You haven't asked yet but I have been thinking about it, as I love Aleks so much and ;u; Jodie would too.

So, I'd like to say that, generally, I think it would be really sweet if Aleks kinda helped Jodie figure out life in America after the events of the campaign - I think that's where most of their interactions would come from maybe? Jodie really doesn't understand civilian life and would struggle with that transition when she is eventually allowed to live in America (though it's under the ever-watchful eye of the CIA).

One interaction I thought about was Aleks introducing her to the best cafes around, showing her places to spend her time and go to unwind, relax, especially after a hard day or difficult mission. Maybe even a play date for their kids, when eventually Jodie has Ash!

I won't lie, it might take some time for Jodie to open up to Aleks, but as they have things in common and the fact that Aleks is so genuine, Jodie might find it easier to open up to her. She'd actually want to get to know her, know more etc. Jodie doesn't usually get like that with people - but Aleks is just so genuine to her and Jodie isn't used to that kind of softness, if that makes sense.

I don't know how to explain it, Aleks just gives me the vibes that you can trust her, you get what you see and Jodie doesn't find herself feeling as guarded.

THE KINDNESS OF THE BUFFALO

Before Geats ends I want to dedicate a few words to the best Geats character, the one that made me enjoy a year of a KR series again.

I have written before how he made me feel on edge through the series, how is not the type of character that I use to like or love. So Buffa/Michinaga Azuma was a big surprise for me. XD

I believe he best embodies the meaning of being a true kamen rider at it's core. And from all the cast, he had the most development throught the series.

From being a poor construction worker and nobody to antagonist to a hero. In every stages I felt alittle bit of kindness even in his worst acts, that small amount was enough for me to believe in him, believe that he was a good guy, that he was pushed between wall and sword, that he was bounded by circumstances. And Buffa totally delivered.

I want to believe that every kid fan of his was totally happy watching him being a hero in this last Geats arc. You know... when Michinaga said sorry to Keiwa and Keiwa said sorry to him too... my inner child was so happy, it was like: "Look! they are finally friends, there will be no more hate" X,D Because being a Buffa fan throught the series felt like being bullied by his haters: You can't like him, he's a killer, he's not a good guy, not a hero, you have made that up, he's not repent for his actions, etc, etc.Just imagine... being a kid, fan of Buffa... wanting to play with other kids... but those kids say that you can't like him, that he's evil. (hope no kid were bullied like this, because is an horrible feeling TTATT).

I believe that one of the magic that tokusatsu shows have is make you feel like a child again, so really this shows dont need to be the best in writing or effects. If it made you feel like a child again, if it left you with some values... even if execution was bad, it dont matter.

Geats was not the best KR series... writing was bad... plot points were forgot... plot holes everywhere... wasted characters (usually Yuya Takashi series X,D)... but was fun, was fun to wonder every weekend if Michinaga was good, what he wanted to do, where he will going to end, what was he thinking and ultimately was fun watching him doing good, trying to save people, saying he believes in Geats (I literally cried by that statement, truly character development at his finest). Without him I couldn't have enjoyed Geats. He was, for me, the heart of this series. Through him I enjoyed the other cast and it's story.

Buffa is the live image that: If you have kindness in your heart no matter circumstances, no matter how hard life is, you can be a good person, you can fight back destiny and win.

Thank you Buffa/Michinaga Azuma for don't let me down and deliver. Kazuto Mokudai, thank you for play him. 19yrs baby did an awesome job. TTvTT

Norn9 Var Commons

There is a girl who watched the anime of Norn9 back in 2016 and well, the anime was pretty bad (and kinda ugly xD) but she still felt kinda interested by the characters and the universe that it stuck in her mind for a long time....especially since she had a big otp in it and the anime never made them canon at the end, the frustration....

The girl soon learned that the anime was actually a bad adaptation of a visual novel game of the same name. She wasn’t playing many at that time because the most of the VN were on PS Vita and the poor girl couldn’t afford one (and wasn’t interested either). So she waited, hoping that someday, the game will be exported on pc or a console she would possess.

