Does Toby know about the past of Jack (how he got sacrificed etc.) and if yes how did he react when he found out?

toby knows of it vaguely... jack has never sat and been like 'well it all started when...' but if toby asks why his eyes are full of tar, he'll just be like 'cuz they filled my sockets with tar.' or if toby asks why he has those marks on his cheeks, jack'll just say 'cuz they hooked my mouth open' and tobys always like Oh.....ok.... and he'll try to pry more and jacks like 'ok u can stop' and then its just awkward. LMFAOOO. jack just never wants to fully retell the story in detail, but he can make conversation of it after a few years. so long as toby's reacting appropriately.

toby just gets kinda freaked out. sure, his dad put him through hell and he's seen awful stuff, but the torture jack went through in that single night . . . and the betrayal too . . . at least all the people who fucked toby over fucked him over from the start. its one of those things he'd dwell on for a few days cuz jacks his friend and its weird imagining jack strapped down screaming in agony as his eyes r scooped out and he's force fed human meat. tobys never went through something like that, nor has he put someone through that.

it'd make toby rethink a lot of how he treats jack, too. he's said a lot of unfair bullshit to jack, made wrong assumptions, etc. he hears about jacks youth and automatically assumes jack never truly went through anything half as bad as himself. then he realizes he should stfu

I've been enjoying @kursed-curtain's whiteboard a lot! I love doing these little community collabs, cause it helps me see everyone's absolutely adorable art and it helps w/ the challenge of working w/ a limited palette.

on the one hand i understand the impulse to give the mimihagi statue this metallic texture -- even though though the original art seemed pretty clearly wooden-- the large bronze(?) statue evoke a more impressive presence, especially in the dark of a temple interior. But the wooden one gave off a much more distinct vibe of the Nio statues (particularly the ones at Todaiji in Nara) that come in a pair guarding the left and right side of major temple gates. The most famous ones are specifically lacquered wood rather than stone or metal, and also share mimihagi's hagoromo, halo-like celestial scarf.

Happy ending at last

Somewhere out there, Tony Stark died, and with his final breath, he saved the universe. The Avengers won. Thanos was deafeted, but the cost was too much for some to bear.

But what none of the realised, is that they reached their goal. They stopped Thanos. They managed to make sure the Blib never happened. They saved a Universe.

Just not their own.

Somewhere out there, Thanos and his army left a universe, to fight in another one. There, Thor did get Asghardians safe to Earth. Loki got his second chance. The Accords were reversed. The Avengers got back together. Tony got to get married, and become proper father to Peter, joined by Harley, and later Morgan. Peter and Loki got to become friends. Peter got to meat Matt and Wade, he got to introduce them to May. Steve and Bucky got to get somewhat of normal life, and adopt a little girl together. Natasha got to reunite with her sister.

New York, the Earth, was protected.

Somewhere out there, a Universe was saved, without even knowing.
