Abigail Shrier's book, "Bad Therapy: Why the Kids Aren't Growing Up," shows us -- and I have it here -- shows us a new way forward for parenting, where we don't have to lean in to the child's emotions. Where we become a little bit wary about leaning into the child's emotion. Where asking the child if they're happy isn't really favoured. It may be better ask, "Have you got something good to do? Are you busy? Have you got something kind of thoughtful to get at?"
I'm guilty of it myself. I'm always asking my kids are they happy. Happy isn't a human condition that is -- it's not the end goal you know, because if you make happiness your end goal, you'll end up thinking your way into CrazyLand.
What you'd need, what you would benefit better from, and what I would benefit better from and what your kids would benefit better from, and mine, would be having something purposeful to do. Something to sink your teeth in. Do you have something good to do today? Something interesting? Have you found yourself a good activity to get into today? Rather than, "are you experiencing joy?"
The brain is a problem-solving organ. The human brain, when it's left just at kind of ease it looks for a problem. It looks for a problem to get their teeth into. So, you'd be better off challenging your brain to play chess or learn an instrument or pass their driving test, anything. Give them small helpful achievements, small helpful goals. That would be much more helpful than ask them to talk about their feelings.
Because they live in this world, this generation of children, there's been too much emphasis on their feelings and there's this kind of concept that has grown which Abigail Shrier calls therapeutic parenting, and it's not working. The parents are leading the children into emotional dysregulation because they're asking the children about big emotions. And the child is leaning into their big emotions, when they'd be better off saying, you know what, that's an awful lot of heightened emotion. Let's move it on. Let's have a hot chocolate and think about something, Let's do something tonight. Why don't we do the jigsaw? Why don't we kind of listen to one of those podcasts and see what we think about it? Why don't we learn a little bit about, you know, Nietzsche's kind of understanding of life, or what Karl Marx thought?
The more you could lean into kind of cerebral challenges, and you might find them good kind of thoughtful podcast or YouTube just to kind of expand their mind and get into other concepts rather than thinking, am I happy? I'm not happy because of this. I'm anxious because of that. I'm worried because that's not helping these kids. We've gone too far into their emotions and they're feeling emotionally dysregulated and kind of rudderless, because they haven't got a purpose. They don't know what to do with themselves. And help them if you can at all, to find meaning and purpose each day by looking for something to keep them busy.
==
Your kids are not your patients, and you're not their therapist.
They need a parent, not a shrink.

The October 28, 2022 joint hearing of the Board of Medicine and Board of Osteopathic Medicine featured a public comment period that suspiciously began with testimony from nine anti-trans detransitioners in a row. Following the hearing, BOM member Zachariah P. Zachariah told the press that he had called these names in an order given by the Department of Health. The newly filed exhibits show that FLDOH was provided with a list of detransitioners and anti-trans parents by attorney Vernadette Broyles, president of the anti-trans Child & Parental Rights Campaign. Broyles is a prolific anti-trans activist and religious zealot who believes trans youth are the property of her deity, as she explained in a January 2020 email to a private working group of anti-trans legislators and advocacy groups.

“When individuals begin to question whether they made the wrong decision to transition, they typically progress through a series of stages. Psychotherapist Stella O'Malley, who works with many such individuals, describes what she calls the "Arc of Detransition," which includes: Distress, Hope, Belonging, Euphoria, Expectation, Disappointment, Lost in Transition, Regret, Anger, and Detransition.(25)
For example, during the "Lost in Transition" stage, a man might think:
How am I supposed to go back? I didn't feel masculine enough before I took estrogen supplements and testosterone suppressing drugs. What am I supposed to do now that I feminized my body? How do I tell my co-workers? What do I say to my roommates? Some people don't even know that I'm male, and it was stressful enough the first time I tried to transition and pass. How are people going to look at me?
Such an individual is likely to feel overwhelmed, and it is therefore essential for families, friends, and faith communities to accompany him or her through the difficult transition. He or she may also wonder, "How can I make sense of the fact that so many people who cared for me during my darkest hours were helping me to hurt myself? How can I confront the pain of admitting that I did this to myself?" During such moments, one woman found solace in the fact that she wasn't the only one: "Knowing it's widespread throughout young millennials... and Gen Z helped me to have compassion for myself and not feel so stupid. A lot of us got sucked in."(26) Helena Kerschner concurred, "I feel like a cult survivor, a thousand percent. That cult robbed me of my adolescence."(27)

PSA: LGBT mental healthcare in the UK.
