एक संक्षिप्त परिचय

१०८ दिव्यदेशो में से (१) श्रीरंगं

भूलोक वैकुंठं... श्रीरंगं..... पहला दिव्यदेश है।

भगवान अपनी समस्त सृष्टि को समान भाव से प्रेम करते हैं। भगवान श्री रंगनाथ स्वामी का अर्चा रूप में प्राकट्य, अपने प्रिय भक्तों की प्रार्थना तथा उनके प्रेम को स्वीकार करने के लिए ही हुआ था। पाणन, एक दळित होते हुए भी उत्तम कोटि के भक्त थे। भगवान ने उनकी शुद्ध भक्ति से प्रसन्न होकर, उनको 'आळवार' यानी दिव्यसूरि के पद पर बैठाकर पूजनीय बना दिया। उनके द्वारा रचित १० दिव्य गीत, वेदों से भी वंदनीय बना दिए ।

भगवान श्री रंगनाथ की कृपा, राक्षसों के राजा विभीषण पर भी बरसी। आज तक, श्री विभीषण के कर कमल से भगवान पूजा विधि को हर रात स्वीकार करते आ रहे हैं । अतः श्री रंगनाथ भगवान, न केवल मनुष्यों पर अपि तु प्राणी मात्र पर समान भाव से ही अपनी कृपा बरसाते हैं। भगवान सब को ही प्राप्त है।

भगवान श्री रंगनाथ ही, इस धरा धाम पर प्रकट हुए, सर्वप्रथम अर्चा विग्रह हैं। यह लगभग २०० करोड़ वर्ष पूर्व का इतिहास है।

यह एकमात्र ऐसे भगवान हैं, जिनकी अनोखी महिमा का वर्णन सभी आळवारों ने अपने दिव्य प्रबंधों में किया।

आइए, भगवान श्री रंगनाथ की अहैतुकी वत्सलता को ध्यान में रखते हुए, उनकी कृपा के लिए प्रार्थना करें!