And this year, her wish came true ; Otomate group brought Norn9 on switch with a fixed english translation (apparently the previous one was bad) and more contents <3

Ok first, let me be clear, yes I definitely bought the game because I NEEDED TO SEE MY OTP FINALLY BE CANON xD it was for my own mental health lol 7 years of craving guys (TTvTT). I didn’t even start by this one though to not be biased about each routes (it was my 4th routes!!! I’VE BEEN PATIENT) and well, IT WAS STILL THE BEST ROUTE IM SORRY, AKito x Nanami best pair for sure <3333

That being said, how was the game? well, definitely better than the anime xD less confusing and more focused as well...even though the story isn’t always clear and consistent :

❤ An unusual otome since it gives you the choice between 3 different heroines, each with their own LI. They each have their own characteristics and are never relegated to the background, which is really cool for their personal development. Another positive point; THEY ARE DUBBED!!! (I hate when everyone is dubbed except for the girl, it's so annoying ><) ❤ An amazing cast with endearing characters, even the most secondary or the most horrible x) ❤ A very nice chara-design and frankly beautiful illustrations. ❤A beautiful OST which I never get tired of even after 40 hours of play ;) ❤ ALL.THE.EXTRAS!!!! (mini-games + bonus dub on the illustrations + mini comics etc...) ❤ An appreciated fast skip system which, compared to the normal skip, allows you to skip all the dialogues already read at once and which saves a lot of time when you just want to unlock an ending or an illustration.

+/- I really liked the sci-fi aspect of the universe and the story brought a lot of mystery and even surprises..but still there are inconsistencies in how each routes are put together. The universe is getting a little imprecise bcs of that.

✖ The epilogue and the character of Sorata. Sorata is not a bad character but we could very well have removed him that it would not have changed anything I think. He is supposed to be the main character at first but disappears completely in favor of the heroines. And when his route comes with the epilogue, it's so rushed that we don't even have time to appreciate his arc and his role in the story. The poor kid deserved better :/ ✖ The use of first/last names in the English translation is very distracting. For example, we hear the heroine call her companion "Kakeru" in the dubbing but it will be written "Yuiga" in the dialog box. And it happens a lot and I don't understand why the translation just couldn't follow the audio dialogues… ✖ I have a pbm with Ron's route because I didn't feel any real chemistry with Nanami. It's also the only route where I didn't feel any sparks between the characters.

It took me 40h+ to finish so yeah, that's a big one ;) I'd recommend just for the heroines bcs it's a nice change to have more than one but also because the girls are adorable, smart and brave <3 It's rare for me to appreciate that much the main girl tbh!

GUYS! So in Germany we were blessed in August 2020 that Saezuru FINALLY got published here ( i still can’t believe it...) And I just have to know what you guys think about some translation in chapter 16! There a 2 Bubbles I personally found interesting!  If you are interested click on read more,,, I just have to scream into the void!!!

Here is the first:

In the left he says “Well, since it wasn’t her real father, maybe your sister also enjoyed it”  or if you go with the literally translation “ Well, since it wasn’t her real father, maybe your sister had her fun with it also.”

LIKE, WHAT THE FUCK! I remember reading an english scanlation and I didn’t got it why doumeki fliped out. Like yes, it was AWFUL but he really hadn’t a reason to lash out in THAT way. But in this context it makes so much sense! Because doumeki is calm when it comes to trash talk about himself, but if you say something bad about his sister or the people her cares, he gets reeeeally mad (remember when yashiro pissed him of when he persuaded him to talk to his sister in the beginning? He also got to the troat there) And the second one i found just ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

D: “It’s still hard. Should I continue?” 

Y: “No, stop...” 