The UKCP, one of the UK's biggest psychotherapy groups, has withdrawn from the memorandum on conversion therapy. This means they no longer commit to ending conversion therapy practices, including the harmful "exploratory therapy" model designed to browbeat you into being cisgendered (and will never let you transition). Please, please check whether your therapist is a member. They may not be safe.
If you're a young trans person and you're not sure what "exploratory therapy" is, you can read up here. It's spearheaded by the likes of Stella O'Malley, a member of SEGM, who has been behind many of the anti-trans bills in the US. They are backed by shady far right/christo-fascist money. They are dodgy and they can only get their pseudoscience published in quack journals. O'Malley has also been recorded calling masc lesbians fetishists.
Dr Christian Buckland, the chair, is deeply transphobic, so this is no surprise.
Stay safe, friends.

the cryptic asks are fun :)
you'll never know who i am
mainly because we're not mutuals and i dont follow anyone, so i'm invisible to you
so uh
you can call me whatever you want
ohhh okay!!!! i thought you would be one of my mutuals. you kind of remind me of faggot mouse. i am okay with more cryptic asks this is so fun yay! deciding what to call you is going to be really hard bc i barely know anything about you. i have this stupid thing in my phone where it gives me cats and i name them. maybe you could look through them and see if any names feel like you. i would put screenshots of all the names here but there would be too many. i will copy and paste some for you. under the cut bc there are 5 million even with some taken out

Guess We Should Plan Mammon (Helluva Boss) & Adam (Hazbin Hotel)'s Fanon-Wedding...(Also The Poll Results Of Adammon Have Spoken!!!)
[Note: Reading This Post Is Optional, but this post will be for Mature Audiences Only to Read. also there will be some form of censored bad word in this, so yeah...once again, Mature Readers Only. ]
so yeah, I guess I'm a little surprised so many ended up picking Adam as the one Mammon should marry...but anyway the results from that poll I made some days ago...
"Which One Would You Have Mammon (from Helluva Boss) Marry As His One True Love Perfect Match And Be His Eternal Life-Partner…In Fanon/Non-Canon."
so yeah it is like this…
Mammon Should Marry Stella, got a 26.3%
Mammon Should Marry Adam, got a 44.7%
Mammon Should Marry Blackarachnia from TFA, got a 2.6%
Mammon Should Marry Matriarch Benezia from Mass Effect, got a 2.6%
Mammon Should Marry The Evil Commander Shepard Clone (also from Mass Effect), got a 2.6%
Mammon Should Marry Lancer's Dad The King from Deltarune, got a 10.5%
Mammon Should Marry Jasper from Steven Universe, got a 7.9%
Mammon Should Marry Salem from RWBY, got a 0%
Mammon Should Marry Doctor Emily Grey from Red Vs Blue, got a 0%
Mammon Should Marry King Asgore, got a 0%
Mammon Should Marry Niffty, got a 2.6%
and lastly the one that is Mammon Should Marry Gwen from Camp Camp, got a 0%…
and all of that is the Final Results from about 38 Votes, and me being one of them since I found out you can vote on your own poll. I only picked once, and the one I picked was Adam.
I'm a bit disappointed that not many even voted for King Asgore, Salem, Dr. Grey and Gwen.
I still think that Niffty from Hazbin Hotel & Grey from Red Vs Blue, would get along very well if they met in a Fanon Timeline's Crossover.
and yeah, I love how Grey freaks out Doc's O'malley personality.
so picture Grey and Niffty saying something really creepy, and then Doc's O'Malley personality comes out and says
"Oh, No....There's Two Of Them Now!!!"
and Niffty becomes like Grey's Nurse Assistant, and they have to run after and catch O'Malley/Doc who at this moment is running for their life.
also whoever The RWBY's new adoptive parent company will be, and maybe the same one will end up adopting Camp Camp and Red Vs Blue, maybe...can't really say because I don't know.
I will still give credit to Rooster Teeth.
and even if it does turn out some didn't like how Ruby got all bad feelings in the last new volume, but excuse me if some of us can relate to her even if the experiences that we and her had are different.
and yeah, I did find out a bit more of what is going on...
I think I am thankful someone told me a bit more about the details, but I wish some can try to understand that I pretty much felt not so great, I mean yeah of course I know it wouldn't just effect me, and it also effects a lot of other people, both fans and those who have been a part of that team for years.
