StormCrystal's Origins

(warning: implied abuse & grooming)

Before we get into the real shit, I suggest we learn a bit about certain characters' motivations, eh? Let's start off with LeafClan's catalyst of chaos, the leader himself. But even before him, there's always another, much wors leader...

...And his name was SilentCrystal. From the outside, he may seem like a charming, softspoken cat. But don't be fooled by his gentle appearence; That's the exact reason why he can unleash hell upon his Clan without a single cat to question him. And even more twisted possibilities lit up before his eyes, when he met that certain loner...

...The loner called herself Willow. Even a fool could see that she was heavy with kits, and that the tom who sired them was nowhere to be seen. She was fierce and hostile, but SilentCrystal saw the oppurtunity. Someone to take control of while she was weak. So he accepted – or more like, forced – her into LeafClan, giving her a new name, QuietPurr. When you think about it, this name perfectly foreshadowed the fate the leader has planned for her; Obey silently...

...Eventually, QuietPurr had her four, almost intentical kits. There were three mollies; AspenKit, SongKit, and RainKit. But more importantly, there was a tom; StormKit. SilentCrystal treated these kits as if they were his own; Not to cherish and love them, as kits should be, but for them to function as a leash for QuietPurr. He took her as his mate, whether she wanted it or not, and kept a close eye on her and her kits...

...Especially StormKit. SilentCrystal took him as his apprentice without hesitation, planted his own twisted morals into the young tom's head, and turned him into a warrior under the name StormBringer. StormBringer grew up to be just as cold and calculating as SilentCrystal was, following him blindly. If is was for himself, or the fact that SilentCrystal had his mother under his control as well, is a fact that's lost to history...

...So he stayed SilentCrystal's loyal minion, firsthand witness to the leader's bloodshed. Not afraid to lead his Clan into hopeless battles, sending his cats to vile missions, or punishing the ones who were foolish enough to underestimate him, he lives up to LeafClan's reputation. And no one dared to oppose him, as the only part that LeafClan kept from the Crystal Codex's 10th rule is; "The leader's word is law".

But after moons of enduring SilentCrystal's tyranny, it was QuietPurr who finally had enough. When she finally knew that the leader is on his final life, she did not hesitate to punish him for what he did to her. But as she sunk her claws into his white fur, held him until she was sure that his spirit gets dragged out of him, she didn't notice StormBringer, watching the whole scene from the enterence of the den. And after moons of worshipping his leader's values, he lost sight of what his mother wanted him to be. And he was ready to avenge SilentCrystal, right at that moment.

Now, blood sticking to his fur from his Clan and his own mother, he knew that he had to continue what his mentor began, and what that long line of LeafClan leaders did through the cycles. As he entered the Spirit Cave, he felt thousands of CrystalClan cats watching him, through the gemstones on the walls. They didn't hesitate to give him his lives, but they knew that eventually, he would pay for what he did, and what he will do...

...He returned to LeafClan as StormCrystal.

And a new era began.

More Warriors oc stuff I guess

StormCrystal & CinnamonCloud

(trigger warning: implied abuse & grooming, kitnapping, kit deaths)

CinnamonCloud is LeafClan's deputy under StormCrystal's leadership. The strange thing is, that she earned this position this young, despite never mentoring an apprentice... Of course, everything has a reason.

StormCrystal noticed CinnamonPaw's ambition and qualities, right when she started her training. Young CinnamonPaw was much stronger, and more violent than her sister, ApplePaw. And then StormCrystal saw this potential... After CinnamonPaw's mentor died in a tragic accident with some foxes, he took the apprentice under his wing himself.

StormCrystal's training wasn't nice, or easy. He usually just watched from afar, expecting CinnamonPaw to figure out all the moves herself, sometimes correcting her, a bit harshly. He said that if someone needs help, that is a weakness; And there leader's very own apprentice should never show weakness. So eventually, CinnamonPaw learned how to solve things by herself, because that was the only time when StormCrystal ever praised her.

