Spokane’s Elkfest canceled permanently over concerns about noise, traffic, trash - Mon, 07 May 2018 PST
The annual free concert in Browne’s Addition will not take place in June, and will end after 13 years of filling neighborhood streets, organizers said Monday. The decision comes after the city required Elkfest to pay overtime to police officers providing security and neighbors came forward with concerns about noise and traffic.