I wouldn't put it pass The Toxic-Masculine Energy being behind some stuff...well even if we throw the Toxic-Feminine as a suspect for having a hand in some messed up stuff that is going on, but what that energy does is cause Toxic-Feminist who I'm not really a big fan of, because they act like they are more superior then men.
but there are some women in this world who can be just as bad as some men, wake up and smell the chocolate chip cookies with strawberry jam on top...
also maybe I was misinterpreting how some were speaking to me and possibly viewing my feelings about the whole situation.
a part of me hopes that the new company that is becoming the new adoptive parent of RWBY (and possibly a few others.)
will end up saving some other stuff as well.
I can't remember the name of the video where it had talked about it.
but hopefully things will work out.
anyway since Adam became the poll winner, guess we should get him ready for his "wedding" even if it isn't canon and is 100% fanon.
also is it weird I want to call Vassago from Helluva Boss,
by the nickname "Vassy" or "Vassie" no matter how you spell it, it sounds the same.
even if he could tell the future, there is no way he can predict me.
I was both a Accident and a Surprise, well my Human Parents had me on purpose in this life.
but my Hybrid Soul being born out of the blue, could still count as both a Accident & Surprise.
if I can call Overlord Zestial, by the nickname "Zesty" then I'm gonna call Vassago by the nickname "Vassy" and maybe other fans would end up calling him that as well.
just like how I'm gonna call Charlie's Mom, Lilith by the nickname that fits her...
and that would be "The First B**th"
it would be pretty fitting, if her not really being as much of a "victim" as she claims to be, and boy if she is who she truly is, then boy did she fool Lucifer and Charlie.
Adam might be a jerk, and yeah he shouldn't of did that whole Extermination on every Sinner, only ones who truly need to be taken out...like that old man from Family Guy, who I forgot the name of but he should 100% be taken out in Extermination Day.
some might think that is cold, and mean...
but some inhuman filth who shouldn't be called "humans" anymore, with the lines they cross, would make The Vees (Vox, Valentino & Velvette) seem like a lesser scale of bad in comparison.
well that is how I view it anyway...
I can still believe in Charlie's dream, and agree with her and Emily.
but I still think that only some percent of Sinners, who should be known as "Toxic-Sinners" who are too far gone and can't have any goodness in their hearts left, they need to be taken out on Extermination Day, and don't deserve redemption.
yeah, I know I'm suppose to be a Earth Angel who should be like any other Earth Angel...but like I said before, I don't work 100% the same as the other Earth Angels.
probably because I was a Accident, and I'm Defective Earth Angel.
and yeah I have some of the words from the song that Charlie and Emily sing, memorized in my head I think.
"If Hell is forever, then Heaven must be a lie. if Angels can do whatever and remain in the sky. the rules are shades of gray when you don't do as you say, when you make the wretched suffer just to k*ll them again."
well no matter if it is in a ficto-universe or in the universe we live in...
some Eon-Boomers, will be stuck in the old ways.
even if it might cause more harm than good, and might cause some form of domestic violence to the Divine Feminine energy.
anyway back to the whole Adam x Mammon thing...
Adam ended up becoming the winner in that poll, so he has to marry Mammon...even if it isn't canon.
also if I think about it, if I do have some kind of Priestess blood, or like one of my Soul-Parents from the whole possible soul fragmenting at some point in a past life...and they were a Priestess.
could I end up acting as "The Priestess" that marries them...?
well, probably not. but it is a little funny to think if it were possible.
sadly still procrastinating in checking to see if my blood type will come out the same as the last two times when it was a success.
hopefully we can finally get around to it soon.
I still will have family help me with it, and close my eyes and make sure it is taken from my left hand because it is closer to the heart and it will get better results.
the last tries we did before, I ended up feeling not so great during them...and each time I had to go off to either sit down or lay down.
it seems to be better that I have my eyes closed during most of it.
so once we do get around to seeing that my blood type comes out
as O RH D Negative for a third time, I can just well not have to worry about checking it again for maybe a super long while.
Earth Angels might have different type of Blood Types, so maybe not all of them will be RH Negative...but I'm not 100% sure.
