“Cetatea Poenari (or Cetatea Poienari) is a citadel in  Argeş County in Romania. It was build around the beginning of 13th century by Matei Basarab, the first king of Walacchia or Valahia. Poienari is very high and just a few people climb there. It is the place where Vlad Dracul's wife, Elizabetta, committed suicide when she was lied that her husband was dead. she jumped from a window from Cetatea Poienari in front of the turkish army.
