Sigh… Honestly the first lummie (a creature who can switch between Staryummy, a creature of darkness and Lumen, a magical creature that guard the core of stars and planets in Magix) he foster-and-no-choice-but-to-adopt is Velvet to obtains citizenship. Then, her brothers, Max and Blake, despite Blake is selected to be in Ultimos’ school by Travis. He wished he could take Velvet, Dan, and Max’s cousin, Elizabeth in, but she chosen to be with her family for a while untill Hannibal take Elizabeth away and have her stay with her grandparents in Lumenia, after finding out her stepmother, her father, and uncles neglect her and suffered from bullying. But she finally chose him to raise her as her dad. Later on, which is two years later, he took in an orphan Staryummy named Viola and Elizabeth’s half siblings, Gold’s illegitimate children, Uma, Blake, Nash, Marin, and Mimi. Then he adopt Emo Jr. and Umbra-Violet/Umbra-Victoria’s son, Emo Jr. Jr., who changed his name to Bluey, who happened to be Velvet, Max, and Dan’s little brother. Legally adopted children five years later: Vinnie, Vanny, May, Ben, Helena, Aurora, Yumi, Delilah, Meena, Laurel, Poppy, Roxie, Aiden, Jewel, and Gem. After that, he will adopts Minnie, the daughter of Elizabeth and her half-siblings’ stepmother, Marie and their dad, Gold.

Hannibal will have three biological children with @hotsassbacon’s Javelin, Gladius, Sosimo, and Hilary-Sanurra. When all the (Staryummy/Lummie) children are all grown up, he taken in more staryummies, who’s came in his doorstep, babies who are bandaged up. I don’t know the exact amount, I only know two of them and are unnamed.

“………… I want to go home,”

This is coming from a child, born from a union between a fairy and lumen, Dorana Junior Starling Lumenia. She is levitating as she watch the children having fun in the public park, Townsville Park. Dorana Junior hugging her Ishiyama action figure. She wish she can have friends, just like her little sister, Astra. Stella Junior and Twinkly are her only friends, but they are too busy with their responsibilities (Stella Junior’s responsibilities as a princess, fairy, and a superhero and Twinkly’s responsibilities as Stella’s successor). If only her wish that people forget about the incident, then she will have lots of friends. Who can blame her, that child does not entirely know the story of why her subjects (well exiled subjects) are visiting Townsville. No in the planet, Earth-ni.

“And why is that?” Said a voice from above, Dorana Junior looked up to see who said that. Her eyes are focusing on Niko sitting upside down on the paper white birch tree. She have a blend of lime green and purple color eyes. Dressed up in a downtown girl aesthetic. Neon cyan hair with black highlights is pulled back to half a ponytail. The book, Fairytale by Stephen King laid down on her chest. Niko’s expression soften a bit. “You are the reason that the staryummies exist.”

Dorana Junior’s stomach churning and tears are forming from her eyelid. “No Kai,” Dorana Junior answered. The people of Townsville still remember what happened. Meaning they are still mad at her. Hates her. She should have stays in Bellwood, instead of coming back to Townsville to stay with her sister, Astra and cousins, Starla, Star-Marie, and Blackholetchi.

Niko blinks and continues staring at Dorana Junior. “But…. SJ said he didn’t do it.” She said. Niko thinks about it more… The Staryummy problem is caused by a Fairies. Dorana Jr. is technically a fairy. At the same time, Kai, who she never met, could have fairy genes. “Though, according from the adults I know, Kai actually done it. BUT you done it in my hometown.”

“Because they were just visiting.” Dorana Junior explained. The Staryummies took an advantage of her kindness and loneliness. Thanks to them, she will never see Alice again.

“Yeah, but you went too far,” Niko pointed out. “I saw you on the news. Me and my brothers did actually.”

Dorana 2 knew it. That stranger is one of her haters. Tears are rolling down her face.

“You’re just a kid, you can’t have subjects. But even if you did, it doesn’t mean you can treat them like pets!”