I know about some info that some Toxic-Religious people view those who have RH Negative blood and their by Descendants of The Nephilim and there by The Fallen Watcher Angels...
can't be saved, well excuse me for being a by product of a big mistake, I didn't ask to be made or born ya know.
and this type of stupidity and insensitivity on those like me, are reasons why I relate a little bit with Amethyst from Steven Universe.
well her, and probably a few other Gems from Steven Universe.
and yeah, some percent of us are hybrids in both our blood and our souls, but that doesn't make us less human, we are still human beings with human hearts and emotions.
and if I had to make a guess why some percent of the Nephilim turned out the way they did, it might have to do with them either casting away their Feminine side out of their bodies, or it having to do with the imbalance that also involves what happen so many centuries ago when the Goddess was wrongly dethroned.
and yeah, I have that book "Stones Of The Goddess: Crystals For The Divine Feminine" by Nicholas Pearson, to thank for that info.
Sera from Hazbin Hotel, could be like Toxic-Feminine.
and as weird as it might sound, she is starting to remind me of The Diamonds from Steven Universe, with Lilith reminding me of Pink Diamond...
Sera could be like a mix of White, Yellow and Blue Diamond.
I guess I don't 100% hate Pink or Lilith, but they pretty much did some messed up stuff that ended up hurting those that loved them.
and Steven & Charlie deserve better than that, they shouldn't have to fix their Moms mistakes or the damage they cause.
even if Lilith didn't give up her physical form to have Charlie, because well it being Lucifer that had Charlie, which makes one think that if it is the Boy Angel that has the baby, no matter if they are Fallen or not.
which could mean that in Helluva Boss, it could be that Paimon who became pregnant and had the eggs if some of his children ended up being a Anthropomorphic Bird.
picture that Butler Imp (who I'm still gonna view as Stolas's Real Dad, even if they aren't biologically related) having to deal with Paimon's weird food cravings and mood swings.
Stella might not of been given the talk, and only believes she had Octavia's egg, but really it was Stolas.
Andy, give your sister Stella the talk, she can't be oblivious to the truth forever.
in the Fanon, it can be either way, like either the guy or gal having the baby.
but anyway, like I was saying even if Lilith didn't give up her physical form to have Charlie, because the whole Lucifer being the one that had been pregnant instead.
she is still Charlie's Mom, but with how things are, some fans could have theories that she might not of really cared for her family.
Charlie might see Adam as this terrible person who tried to boss around and control her Mom when they were still together.
but sometimes not all is what they seem, yeah even if Adam can be a butt-head and a bit full of himself, but if he wasn't always that way...then you can bet that The First B**th had something to do with it.
Adam could match the song "Born Without A Heart" by Faouzia.
if by some chance Adam does get reborn as a Sinner, "The First B**th" better stay the double-heck away from him.
at least the Lilith from our universe has a better excuse, but at the same time....both Lilith & Adam from our universe could of been victims.
you know like the old saying, girls mature faster than boys...
well the same case could also imply with Lilith and Adam.
if Adam knew or understood what those three angels were going to do to her if she didn't come back to where he was...maybe he could of waited and they both given space, things could of worked out better.
couples sometimes, need space away from each other but still be together.
they don't have to be joined at the hip 24/7.
and the whole trying to make Gran-Gran Lilith return to Adam against her will, even if those three were told not to.
is not a good thing, and we can make some guesses why she became a monster or seen as such later on.
both Gran-Gran Lilith & Gran-Gran Eve are human beings with feelings, and the reason why things got so messed up during those times might have to do with the imbalance and the whole hey lets neglect the matriarchy and give the patriarchy full focus.
and the balance seem to be getting a bit more better, but of course with some messed up stuff that had happen, like one of them being Covid-19, some angel-boys might be crossing lines they shouldn't.
hopefully the Divine Feminine energy will get stronger to stop the misbehaving Toxic-Masculine one, and have true balance with the good side of the Divine Masculine energy.
anyway, about that poll I made...
I hope some enjoyed it, and happy that Adam from Hazbin Hotel won. and next I will be posting a drawing that has Adam in it where he is a member of The S.A.P Squad.
the name makes sense once you see the drawing.
anyway, Congratulation to Adam (Hazbin Hotel) & Mammon (Helluva Boss) on their Engagement and their future Wedding. XD
PS:
and they can't get out of their Engagement either, The Eveningstar Princess and the rest of those who voted on that poll have spoken. lol

BREAKING
Trans Safety Network have become aware of concerning information regarding a study of trans, nonbinary and gender diverse adolescents aged 13-17. The study is being undertaken by Jacky Grainger at UCLan as part of her doctoral research.
