Soooo funny seeing this post on google while I was searching for a different reblog chain, because their user quite literally says “straightallies” and they had the audacity to insert themselves into a conversation about queer-platonic relationships. Not much of an ally considering you didn’t even TRY to make an attempt at understanding queer people’s feelings, instead resorted to good old bigotry to justify your ignorance! Re: the rainbow pants, lol the thing with Pedro is that so much of what he does/says taken individually is not indicative of anything, as you said anyone can wear rainbow, but when you put everything together…yeah

lol…. Yeah. it’s definitely to the point where people immediately getting defensive or believing that he’s a #straightally are jumping through way more mental hoops than anybody speculating. It’s a glass closet. He’s a queer man and he doesn’t need to kiss a partner on the red carpet or do an interview with Out mag for it to be true.

It doesn’t mean people get to breach his privacy or harass him or anybody associated with him, but I’m also not going to pretend like him being queer is some shameful secret when he clearly!!! doesn’t see it that way!!!

Other random thoughts

- I remember having Very similar conversations and thoughts wrt Z Quinto back in the early 2010s! Nothing has changed in Hollywood!!

- I could pass the pants off as just being generic Rainbow Stripy but the black/brown stripes feel very specifically reminiscent of revised diversity pride flag from 2017 which removes any doubt from my mind. But I need to know who designed the pants.
