Battle of The Walking Dead - Batch#3 Quarter-Finals (featuring Rick, Carol, Eugene & Negan)

Were we shocked by the results of the Batch#3 heats?  Probably not.  Will we be shocked by the results of the quarter-finals?  Well, that's up to you!

The Battle of The Walking Dead pushes forward as eight characters await your votes, to see who will prove popular enough to make it to the semis.  All you have to do is head over to twitter, add procrastinalien, and vote for your favourite characters from THE WALKING DEAD and FEAR THE WALKING DEAD.

Who are the options?  Read on...

RICK GRIMES

The lead character from THE WALKING DEAD was always going to be a popular one, not least thanks to a stunning performance from actor Andrew Lincoln.  It's no surprise he received more votes that any other characters in this batch so far.  Rick was our way into the zombie apocalypse, from episode one, and we've followed his adventure right up until season nine... which will be his last!

AARON

Ross Marquand joined the cast of TWD back in season five, when Aaron met with the main group and took them back to his home - the Alexandria Safe Zone.  Marquand was promoted to the main titles in season eight, and will continue into (and maybe beyond?) season nine.

TARA CHAMBLER

We first met Tara in season four, when she aligned herself up with The Governor.  That was a bit of a mistake, but Glenn took her under his wing and she became a part of the main gang.  Alanna Masterson was promoted to the main titles in season seven, and continues to battle the walkers and other nasty types.

CAROL PELETIER

A bit of fan favourite, Melissa McBride's brilliant performance has made Carol a staple in the series.  She was one of the original gang, with McBride getting promoted to the main titles in the fourth season.  Heading into season nine, she's one of the longest running characters, and will be one of the lead females stepping up once Lincoln goes.  Not bad considering comic Carol died years ago.

DR EUGENE PORTER

He's a character that can be so frustrating sometimes, especially in recent seasons when he turned his back on the group to save his own backside.  He did end up kind of saving them in the longterm though... so all is forgiven, right?  Actor Josh McDermitt was introduced in season four of THE WALKING DEAD and promoted to main cast in season seven.

NEGAN

Some might disagree, but I think Jeffrey Dean Morgan was a brilliant addition to the series, which great charisma that almost makes Negan likable. Negan has been the series villain since his appearance in the season six finale where he killed off Glenn and Abraham with Lucille, his barbed bat.  He starts season nine a prisoner in the 'brave new world'.

SIDDIQ

A new character only just introduced in season eight.  He's a doctor, which is nice.  However, Siddiq, was also the reason Carl Grimes died... so he's had a troubled entry.  Avi Nash returns in the role for season nine.

SIMON

Under Negan, Simon was the biggest, baddest of the Saviors.  Some might say he was the baddest, as he's pretty unpredictable, and loves killing people on mass.  He challenged Negan's leadership and died for it.  Steven Ogg was a popular addition to the cast and some would have liked Simon to have survived season eight over Negan...

Series regulars

Before I start let me say that I’m not in any way convinced Connie is dead, nor am I itching for her to die - frankly we’re losing enough with Michonne, I think we should be holding on to as many female characters as possible!

BUT I was told on twitter that any discussion about Connie leaving is pointless because she’s literally JUST been made a series regular.

I thought it pertinent to point out that being a series regular is no body armour in this show!

Of those promoted to series regular over the years Tovah, Alexandra, Steven Ogg and poor Andrew West all were killed off IN the series they were promoted. Poor Andrew only lasted 3 episodes!

And even more died the season AFTER they were promoted. (Emily, Chad, Austin, Pollyanna etc)

Of course, plenty have lasted like Rosita and Tara but my point is - it’s a legal thing to do with their pay scale, it’s not a definer of their longevity.

A vontade de trazer os atores principais de Grand Theft Auto 5 ao Brasil já não é recente, anteriormente em 2016 o youtuber SanInPlay, junto com alguns outros influenciadores, já haviam criado uma petição para trazer as estrelas ao Brasil.

Esta campanha começou logo depois que os dubladores principais do jogo da Rockstar Games afirmarem que viajariam pelo mundo para conhecer os fãs do jogo em alguma conferência local, desde que a mesma os faça um convite para estarem presentes.

A Brasil Game Show acontecerá nos dias 09, 10, 11, 12 e 13 de Outubro, no Expo Center Norte.

E a Novo Turismo estará lá quer vir com a gente?