Grainger is notorious in the Irish LGBTQ+ community for having co-authored an article concerning a Bill to ban convesion therapy within the Irish Times. The article downplays the present day reality of conversion therapy, and led to a boycott by the Irish Students Union.
The piece to the Irish Times was written alongside Stella O’Malley who has been caught on record advocating for conversion therapy for young trans individuals.
O'Malley is part of a network of clinical and research professionals who were recently exposed as having links to ultra-conservative religious conversion therapy activists
We have written to UCLan asking them about their ethics approval basis and raising these publicly documented facts as potential safeguarding concerns.
The thread goes on to say:
Until there is clear assurance that meaningful safeguards are in place for research participants, especially given that this research involves adolescent research subjects, we would recommend young trans people and their parents avoid participation in this study.

I suspect that neither Stella Malone nor Joe Lucas are dog people
If they were animals they'd be Thomas O'Malley and Duchess from Aristocats
As far as pets go I don't see them as having any because they're both always so busy
Joe with his music and touring
Stella with her fashion company - because of course she becomes a world renowned designer but still styles her trophy husband

3 a book for arguing about
If we're going for the most basic argument book, I would go with the second book in the Crescent City series by Sarah J Maas.
I'm under no illusions about what I'm getting when I pick up one of SJM's books- I read because of the trashy nature of it, not despite it. That being said, I think I was pleasantly surprised at the worldbuilding, the strong female friendships (even beyond death), the decent mystery and the last 200 pages of the first book, which built to an entirely earned emotional pay-off climax, and promising set up for the rest of the series.
This second book? Took what was great about the first book and threw it into a blender to produce some a/b/o mush and incoherent plotting. The main couple become bland as fuck and as just interested in that - fucking- and not in the earth-shattering revelations they're stumbling on. Look, I enjoy a good sex scene as much as the next but there's got to be a time and place, and having your immortal/long-lived characters acting like horny teenagers is tiring when it's every. Third. Chapter.
Also, the secondary, intriguing characters get flashes of interesting plot, and then it back to the main bland couple. Plus, some retconning of what made Danika interesting in the first book... ehhhh. I can see the bones of what would've been a good second book that goes deeper into the conspiracy of what went into creating that society but it's just so underbaked. Frustrating.
...
I could also go with Leigh Bardugo's Nikolai duology and the decision to bring back [redacted], when I feel like the more interesting story is to deal with legacies and how they're presented but you know, I feel like I've lost the battle with fandom on that one.
------
I also have a non-fiction one... I have a four year old, and am occasionally interested in picking up parenting / child pyschology books. A lot of the 'free range kids' approach appeals to me but is very American-centric and so I picked up a book written by Irish author, Stella O'Malley, called Cotton Wool Kids.
It was fine.
There were some useful tips but a lot of the reasons and societal explanations used to explain why kids are wrapped in 'cotton wool' and not allowed as much freedom seemed to be very much based on the older generation's fears... aka, stranger danger kidnapping. Which isn't why I'm reading this book. So I want an updated version of this philosophy and how as a millenial parent, I can connect with it. *shrugs*

healthliberationnow (.) com/2022/04/02/leaked-audio-confirms-genspect-director-as-anti-trans-conversion-therapist-targeting-youth/ how do you reconcile this when listening? I feel like there’s nowhere for me to go as someone who doesn’t think my dysphoria is proof of an innate gender identity but also doesn’t support debunked pseudoscience used to hurt people like AGP/ROGD. I feel really hopeless.
I think there's very little basis for tossing AGP and ROGD as concepts into the junk bin as "debunked pseudoscience," though I think the place of each in the discussions is unnecessarily and suspiciously large in a way that does imply really troubling things to me- a baseline discomfort with male gender nonconformity on the one hand such that any interaction between a person's sexual orientation and their day to day behavior is cast not just as fetishim but a violent fetishism even though both heterosexual and homosexual people's daily behavior is obviously impacted by their sexual orientation, and a baseline discomfort on the other with the question of why children who are NOT easily sorted into the easy peasy ROGD category, who were very gender nonconforming children who are likely to grow into very gender nonconforming adults, would be so uncomfortable in their bodies that they would be dreaming of not having them. To be clear, I think we probably agree that the terms are not "scientific;" that is to say, I don't think they speak to some natural, non-social truth. I think they are terms (frankly, like "gender dysphoria") that human beings invented to describe human phenomena that are experienced by real human beings in ways that the affected will tell you deeply impact their lives, and that they create frameworks that prove themselves very useful for understanding those phenomena. For ROGD in particular, I think people who find it to be an offensive proposition that teenaged girls would spread a form of expressing emotional distress among themselves need to explain why they find that proposition offensive in and of itself because I've seen absolutely 0 good reasons to make that jump myself, and secondly they need to offer up their alternative explanation for the rapid rise in non-female identification among girls and young women, and in order for me to find that alternative explanation as compelling it would need to account for things ROGD accounts for like social pressure to be associated with marginalized people, and the outright swap from mostly male to mostly female patients in gender clinics, and the phenomenon of entire friend groups identifying as nonbinary one by one.
