F: Here goes nothing
Flint takes a deep breath before stepping into the portal ahead.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Flint nervously walked through the portal, unsure of what to expect in the magical realm. But as soon as she exited, all her worries melted away as she was mesmerized by the grand and ornate structure. As she stepped closer, she couldn't help but notice the other five students who were also there for orientation, all equally in awe of their new surroundings. Hopefully she isn't too late.
Tumblr media
D: This place is absolutely stunning
Daphne said to no one in particular. However, something or more like someone catches her attention out her peripheral. A pretty cyclops girl stood across the way. They briefly locked eyes for a moment before she smiled and carried on into the building.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
D: *clears throat* make that two things
She mumbles to herself.
Tumblr media
X: Ugh, I thought he'd never stop speaking. Almost fell asleep from boredom
M: Relax bro, we literally just got here
Xen kisses his teeth and crossed his arm
X: I came here for one thing and one thing only. To cut loose and keep my adrenaline flowing. I was promised duels and challenges
M: *cough* That's two things
Tumblr media
X: Whatever, y'll can stand here all you want but I'm going to find something that's worth my time
And with that he was off. Mack rolls eyes and chuckles to himself
M: With that attitude, that guy is in for a rude awakening
Tumblr media
L: I don't see anything wrong with a little fun. He's just excited, aren't you?
M: If you say so
L: Boooo, stop being such a negative Nancy. Come on slow pokes!
Before he could utter a word, Leona was speeding off right behind him to god knows where.

For @blvckentropy 's Fil-Morgue High/University: The STARNES TWINS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
No one knows how two teen twins ended up living independently in a Copperdale abode, with no family outside of themselves. No one has bothered to ask. Because who cares? They're here now. Focused on acing school and looking good while doing it. And they're generally cool to approach...unless you mess with one of them. The other will come with claws out.

Samara Starnes
Part of the 3rd generation of my legacy, Samara was the one who convinced Fitzgerald that the bachelor life was not for him. They married, moved to Newcrest, and raised their four children there. Her daughter Topaz is basically her mini-me.
No download - adding her for family tree documentation purposes. Samara was gone before I started saving my sims. She is a makeover of Samara Starnes by @simsonico (I even kept the name).

Doug and Mike Starn, American artists, identical twins, born 1961. Having received international attention at the 1987Whitney Biennial, for more than 20 years the Starns were primarily known for working conceptually with photography, and are concerned largely with chaos, interconnection and interdependence. Over the past two and half decades, they have continued to defy categorization, effectively combining separate disciplines such as photography, sculpture and architecture,
most notably their series Big Bambú.