Towards the end of her training, StormCrystal had a strange request for CinnamonPaw; Stealing a litter from their rival clan, SunClan. LeafClan has been through a harsh Frosty Quarter, and committing such crimes was never too much for them. He promised her that if she does it, he will make her a warrior the next day, and make her deputy as soon as possible. Who would turn down such an offer?

So CinnamonPaw took her best friend with her; That was BluePaw, the leader's nephew, who was also promised a promotion for the mission. They sneaked in SunClan's camp, and took three kits away, right from the side of their mother's belly. The trip back to LeafClan, however, was not so uneventful; They accidentally tripped over another queen while leaving the nursery, and were chased through the camp, the territory, until they finally reached the forest, where LeafClan's territory began...

But in the meantime, there was a storm roaring through the clans' territories, which sparked a huge fire between SunClan and LeafClan. CinnamonPaw, terrified of StormCrystal's disapproval, urged BluePaw to still try and race to their own territory, with the three kits hanging from their muzzles. But after almost falling into the flames themselves, they had no choice but to leave the stolen kits, and save their own tails.

Back in LeafClan, StormCrystal was burning with rage, threatening the two apprentices with exiling them. Still, they could sleep in their own dens for now. And in the morning, LeafClan welcomed BlueTail and CinnamonCloud as brand new warriors.

While in SunClan, only one of the three kits managed to survive the fire, though with permanent injuries... And that was AshKit.

CinnamonCloud's Origins

So as you may have seen in my Antagonists post, my girlie has some shady stuff to her origins as well... Let's take a look, shall we?

There is a molly in MountClan by the name of BriarPetal. Now, in her earlier days, she had quite the adventure, with a certain tom in LeafClan...

...You see, normally, half-Clan relationships are accepted and respected... But not when it comes to LeafClan. LeafClan is known for being scared of going straight against the Crystal Codex, and in most cases, get away with it. At this time, they had two major problems; StormCrystal being their leader, and a local family of foxes taking the kits who were foolish enough to wander out of camp. How does the two belong together? Well, StormCrystal is certain that being a warrior is superior to being a queen. Therefore, LeafClan queens are only allowed to stay in the nursery until their kittens reach 3 moons of age, instead of the usual 6. And so many young kits being unsupervised is more than irresponsibility. So long story short, the surreal expectations for queen and the foxes are making it hard for LeafClan to raise kits. That's mainly the reason why they are known for stealing kits from other Clans. And how is that related to cross-Clan relationships? Because LeafClan will always insist on keeping the litter that is born out of it...

...So, there was LightningRush. Haven't heard that name? Well that's not a coincidence. He fell in love with BriarPetal; A MountClan warrior. No matter how her Clanmates told her that she could be with anyone but a LeafClan warrior, she did not listen...

...So, eventually, four kits were born; RoseKit, FoxKit, YewKit, and RaspberryKit. And as soon as LeafClan heard about this, LightningRush did not hesitate to do what he must...

...He snuck into MountClan... But he only took two of the kits. Even if his Clan was in need, and he had to listen to his leader's orders, he did truly love BriarPetal. He didn't want to torture her with stealing all four kits, so he only took YewKit and RaspberryKit. When MountClan found out about this, they were furious. But they couldn't do anything; Risking a war with LeafClan was dangerous, and at the end of the day, LightningRush was still the father of that litter. So instead, they decided to keep this secret from both halves of the litter; Let the kits think of each other as complete strangers, instead of trying to reunite...

...YewKit and RaspberryKit got renamed to CinnamonKit and AppleKit. It was easier to hide the kitnapping this way. They were nursed by MarigoldBloom, LightningRush's older sister, who also had a litter on her own, containing HazelKit. The two stolen kits got told that their mother died, protecting them from the foxes. And as the three of them managed to survive through kithood, they became apprentices together, with LightningRush being CinnamonPaw's mentor...

