Man Suang Srichand Box Set

I bought this to try and relieve my sadness that I wasn't able to go to the Man Suang X Song Wat festival.

While I'm still sad I couldn't make a trip to Thailand, because the festival looked incredible and I would have been able to go see the film last year...the retail therapy did help.

The box set is presented so beautifully and has four translucent face powders with different designs on the lids 😻

Any theory on why they keep switching Mile to promote different products in SRICHAND but for Apo they still keep using him for the translucent powder

Hi! I thought about this for a couple of days and did a little research. I'm not sure if it will be a satisfactory answer for you.

MileApo used to be the Srichand China presenters only, and Srichand's Taobao store carried far fewer products than their Thai selection. (I found this catalogue on Thai Boots which I'm guessing is closer to everything Srichand's main brand sells) so I think Mile was just assigned to whatever they were going to sell.

The second reason is I believe Srichand is positioning this partnership specifically in the context of Man Suang. I talked about this before, but Srichand only showed up as a partner after Mile and Apo started looking for investors/sponsors and pitching Thai soft power.

Apo was actually seen putting powder in the first promo trailer BOC released. I'm sure lots of people who are way more knowledgeable about historic Thai makeup will make posts about this in the future, but it could just be a tie-in to Khem's character.

Of course the dancers also wore lip paint/rouge but how lip coloring is applied now (lipstick) is very different to historic makeup, so it might be a more natural tie-in. Powder, while now pressed, has been used for centuries mostly in the same way.

I do think there is going to be some specific campaign/set for Srichand and Man Suang, but that's about as much insight as I have.

Perfect for parched sensitive skin! 😕Kiehl’s Cactus Flower & Tibetan Ginseng Mist - Hydrating mist that I kept at work. I wanted to like this as I got it as a gift but the scent makes me sneeze.