This Old Man
Case Number: NR 03/25/01/4546 Incident: Murder Reporting Officer: Detective Nicholas Starns Date of Report: March 25th, 2001
The body of a middle aged man was found in the basement of an abandoned home after neighbors reported seeing the cellar door ajar. No witnesses report seeing anyone, including the man, entering or leaving the property. The ID in the victim's wallet confirms that he is Robert McCann, age 35.
The victim was hung from the ceiling of the basement by both of his thumbs and his neck. The material used to hang him was fifteen-pound test fishing line. Ten strands were tied to each appendage and around his neck. Both of his thumbs and his head were dark purple, and we swollen to the point of bursting.
Evidence: The only evidence was a note was found in the shirt pocket of the victim. The note reads as follows:
"This Old Man He Played One He Played Knickknack On My Thumbs"
Case Number: NR 03/28/01/4547 Incident: Murder Reporting Officer: Detective Nicholas Starns Date of Report: March 28th, 2001
The body of a teenage male was discovered in an alley not too far from the home in case number 03/25/01/4546. Several trash men discovered the body underneath a pile of cardboard boxes. No form of identification was found on the body.
The victim's neck was mangled and disfigured. The autopsy confirmed that the esophagus and the trachea were crushed. Several shoeprints were evident on the throat of the victim.
Evidence: The prints were recorded for their size and shoe type; Size 11's but no matching shoes were found in the database. A note was found in the mouth of the victim. The crumpling of the paper suggests it was forced in. The note reads as follows:
"This Old Man He Played Two He Played Knickknack On My Shoes"
Case Number: NR 04/03/01/4548 Incident: Murder Reporting Officer: Detective Nicholas Starns Date of Report: April 03, 2001
The body of an elderly woman was found in her home. Concerned family members reported her being missing after several days without contact. There were no signs of forced entry and nothing was stolen. Her name was Sarah Jean Weaver.
The victim was found approximately ten feet from her front door, sprawled on the floor. Her legs seemed to have been torn off and laid neatly by her front door. Twin trails of blood led from her front door to the place she lay, as if she crawled from something to the spot where she died. She died from obvious blood loss.
Evidence: No evidence was found at the scene of the crime other than another note. This note, found in one of the shoes on her disembodied feet, read as follows:
"This Old Man He Played Three He Played Knickknack On My Knee"
Case Number: NR 04/17/01/4549 Incident: Murder Reporting Officer: Detective Nicholas Starns Date of Report: April 17th, 2001
The body of a young businessman, Alexander Montague, was found in his office early on the morning of this report. His secretary reported leaving the office before he did. She returned in the morning to find his corpse. Once again, there were no signs of forced entry and nothing was missing.
The victim was found kneeling by his door, as if he were attempting to look through the keyhole. The doorknob was impaled through his eye socket. No other trauma or marks were found on the victim's body.
Evidence: On the person of the victim was a folder of business documents and receipts. Among these was a typed note. The note reads as follows:
"This Old Man He Played Four He Played Knickknack On My Door"
Case Number: NR 04/25/01/4550 Incident: Murder Reporting Officer: Detective Nicholas Starns Date of Report: April 25th, 2001
The body of a local farmer was found in his tool shed after his wife reported him missing. She claims that he had gone out to water the crops a day before and did not return. The tardiness of this report is suspicious on her part and she has been brought in for further questioning.
The victim was found in the corner of the tool shed. His body was covered in bee stings. His extremities had swollen to almost twice their size. He died either from suffocation or an enormous amount of bee toxin. In the opposite corner were a large number of broken bee hives. The splattering of honey on the walls suggests that they were thrown inside of the shed. The shed itself was locked from the outside.
Evidence: Impaled on a pitchfork was a note. The note reads as follows:
"This Old Man He Played Five He Played Knickknack On My Hive"
Case Number: NR 05/04/01/4551 Incident: Murder Reporting Officer: Detective Nicholas Starns Date of Report: May 04th, 2001
The bodies of a nurse and a doctor were found in an operating room in the local St. Elizabeth Hospital. Staff on duty reported screams coming from the room moments before the discovery of the two victims. No one was seen entering or leaving the room other than the nurse and doctor, named Janet Harding and Sonny Ellis respectively.
The victim's both had their torsos torn open. Their ribs had been removed from their bodies and had been stabbed through their necks. Death was instantaneous.
Evidence: On a nearby operating table, a note was found written on prescription paper. The note reads as follows:
"This Old Man He Played Six He Played Knickknack On My Sticks"
Case Number: NR 05/09/01/4552 Incident: Murder Reporting Officer: Detective Nicholas Starns Date of Report: May 09th, 2001
The body of a priest was found in the confessional of the St. Marx Cathedral. A young man, Angelo Washington, had been confessing to Father O'Cyrus when he noticed that the man had stopped replying to him. Upon further inspection, the priest was dead. The young man reports that he and the priest were talking in the confessional moments before he had gone silent. He also reports that the priest's confessional did not open during the confession.
The victim was found sitting up in the confessional. His face was virtually gone. The bottom of a large cross had been stabbed through his head and through the back of the confessional.
Evidence: The priest had a death grip on a Holy Bible. Scribbled on the inside of the cover was the following message:
"This Old Man He Played Seven He Played Knickknack Up In Heaven"
Case Number: NR 05/16/01/4553 Incident: Murder Reporting Officer: Detective Nicholas Starns Date of Report: May 16th, 2001
The body was discovered on the property of a local historic manor. The man had no identification on his person. The owners of the manor found the body as they were coming back from shopping. They reported leaving the manor and seeing no one else on or near the property as they left.
The victim was found atop the wrought iron gate guarding the entrance to the estate. The pointed tops of the gate impaled several of the victim's major organs. Suicide was ruled out due to the inconvenient height of the gate.
Evidence: In the mailbox on the property was a note. The note reads as follows.
"This Old Man He Played Eight He Played Knickknack On My Gate"
Case Number: NR 05/20/01/4554 Incident: Murder Reporting Officer: Detective Nicholas Starns Date of Report: May 20th, 2001
The body of a young woman was found on an elevator. Witnesses reported seeing her walk onto the elevator in perfect health. They also reported seeing her walk onto the empty elevator alone. Video surveillance show the elevator stopping once. The woman did not exit the elevator, but an elderly man entered the elevator. The elevator went up one more floor and opened its doors. In the elevator was the body of the woman. The elderly man was nowhere to be seen.
The victim was found on the floor of the elevator. Her blood was all over the inside. Her back was torn open and her spinal column was ripped from her body. Death was quick.
Evidence: The man's face is seen on the camera quite clearly. His identify will be investigated immediately.
In the woman's purse, a note was found. It reads as follows:
"This Old Man He Played Nine He Played Knickknack On My Spine"
Case Number: NR 05/21/01/4556 Incident: Murder Reporting Officer: Chief Of Police Matthew Russel Date of Report: May 21st, 2001
The body of Nicholas Starns was found in his home at approximately 2 p.m. His neighbor's report hearing loud banging sounds prior to calling the police station. There was no sign of forced entry and no sign of a struggle.
The victim was found sitting at his computer desk. A railroad spike had been driven through his forehead. On his table were the many records of the murders he had been reporting for the last several months. A picture of a man standing outside of an elevator lay on top of them.
The only witness was an elderly man who claims to have seen a person the size and build of the detective enter and leave with a sledgehammer in hand. It should be noted that the senility of the elderly man can be questioned, as he would not stop humming an old nursery rhyme while being asked other questions.
Evidence: A note was crumbled in the hand of the detective. It read as follows: "This Old Man He Played Ten He Played Knickknack Once Again"
Another note was found on the forehead of the victim, kept on his forehead by the railroad spike. It reads as follows. "Knickknack, Paddywhack, Give A Dog A Bone, This Old Man Came Rolling Home"

Radical Theory and Practice Project Mood Board - one
I want to continue exploring my home as my primary subject matter. I don't think that I have made a piece that has been explicitly about my backyard yet, so this would be my venture into doing so. My dad has had this "garden" in a large chunk of our backyard for about 10 years, maybe a little more. He constructed the rows for planting himself, and before he lost his mobility he would fill each row with fresh dirt and grow produce that everyone in the house (besides him) deemed too dubious to eat. He especially likes/d growing tomatoes and he would build these tipi like structures out of bamboo sticks so that the tomato vines had somewhere to cling. My intention with this work is to recreate these structures with as many sticks as are available in my back yard and leave them standing outside (between the welding area and the foundry). I may include some soft bricks/shapes that I sewed together and leave them squished underneath the legs of some of the "tripods" - if the soft shapes represent me, then perhaps the viewers can glean some symbolic meaning from the simple gesture of leaving the shapes squished underneath a contraption of my dad's design.