As for Stella O'Malley's opposition to pediatric medical transition, firstly it doesn't bother me because I share it, but secondly it's not anything close to a secret that she generally opposes the medicalization of gendered distress in children. I am pretty sure it's why the podcast began. But even if I had really major reservations about that, I would very possibly still really enjoy the podcast, because a podcast is not "a place for me to go," it's a piece of media in which ideas that I personally find very interesting and meaningful and relevant are discussed. And I think that parasocial relationships and the cultural acceptance of them have helped to land us culturally where we are right now, where we can't even ask questions or discuss these things in public without being shouted down by people who don't even bother to offer up their own ideas. I really really enjoy the podcast, and I have some admiration for Sasha in particular, but I don't have a personal relationship with either person, I enjoy the thing they created because I find the discussions interesting and I regularly find myself in disagreement and agreement with these two women, who are perfect strangers to me. I am also a firearms enthusiast and I regularly watch videos or take classes or passingly discuss hobbies with on the internet people whose opinions on any number of things I would likely find absolutely abhorrent if I approached every interaction like an interaction with my best friend in the whole world.

An Unexpected Family Reunion- CH 34 Gut Check
Previous. Masterlist.
The next morning at school Sadie was walking through the crowded hallway on her way to Chemistry class when Scarlett O'Malley appeared in front of her, blocking her path.
"Move"
Sadie said flatly, seeing as she really wasn't in the mood to deal with her. The stress of everything lately has been building and her whole life and routine has been thrown off.
"What's wrong Severdie? Are we homesick?"
"What are you talking about O'Malley?"
"You, I mean being in foster care has to be rough. Away from your only family?"
Sadie was confused, she hadn't told anyone her situation, not even Collin. As far as she knew the only person privy to that information was her school counselor.
"How did you-?"
A teacher came between them
"Move it along ladies, get to class."
Scarlett gave her a smartass smirk before walking away. Sadie made her way to class, but was unable to pay attention. She was thinking of ways that Scarlett could have known anything about her personal life.
Later that afternoon Stella walked out to the squad table looking for Kelly, her phone pressed to her ear.
"Yeah Maggie he's right here."
She handed the phone over to her confused fiance.
"Hey Maggie, is everything ok?"
"I just got a call from Ann saying Sadie never came back from school. I was hoping she was there with you."
His brow furrowed as he stood up
"No she's n...." He stopped talking as he watched his little sister making her way up the apron.
"I got her Mags, she's here. I'll give you a call back." He abruptly hung up and made his way over to Sadie.
"What the hell are you doing? Get in here!"
He quickly ushered her into the building.
"Hey Sadie's here!" Gallo announced happily
Kelly frowned and shook his head at him, as he led her to his quarters, Stella followed close behind.
Closing the door he turned his attention back towards the nervous teenager.
"Sades! What the hell?"
"I'm sorry Kelly, but I needed to talk to you."
He took a calming breath, he was happy to see her, but was also afraid the wrong person might have seen her walking into the firehouse.
"What is it?"
"Is there a firefighter named O'Malley you may know, or maybe he's on another shift here at 51?"
"I know there's not one at this house. There's an O'Malley over at 91, but I haven't talked to him in years....why what's this about?"
"There's this girl at school who's been bullying me-"
"You're getting bullied?" Kelly asked in a protective tone
"Calm down, I can handle myself. Her name is Scarlett O'Malley, somehow she knows that I'm in foster care."
"Well maybe she talked to one of your friends."
"I haven't told anyone, not even Collin."
"Oh you and Collin are still a thing?" Stella smiled, which was met by a glare from Kelly. "Sorry"
"Well maybe she found out another way." He said, exasperated
"Kelly...you always tell me to trust my gut. And my gut is saying something isn't right."