...But if you can still remember, we know that StormCrystal saw some potential in her. And he knew that LightningRush wouldn't be willing to guide her in the direction his leader wants to. So in order to assign a new mentor – himself – to CinnamonPaw, he took LightningRush for a walk, to have a little talk.... This talk resulted in LightningRush being left for the foxes, as StormCrystal watched from afar, knowing that nothing can stand in his way now.

BrambleRoar can be viewed as a definition for fragile masculinity. His relationship with DaisyBloom may have started off as rocky, but he loved her. Even if he didn't show it in a comprehensible way. So when DaisyBloom revealed that the litter he's been looking so forward to, wasn't even his... That definietly made him bitter for the rest of his life. And he didn't hesitate to show it. Even though he didn't reveal this secret to the kits themselves, he always seemed to be distant and judgemental towards them. This especially showed when DaisyBloom's second litter, StarKit was born; BrambleRoar favored her immediately. But still, it wasn't enough... That's why he decided to help that strange kittypet.

Just another chess piece, if we want to be accurate. And being so obviously controlled by someone else, she also has to fight for her own dignity. Especially when there are some rivals, right under her nose...

...No wonder that CinnamonCloud did not like these new recruits; They all worked for the very same kittypet, although unknowingly. While MoonDancer gets the majority of LeafClan to like and trust them, SunChaser sticks along to pick up any important details that her mate might miss. It's only a matter of time before they let their true intentions to be known...

And here he is; The talk of the town, the kittypet behind this all, the one who connects all these cats. At first glance, he may seem harmless. And he probably would be, if there wouldn't be some strange spirits, constantly whispering in his ear... But why is he doing all of this? Well, when he met a gentle, nice clancat, he felt like as if his life had been changed... Only for her to see him as a simple one night stand. And somehow this woke up something inside him; An ancient, instinctical desire for the "freedom" of being a clancat... Who knew that the yew bushes in his owner's garden would push him so close to his goal?

First, he met Sun and Moon. They were regulars at his garden, constantly picking berries, no one knew why. Until one day, Chester gathered all his courage, and told them that the bushes are his. The strangers seemed puzzled, but after a few silent glances, they asked him; What could they do, for him to allow them to keep picking berries? Well, Chester had quite a few ideas. But he decided to go with the one that some strange, broken figured suggested to him in a dream; He decided to ask them to join "the Clan", and spy on them for him. He didn't know that SunClan was not the only Clan, and neither did the rogues. So they joined LeafClan, told him everything they saw and heard. He wasn't quite satisfied, but he kept his promise to them.

Then he met CinnamonCloud, a clancat who was way too far away from her own territory. Only CrystalClan knows what she was looking for, but she found Chester. And Chester, who recognised her from the stories his pals told him earlier, and told her that he has exactly what she might be looking for. CinnamonCloud, as always, was cautious of him... But curious as well. So she decided to do as he says; Keep an especially close eye on SunClan.

And lastly, he met BrambleRoar. Another clancat, who was certainly upset about something he did not want to talk about. Refusing to talk to Chester, he immediately jumped through the fence, and rushed towards the yew bushes. But this time, the kittypet catched up to him to stop him, and demanded to know why is everyone so interested by the bushes. And after the warrior, slightly annoyed, explained the purpose of so-called "deathberries" to him, a whole new room of possibilities opened up before his eyes... And with that, he offered BrambleRoar this unlimited supply of yew berries, in exchange for a teeny-weeny small thing; A chance to talk with the kits he just found out about.

The originally started out as my ClanGen OCs (AKA the bitches that i always code into every single one of my Clans)... But now they're offical warriors of LeafClan!! (Just to keep up their... Questionable reputation).

MoonDancer & SunChaser are mates (Lovers and paaartneeers... Partners in crime!), and were originally rogues. They joined LeafClan to spy on them for Chester's Allies. It wasn't easy, though; They had to go through a brutal trial to get the Clan's approval. And they succeeded!