To be honest I also like the english translation :D because the english one is really heart wrenching, if you think about doumekis later thought process about how he couldn’t stop himself. I can’t describe what I feel about the german one only this face ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) like, damn doumeki, don’t be greedy

RZ’s Michael Myers:

♥ There’s not a lot that can calm Michael down on bad days. He has them ever so often and every time it’s so hard for him to hold back from destroying something or someone. You can see him just randomly standing in place, with fidgeting hands and you know immediately what’s up, so you sneak up to him, something you know wasn’t too smart, considering who he was and what he was like, but you learned to hum quietly before coming too close, so he knows you’re approaching and won’t knock you out and once you can see his guard drop, your hands are enveloping his torso, your head pressing lightly on his back and he huffs, still struggling with his agitated state.

♥ “Mikey, sweetie, go sit down, alright?” You hum to him softly, quietly and cautiously observe the movements of his back muscle for any sign of aggression caused by your request, only to see none, instead receiving a small nod from the big guy. “Thank you.” you make sure to say, before shifting away and moving towards the kitchen. 

♥ Still you keep an eye on him, watch for a sign that he might break and go outside, start another killing spree… Something you’d rather avoid.

♥ To your relief however he shudders under a breath and almost too rapidly moves to the couch, letting his body sink into it, forcing the leather to squeak softly. His head lied down on the sofa’s back lazily and you could see the white of one of his paper masks. At least he wasn’t wearing the latex one again.

♥ He needed to relax, to feel secure, you knew that and the only way you knew how to make him to do so, was to make him feel at home.

♥ So you took out that nice black pan you had, and that bigger green bowl you bought recently, after the other one cracked, because Michael threw it against a wall in a fit (something he actually seemed apologetic about). Then you prepared some eggs, milk, flour, sugar and salt, baking soda… and a teeny-tiny bottle of vanilla extract.

♥ You could hear the shifting on the sofa behind you when you pulled the flour bag open, his eyes were focusing on you, your careful movements, focused face, your eyes measuring the proportions and you were sure his head tilted to the side that one time, as the soft sound of his hair moving against the leather filled the otherwise complete silence. It was often just complete quiet with Michael. He had been ‘mute’ for too long, his throat hurt whenever he spoke, sometimes even bleeding if he tried too hard to do so. Little to say, he did not enjoy speaking up, but it didn’t bother you. He loved to listen, when you spoke about the things you love, when you’d tell him about your day and just like now -when you hummed your little melodies, stirring the soon-to-be pancake batter, the soft scent of vanilla hitting his nostrils. 

♥ Another creak to the leather let you know he moved and you stopped, the hand that was reaching towards the stove’s knob to turn on the torch halting in the air. You heard him move towards you and soon enough his strong breathing was right next to you, making you hesitate before turning your head behind you slightly, trying to meet his gaze.”What’s wrong, big guy?” You asked him, trying to hide your nervousness as much as possible, seeing his hands still twitch nervously, still very much aggressive. 

♥ But you knew that he would sense your fear and so he did, lifting one of his hands towards your face, pulling it a bit backwards so he could see into your eyes properly, the pulse on your neck beating rhythmically under his fingertips.

♥ And he took a deep breath, taking in your features, the mix of emotions on your face, tilting his head at the slight hint of love still lingering in your eyes, making him huff softly, right before his other hand reached up to his mask which he lifted slowly, just enough to reveal his lips.

♥  Then his lips met yours in a kiss that was almost too chaste to be coming from this beast of a man, but it did and what followed was the soft feeling of your head being allowed to move back down and his own resting atop yours, his soft breathing tickling your neck.

♥ You smiled shyly, allowing his arms to wrap around you, letting him pull you closer to his chest, to relax, taking in your smell and warmth. Your hands reached towards his forearms, tracing them slowly, carefully, to not startle him.

♥ “You’re feeling a bit better, darling?” You ask him and a slow nod is what you get in return. “Good to know… I’ll make pancakes if you let me go…”. 

♥ A strong shake of his head, ruffling your hair, let you know he didn’t want to do that. “Michael…” you huffed and soon after yelped as his hold around you tightened. With a heavy breath you surrendered, petting his arms lovingly. “Alright, you tree man. Bring us to the sofa if you want cuddles so badly…”

♥ And to your surprise, you didn’t have to tell him twice.
