t let her queenly manner fool you. She’s stronger than she looks! Sometimes goes by ‘Breezy’. She was mentored by Air ages ago. She often just plays for leisure these days, but was happy to be asked to attend Papa IV’s Ritual.

Aqua - Cellist 1 - Water (Freshwater)

A refined beauty of a ghoul. A true gem in the ministry and very talented at many stringed instruments. She’s not as versed in modern music, but she has a love of all genres and instruments. Before her appearance back into public she tutors many ghouls in music and human culture. She’s an appreciator of fine art.

Marina - Cellist 2 - Water (Oceanic)

Mysterious yet playful. Like the ocean lapping at your feet on a beach. Her favorite last time is running around the halls of the ministry in her fine mourning gown, like a human princess. No one is quite sure what she does when she’s not attached to Aqua or playing music. But she is like a siren. A beautiful voice and even more talent with her element and cello.

Swiss update!!

I originally wrote Swiss as a primarily fire ghoul with water and Forrest abilities. But recently I wasn’t satisfied with that entirely, and swapped them around!!

Now he is still a mostly fire ghoul but he is also Air and Quintessence!! I think this is much more fitting for his abilities and personality! :)

Even though I respect male wrestlers that aren't much to look at, I don't really post and reblog ugly male wrestlers on their birthdays because they're ugly, but I'm posting and reblogging gifs and pics of Awesome Kong even thought she isn't much to look at.

I don't post and reblog ugly male wrestlers, but I post and reblog female wrestlers like Awesome Kong, Bull Nakano, etc. even though they're not beauty queens.

But then again, I don't really reblog and post Luna Vachon, Mad Maxine, Bertha Faye, Ruby Riott/Soho, ODB and especially The Fabulous Moolah and those women aren't Trish Stratus in the beauty appartment.

To be honest, the ugliest male wrestlers are uglier than female wrestlers that aren't much to look at.
