I'll just get straight to the point- one of my best friends, Asher, has been suffering at the hands of his ableist, LGBTQ+-phobic, and bigoted family for countless years. Many an opportunity to make his life better- crushed by these assholes who insist on infantilizing and devaluing him as if he was some sort of toy existing to collect dust on their shelves.

It's safe to say that the conditions surrounding his current life situation is far from healthy, and it's even getting to hazardous levels when considering the fact that his parents have refused to tackle the infestation of roaches within their house time and time again. He's in an unsafe environment- detrimental to his physical and mental health, and now is the time for us to free him from these scum of the earth.

Been going through a lot lately and unfortunately I might risk losing my job at this point which might completely halt all my plans of moving to another state for a better life. I’m so glad all of you have been so patient with me and I appreciate some of the support I’ve received here.

I’m planning on meshing my account together with my art accounts under the name RaveMajestic soon for all future projects. All witch related content and my current name will remain the same here, I’m just adding more substance I suppose 😌 I’ve got a lot planned~ so stay tuned

not me reading bnha in Japanese and tearing up at the part in chapter 1 where All Might says "You too can be a hero!" bc I read it!

I can read and understand the whole manga! I know that my ability to speak and read Japanese is still worse than most native-speaking preschoolers, but it's been a dream of mine to learn the language literally since I was twelve. I had to wait until college to take any classes, because there just weren't options before then (I tried to self teach, but only got so far on my own).

Throughout my studies, I struggled a lot with self-deprication. Even as I passed tests, I was still beating myself up in my head. I was still thoroughly convinced that I could never read it since I've got some learning disabilities and the number of unique Kanji was daunting. Ultimately, I didn't really try to learn to read because I convinced myself that I could never do it. I did it enough to pass tests, but it never really stuck because my brain dumps info that it learns when stressed. I've since graduated, and I decided to study it again, because I want so badly to be able to read it-

And I can! I can do it! I can read this entire manga in its native language! This is the most amazing feeling on the planet! I'm literally crying in sync with Midoriya Izuku, bc my dreams are being realized on the page where All Might is telling him that his dreams can be made a reality. You guys.

I like to use this comic to try pushing myself out of my comfort zone and practice drawing things I'm normally not very good at drawing—like buildings! And perspective! And actual populated scenes!

in other news: still unsure when I'll be able to start properly posting. Right now I'm focusing on getting this batch of pages done, then from there I'm going to see if I can get some kind of weekly schedule going. Gonna try to get as much as I can done before school starts kicking my ass again.

I have my grievances towards PM and his own actions, yes, but, until this gets debunked, we will not accept any asks regarding Slimebeast's works.
