Now let me start this off by saying I have absolutely no prior knowledge about moonknight or how this whole Marc Steven thing works, but after that first episode???? All I can think of is Marc taking care of Steven. Like, replacing his dead goldfish. Or doing small things for him. Leaving him his favorite candy. Making sure his teeth get brushed. I know that MarcSteven is a central ship to the moon knight fandom but also I want to talk about the beauty of platonic MarcSteven. Like these two share everything with each other down to the fundamentals. As Steven puts it, they’re a “package deal” now, they’re always together. Imagine them keeping each other company at a long workday. Or soothing each other after one has a nightmare and wakes up scared and in the dark? Khonshu tells Marc he caught a troublesome illness, one that only a God's Avatar would get if the conditions were met. Unrequited love for a God or a God's Avatar.

Turns out, it only affects Marc. Steven and Jake are fine when they front (maybe their eyes are a bit sore, but nothing more).

Steven questions the two jars on the windowsill, asking if Marc started collecting gems as a hobby.