Then again…. She treated the Staryummies, corrupted lumens as pets, not actual people. While Townsville treated them as a combination of criminals and pests because she let them do what they wanted. The guilt consume the kid, causing Dorana 2 to have second thoughts.

Niko frown as she watch Dorana 2 cry. Her big brother told her to be careful on how she talks to people. Niko grimaced, and wish she never open her mouth because she made a kid cry. “………………..Look, I am not here because I demand an apology from you. I just wants to say that I am sorry that you received so much hates. You don’t deserve to be hated.”

Dorana 2 looks at Niko and smiles despite going through so much pain. That person is not a hater after all.

“I heard you went to Bellwood, but now you came back because it died down.” Niko continued talking. Looking down at her Ishiyama action figure, showing that she is a fan of Sumo Slammers. “It is somewhat die down, so you can live normally, just with cold eyes looking at you behind your back….”

“I don’t want to be a monster,” Dorana 2 confessed, hugging her action figure.

When Niko heard these words out loud, it taken her back to when she was naive. Before Ethan’s dream is crushed.

Niko was reading a book, either it was ‘Skydancers April Blossom’s Wedding’ or ‘Warrior Cats: Vision of Shadows - Shattered Sky’ (She felt pity for Darktail, despite being an evil cat.) and the sound of the door open. Then she heard someone unlocked the door to come in.

“Ethan?” She asked. She teleport and sees Ethan. She runs over give him a hug, which oddly enough he didn’t return. “Did you make a big impression on your interview?”, she asks her brother in joy. But instead of seeing him in confidence, all she saw is depression, pain, and, especially, anger. He doesn’t say it, but she knows. She knows something horrible happened to Ethan.

“Ethan, what happen?”, she asks, worried for her brother. Ethan doesn’t move, he doesn’t speak for the first couple of minutes. He has his face down, so Niko can’t tell what he is feeling. He pulls a paper out of his back pocket and unfolds it. On top of the paper, it says on the top:

Rejection

Niko looks at the big red stamped paper.

“I….I didn't make it,” he chokes. Tears are dripping down his face as he continues. “I didn’t understand why, but now....n-now, I do. We are such a monster”.

After that, he walks into his room and shuts the door. Niko tilted her head in confusion, but saddened by the news.

“I am so sorry,” she said, feeling sympathetic about how crushed her brother is..

“You too huh?” Niko asked.

Dorana 2 continues smiling through the pain with a nod.

“Me and my brothers are seen as monsters here… I have two brothers actually. One is an alien and the other is a host. They may look mean, they are actually nice especially when they are around kids?”

Dorana 2 is puzzled. “The host?”

Niko is surprised that Dorana 2 never heard about it. “Oh. Well, you heard of Venom?”

“No,” Dorana 2 answered shaking her head. Niko rubs her neck. “Well… He and his host, Eddie, they were not good people. They were bad guys, enemies to The Avengers and Spider-Man. That was in the past. Now they are superheroes currently. But my brothers hate them because…. They are deadbeats and everyone labels my brothers for their old men’s crimes in the past. Telling them that they will be just like their dads, a villains. So unfair.” Niko summarized.

The story about Niko’s brothers made Dorana 2 really sad, and she bawled her eyes out. Niko feels really bad for talking about her brothers. She doesn’t not know how to comfort her, so got up from her spot to give Dorana 2 a hug. Dorana 2 opened her mouth in surprise and the tears of pain becomes tears of happiness.

“I am sorry. I still am angry at what happened to me and my family. I should be more worry about you. I should have not say that. You are just a kid.” Niko apologized.

Dorana 2 removed herself from the hug.

“I should go now.” Said Dorana 2, walking away from Niko to head home to her little sister, Astra. Niko does the same by flying off home. As she got there, she put her book down on her bed, then sit down to her desk to do some journaling. As she turned to the next page, she found a folded paper between the blank pages. Niko picks it up, unfolded it, and take a pause to looks at the poster. Niko clenched her hands at the poster in her hands, staring at it for a moment before she fold it back into a square, and hide it inside her journal. She needs to find a way to make sure no one is going to be treated as a monster, just because of their mistakes and being so different.
