کارخانه ماءالشعیر سازی (Steinecker Brewnomic) در مسیر آیند، با ظرفیت تولید 2.6 میلیون هکتولیتری،
قادر است مصرف انرژی حرارتی را تا حدود 60 درصد و مصرف برق را تا 30 درصد
در مقایسه با یک کارخانه ماءالشعیر سازی معمولی کاهش دهد.
این یک کارخانه آبجوسازی 100٪ پایدار است، یعنی می تواند با استفاده از ضایعات حاصل از فرآیند پخت، انرژی خود را تولید کند.
نیروگاه آبجوسازی (Brewnomic) از نظر انرژی خودکفا است،
زیرا این کارخانه ماءالشعیر سازی انرژی خود را با استفاده از مواد باقیمانده انباشته شده در طول فرآیند پخت تامین می کند.
(Brewnomic) همچنین دارای CO2 خنثی است، زیرا مواد باقیمانده بر اساس مواد خام تجدید پذیر هستند.
