I wanted to explore their relationship a bit more.

I'm a big fan of childhood friends to lovers trope. I like the idea of the farmer visiting Pelican town every summer and then not visiting after a certain age. Then rekindling after taking over the farm!

Young!Sebastian admired her a lot, whether or not he had a crush on her is still undecided. (Maybe a crush on Abby?) Farmer 100% saw him like a little brother that followed her around while she's in Pelican town, especially after Maru was born!

Sebastian is a little cold at first, but he warms up pretty quickly. Farmer at first treats him very similar to how she treated him when they were younger. (like he's a little kid) When Sebastian realizes his feelings for farmer he struggles to show her that he's no longer the same kid she used to know.

I really wish I was a good writer sometimes. So I can flesh out these two. :(

love that the 1.6 update has basically told us that the farmer can read at an insane rate. Like that scene in the first episode of doctor who where 9 reads a whole book in a single second. So now I'm just imagining Elliott giving us a copy of the book he spent years writing and we read the entire thing in like 2 seconds and just go "yea it was good"

Whoops, another wave of burnout and health hit while I was in the middle of this but hey I finally finished it. Got my first moss rain and it nearly gave me a panic attack, why the hell was Elliott so chill about it. Green!
