Listening to soldier poet king and trying to figure which in the Cricketsville trio (Steph, Jonah, Pynn) is which,,, and!!! They're all interchangeable I'm losing it.
#They're all kings in their own right argh#Steph is the main character so he feels entitled and very child king-esque at times#it's the only way he's ever known so you can't even really blame him. he doesn't even realize he is this way#and then#theres Jonah who is intrinsically tied to the story#in a way neither he or anyone else ever understands but somehow it seems this is all for him#it feels like it should all tie back to him. like this is his birthright. but there's no concrete reason for this. The world just favors hi#it hates him and loves him and always always favors him#so he should be king in that sense#BUT THEN THERE'S PYNN#who takes control not even because she wants it but because she deserves it#it's HER birthright by the definition given to her. and if it isn't then WHAT WAS IT ALL FOR??#it HAS to all be for her or she was created just to serve and suffer and bite and bleed#she must be king because otherwise she's just a girl#...#what a horrible little royal family they are <3#DON'T GET ME STARTED ON HOW JONAH AND PYNN ARE FIGHTING FOR THE SOLDIER VERSE#both would burn down the city but for different reasons#cricketsville#Steph Chesterwood#Jonah Faust#Pynn Birdwright
