🥚 I have brainrot and can’t sleep so- Cookie Runblings regarding Teal and some of the others cause I can:
Though Teal is the only one with an official form at the moment, I do have ideas for the other muses… at least ones who can shapeshift?
I ended up liking the ideas of Aether and Nagete being different forms of X Sprinkle Cookies… Both because “Star Sprinkle” rolled off the younger well and, ah… with Hope’s rainbow-colored hair I kept thinking of the “Rainbow Sprimkle” and “Rowbow Sprinkle” images. So she ended up with the “Rainbow Sprinkle” alias. Leah and Aamygdala… I haven’t solidified anything for yet.
Noir and Divo could technically be capable of them but again, not a lot of ideas. I’ll probably have more once I’ve played more of Kingdom? It’s very slow going at the moment.
Teal is the one I’m more trying to establish at the moment. Both cause of @musesofthesun‘s Sherbet Cookie and the stuff Ender and I have talked about for the two of them; and cause I’ve been talking on and off with a couple other blogs too, mainly @cookieofearthbread (who I’m very excited to talk to more. I’ve loved hearing about their interpretations and OCs and y’all should definitely give them a follow if you want quality conned tent.)
Cause if Teal too, I’ve been playing around with how the “Aether/Nagete conform to a world’s magic system” mechanic would be playing out there. Mainly cause, from what I’ve been told at least, a lot of what Aether and Nagete are capable of already has canon established mechanics. The only one I really knew much about before picking up the game was the time stuff vaguely. Mainly cause I have a friend on discord who muses some characters that have to do with that. So I’m getting to research and play with that a bit when I have the time to.
Another reason I’m focusing on Teal is cause. Well the guy needs to get out more and the CR universes are something he’d genuinely find intriguing and actually want to explore. Plus he oddly enough seems to fit in well there, with how varied the cast is in general. I really can’t wait to toss him at more muses and see how he bounces off them. Especially since it’s not anyone forcing him to be there. He’s there of his own volition for once.
And as fun little bonuses; I like the idea that Teal/Star Sprinkle stims with the star at the end of his ponytail or will sleeve flappy stim. Also like the idea of aether/nagete/sprinkle cookies’ mostly having tailed/winged hair and it being able to operate like their appendages in other forms… Teal tail wags at some point. He cannot hide his emotions as well as Star Sprinkle.

Gift Exchange
Christmas themed short based on the song "Happy and In Love" by Danielle Keiko Eyer
-------------------------------------------------
Hugo looked around the stalls, scoffing at everlasting flowers and wooden perfumed fans.
The Festival of Ice was supposed to have the best traders. And it almost lived up to the name.
Meteor ore to make a sword for Nuru.
Salts and gunpowder from across the sea for Yong’s fireworks.
Even glazed apples cut and folded into roses for Prometheus and a new bed for Ruddiger!
But Varian…
They had returned to Corona together a little over a month ago and safe to say, there was a distance between him and his boyfriend. When they worked together, attended the princess’s meetings, and even sleeping in the same bed.
Hugo was to blame for the distance.
He had hurt Varian, betrayed him.
But this time he was gonna get it right.
Hugo loved Varian and he was going to show it.
He was going to show his boyfriend how much he loved him and maybe they could get over the awkwardness and be happy.
He saw his reflection in a mirror and the Hugorium sapphire Varian created sparkled and winked at him.
Hugo had an idea. Check Varian’s cookbook and come back for supplies.
Yes! He had the perfect gift in mind.
*
He had idea…weighed the odds of what could happen.
But he was trapped with the unknown outcomes of how Hugo could react to…a new soldering set…
Hugo was amazing at metal work, so for the finer details…
Varian sighed.
It wasn’t good enough.
Yes, he and Hugo were going though a rough patch…Varian, possessed by his mother nearly strangled his boyfriend to death…
But he would get him a gift, reaffirm his love and…
His brain whirred and he blushed, thinking of Hugo teasing him for overthinking.
He remembered his books…the rarest book he ever owned by Nicolas Flamel himself given to him by Hugo with that devilishly handsome smirk and warm green eyes.
He bit his lip as he imagined Hugo smiling and blushing as he gave him a wrapped gift like he did his earring.
Wait.
He made a worried face but went over to a jewelers. Then listened as she called over an older woman and led Varian into a cool tent where he smelled medicinal alcohol and saw needles lining a table.
*
“No, no, no!” Hugo hissed.
It had been three days and he rarely saw Varian, the alchemist hiding in his private lab and only Nuru visiting him with a small pouch and telling Hugo he wasn’t feeling well.
Hugo knew it was a lie.
Varian gave him no privacy when he had a cold.
He decided to focus instead on his present. But the damn gem came out cloudy!
“Aluminum and copper make the perfect shade…but there’s no damn gleam!”
“Hugo?” Yong called from the door. “We’re doing the gift exchange in fifteen minutes!”
Hugo snarled.
But sighed and took the perfectly sized stone and folded the still glowing metal around it, dipping it in water and carefully cleaning it.
Twenty minutes passed when he heard a knock at his door.
“Hugo?”
“Hey, Bluebird.”
“The kids liked their gifts.” He said, walking in. “Nuru’s already practicing her swing.”
“It’s a rapier, so I think she should get a feel for the weight.” He said.
Varian moved over to him and Hugo sighed and held out the turquoise colored gem with silver veins in the tear drop shaped crystal. It was set in a woven silver pendant on a matching gold chain.
“Oh Hugo.”
“I know, it—”
“Perfect…” Varian said. “It’s almost like alexandrite…and its coloration with purple and red flecks…I’ve never seen anything like this!”
