My favourite thing about the Phineas and Ferb fandom is that you can bring up any scene from literally any episode and everyone will immediately know what you're on about. The way HanJoon was trying to hide his desperate state from YooJae and the love that came from a gift that YooJae thoughtlessly threw

on the ground and broke.

(YooJae did that because he loves him anyway, because he loves him and wants to protect him and take care of him and give him the nice things he deserves but HanJoon sees only the insult in that moment because it's all he has. It's the problem with love sometimes, that love is about caring for the other person and being hurt on their behalf but that other is still a person.)

HanJoon and his mother have always given YooJae food and love and the chocolate was just another extension of that, more to give to him to show how much he cared for him, to take care of him the only way he could.

Because this fight is about worry and love and fear. YooJae is scared of how his friend is living, how much his friend is spending, that he's losing his friend over this change in money and HanJoon is just trying to express his love, to love YooJae and to give him things because of love.

Neither is right, neither is wrong. They're both trying to show their love and their care for each other, their worry and their comfort, they're just doing it differently and that's hurting each other because they're young and they're scared and they're in love and life is changing so fast around them.

The way Hanjoon slowly and painfully picks up the chocolates is killing me. He has a broken heart figuratively and literally. 😭😭