MoonDancer is very charismatic, confident, and always knows what to say - The handsome devil himself. Though he often tends to be a dumb little himbo at certain times. But he's excellent at almost every battle move. He's ambitious, and would do anything (even murder) to succeed StormCrystal as leader. SunChaser is a lot more quiet, cunning. She likes to fade into the background. She is the brains, while Moon is the brawl. And they're lovebirds.

They're destroying LeafClan from within. There is only one small problem... CinnamonCloud, LeafClan's deputy. Who also happens to be a part of Chester's plot.

He's technically a very fresh but full value medcat, i just put him here to make things a bit clearer. He's really nervous and a complete workaholic. He may have a strong connection to CrystalClan, but also to the Deadly Woods... He often gets visited by the dark spirits, especially a strangely nice one, FrozenTear.

CinderPaw - BadgerFrost's Apprentice

She/her, aroace

She's very bubbly, and full of energy, as a contrast to her mentor's cold personality. She's always right next to BadgerFrost, carrying herbs and helping where she can.

DovePaw - JayFlower's Apprentice

She/them, straight

DovePaw is quiet and peaceful, and a voice of logic and reason. She's really hard-working, and does her best.

MouseStripe - FireFlake's Apprentice

He/him, questioning

Just like his mentor, MouseStripe was a warrior before he started training to be a medicine cat. But he has no connection to CrystalClan at all, instead, he was forced into this position by StormCrystal. He's very uncertain and clumsy, and his mentor's dismissive attitude is not helping either.

CherryWing - SunClan's MedCat (2)

She/them, bisexual

She was mentored by CanarySong. CherryWing is really sweet, supportive, and a little bit clumsy.

BadgerFrost - MountClan's MedCat

She/her, straight

She is harsh and sarcastic, not that usual medicine cat stereotype. She's a great friend of both FoxCrystal and HollyFeather, helping them with special herbs to fulfill their identity.

JayFlower - SnowClan's MedCat

She/her, pansexual

She is very gentle and caring, always putting others in front of herself. She's usually cheerful and helpful, doing everything she can for her Clan.

FireFlake - LeafClan's MedCat

He/him, gay

He was originally a warrior, and only became a medicine cat later. His connection to CrystalClan was discovered late, but his faith is unshakable every since. Despite being very spiritual, he's even more harsh and dry. He's not very fond of StormCrystal, and is not afraid to "help" him leave the mortal world. FireFlake believes that no mortal cat has the right to judge a medicine cat, and only CrystalClan can punish him for his crimes

Chester - Brown tom with lighter patches and mask. He has eerie green eyes, and wears a purple collar. Kittypet, near SunClan's territory.

Scarlett - Reddish-ginger colored molly, with amber eyes and a nicely decorated collar. Kittypet near SunClan's territory.

Snowflake - Huge, white and silver colored tom with purple eyes. He wears a purple bandanna and has a scar across his face. He lives in a barn near SnowClan's territory.

Blueberry - Blue-gray colored molly with darker freckles, and curly fur. She has brown eyes, and a scar across her left eye that makes her half-blind. Lives with Snowflake in the barn, currently pregnant with his kits.

BlizzardGaze - White colored tom with reddish speckles and blue eyes. Resides in CrystalClan.

Rising Sun - Short-legged molly with curly, ginger fur and golden underbelly. She has bright green eyes, and wears monarch wings as decoration.

Mountain Peak - Dark gray tolly with black tabby stripes, and rough, spiky fur. They have ragged ears, yellow eyes, and longer fangs. They wear juniper berries as decoration.

Shining Snow - Molly with snow-white pelt and gray underbelly. She has blue and yellow, heterochromic eyes, and is deaf in her right ear. She wears blue flowers as decoration.

Autumn Leaf - Calico tom with unusual, blue eyes, and a scar across his face. He wears oak leaves as decoration.