“It’s…Its supposed to be clearer. It looks cloudy and—”
“Like a galaxy of stars…” Varian said and held it to the light, Hugo noticing how the purple, red and gold flecks made the turquoise color seem almost teal in places, as if the stone was trapped in the early minutes of dawn.
“I called it Varigo in my notes…”
Varian blushed deeply and smiled.
“It makes my gift seem silly.”
“What?” Hugo asked.
“I uh, kept some of the gold chains you had given me from that busted bracelet…when we at the dark kingdom and I…”
He blushed and pushed back his hair on his right side, showing off a newly pierced ear with an earring with a small sun. He held out a matching one with a matching moon charm.
Hugo took out his extra stud, and walked to Varian, leaning his head down and closing his eyes.
With shaking fingers, Varian pinned the earring on. Hugo stood straight and took the necklace from Varian’s hands and carefully fastened it around his neck.
“Damn…I’ll have to make more.” Hugo said. “Make a stud for your other ear.”
“It didn’t hurt.” Varian said with a smile, as if proud of himself.
Hugo chuckled and hugged him tight.
“Hey…I’m sorry.”
Varian smiled. “Me too."
He pulled away and kissed Hugo's nose, looking up at him.
"I love you.”
Hugo grinned and kissed him, cradling his face. “I love you too.”
“Now come on! You need to open your presents too. Yong has probably set another curtain on fire.” He said with an eyeroll.
Hugo laughed and took Varian’s hand in his, the smaller leading him to the throne room.

Dragon Memories C2.P2
“Are we safe?” one of the elders asked, looking about for threats.
“Where are the children?” another asked, clasping the hand of their lover as close as they could. Suddenly the dark mist-like surface rippled apart into a vertex that released a great watery-dragon before merging closed once more. Upon its smooth back the survivors of Suomi Village sat, single file, staring in awe at the vision bestowed to them. It wasn’t long before the elders called out to their children, relief flooding them at the sight of their cherished children ridding the back of a watery winged serpent.
“Maor! Barak!” everyone watched as another earthen platform burst from the clouds, quickly followed by four more dragons carved from stone and leaves alike. Upon the earthen platform a bulky-golden-scaled soldier stood, his snarling mask twisting further as he spied the two young children supporting more survivors of Suomi Village. “Where is Eirian?” behind him a teal vertex opened and out came a crashing body of gray and teal, blood spewing out of the young soldier’s belly as he cried out upon landing. “Jiane!” the golden-soldier twisted but he wasn’t able to move without losing control of his platform, three other dragon-soldiers rushed to the young boy’s aid instead.
“Damn,” the young soldier coughed, his claws wrapping around his belly as his comrades supported his body.
“Tracer arrow,” one soldier murmured as he stuck his thick claws into the four-points of the arrow hole.
“Brace yourself,” another ordered as he wrapped his own claws around the thick shaft.
“Hurry,” the third hissed, “He’ll bleed out at this rate.”
“If shock doesn’t get me first,” the young soldier grunted out. The other three chuckled at him, one cut the four-pronged arrow free of his flesh, one ripped out the arrow and the third kept the young soldier pinned so the wound wouldn’t get worse.
“Behruz! Barak! Hurry to Flintlyn Village! I’ll join you shortly!” the two boys rolled towards each other, the dragon coiling around the earthen platform to create a beautiful scaled dome; the survivors safe within. The golden-scaled dragon then brought forth seven golden swords and sent them spiraling into the bottom of the boy’s earthen platform. With the aid of his magic, the two boys were sent flying at high speed towards their destination; a circular sphere of white cloud left behind as evidence of their passing. Two of the four dragons glowed before giving chase to the orb, a trail of white cloud left in their wake.
“Where is Aylin?” the golden-scaled solder asked as he looked about, “She should be here!”
“The girl was charged with the children,” one of the others ridding another dragon informed them.
“We gave her a clear path,” another added
“Tregaon sent many soldiers today, perhaps they sent more?” a pink-scaled solder questioned, one clawed palm pressed to her side.
“Are you kidding? That kid is fast!” one of the others waved a dismissive hand. “she outran all of us, she could outrun a few tree rats!”
“But she had a dozen and half children with her,” one of the others pipped up, “none know flight magic!”
“No matter her burden, she shouldn’t be this late,” the golden dragon retorted, looking about worriedly. Aylin was his strongest student, his most versatile and intelligent and the one with the most promise of dragon’s future.
“Ziya! Go!” the young dragon coughed and hacked, “She’s in trouble!” he lifted a clawed hand and revealed one of his scales glowing bright white, “She’s bleeding!” he coughed, sickly and with a wave of blood cascading down his chin. The white-glowing scale flared close to Ziya, creating a dark green portal that quickly swallowed him; transporting him to his student’s side.
“Once more,” the gray-scaled solder coughed, sweeping a handout before them and creating a large swirling vertex of dark ocean green. The dragons roared as they swirled together, catching those with Jiane as they all barreled through the portal and the platform they road upon shattered apart.
“Stupid boy!” one of the commanders barked as they appeared over Flintlyn Village, a horrible looking wreckage of stone and sodden earth left an ugly trail towards the mountain village. The young gray and blue scaled solder was caught easily by his commander, coughing as his wound spilt more blood. The others swirled together, forming a platform as they raced into the village, scattering into a thousand colorful petals and leaves as they crossed the wall.
“We need a medic!” one of the others cried out, his voice cracking with desperation. Many refugees scattered at first, crying out in terror and believing their lives to end but once they realized that was dragons in the village they calmed down quickly. Others of Flintlyn village hurried forward, those with medicine or healing magics moving forward with whispers on their lips.
“Neilior!” one of the younger solder’s cry was followed by a whiplash of water propelling both of the young teens towards their wounded comrades.
