There are many charities working for peace. They aren't hard to find, and you should always do your due diligence before giving money to anyone. (Which is not a negative comment about the one above, or any other...just a reminder that people are broken and not always honest.)

Find a way to help.

Work for peace.

As you may know I'm Ukrainian. And Ukraine is being at war with Russia for 8 years. They invaded us, they annexed Crimea, they now declared so-called DNR and LNR "independent" right after sending in their troops to support "peace" (peace my a*s). The situation is getting worse.

I ask you simply to support Ukraine, share information, protest against Russia and donate to Ukrainian charities, such as Повернись Живим (here)

I'm reblogging this to add you to the prayer lists of all the people who may see this.

You don't need to apologize for anything, or worry about anybody abandoning you. Sure, I followed your blog for the sims content. That doesn't mean that I don't care about what happens to you, or the people you love (or your cat, for that matter.)

When people apologize for taking a break from simming, the good people of the community tend to respond by saying things like, "This is only a game, and real life is so much more important." "Take care of yourself, the game will be here when you get back," and so on.

This is even more true now. You aren't leaving because you're bored of the game or because of some silly creator drama. Real Life and Real Death are far more important now than ever.

We love you, too, and you're in our hearts and prayers.

Take care of yourself. Be safe. And know that we'll be here with you through it all.

To all my fellow simmers and longtime followers

I love you guys so much. It means a lot to me that you didn't unfollow this sorry blog long ago. I promise you that when the war is over, I will continue to post sims content. Honestly, I miss it so much. Sometimes when someone likes my old sims posts, I look back on it and feel so sad and empty. It feels like it's been a lifetime ago when in reality it was not that long ago at all.

Just suddenly felt the urge to tell you this. One day I will be back, good as new, with my ugly sims and horrendous floral wallpaper packs. Until then, thank you for staying.
